“You have no idea how much that means to me, but legally binding or not, you’re stuck with me. Now before my ol’ man comes back here and drags me out by my hair, like the cave man he is, we better get a move on.” The walk down the makeshift aisle was short, but Bart never took his eyes off of Bliss for a second. He saw no one else, but her, everyone else was non-existent as far as he was concerned. I knew he’d love her with everything he had in him, and he would keep their children safe by any means necessary. Handing Bliss over to him was harder than I thought it would be, even though I knew she was in good hands. Bart shook my hand, and I pulled him in for a hug before I took my spot in the front aisle.

The ceremony held little interest for me, my eyes were all for the beautiful maid-of-honor, even though the hideous yellow dress she was wearing would be in shreds by the end of the night. That was to guarantee she wouldn’t try to ever wear it again, not that I thought she would. She glowed from the inside out, tears formed as she listened to Bart and Bliss’ vows. I couldn’t wait to be able say vows to her, tell her I would love her, cherish her, until death do us part. Hell, even beyond, if I could manage it. Too soon, the ceremony was over, and we were throwing bird seeds at the happy couple, before Holland could reach Beth’s hand I grabbed her away from him heading down the aisle.

“You’re just not fast enough; go find your own woman.” Holland smiled at me before heading off in a different direction toward his father. They were both tight lipped when it came to what went down with his mother, but assured me everything was taken care of. As long as nothing came back to bite the club in the ass, I’d let them handle their own shit. The redhead that always seemed to be hanging all over him might become a problem, based on the dirty looks his sisters were giving her from across the yard. Whoever she was Holland didn’t look like he had plans of getting rid of her anytime soon.

“Hey, I lost you there. You better not be eyeballing that redhead, I might have to go over there and make her less pretty if you are.” Kissing the top of her head I smiled at even her fiery temper, it had gotten more fiery, if that was possible, the farther she got in her pregnancy.

“I was just wondering if she was going to survive Holland’s sisters, if looks could kill she’d be toast. Although the look Holland keeps shooting Matt’s brothers, while they talk to his sisters could neuter them. But now I only have eyes for you my love. How are you feeling? Do you need to sit down, the tents are just over there, and we can grab our seats while we wait for dinner to be served?”

“Did you say food, because I could definitely use some food, or I should say our little bundle of joy could use some food.” Sure, it was our little bundle; it had nothing to do with her at all. “Don’t give me that look; just take me to the food.” Smiling, I held her hand as we made our way into the tent they set up for the reception. It wasn’t a big affair, but it was fancier than Bliss originally wanted it, considering she tried to get Bart just to elope, and he wouldn’t have it. He wanted her to have no regrets when marrying him.

By the time, we made it to our seats Bliss and Bart were sitting in their spot at the raised dais. They didn’t even seem to notice the rest of us; they were looking at each other during most of the meal. It wasn’t until after dinner, when they moved the tables out for us to dance that they seemed to come to their senses.

Their first dance as a couple was sweet and beautiful; he held her close whispering in her ear while he twirled her around the dance floor. Her smile lit up the whole tent, and I couldn’t wait to be doing the same with Bethy. God, I wished she’d let us get married before the baby came too, but she was pretty adamant about waiting until she could fit into a normal wedding dress. Now I was regretting agreeing to that though.

The father/daughter song began, and Bart moved forward to hand her off to me. Wrapping my arms around her, I held her close, knowing when she left she wouldn’t be mine anymore she’d completely be Bart’s. I was both sad and happy at the same time.

“Don’t you dare cry, if you cry I’ll cry, that’s too much crying for such a happy day.” Bliss smiled up at me, and the lump in my throat subsided a little. “That’s better, now tell me how much you love me, and how if he ever breaks my heart you’ll kick his ass.”

“You have that speech down don’t you, I do love you, and if he breaks your heart I will kick his ass.” Our dance ended with me handing her off to Bart, after I hugged her to me one more time.

When the music began again it was time for everyone to join in, I grabbed Bethy holding her as close as her belly would allow.

“I’m ready to take you home and rip that dress right off you. Would you object to that?” She laughed at me, before reaching her hands around my neck, to pull me into a soul-searing kiss.

“I’ll help you rip it off. When can we leave?” We politely waited until Bart and Bliss rode off into the sunset on his bike, even though like Bethy, I didn’t like the idea, but they weren’t going far thankfully. Not even a minute after they were on the road we were in my truck heading home. It’s been two months since she finally agreed to move in with me, and we’d been living together ever since. As soon as the baby was born, we were getting married. The plans were already in the works, and then she would be mine forever.
