Loving Shade Page 12

The tip of his erection pushes in.

  He stops.

  “More please,” I beg.

  He doesn’t move.

“What do you want from me, Tara?”

His voice is soft and serious.

  “Besides now?”

  “Yes.”

I pause as I weigh my words.

“I want all of you Shade... I don’t want anyone else.”

He kisses me on my shoulder, so soft my skin vibrates beneath his touch, and then rolls his hips and drives his hardness inside me.

“That’s all I wanted to hear,” he murmurs.

He slides his erection into me again, and my body shivers with delight. Then he slams into me, touching a sensitive spot inside me.

He rubs it with each move, making the tension grow inside me, pushing me near the edge.

His body moves on top of mine as I tilt my hips up to meet his thrusts.

“I love it, baby,” I murmur in a trance.

He flicks his tongue over my skin trailing the side of my neck, his hand traveling to one of my breasts, kneading it harshly.

  Pleasure barrels through my body.

His fingers keep pressing and stroking my clit.

  “That’s... oh... Shade... ”

My moaning swallows my words as he starts to slams into me, tipping me over that edge fast. Drowning in mind-blowing pleasure, I writhe beneath him.

Still in me, he stops moving. Panting, I press my face against the cold, crisp sheet, my skin hot and sweaty.

He slides his hand under my hair, brushes it away from my neck, and starts blowing on my heated skin, cooling it off.

  “Lean on me,” I say.

He lets more of his weight on top of me, his chest pressing against my back.

  “That’s good,” I murmur.

He pulls back and then thrusts, slowly, my core wet from my arousal.

I roll my hips, and do it again, harder this time. He grunts. Sensually entangled, we move in perfect synch with each other.

Hard as steel, he throbs inside me. I bring my hand back, grab his neck, and arch my back, pushing my bottom out.

  “That’s it, baby...”

His voice rumbles, low and raspy, his breath searing my shoulder. He pushes off mine, and I flick my head to look at him.

  “Up,” he says, smiling.

Flushed, he stands next to the bed, his eyes sparkling with lust, one hand curled around his hardness, the other motioning me to push upright.

I push up on all fours. He grips my hips, sets the head of his erection at my entrance and in one smooth motion, fills me up.

Within moments, he starts pounding me.

  Hard.

“Oh...” I burst out, and he slows down.

  “No. Don’t stop.”

He resumes his rhythm, his hands molding on my backside as I push back against his thrusts.

He hammers me, his chest vibrating with rumbling groans.

His hand slips to my back, slides along my spine, threads into my hair, and pulls it all back. I arch my back and tilt my head up while he keeps pummeling me.

Breathing hard, I start to moan, scaling up quickly.

His force increases as his rhythm hastens.

I teeter on the edge, my heart exploding in my chest, my lungs pumping for more air before he shatters me to pieces.

He pulls out of me when I collapse on the bed, his cum shooting all over my back.

Pulling my legs together, I clench and rub my thighs, his cum dripping on my butt cheeks.

Moaning softly, I keep moving slowly, relishing that sensation.

  “You’re such a puttana.”

His voice brims with a smile.

“I had a good teacher,” I say, turning my head to him, grinning.

He pulls me into his arms and carries me to the bathroom while I curl my hands around his neck and try to catch his gaze.

My smile withers away as we lock our eyes.

“You’re really good to me, Shade.”

Flashing a mysterious smile, he kisses me gently before he lowers me into the tub.

  TARA

“To your side, Tara. To your side,” he shouts, his voice fading in the background, a brief life review flashing in front of my eyes as the slope seems to get steeper by the second.

  “Uphill.”

I finally manage to do as he says, lean to my side and plop lifeless in a heap of snow.

He stops short of me, doing a parallel turn, his posture perfect, his skin glowing, his teeth and eyes sparkling in the sun.

As he comes to a full stop, he covers me in snow.

“You did good,” he says, his chest rocking with laughter.

Meticulously, I pull my sunglasses off and spit out snow.

“Listen... Mr. Smart Ass. Don’t shoot all over me. Not here. And not cold snow, anyway. All right?”

More laughter falls from his sensual lips while I barely suppress a chuckle.

  He stretches his hand out.

“Can you stand? I’ll take you between my legs. Sorry... I mean we can ski together with you between my legs,” he says, unable to keep his face straight.

  “Ha, ha. It’s not funny.”

I grip his hand, pretending that I want to rise and midway, I slide back to the ground, using my weight to take him down. He tumbles over me and rolls to his back while I land on top of him.

  “Gotcha,” I say, smiling.

I take my gloves off, and trail his face with my fingers brushing away the snow from his lashes and his cheeks.

The sunlight drops in his eyes, diluting their color to a surreal pale green.

“Yeah, you did get me,” he says seriously. “You’re very talented.”

  “Just not at skiing.”

His lips curve into an amused smile.

“Yeah... Sliding, yes, skiing not so much,” he says, his hand slipping out of his glove as well before he cups my face.

  I lean to him.

Our faces touch, cold. Our lips lock, hot.

“Mmm, I like this better,” I say relishing his touch, the scent of winter and his aftershave.

