And in the grand scheme of things, I’d been faithful to a single man for over a decade. A single unappreciative man. One who may or may not have been sleeping with Tamara, his bubbly little coworker, while we were still together.
One man in ten years, I sighed to myself. And now three in a single—
“Turn over,” Mason said, squeezing my ass one last time. “I need to see your pretty face.”
I twisted sideways, then rolled onto my back and spread wide for him. He plunged back into me, crushing me to the bed, bringing his sexily stubbled face up against mine.
“I want to see your eyes,” he whispered into my mouth. He kissed me again as we stared at each other, each of us sinking deeper into the moment. “God, you have such gorgeous fucking eyes…”
Under other circumstances I would’ve figured it a line, just to get into my pants. Only I didn’t have pants. And he didn’t need to get into anything, he was already there.
For some reason I laughed, and he laughed too. Then we kissed, and kissed some more… screwing each other so hard it almost hurt.
“Alright man,” I heard Brody say. “You’re hogging her now.”
Mason chuckled, then sat back on his legs. He was still fucking me, only now he was holding my ankles high in both hands. Corey and Brody climbed onto the bed, offering themselves to me from either side. I took each of them in hand. Craned my head back and forth, to take them one by one in my mouth, too.
“God,” Mason breathed. “That’s so fucking hot.”
Two hands went to my breasts, teasing them gently. Another brushed the hair back from my eyes, so I could see everything that was happening to me. They switched places, and suddenly Brody was inside me. I winked at him as he bottomed out, stretching me thickly as we shared a cute little smile.
This is amazing…
Three guys. THREE. Holy fucking shit. It was all I could focus on. All I could think about, as they switched again.
Taking turns on you…
As crazy as it was, that part seemed almost natural to me. The way they shared me, the way they traded off. It all seemed so seamless, so effortless — as if I were made for them, and they for me.
It was almost as if this were the thousandth time the four of us had done this, instead of the first.
God, I could do this forever.
The thought was strangely thrilling to me. Because as much as I knew this was probably a one-shot deal, oddly enough I could actually imagine living like this. Having three young lovers who cared for me, who loved me, who took me whenever the mood struck. Three gorgeous men I could service myself, giving them anything and everything they ever wanted…
I allowed the fantasy to bloom in my mind, flowering happily as I serviced them in real life. I sucked Brody while pumping Corey. Switched again, to blow Mason while Brody fucked me. I was flipped onto my stomach. Plundered from one corner of the bed to the other, in every conceivable position, from every possible angle.
It was Mason who shot first, pulling desperately from my pussy and spilling himself all over me. His come felt like warm rain, showering down all over my chest and stomach. I locked eyes with him through every grunt, every stroke, and then suddenly Corey and Brody were coming too; one pressed up against my lips and mouth, the other, showering my body with more hot seed.
Ohhhhh…
For a good minute, the room was all grunts and groans — the air permeated thickly with the scent of sex. I laid back to watch their perfect bodies, writhing over me. Their arms bulging wildly, as they pumped themselves dry. It was warm and wet and amazingly powerful, to be the complete center of their attention. The sum total of their every effort.
I was delirious in my own desire. Drunk with raw, sexual power.
Those feelings lingered as I dragged my hands over my own body. Through the sweltering hot mixture of sweat, and sex, and come.
Then, drifting in and out of consciousness, I was pulled by powerful arms into a sea of hard, muscular flesh.
Thirty-Five
LAUREN
I was walking sideways on the way to the kitchen, still in a sleepy haze. Following a half dozen delicious scents through a curtain of my own tangled, blonde hair.
“I—Is that bacon?”
“And coffee,” said a voice I knew to be Mason’s. “Sit.”
Somehow my ass found a seat. A gratifying soreness flared, somewhere between my legs. Daylight was everywhere, streaming in through every window. It lit up the glass house like a movie set.
“What time is it?” I squinted.
“Elevenish.”
Ugh, I thought to myself. My flight was in six or seven hours. I had to get back, pack up, get to the airport…
“Y—You let me sleep that late?”
“You needed it.”
“Yes, but—”
A mug of coffee was shoved in front of me, along with a heaping plate of scrambled eggs. Bacon came next, from a different direction. A hand touched my shoulder, and someone passed me the sugar bowl.
“This sort of feels like last night,” I laughed weakly.
“Funny you should mention last night…” Brody grinned slowly.
My eyes adjusted, and I could finally see. The guys were in shorts and T-shirts, Mason still in his boxers. All bedraggled and stubbled in the morning light, they looked sexy as hell. Corey was eating cereal from a colorful ceramic bowl. Shredded wheat, or maybe—
“We have a proposition for you,” said Corey.
I swallowed my first sip of coffee. Good coffee, thank God. I pinned an errant lock of hair back behind one ear and squinted up at him.
“Didn’t I already take you up on a proposition?”
“Yes,” he smiled. “And you’re welcome.”
I barked a short laugh. “Welcome?”
He took another bite of cereal. “For taking care of you last night.”
“You demolished me last night.”
