Reactively, a Vera Wang rep denied Grahn’s allegations. According to Styleite.com, a salesperson from Wang’s Melrose Place store had in fact told her to go buy a dress at David’s Bridal, which retails Wang’s lower-end offerings. “Our audience, they claimed, was not their targeted market,” the GH wardrobe maven wrote. “Never once did I ask to borrow any gowns from Vera Wang. Our intention was to purchase, NOT borrow, so it was insulting to be treated like I was asking for handouts.”

  • GH is reportedly casting the role of Shawn’s son, T.J., a 14-year-old African-American male who is “urban, rebellious, an appealing kid who masks it with a huge chip on his shoulder.”

One Life To Live, ABC – TKTKTK

  • Several leading men may be headed back to Llanview before One Life signs off. Uncensored is hearing that Roscoe Born, Brandon Buddy, John Wesley Shipp and possibly James DePaiva will be making brief returns.

  • Woohoo: One of my all-time fave actresses, Fiona Hutchison, will join her partner-in-crime Andrea Evans on One Life. The original baby-switching duo will more than likely share screen time, but nothing is confirmed at this time. With only three more weeks of taping left, Hutchinson will tape two days. The Emmy-nominated thespian wrote on Facebook: “Brace yourselves, I have some wonderful news to share with all of you. I am returning to One Life as Gabrielle.  I have two shooting dates. Keep in mind, these are not airdates, but shooting dates. The first shoot date is Tuesday, October 25th; the second shoot date is Tuesday November 15th. I Have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they have in store for Gabrielle. She is dead but with daytime, who knows? I swear I would tell ALL of you if I knew what was going to happen. I have no script as of yet.”

Look for an interview with La Hutchison shortly.

  • This just in: Robin Strasser is officially relocating to L.A. where the diva has a house, the Emmy winner tweeted recently. She cites the fact that Prospect Park has not contacted the actress to bring Dorian Lord to the online series. Dummies!

  • Currying in more diversity: Model and actress Teresa Patel has been cast as Neela Patel, Vima’s baby sis. Cool beans.

  • Hell froze over: Catherine Hickland is back as Lindsay on One Life! The outspoken actress, who went after Brian Frons online and in interviews, tweeted she’ll be back for the finale. Hurray! I pray Evans and Hickland share a scene together! FYI: Hickland was considered first as a Tina recast back in the day before she was cast as Linds.

  • Trevor St. John may not be on One Life but he’s busy promoting his new film, In The Family, which opens in New York City on Nov. 4 at the Quad Cinema. “I’m excited, “ he tells Uncensored in a rare interview. “I hope all my fans come see it. Our director Patrick Wang did a great job.” As for returning to One Life as our beloved Victor Lord Jr., St. John isn’t talking!

  • Terri Conn tells Soap Opera Weekly that she will not be making the jump to Prospect Park. Too bad — I’m really enjoying Aubrey and Rex!

  Venice, venicetheseries.com — NuSam, I Am!

  • Even web soaps suffer from recast-itis: Annika Noelle has replaced Gina Tognoni in the role of Sam. As previously reported, Tognoni had scheduling conflicts this season. Sam’s love interest, Van, has also been recast with another actor: Eric Martsolf will take over for Wes Ramsey, who was in Chicago filming the now-defunct Playboy Club.

  • Glee Alert: According to Crystal Chappell there is a musical in season three! Count me in.

  • Venice season three preview: “We added 70 pages more to this season,” reports Chappell. “We’re going to debut the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.”

  • What would Chappell say to herself to her younger self if she could: “Don’t sweat the small stuff; enjoy the journey,” she responds. “Whether or not you fail or succeed, you will follow through. Enjoy the ride!” What do Chappell’s kids, Jacob and Dylan, think of their lesbian icon mama? As teenage boys, that must count as major bragging rights, right? “They get it. Jake wants me to tweet things out to people on a rare occasion. We live in a very small town but I keep them in our own world. But they’re very tech savvy. They amaze me… and inspire me. One of my sons has his own website. And he teaches me stuff! They are very aware of Venice. They know their mommy and daddy work really hard. They were there on set during Venice recently for a few days… and let me tell you, when I say, ‘Roll ‘em,’ at my house now, there is silence in my house! Isn’t that fun? I can tell you that they are very proud of the show. Bits and parts, I let them watch.”

