Carried Off Page 10

by Raven Willow

His hard cock now nestled right beneath her dripping cunt, and he couldn’t help but grin as he found her grinding herself against his length.

“There you are, my dear. That is what betrays you.” He pushed her back onto her hands and knees, running the tip of his dripping member against her warm slit, drawing forth more of the lustful moans he had to hear.

“I am a monster? When I am through with you, you will be begging this monster for more!” Alistair thrusted himself into her without warning, her tight sheath already taking all of him with little resistance.

“Ahhh! Fuck! Yes! My mate, I knew this would be so easy, sliding myself into your wet little cunt. It just wants to be bred, all for me... only for me!”

Alistair threw his head back and slammed her ass against his waist, not caring who heard and not caring in this moment who desired what was his.

“After I’ve fucked you, my scent on you will make even the strongest of wolves fear me. No one will come within arm’s length of you, do you understand me! No one!”

He looked down upon hearing his name being screamed, only now in pleasure, no longer anger. Even when Riona lifted a small fist attempting to slow him down, futile really. If she truly wished, she could have overtaken him and climbed on top of him with little effort with her newfound strength.

  No. She wanted it.

  And she would have it.

Riona was beginning to fall forward with the repeated movements as she gave up her fight. With each bounce of her breasts upon every heated thrust, how her messy locks fell in front of her face, she slowly began to let go and accept what was happening to her.

“I know you enjoy my cock, love. No point in denying it. You loved it from the moment I first took you. You missed this, didn’t you?”

Riona’s only response was a guttural moan that filled his ears as he bumped her cervix. Riona tightened immediately, whimpering incoherent words of coming on his cock.

“Come for me, my mate, open yourself up to me and come for me. You know only I will ever be able to give you this pleasure, so do not deny me the orgasm that is rightfully mine.”

Alistair was unconcerned with how many times exactly she had come for him. He could never deny her, but he would finish inside her. The pups he would give Riona would be fucked into her no matter how many times he had to take her where she stood.

The inevitable tightness that formed in his own belly signaled that he was close, triggered by yet another body-quaking orgasm from Riona. Only now her face was pressed against the floor, the only force keeping the rest of her body upright being Alistair’s hold on her hips. He growled impatiently and, taking both arms in his hands, fucked her harder.

  “Oh, Gods! Ohhhh, Gods!”

She was utterly helpless in his hands, vulnerable. Just the way Alistair wanted it.

One clawed foot braced against the floor as he released her arms, but he kept one hand at her shoulder and another at her waist. He was too close now, but there would be no holding his true nature back.

When his knot began to form, her womb stretched around him tighter than before. She would feel a strange sensation deep within, but Alistair would guide her.

  “Be still, Riona. Be still.”

  “What?”

“I am sorry, this will be overwhelming.”

“W-what will? Alistair...? W-what is happening!”

Alistair groaned as he filled her womb with warmth until she was impossibly flooded. So full now that she could see the slight fullness in her lower stomach.

“Take it... there, my sweet girl... just be still.”

Riona craned her neck back at him, a word beginning to form across her lips. But a thick bulbous object that began stretching her opening even wider stopped her as she cried out.

  “Ahhh! What is that!”

“Shhh, relax, dove, just melt into me...” Alistair’s knot expanded at the base of his cock, keeping the lovers locked together, as not to waste a single drop of his seed.

  “I-it hurts!”

“Breathe with me... come to me.” Effortlessly, Alistair lifted Riona in the air, sitting her upright on his cock with her back against his chest and legs in the air spread wide open.

“Ohhh, Gods, yesss... so perfect.” He supported her behind her knees while Riona grabbed fistfuls of his hair wherever she could find it.

Riona squirmed and attempted to extract herself from him, but a gentle paw splayed across her belly somehow kept her from doing so.

“Not a drop, love... not one.”

  “Y-yes, Alistair... yes...”

What am I doing? This is madness. Knotting this pure frightened little thing.

“It is only my knot, my sweet. This is how my kind keep themselves locked to their mates when we spill ourselves inside. This is a natural occurrence—oh, fuck!”

“I-it’s so good... I-I’m coming again...” Riona rocked herself against him, as he felt himself rub against her cervix, the knot still thick inside her.

“Give it to me, my darling, one more, just one more for me, please...”

The thin sheen of sweat dripped along Riona’s skin as she threw her head back. His wolf preened. She was allowing herself to give in.

Alistair was careful not to move her and cause her any more pain, but froze as her long hair cascaded down his chest, a few tendrils even reaching the back of his neck. She gripped him so tight he was afraid she would pull his fur out.

As Riona screamed, he reveled in the feeling of her womanhood for one final time before he felt his knot decrease in size, eventually allowing her to slide off Alistair’s cock with a wet pop. He followed suit, shifting again but being sure not to let go of her. The feeling of his fur disappearing into his flesh and leaving his human hands to remain made him shiver.

“Come here.” In one gentle swoop, Alistair carried Riona to the bed, wanting to get her under the covers quickly.

She will still be angry at you. You cannot ignore it.