Brody coughed. Corey’s mouth curled into a milk-laced smile.
“Are you complaining?”
“Not a single bit.”
The truth was, I couldn’t. Aside from a general lack of sleep, last night had been nothing short of legendary.
“So you had fun?” Brody asked, pouring himself more coffee. I laughed so hard I snorted.
“Is that what we’re calling it? Fun?”
“Sure.”
“Then yes,” I said firmly. “I definitely had fun.”
“Good,” declared Corey, setting his bowl down. His expression was suddenly more serious. “Because Lauren…” he paused, glancing at each of his friends in turn. “We’d like you to stay.”
It took a moment for the statement to sink in. When it did, alarms went off in my head.
“S—Stay?” I stammered. “Here? With you guys?”
All three of them nodded, and my stomach dropped into my feet.
“I can’t stay,” I said quickly. “I have to get back. My flight’s in a few hours. In fact—”
“You were telling us this is the first vacation you’ve taken in a really long time,” said Brody. “Right?”
“Years,” I confirmed.
“Then why not extend it? Take another few days. Maybe an extra week.”
A week! Already I could picture Lilith’s expression. Hear the anger and disappointment in her great big sigh.
“We talked it over while you were sleeping,” said Brody. “Spending a week out in the desert is always fun, but it’ll be more fun with you here.”
“I’ll bet.”
“Not just that,” Mason stepped in. “I mean, sure, that. But also—”
“Also it’s just nice to have someone else here,” said Brody. “Someone to talk to, laugh with. Someone to bounce things off of, and get a girl’s perspective on things.”
Another few days. Here. With them…
“Besides, how many times can we share the same stories?” Brody went on. “The three of us have all the same experiences. You’re someone… different.

“And fun,” Corey smiled. “Don’t forget that part.”
“And totally chill,” Mason chimed in. “Like California levels of chill… but without all that phony Hollywood bullshit.”
I crunched down on a piece of bacon, but I barely tasted it. “So California chill with a New York edge?” I found myself saying.
“Yeah,” Mason grinned. “That.”
“And what about work?” I said, more to myself than them. “What about my boss?”
“You can’t ask for another few days?”
“I guess I could,” I reasoned. “But the way things are—”
“The way things are,” said Corey, “you’ve been working too hard for those people anyway. Obviously they’re abusing you, if they only let you out once every three of four years.”
Well… shit.
It was definitely weird, hearing it like that. Hearing it from someone else, from someone outside the scope of my own professional life.
But when you looked at it that way…
“You really want me to stay?” I asked, cocking my head. “I mean, in all the times you’ve done this, you said you’ve never—”
“We haven’t,” Brody broke in. “But this situation…” he stopped himself. “No, not this situation. It’s you. You’re the one that’s different, Lauren.”
I looked around numbly, as if seeing the house for the first time. It looked even more amazing during the day, more sharp and clean and beautiful. My eyes lingered on the windows, the living area, on the couch where I’d straddled Mason. On the door to the master bedroom, where we’d—
“We could, of course, go easy on you,” Brody pointed out. “If you’re worried at all about—”
“Did I say I wanted you to go easy on me?”
Good fucking God. I couldn’t believe I’d said it!
“No,” he laughed.
“It’s not that part I’m worried about,” I confessed. “It’s my boss. It’s all the work I’d fall behind on…”
Corey and Brody were looking down now. I could sense their collective disappointment. But Mason’s expression was different. He seemed to understand as he caught my gaze, and nodded reassuringly.
“As someone in the business I get it,” he said. “You represent a lot of very important clients. Really big people, who rely on you.”
Very important clients…
Somehow the words struck a nerve with me. I felt a wave of irritation. No, not irritation. More like resentment.
Really big people.
I thought about my accounts, my projects, my work. Not one of them was big. Not one of them was monumentally important anymore, and there was a simple reason for that:
Lilith.
Every time I got a big name client, Lilith took over. Every time I represented someone exciting or landed an exciting new project, Lilith transfered the responsibility somewhere else.
She’d been taking my best work for a long time now, and leaving me the more tedious, boring minutia. And I’d done it. I’d accepted it, without protest, without any blow-back or resistance or even a single word of complaint.
No, I wasn’t doing anything important. And when I really thought about it, I hadn’t been for a long time.
“Okay,” I blurted abruptly. “I’ll stay.”
Corey and Brody’s heads snapped upward. Mason’s perfect mouth curled into a fiendish grin.
“Really?”
“Yes,” I said, somewhere between being abruptly pissed off and suddenly excited. “But on two conditions.”
Corey smirked and folded his arms. “Alright, let’s hear them.”
“One, no one goes easy on anyone,” I said slyly. “Last night was incredible. I want more of it, not less.”
“Done,” the three of them said in stereo. They did it so quickly, I couldn’t help but chuckle.
“And the other?” asked Brody.
“We spend a day driving out to Hollywood,” I said, my gaze shooting over to Mason. “I want to see what’s going on with you, your agent, your publicist. I want to know you’re being well taken care of.”
I shrugged again as their eyes went wide with surprise.
