“Are you serious?” William asked in disbelief.

Unique crawls over to the bed and climbs into the bed next to William. She began to rub the soft head of the cat suit on his leg while she purred. William stared in awe at what he was witnessing.

“Are you ready for me to bring you to ecstasy?”

  “Like that?” William exclaimed.

Unique sat up, removed the cat head, and looked at William.

“Yes. Trust me, you will enjoy it. It is something about the fur against your skin that can drive you wild.”

William sat there contemplating the fact he really wanted the orgasm he was so close to reaching but this furry cat suit was way too freaky for him. So, he sat there trying to determine if he was going to just go with it and picture how Unique was before the suit or if he was just going to abort the mission. He decided since he was almost to the finish line he might as well walk away from the experience satisfied.

“Get on all fours.” William instructed.

Unique winked and then complied. William approached Unique from behind. Through the opening in the suit he could see that she was extremely turned on. The wetness he witnessed between her legs had to be a sign as to how much she enjoyed dressing up. He thought to himself maybe there is some benefit to the craziness.

William entered Unique and once he was met with the warm juiciness of her sensual place he almost forgot about the furry tail rubbing up against his leg. He just got lost in the feeling of the waves Unique was sending up and down his shaft with the contracting of her walls, a trick that she clearly enjoyed doing and knew that it was pleasing to her partner. He started to feel the peak coming and completely forgot about the fur in his hands around her waist.

Unique leaned down opening herself up more to allow William to dive deeper into her pool. William’s stroke began to quicken as he chased the feeling of the end. He thrusted in and out of Unique feeling warmth running through his body. Before he knew it, he was experiencing his orgasm. He broke the connection between him and Unique and made his way to Unique’s ensuite bathroom.

Unique climbed off the bed still adorning her white cat costume, minus the head, and went to the bathroom door.

“You felt so good.” She said while twirling her white tail in her right hand.

William looked up from the sink and his uneasy thoughts made their way back to his mind. Was she serious? Did she really feel like that was romantic or a turn on? Was this something she did all the time? He had so many questions, and he felt like he may never get the answers. But then again, if he could get the answers, would he really want them. He really liked Unique and had started to see a future with her. But this situation with her tonight was way beyond his stretch of the imagination.

  “Thank you.” He finally responded.

Unique walked away and made her way back into the closet she had previously conducted her transformation. She reappeared wearing an olive-green silk robe which came mid-thigh for her. Her hair was pulled up in a messy bun on top of her head. Unique made her way back to the bathroom just as William was leaving out after cleaning himself. Unique took her turn and freshened herself as well. She was in sheer bliss and thought she could go for another slice of cheesecake right about now.

“Would you like some more cheesecake?” Unique called out to William.

After she didn’t get a response, Unique went back out to her bedroom. She found William standing in front of her built-in bookcase staring at the nine friends she held on top.

  “Everything ok?” She asked.

“Yea. I have to run though. Thanks for dinner and everything else.” William said heading to exit the bedroom.

“You don’t have to go if you don’t want to.”

“I appreciate it. But I have an early morning tomorrow, and it would be easier for me to be at home.”

William did not want to seem like a complete jerk, even though he knew his mad dash to leave probably did not give off the right impression, so he turned around and hugged Unique.

“Have a good night and make sure you get some rest.” He said.

Before letting her go, he placed a kiss on her cheek. Unique watched as William left. After hearing the front door close Unique smiled and went to the kitchen. She ended her night with a slice of cheesecake and a glass of Pink Moscato.

Over the next few days, Unique did not hear from William and her attempts to contact him were returned void. Unique could not figure out what the issue was and started to become concerned thinking something had happened to William. After calling William’s office and realizing he was fine because his receptionist advised he was in a meeting Unique decided to send William an email as her last effort to maintain a connection.

  William,

I am not sure what went wrong. I truly thought we were on a good path and I began to see a future with you. I opened myself up to you and wanted you to see who I truly was. You are an awesome man, and I felt you could be my partner in this life and we could complement one another. I thought we were at a place where we could discuss anything and if there was a problem I figured you would have come to me and advised me, letting me know there was an issue so I could address it. If I do not receive a response to this email then I will take that as you are finished with “us” and I will no longer attempt to contact you. If this is the end, I would like to say I wish you nothing but happiness and hope you enjoyed the time and moments we shared.

  Sincerely,

  Unique Vaughn

Unique sat and stared at the email reading and rereading it a few times before she eventually hit send. She knew once she sent that email it was the determining factor on whether the relationship she was hoping for had been buried with all the other failed ones of her past or if this was just a small bump in the road for them.

Beep beep…beep beep…beep beep. Andrea’s alarm goes off and Unique jumps from the unexpectant noise.

“I apologize Unique. I should have let you know about the alarm that sounds when we have reached our hour.” Andrea says responding to Unique’s startled look.

“Oh. I understand. Has it been an hour already? I feel like I did too much talking.”

Andrea removed her glasses and stopped the recorder.