Alistair shut the intrusive thoughts away, not wanting anything to distract him. Riona curled up beside him, resting her head on his chest and a hand over his heart. She did not look at him, or he at her. They sat in blissful silence, listening to each other’s breathing.

“I was angry.” Riona’s soft voice addressed the silence.

  “Hm?”

“I was angry at you. Furious. But mostly frightened.”

Alistair sighed, hating himself for reacting so poorly.

  “Riona, I—”

“No, I know. I believe you. I trust you.” Riona lifted her head, looking up at him with the same innocent eyes he fell in love with. That was all he needed to hear.

“Look.” She showed him her hand, which showed no signs of claws anymore. Alistair took it in his hand, kissing her fingers.

“Still beautiful as ever.” He allowed a smirk, even getting one in return.

  “No more teeth.”

Alistair ran a thumb over her lips and exposed her normal, human teeth.

“Yes, my dear, no more teeth.” Alistair chuckled.

“That is the farthest I have come during a shift so far. But it was so intense already. I do not know if I can imagine being able to tolerate a complete shift.” Riona furrowed her brows.

“You will, love.” Alistair tilted her chin to look at him. “Because I will be right there by your side.”

  Chapter Sixteen

Alistair woke to the smell of warm bread and jam throughout the cottage. He smiled. His mate must have found the kitchen tools and borrowed from the supply Elspeth returned with from a neighboring village some time ago.

While the wolves mainly fed when they hunted, varying other types of foods could be appealing when the wolf was at rest.

He got up slowly, allowing his body to adjust as he popped a few joints. Alistair followed his mate’s scent mixed with the food, his cock already twitching at the thought of her in his kitchen. She was wearing his robe, her mass of curls piled at the top of her head with a ribbon
to display her perfect face. Riona was quietly padding around searching for something in the cupboards. Perhaps a knife or another utensil. He raised his brows, wondering if his mate with a knife in her hand would be the best idea. She already attacked and ran from him once.

Nothing a good spanking couldn’t fix. He’d have to bend his woman over and give her a small swatting for not staying in bed next to him where she was safe.

He thought back to the nightmare and wanted her by his side at all times. Alistair wouldn’t risk Cinead infiltrating the pack. For now, he’d put it from his mind. He couldn’t worry his mate more.

Alistair crossed his arms and took in the sight of her stirring what seemed to be jam in the saucepan, with wine and cheeses already prepared on the table.

“What did I do to deserve this, little girl?”

Riona jumped a little when Alistair spoke up. He chuckled when she began fussing with loose tendrils of her hair nervously.

“You never told me my mate was an excellent cook.” He stepped over to her, gesturing to the bread fresh from the oven.

“Well... um, Elspeth returned with a whole barrel full of food and supplies from the village merchants. She thinks I ought to start really making this a home.”

Alistair nodded his head, silently thanking his friend for giving Riona the encouragement. He knew she was still apprehensive.

“And you’ve done a lovely job, Riona. But I would have much preferred to find you here naked.” He wrapped his hands around her waist from behind, tickling her a little. She fought back a squeal when he shrugged away the fabric covering her shoulder to press a kiss there. Riona shyly giggled and turned from her mate’s wandering hands.

“I asked if I could spend time with her today. Maybe wash clothes or do other chores. B-but I said I would ask you first...”

She anxiously chewed her lip. Alistair felt proud that she thought to seek permission, though she didn’t need it to spend time with another female. Elspeth was keen in her senses. If there was trouble, she would know.

“Shh, of course, love, that would please me very much. She and the rest of us want you to feel at home here. You may take clothes or any other items with you, but do not stray too far. You’ll be called back to our bed before the moon rises.” Alistair winked and took her chin in his fingers for a kiss.

This time, she moaned into his mouth and ran her little fingers over his hair. He wanted to just pick her up and lay her out on the table right there, but she mumbled something about the jam burning if he didn’t extract himself from her arms.

Alistair gave her ass a little swat before leaving her to her work while he readied himself for a long hunt. He did not need to worry as long as his mate was within the pack.

  Chapter Seventeen

Alistair sighed contentedly as he finished his food. He continuously said he would have to allow her to prepare a whole feast for the pack under the next full moon. That they adored her already; imagine how their love for her would grow after a meal like this.

“My dear, you have gifted hands. Whoever taught you such craft, I only wish I could thank them.” He sipped his wine and Riona blushed. She had never cooked for a man before. There was something satisfying about the domestic tasks he was beginning to allow her little by little.

“My mother! She was well known in the village for her cooking. If I wasn’t trying to sample the food first, I was learning.”

Riona laughed as she remembered her mother, beautiful as her mother before her and the kind heart of the village. She made the most out of Riona’s childhood, with her father being the way he was. But her mother always protected her, warning her of the dangers of the world. Riona shook those thoughts away. Alistair was her mate now, she supposed. And she was learning that and the ways of the wolf.

Riona wondered if she would ever grow used to those words, or this way of life. Her whole life had been nothing but hardship. Always struggling just to make ends meet. Riona knew she should hate the man who took her, who threw her into a life she thought impossible.

