“You need to be happy that our cum filled that hole of yours, boy,” Andre growled.

I looked at him and smiled. “Oh, I am, but you don’t have cum sticking to your asshairs right now.”

Andre laughed. “Not right now, no.”

My eyes bulged at that statement. He had said it so casually that I was even more curious about what had happened between them when I wasn’t around. “I want to watch from a chair while I jerk off, that’s all I’m saying.”

“It will be my pleasure to watch you do so while I fuck Andre.” Raphael smiled, then turned and walked over to the first pile of bodies from our feeding. The fact that Andre hadn’t objected really surprised me. Anyway, I let it go… for now, and watched Raphael as he disposed of the bodies. He didn’t have to aim his hand when he began to ash the bodies, and that was a show of how much stronger we had become just in the past forty-eight hours.

Andre walked over to the other bodies, of the demons Ade had fed on and he ashed them without aiming his hand. I was impressed and now I saw why King Adriel was so invested in making sure our triumvirate was one cohesive unit. We were more powerful when we were in sync. When we were in love. Because that was what it boiled down to. I saw the look on Andre’s face when he was worried about Raphael. He loved Raphael, and whatever had transpired between them had made that love grow stronger. I just wished I had been there to see it. Fuck, I bet it was hotter than the fires of the eighth level of hell.

I went into the bathroom, remembering where it was, and quickly cleaned my asshole and chest off. I stretched, feeling like a million dollars. Damn, Vahiel was one badass motherfucker. I didn’t think we would have any chance at winning this war without him. I returned to the living room and got dressed, then looked around. “Where do you think Vahiel keeps his dustpan and broom?”

Raphael chuckled. “He probably doesn’t even use one, but if he did have cleaning supplies, it might be in the utility closet toward the kitchen.”

I nodded and walked toward the kitchen and saw a door to my right. I opened it and hit the jackpot. There was a cordless vacuum and steam mop. I grabbed the vacuum and headed back into the living room to suck up all the ash. It didn’t take long to clean up his fancy ass home. I returned the vacuum to the closet and walked over to my mates who were in a conversation, bringing Raphael up to date on what had happened while we were in death’s abyss. I also noticed that Andre was wearing a black t-shirt, no doubt “borrowed” from Vahiel’s closet. I hoped the lord didn’t mind.

“It was fortunate that Nakai was with you, and you did very well fighting,” Raphael said after he listened to Andre tell him about how he’d killed the demons in the sewer. “And you said that afterward, everything went to hell the world over? The total death count is going to be a problem. We’re going to have a hard time clearing up the demonic image after this.”

“Maybe,” Andre said. “The cameras were out there capturing demons saving lives, helping humans. There is a clear distinction that some demons are good and some are evil. As long as we continue to do that, we will overcome this.”

“Not if we don’t kill Katashniel. That son of a bitch is the demon of chaos, this is his game.”

“His days are numbered, maybe even his hours,” Raphael said.

“Let’s ho—” my voice was cut off by the building shaking all around us. “What the fuck!” I gasped as turned this way and that seeing items shaking on the shelves and tabletops.

“Is that a bomb?” Andre asked, then he walked over to the window to see what he could.

“No, it’s someone trying to tear down the wards to this place,” Raphael said.

The building shook again, and I had to grab on to a column to keep from falling. This time, pictures fell off the wall and items toppled over, some falling to the floor and breaking.

“Shit, are they going to be able to do it?” I asked.

“Not with us here. We need to kill these demons,” Raphael said.

I wasn’t surprised that he would be on the offense at this point. Hiding behind a ward when under attack wasn’t his thing. Me… I’d wait to see if the wards were knocked down, then I’d be ready to kick ass. Like when the castle gets stormed and I have to fight. Raphael was the motherfucker who lowered the drawbridge and walked out there all badass with sword in hand, ready to cut a bitch.

“Let’s go,” he said. Andre and I came closer so he could teleport with us. I did wonder if he’d be able to teleport more than four beings at one time since Andre could do four. That would have to be tested later. For now, we stood face-to-face with four demons at the front door of Vahiel’s tower.