As teenage boys, does Chappell allow them to see the steamy sex scenes — literally? “My kids know that Lara and Ani are in love, but I don’t know if they are watching the sex scenes! Jake is so enamoured with Nadia… it’s very funny. He asks about Nadia all the time.” Get in line, buddy!

  • Is Susan Flannery directing again? “Yes,” answers Chappell. “She did an amazing job again.”

The Young and the Restless, CBS — Vangroovy with MTS!

  • Sean Kanan is thrilled to be back on set taping at Y&R. “I’m excited,” he tells Uncensored. “I have 18 tape days so far! Now that Melody [Thomas Scott] is back, Deacon is viable again.” There have been rumours that Kanan could jump back to B&B or even GH, but the actor shoots down the buzz. “GH won’t happen since my character is dead, but I would love to bring Deacon back to B&B, for sure. I love working with [show runner] Brad Bell. However, I’m happy to be on Y&R. My little hiatus worked out because I’m been touring with my cookbook, The Modern Gentleman: Cooking and Entertaining with Sean Kanan. And I’m already working on my second book, tentatively titled, The Modern Gentleman: The Handbook to Life.” How about The Modern Gentleman: The Handbook to Sex, Sean?

Seriously, is this a cookbook Deacon should own? “Deacon should sleep with this book,” chuckles Kanan on his alter ego!

Expect a series of books — and a possible TV show on the Modern Gentleman brand! Pick up a copy of the personal cooking memoir at amazon.com. I’m even mentioned in the tome. Visit his website here: https://seankananthemoderngentleman.com/

  • Melody Thomas Scott travelled to gorgeous Vancouver to appear on Entertainment Tonight Canada. And she still looks fantastic! In the segment, Scott revealed she’s already begun taping her highly anticipated return to “The Y&R.” Here’s the clip; enjoy!

  • Maybe show runner Maria Arena Bell should stay home more often! On Halloween, American Idol season three runner-up Diana DeGarmo will make her debut as Angelina, the Jersey girl daughter of mob boss Angelo (Mike Starr).

DeGarmo landed the role as Angelina by performing at the right place at the right time!

“I booked the part thanks to a performance of Hairspray I was in at the Hollywood Bowl in early August,” she explains in a new interview with AmericanIdol.com. “The right people from Y&R were in the audience and were pleased with my performance, and apparently they saw me as a perfect fit for the gum-smacking Jersey girl who can’t sing.”

Kill. Me. Now. For more on Bell’s reactive and accidental management and leadership style, check out this hilarious analysis by a fan: https://savetheyoungandtherestless.blogspot.com/2011/10/investigative-report-secrets-of-y-magic.html

  • If you read Uncensored, you’ve been well aware for over two weeks that Stacy Haiduk is back as everyone’s favourite deranged feline lover, Patty. How long is Haiduk sticking around? “You probably know more better than I do,” laughs the popular actress to me. “But what I do know is that I’m here for at least six months. I am just going to flow with the stream.” As for the re
veal that Patty as been masquerading as Gen’s maid, Myrna, Haiduk laughs: “Did you see my pussy on the TV?!” Yep. And you know how much I love pussy!

  • Multiple Emmy-winning TV vet Michael Learned is temporarily filling in for fellow Emmy winner Jeanne Cooper as Katherine, TV’s busiest and nosiest octogenarian! Turns out Cooper has been ill — and “has been in hospital for two-to-three weeks,” report co-stars. “The show overworking Jeanne hasn’t helped,” opines a mole.

  • Separated at birth? Ever since her stint on Loving, I’ve always been a fan of Jessica Collins… but can we rewrite her back story and make her Sharon’s sister, not Phyllis’s?! Collins is a mirror image of Sharon Case!

  • Some chaos this way comes…. Stay tuned.

Fan of the Week: Bonnie Lee

Known as StitchLady on Twitter, Lee earns Uncensored’s fan-of-the-week honour. So why does she love the suds so much? Lee explains: “Everyone on a soap is beautiful or incredibly handsome! Each character has no trouble reaching out to someone equally beautiful to spend “quality” time with (wink, wink!!). If they are charged with a crime, they always get off, even if they’re guilty. The mansions are beyond belief, or at least the rooms we get to see are, and redecorating is done without any fuss or muss. You gotta love that! They travel by private jet, and there isn’t usually any turbulence, unless of course the plane crashes, which happens all the time. But no one dies — they always survive. No one works much on soaps, but they seem to have a lot of money, and their bills are always paid. That’s why I love soaps!” And her granddaughter is pretty cute, too! Just ask Michael Muhney!