But with him... she was a goddess, she was a queen. She was his to breed and his to command, but night after night she searched her soul, and could not understand why she craved him. Perhaps he was right. Maybe she was born for this. And now, desiring to wake and perform tasks for him or merely sit and spend time with him properly, she finally understood why she was meant for him.

Because being with Alistair felt like the most natural thing in the world despite her fear. But she was beginning to understand the real threat.

It was the wolf he spoke of, Cinead, who she feared now.

“Is your dear mother still with us?”

“Oh... no. She passed in my thirteenth summer. My father followed shortly after. I have been on my own since then.” Riona frowned, recalling that day always saddened her.

“What happened, dove?” Alistair took her hand.

“The sickness. Coughing, chills, a horrid fever. When it passed over our village we always tried to protect ourselves. We scrubbed everything with vinegar and prayed to the goddess, but it didn’t work this time. Mama fell ill and passed seven moons later. Papa left to fetch more food and supplies in the neighboring village but never returned. The elders found his body some miles down the road. He had likely caught it caring for Mama.”

Alistair listened to Riona’s story intently. The heartbroken cast that spread across his otherwise perfect face made her want to stop, but he took her hands and professed his thoughts.

“I am so sorry, dove. That is not the life I had wished for my true mate. If it had been up to me, you would have lived in luxury, not having to grow up before your time.”

Anger took the place of the heartbreak now, but Riona reassured him.

“No! In a way, I suppose it made me who I am today.” She shrugged. At least that was what she hoped she was supposed to take away from those experiences.

“You should have been allowed the chance to be a child still.” He squeezed her hand. Was that... regret she was sensing?

“What I never understood was... why not me? I cared for Mama in her bed. I fed her, bathed her, clothed her, and gave her medicines. Yet, I never took ill. Why, Alistair?”

She felt the tears in her eyes and immediately felt the wave of guilt and despair again. She was supposed to die with them, so why didn’t she?

“Oh, sweetheart...” Alistair moved from his chair and knelt before her, taking her hands in his to kiss them. He bowed his head in her lap and held her.

“Gods, I wish I could take those feelings away from you forever. My mate should never have been made to suffer in that way.”

“You feel what I feel?” Of course, that would explain why his body was beginning to tense up as her own did.

“Riona, I will explain this to you the best I can. None of it was your fault. You did everything you could. The goddess... called your mother home to the summerland. And I would like to think that she watches over you still, in her own way. But there may be a reason you never took ill.”

Riona took a deep breath and braced herself for more information. She wasn’t sure how much she could absorb.

“The fevers of man never touch my people, or the predestined mates. So was the way of it from the very first wolves to walk this land. Gifts from the goddess, my elders would explain to us. And, well, I feared you would blame me, lash out and lock yourself in your room just when you were beginning to grow comfortable in your new home. And who could blame you?”

She was in the bed of a man who claimed her innocence in the very forest her mother warned her about, and for good reason. She had to be intuitive, wise beyond her time to sense her daughter’s future. It wasn’t shocking to Riona that her mother had tried to prevent the inevitable. It all made sense now.

“But man spread the word of my people, how we were evil monsters who must be hunted down and killed at all cost. My only regret that your mama would have been able to see that her daughter, my true mate, is indeed growing h
appy here. And you must believe, had it been within my power, you both would have been brought here under my protection to ensure her wellness.”

Riona listened quietly while Alistair explained the phenomenon, but instead of becoming upset, she was hit with an overwhelming urge to throw her arms around his neck, burying her face there. She breathed a sigh of relief.

“Alistair... it was you. You kept me alive. The love you would have for me as... your mate is what protected me all these years.”

Riona laughed through tears while she pulled back to touch his face, running her fingers over his beard.

Alistair gingerly wrapped his arms around her. A brief awkward moment faded when he looked to accept how it was all real. That a woman he had confessed his love to and craved wasn’t nearly climbing on top of him just to hold him.

“You saved me. I know I did not see it that way, but I do now... you saved me.”

  Chapter Eighteen

Alistair whispered instructions to Elspeth about no one straying too far and inside by sundown if he had not returned already. Riona quietly waited for his permission before moving from her spot next to him. He gave her a kiss before running off on his hunt with Ceardach, who bowed his head in respect for the new alpha mate. She looked away and blushed again. She wasn’t a queen.

His wolf was brown and red, smaller than Alistair. She smiled and nodded back, but the low growl she could hear coming from her mate’s chest made her turn away. She recalled the territorial nature of the wolf as Alistair stepped in front of her. Ceardach’s wolf whimpered and backed away in submission. He took her cheek in his hand and pressed his forehead to hers.

“Mine.” Riona could see his teeth begin to elongate until she initiated another kiss. The anxiety Riona could feel through the bond began to lessen and he took a deep breath. With a final kiss he left her with Elspeth, who called out from her lodge with a handful of clothes in a basket.

“Merry meet, alpha mate!” She trotted over to hug her pack member, her long white-blonde hair brushing against Riona.