“Let us split up and take them,” Raphael said, then he vanished.

Andre and I teleported in front of the demons casting their spell to break through the wards. I didn’t bother to say anything, I just opened my Agoto up to them, as did Andre and Raphael, who had teleported behind them. Our combined attack was so quick, they didn’t have time to flee before we sucked down their souls. The orgasms that followed were amazing as always when demons were the feast. I was so damn happy that I still had that potion in me to protect me from the spell the shaman had used to take me out. There really wasn’t any telling if all of Katashniel’s army was loaded like that. I didn’t want to take any chances.

Once we had dispatched them, we returned to Vahiel’s living room to see that he was standing there with Lord Oria, Queen Dalani, and another demon whom I didn’t know. The demon looked to be about five-nine, slender, but I could tell he was athletic in his build. His features were almost androgynous, as pretty as a woman’s. Green eyes, long black lashes, full lips that had the nerve to be shaped like a bow. He looked at Raphael, Andre, and I with a keen interest, then his eyes settled on Raphael and I could see lust lingering in his gaze as he watched my mate.

  “Problems?” Vahiel asked.

Raphael sauntered over there to him. “Nothing we couldn’t handle.” He looked at Lord Oria and bowed his head. “My Lord.”

“My troublesome Agoto. You had me… slightly concerned when you slipped into your death state. A powerful Agoto like you would have been a waste had you perished,” Lord Oria said, and I could see immediately why Raphael was creeped out by her. There were eons of wisdom in her eyes, which happened to be the eyes of a child, which was the epitome of innocence. Not only that, but sheer menace radiated from her.

“Thank you for getting me to Vahiel so quickly, my Lord,” Raphael said.

“Yes, of course,” Lord Oria said with a wave of her hand. I guessed that exchange was the closest one got to seeing the softer side of the Lord. Well, you took what you could get.

Raphael smirked, then looked at the other demon who was standing beside Oria. “Somani, it’s been a while,” he said with a grin.

“Too long, you Italian bastard,” Somani said and he reached over, taking Raphael in his arms and then he kissed him, tongue and all. I had to keep my mouth from hitting the floor, because I had not seen that coming. He grabbed a handful of Raphael’s ass, giving it a good squeeze before releasing him.

I coughed, because… umm, that ass belonged to Andre and me, while he was over there getting handsy. “Care to introduce us?” I blurted.

Raphael turned around and there was a sly expression on his face, so I cocked my eyebrow at him. He laughed. “Somani is an old friend. I met him through Saleah.”

“Old enough to have a very intimate history,” Somani said.

“Yeah, I get it, you’re former fuck buddies,” I snapped.

Lord Oria giggled in her childlike voice. “Oooh, that one is catty. No fear, just jealousy,” she said, pointing at me.

“No need to be jealous of me, dearie. The last time I had Raphael’s cock inside of me, the slaves were being emancipated and America was caught in a Civil War,” Somani said. “Besides, I’m in a relationship with a very handsome human who has quite the cock to satisfy my thirsty hole. I’m no threat.”

  “I never thought you we
re,” I shot back.

“Retract your claws, boy,” Andre commanded, and the submissive inside of me was aroused by his words, my cocked jumped in excitement. But ultimately, I did as he told me.

“Brian, Somani is an old friend, first and foremost, and he is here to help. He’s an Elegarate,” Raphael said. “Dial it back, baby.”

I nodded. “I’m sorry.” Yep, the submissive in me also enjoyed Raphael’s gentle dominance as well. In my mind, I could see them both fucking me with Raphael beneath me, his cock gliding along Andre’s inside of my hot, anal passage. Andre pumping me with a ferocious rhythm while pulling my hair and Raphael working my nipples until I screamed for permission to cum. Oh, god… my cock was raging just from not only the memory of us fucking like that last week, but the fantasy of us fucking like that again. Man, we really needed to get rid of Katashniel so I could go back to life as normal.