“Besides, I’ve never seen Los Angeles. And what’s better than having a movie-star escort?”
Thirty-Six
BRODY
“A week. Yes. A ‘whole week’, if that’s the way you need to put it. Seven more days.”
Her voice was terse. Testy. Like the person she was speaking to wasn’t someone she even liked, much less respected as her boss.
“Lilith, I’ve been with the firm over six years now,” Lauren reiterated. “This is my second vacation. No, not counting weekends. No, I’m not counting that either.”
I watched her grow stern, her brows knit more tightly together. She was beautiful to begin with — especially out here on the patio, basking in the desert sun. But she was even more gorgeous when she was angry.
“That was a business trip,” Lauren practically sneered. She was holding back, I could tell. But not much. “So what if I brought Rob? He paid his own way. I saw him on my own time, not the—”
She turned to look back at me, then made a gun with her fingers and pretended to blow her brains out. I threw back my head and laughed, causing her to laugh back, silently.
“No, I don’t want to talk about it. It’s personal. That’s all you need to know.”
Was it selfish of us, to ask her to stay? I didn’t think so. Then again, we’d never done this with anyone… ever. It had nothing to do with the rules, really. Corey and I had just never had the desire to see someone for this long.
And we sure as hell had never brought Mason into the mix.
I had to admit, it was amusing watching him. How disbelieving he was, even while it was happening. How utterly and totally blown away.
“Did that really happen?” he’d asked, when we woke up this morning. “I mean… how… how could—”
We talked it through over coffee, the three of us. It took an hour just to convince him the whole thing had been spontaneous. That Corey and I hadn’t set him up, in an effort to bring him over to what he called ‘the dark side.’
“Did you have fun?” Corey had asked him.
“Of course I did.”
“Would you want to do it again?”
We knew the answer right away, even if he didn’t. It was written in his eyes last night, watching intently as we shared her. His look had been just as hungry as ours, staring down at Lauren as she writhed beneath us. Getting off on just the visual of watching her, as she did anything and everything we wanted.
Hell, it was hotter than anything we’d done before. At first I couldn’t put my finger on it. I’d chalked it up to some kind of extra chemistry, or maybe a full moon. Whatever it was, it had supercharged our desire for her. Made it so that we wanted her again and again, even after we were finished, even after she was done.
But the more I ran it through my mind? The more I realized it was the person she was. She was smart, sweet, sexy. Totally wild and uninhibited in bed. Caring and considerate, but funny also. She had all of the greatest traits I’d ever looked for in a girlfriend, and none of the bad ones.
But beyond all that, she had this whole ‘innocent’ thing going on. Like she’d been trapped in a bubble, all throughout her marriage. Kept isolated from the world — frozen in time. Almost, sadly, to the point of chastity.
Yet the more we had of her, the more we wanted. And the more she came out of her shell, the hotter everything became. Lauren appealed to a sense of sexual awakening we hadn’t ever seen before, and she was eager to learn. She held nothing back, and was just as hungry for gratification as we were.
Shit, maybe even more.
Worst of all, we couldn’t stand the thought of her leaving. Of her just flying off to the other side of the country and not coming back again, after we were just really getting to know her. Asking her to stay went against everything we stood for. It went against every rule
we had, especially when it came to not getting attached.
But it was too late. We were already attached. And that was a whole different conversation I’d had with Corey, regarding how we were going to eventually peel ourselves away when the time came.
“We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it,” he’d told me. It was as lame an answer as he’d ever given. “But for now…”
I watched Lauren hang up, her expression still sour. She was staring down at her phone like she’d eaten something that disagreed with her.
“Boss give you a hard time?”
She sighed heavily. “You don’t know the half of it.”
“You must really love your job, then.”
She looked at me oddly. “What makes you say that?”
“To put up with all this,” I said. “For the sake of a few extra days vacation. I mean, don’t take this the wrong way but your boss sounds like a real asshole.”
Lauren laughed. “Oh she is. If she were any more of an asshole, she’d come with toilet paper.”
She took a step closer and flipped her hair over one shoulder. She did it so casually, too. Without any knowledge of how sexy the movement actually was.
“Well, I don’t want you to get in trouble,” I said, kicking myself as I said it. “I mean, you haven’t switched your flight yet. We could still get you to the airport in time, get you home. Make your boss into an even bigger asshole. Especially if this is going to hurt your career, or—”
“Are you trying to get rid of me?”
“Rid of you?” I grabbed her by the hips and pulled her against me. “Are you kidding?”
I could smell her now, freshly showered. Like raspberry body wash, or maybe watermelon. God, she was beautiful.
“Let me show you what happens if you stay…”
I kissed her, right there in the middle of nowhere. Right there with the sun beaming down on us, my hands exploring their way over the curve of her hips. My fingers crawling their way around her back…
Lauren kissed me back, nibbling playfully at my lower lip as our tongues clashed. It was molten… sizzling. A smoldering kiss on a scorching hot day. But beyond all her strength and bravado, I could feel the slightest hint of her body… trembling adorably beneath my touch.