“Not at all. Usually, the first couple of sessions are more of a ‘getting to know you’ discovery sort of interaction. I can’t start to help you unless I truly know what the issue is. There is only so much you can put on a Client Profile Sheet.”

Unique gathered her belongings and stood up. “That is true. I hope I did not bore you.”

“Not at all. I do want to ask a question though before we part ways today. Did William ever respond to your email? I feel like that is going to assist in preparing you for our next session.”

Unique looked down at her hands solemnly for a moment.

Softly she replied, “Yes, Ms. Charles, he did. That is why I contacted your office. I want to make sure something like this never happens again.”

  “What is it?” Andrea asked.

“Here was his reply.” Unique passed Andrea her cell phone which was opened to her email.

Unique, you are an amazing woman. But I don’t do cats.

  William

  “I understand,” Andrea said empathetically.

“Ms. Charles, I don’t want to be a furry anymore. The thought that I lost a good man like William because of it, I don’t want it to happen again.”

“Well, we will definitely dive deeper into this next week.” Andrea said to comfort her.

Unique walked towards the office door, “I look forward to it.” She said as she opened the door and walked through.

Unique stopped at Denise’s desk for a moment to schedule her next appointment.

“Nice meeting you Ms. Vaughn. We will see you next week.” Denise said as Unique walked out through the glass doors.

Denise looked back at Andrea, “So what the hell is a ‘furry’?”

“I am not going to tell you again, stop
reading the Client Profile Sheets, with your nosey self.” Andrea said.

“Hey, you told me to make sure they were filled out completely.” Denise said laughing.

“You are a mess. Can you get Brian on the phone for me?”

Andrea went back into her office and closed her door to wait for Denise to connect Brian through.

  Diversification

Andrea is standing in Macy’s trying to decide on a bathing suit for her upcoming trip to Jamaica. Despite her having nine already, it was a tradition for her to buy a new swimsuit anytime she went on vacation. It was a bit of a treat to herself since she did not take real vacations very often. The occasional day off to go to the spa or a quick weekend trip would hardly constitute a vacation. So, when Brian brought up the idea of them going to Jamaica for a week she could not pass it up.

To her this trip was more than just a vacation. It also symbolized them taking their relationship to the next level. The fact he was willing to travel with her for an extended period meant something because through her experience, most men did not travel with women like that unless they were in college or a committed, long term relationship.

Even her best friend, Rosalyn, told her this trip meant more than just a vacation. Despite all of that, Andrea did not want to seem too anxious or over-zealous and scare Brian away.

Andrea feels her cell phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulls it out and sees Brian’s face.

  “Hello.” she answers.

“Hey beautiful. I’m finishing up. Where are you?” Brian said.

“I’m in Macy’s. I can be done in a few minutes. Where do you want me to meet you?”

“You can meet me on the lower level by the food court. I’ll be by Fiesta Grill.”

  “Ok. I’ll be right there.”

Andrea grabbed her swimsuit she had decided on and made her way to the cashier. After paying, she hurried to find the escalator and made her way to the first floor. Rushing through the multitude of people in Northlake Mall, she finally saw Brian standing by the restaurant holding a few bags. They were trying to get all their last-minute items for their trip.

They were set to leave in four days and both were very organized and did not want to be rushing when the time to leave came. They joked about how they were both going to be packed a couple of days before they were set to leave and had checklists to ensure there was nothing forgotten.

“Hey beautiful. Did you get everything you needed?” Brian asked.

He reached for Andrea’s bags. He never allowed her to carry anything when they were out, except for her purse. He always told her that if she was with him, she did not have to do any heavy lifting.

“I did! I was able to check all the final things off my list.” They both laughed. “Did you get everything you were looking for?”

Brian lifted his bags and winked, “Sure did. There’s even a little something in here for you.”

“Let me see!” Andrea said grabbing at the bags.

“Now…now. You’ll see when we get to Jamaica. Hopefully, it goes well with your bathing suit.”

Andrea became confused at that moment. What in the world could he have gotten that would go with her bathing suit? Andrea felt her cell phone vibrate. She pulled it out and looked and saw it was Denise. She knew she had an appointment later today at three, but it was only 12:40 pm. She had plenty of time before she had to be back at the office.

“Hello. Is everything ok?” Andrea answered.

“Yes. Everything is ok with me. But your 3 o’clock called and asked if they could come at two instead. Something important came up, but they did not want to miss their appointment with you.” Denise stated, sounding slightly annoyed.

“Hold on.” Andrea muted her cell phone and turned to Brian. “Babe, I hate to do this, but my 3 o’clock wants to come at two instead. Do you mind?”

“No! Not at all. Duty calls. Besides, I’ll have you for a week in a few days so I can share now. Let’s grab you something to eat before we leave the mall.”

“Thank you.” Andrea said as she kissed Brian sweetly on the lips.

Andrea unmuted the call, “That’s fine Denise. Let Xandra and Yvette know I will see them at two.”

“Ok. I will let them know. See you soon.”