Anyway, I’d digressed. Fact of the matter was, they were right, I didn’t even know where my jealousy had come from. Probably because I hadn’t had a chance to properly be with my mates in days, which felt like weeks. I looked at Somani. “I’m sorry,” I apologized to him this time, because I was a little bit out of order… just a little. I mean, he did kiss Raphael in front of me and grabbed his ass like I wasn’t standing there.

Somani laughed. “You’re my knight, sir. Perhaps I was the only one out of line. I didn’t know you were mated. Besides, I like the feisty.” He winked. “So, I’m sorry.”

“Well, I was about to make introductions, but I think that’s been handled. Now that we have gotten over that hill, it’s time to go,” Vahiel said.

“Wait, who is this sexy piece of chocolate right here?” Somani asked, gesturing toward Andre.

“Another one of my mates you should keep your eyes off of. His name is Andre,” I said.

  Somani laughed again. “Very well.”

“And who’s this, she’s been awfully quiet?” Andre asked, pointing to Queen Dalani.

“Nice to be acknowledged,” the queen said. “My name is Queen Dalani of Fourth Hell.”

“I decided to visit the queen before returning. I was hoping to give you more time to… take care of your needs and to not waste time,” Vahiel said as his reason for not waiting for us to visit the queen.

“Congratulations on being newly crowned. Do you think you’ll face any rebellion from your queendom, Your Majesty?” Raphael asked.

I actually saw Dalani blush, a slight darkening of her already beautiful cocoa skin. I couldn’t really blame her, Raphael knew how to turn on the charm when he wanted to. I would have to be honest, Dakkar and I really didn’t pay her much respect when we had first met, so being acknowledged as royalty from a knight of Raphael’s caliber must have made her day.

“I don’t expect for us to meet any, but if we do, I will get them inline, Sir,” Dalani said, giving Raphael his respect.

“Was it easy to get her to come?” I asked. “I was curious to see if she was keeping to her promise to serve our king. I was the knight that threatened to kill her earlier today after all.”

Vahiel looked at Dalani and she stiffened just a little, and that let me know she hadn’t put up any fight whatsoever. Wise on her part. “Very,” was all he said.

Dalani wasn’t about to piss off Vahiel. I guessed today just wasn’t her day, hell, it wasn’t anyone’s day. Well, it was kind of our day because progress had finally been made. We just needed to capitalize.

“Vahiel, before we go, do you have any weapons we can use to help defend the portal?” Raphael asked.

“You are a weapon,” Vahiel stated with a smirk.

“Even more effective with a weapon in addition to ourselves. As you know, it does drain us Agotos to use our fire powers. Even more so than our teleportation,” Raphael stated.

Vahiel sighed and walked away only to return a few minutes later with three daggers with twelve-inch blades. He handed one to Raphael, Andre, and then myself. “These are enchanted, strong enough to kill a lord and an Agoto, so be careful that they are not used on you. You can stab a demon in the leg and they will die, but it’ll take longer than if you stabbed them in their heart.”

“Can you make it so that they won’t kill us?” I asked.

Vahiel shook his head. “You will have to make sure that they aren’t used against you. The spell used on them can’t be selective if the daggers are to kill a lord.”

Well shit, that was just extra stress I was going to have on my shoulders during battle. I was going to make sure I kept this dagger in my hand at all times.

“Okay, now that we all know each other and are prepared, let’s go. You will have to travel with me while I search for the portal,” Somani said. “Gather around and hold hands.”

We did just that and I felt my body tingle as we teleported, guided by Somani to god knew where. This was going to be interesting.

  CHAPTER THREE

  Raphael

It wasn’t often I felt nausea while teleporting, but I had a wave of it flushing through me now that I was at the mercy of Somani. It was a long ride, what normally took a second or five was taking over a minute, and I wondered how much longer it would take until Somani found a suitable portal to Fourth Hell. Another minute passed before we stopped, and I stumbled back once my feet hit solid ground. I caught myself on a tree and had to lean against it until I got my sea legs back.

My two mates were less fortunate than I was and both ended up on their hands and knees, vomiting. Queen Dalani was leaning against a tree; she looked to have been able to handle the teleportation even better than I had. It made me wonder just how old she was.