“Ok. See you when I get there. Can you do me a favor and turn on the oil warmer?” Andrea asked.

“Sure can. I already refilled the water and emptied your trash can. Those were the only couple of things you hadn’t done yesterday before you left.”

  “Denise, you’re fantastic!”

Denise snickered. “Of course I am. That’s why you keep me around.”

Andrea laughed. “Bye girl. Be there in about 45 minutes.”

Brian grabbed Andrea’s hand. “Come on. Let’s get you fed before you head off.”

“Hi, Andrea. I turned on the oil warmer and put some chamomile tea on your desk. Be careful because I’m sure it’s still hot.” Denise said as Andrea walked through the glass doors.

Andrea smiled at Denise. Sometimes she thought that girl could read minds.

“Thank you. I could go for some of that right about now.”

Andrea entered her office and everything was in perfect condition. She went into her private bathroom to complete her after lunch regimen before meeting with her next client. She flossed and brushed her teeth being sure to rinse with mouthwash. Afterward, she used the restroom and washed her hands. After drying her hands, she reapplied any parts of her makeup that needed to be touched up because it had faded from eating or whatever other extracurricular activities she engaged in while she spent lunch with Brian. She smiled softly as she looked at her reflection thinking about Brian. She then sprayed a little of her perfume on as she exited the bathroom.

Andrea gathered up her glasses, recorder, and timer as she headed over to her gray chair. Just as she placed her items down, she heard Denise come over the intercom.

“Ms. Charles, your 2 o’clock is here.”

“Thank you. I’ll be right there.” Andrea responded.

Andrea made her way to her office door and opened it to greet Xandra and Yvette. As usual, they were standing by Denise’s desk looking contemporarily fabulous. Xandra was 5’5” with short black hair cut into a close haircut. It was meticulously styled to the point where it looked as if she had a stylist who re-curled it every morning as she started her day. Her makeup was perfectly applied on her caramel complexion. She wore a black halter top, black joggers, and a pair of black strappy heels that dressed up her casual look. It was accented with a gorgeous necklace that sent beams of light onto the walls as the light reflected from it. Her ornate earrings to match completed her look.

Yvette was standing next to her holding Xandra’s right hand in her left and protecting Xandra’s purse in her right hand. Yvette was slightly shorter than Xandra but not by much. However, when Xandra wore heels just as she was wearing now, she appeared to be about two inches taller which Yvette complained about but knew she had to accept it. Yvette had her mid-back length dreads styled and pulled up into a neat bun at the crown of her head. She wore no makeup but had a creamy caramel complexion as well. She was stylishly dressed in a complimentary outfit of black slacks, black loafers, a gray V-neck t-shirt, and black blazer. She donned minimal jewelry but had a small white gold chain with a crucifix and small white gold hoops in her ears.

The Zamora’s were reminiscent of a couple you would see featured in Essence, highlighting the LGBT community and Black love. They were always flawlessly dressed and well put together. Andrea never saw them with a hair out of place.

“Good afternoon ladies. Come on in.” Andrea said as she greeted the married couple.

“Hi Ms. Charles.” the ladies said in unison.

They looked at each other and giggled. They often answered at the same time or finished each other’s sentences. Most of their friends and family said it must have been indicative of them being together for eleven years and married for seven.

p; Xandra and Yvette followed Andrea into her office. Andrea closed the door behind them as they entered and made their way to the grey couch. Yvette extended her arm allowing Xandra to find her place and get comfortable first before joining her on the couch.

“Baby, where would you like me to put your purse?” Yvette asked.

“You can put it on the coffee table. Thank you honey.” Xandra responded.

Before taking her seat, Andrea asked the Zamora’s if they wanted anything to drink. They both declined explaining they just had lunch.

“Thank you so much for agreeing to meet with us and making last minute changes to your schedule Ms. Charles. We certainly hope it was not an inconvenience.” Yvette stated.

“You are welcome. It was no inconvenience at all. My schedule was clear.” Andrea responded as she took her seat.

“We unexpectedly have to leave town and wanted to try to hit the road before rush hour traffic.” Xandra added.

“I hope everything is ok. But I understand.” Andrea said.

“Yes, everything is ok. We are going to visit my mother in Alabama. My sister waited till the last minute to inform me of a surprise birthday party she was throwing for mom, so we nearly had to drop everything and go.” Yvette said.

“Ok then. At least it is a happy occasion. Are you ready to get started?” Andrea asked.

“Yes.” the ladies responded in unison and smiled.

Andrea hit the record button, “So, where do we stand today?”

  Xandra and Yvette’s Story:

Xandra and Yvette met on the college campus of Butler University in Indianapolis. At the time they were both in their Senior year, and they were enrolled in the same Marketing course that was required for graduation. They had always been cordial in speaking to one another but was able to get to know one another better after being paired together to work on a Marketing presentation. After exchanging numbers and spending time with one another they both discovered they were lesbians. Xandra had decided against dating in college after a tumultuous relationship in her freshman year, and Yvette had recently ended a relationship during the summer break which had passed.