As for my mates, Vahiel walked past them, not caring about their sickness. “It’ll pass,” he said, which was as much sympathy as they were going to get from him. He made his way to where Somani had wandered off to. They both stood before a large leafless oak tree with twisting roots coming out of the ground that looked as haunting as it did gothic. Queen Dalani joined them, as they were going to need her blood to open the portal, I was sure. Besides, she had to escort Vahiel to her Hell.

Thankfully, my stomach began to settle and I righted myself against the tree, but kept my distance from Vahiel, Dalani, and Somani. Oria was walking around, checking the parameter, never letting her guard down.

I walked over to Brian and Andre, kneeling down beside them. “Are you two all right?”

Brian shook his head. “The world is still spinning. What the fuck?” he panted, then another wave hit him and he vomited a bit more before dry heaving.

Andre fell onto his side and closed his eyes. “I just need… I just need… a minute.”

“Why… why do I feel like this?” Brian asked.

“Because Somani traveled far and long with us in his teleportation. His power took us over for a time,” I said.

“You didn’t get sick,” Brian noted.

“Oh, I felt bad when we landed. I’m older than the both of you, so I could handle it better. As you see, the others were unaffected,” I said.

Brian turned a little to see that it was true as both lords, the queen, and Somani himself went about their business. “Lucky them, ugh.”

I rubbed his back. “Just breathe, it’ll pass soon. We need you both on point.”

I stood up and kept watch over them until they recovered. If we were going to be attacked, we needed to be alert. I turned to see Somani cutting himself and letting his blood pour into a sacrificial bowl. One of the items Vahiel had with him in his little satchel. He then cut Vahiel and Dalani, and both let their blood flow into the bowl. He pulled out a pouch from his pocket and sprinkled the contents inside the bowl, then he began a chant. While chanting, he walked around the tree, pouring the contents of the bowl on the ground to form a circle. Vahiel and Dalani stood back, allowing him to do his thing. There was some more chanting, of which I understood, and the blood that had been dripped onto the ground glowed bright red, sealing the circle.

  Andre and Brian stood
up, fully restored. “Do you think we’ll be attacked?” Brian asked me.

I nodded. “If Vahiel said we will, then we most likely will. Keep your guard up.”

I looked around, then pointed to where I wanted them to keep sentry. My mates didn’t put up a fuss, which I didn’t expect them to. We had to protect Somani and not allow any attack to come to him. It took a lot for an Elegarate demon to open a portal, and it took a very powerful one to keep it open for any length of time. If the portal closed, Somani would be too weak for a time to re-open it. And even if we got another Elegarate demon to cast another spell to open it, the energy it took to breach the portal would need to regenerate and I wasn’t entirely sure how long that would take. Bottom-line, it was out of the question.

Brian held his weapon at the ready, his guard stance on point as was Andre’s. Both had come a long way in their training and I was very proud of them. They took their posts and kept their eyes peeled for any unwelcomed demons. I heard a loud crack and it shook me a little, so I turned to see a split in the large oak tree open up.

“Try not to take forever, Vahiel,” Somani warned.

“How much time can you give me?” Vahiel asked.

“Two hours at the most, so don’t press your luck, or you’ll be stuck in there for at least twenty-four hours,” Somani said. Ah, so, it would not take a full day. We had to keep that portal open at all costs. A bright red light glowed from the slit and Vahiel and Dalani walked through the hole, leaving Brian, Andre, Somani, and me, along with Lord Oria to wait for their return.

I hoped that by having the queen by his side, he would be able to find the stones and get out of there in no time. We’d just have to see. Like Nasini had said, there could be unrest. Just because a new demon had taken the crown didn’t mean he or she wouldn’t be challenged for it. Some might see her ascension as a betrayal, like Katashniel had with King Adriel. When he killed his father, the old king of Eighth Hell, he may have faced one or two demons who had refused to bow to him. He killed them as well, then did the ritual and took the oath all royalty must take. He sealed his union with the lords, then returned to this plane. Another thing some of the demons didn’t like, hence the reason we were at war now.