We spend a few moments frozen in that beautiful patch of time as if the whole world has come to a stop.

“You’ll enjoy skiing once you learn how to do it. I’ll teach you,” he mutters, a tender smile gleaming in his eyes.

I give him another kiss, and then I push off him, helping him rise as well.

For the next couple of hours, he teaches me how to ski, and I do my best to learn from his lessons, managing to trail him on the bunny slope.

He plants me on the terrace of the cabin and goes skiing on the expert-only trail for another hour.

Skies off, I stretch my legs and curl my fingers around a mug of steaming, hot chocolate.

My eyes turn to the horizon.

As the sun gets ready to set, I take in the view, the beauty of the scenery, my heart flooded with happiness.

I’ve never been so far away, and yet this place feels like home.

  TARA

We raid the chocolate shops for a couple of hours before we head back home. It’s been five days since we’ve arrived and it’s almost time to go back.

I glance at Shade as he steers the car back onto the road.

Like me, he looks happy and relaxed. His blue-green eyes harbor a smile, his face framed by his blonde hair, his skin glowing with a light tan.

As he tells me stories about his childhood and the time he spent here with Chad and his grandparents, I easily envision him as a little boy, curious, and full of life. Restless.

“Have you spent time here during the summer too? It must be beautiful,” I say.

“Yes, I have. We’ve spent a few Christmases here. Our Christmas time is when it’s summer here. It looks great. Perhaps, we’ll come back here some other time...” he says, glancing out the window.

I can’t help but notice that it’s the first time he mentions the future.

&
nbsp; Our future.

“But before we do that, I’ll need to take care of something,” he says.

  Suddenly his eyes turn guarded.

“Are you going to be okay when we go back home?” I ask.

A shadow flits through his eyes.

“Yeah... Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.”

I swing my eyes away from him as I shift my focus to my own situation.

  His hand slips onto mine.

He glances at me and does a double take as if he senses that something’s wrong.

“Don’t worry. I’ll help you. I know that you want to start something on your own.”

“Yes, I do. But I have to do it by myself. Besides, you have enough problems without mine.”

“Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine. You’ll see,” he says with unwavering confidence.

We spend the rest of the trip in silence, my eyes wandering over the frosted scenery outside as the evening sets in.

He brings the car to a smooth stop in front of the house, a beautiful view filling our sight. The light of the lit windows pierces the fabric of the night, the lights glowing over the lake.

We exit the car and walk toward the house, fresh snow crunching under our boots.

An hour later, we sit at the dinner table, lit candles casting a soft glow around the room.

We taste bits of food from each other’s plates.

Fugazzeta de Verdura, a stuffed vegetable pizza, and Chancaca-glazed salmon with pineapple salsa.

The desserts, Dulce de Leche Pionono and Chocolate Alfajores, tickle my taste buds with their sinful decadence.

The food, freshly cooked and delivered by a local caterer is absolutely delicious.

“You want another hot chocolate?” he says, tempting me.

  “Yes.”

A few minutes later he brings two mugs of hot milk with thick pieces of dark chocolate served on the side.

“This is El Submarino, Argentinian hot chocolate,” he says sinking his chocolate into the milk and stirring it with a teaspoon.

I mirror his move, and soon, the chocolate starts melting, the swirl coloring the milk.

  I take a sip.

“Mmm, this is good. Is there something else in the milk?” “ A bit of vanilla and sugar,” he says, his eyes gleaming with a smile.

I drink some more, the silky texture of the melted chocolate coating my mouth.

“It must have been really nice here when you were a kid.”

  “It was,” he says, nostalgic.

“Interesting...” I say, placing the mug on the table.

  “What’s interesting?”

“I can imagine you living here. Now I know why you were longing to be out of that boarding school. How come your parents let you come down here?”

“My father was always traveling, and my mom didn’t care much. She hated the idea of showing up in her circles with a kid in tow. That’s precisely why she didn’t like to be called ‘mom’ either. It was hard for her to adjust. The truth is, she never adjusted. Besides, my parents knew Chad’s family well. They knew that I was in good hands. Our dads were partners in a few businesses, but that was a long time ago. They’re no longer keeping in touch as they used to.”

“Hmm... I would’ve never imagined you and Chad, rock climbing and horseback riding in Argentina,” I say, smiling.

  “Why not?”

He brings his mug to his mouth, partially hiding his grin.

“What did you imagine us doing together?” His question takes me by surprise.

  He looks at me, amused.

I press my palms against my face to hide a blush.

  “Hmm?”

  “I, um… I don’t know,” I mutter.

He places his mug on the table and cocks his head to the side, a questioning look flickering across his face.

“Yes?” he insists. “You can’t say it, can you?” he asks teasingly.

  I shake my head.

He leans back into his chair as well, folds his arms across his chest, his shoulders outlined by his soft T-shirt.

His eyes narrow, still dancing with a smile.

“Yes…” he murmurs, gauging my reaction as he speaks. “We did fuck together if that’s what you have in mind.”

I look down at my mug, averting my eyes, unable to control the muscles that pull my lips into a stupid smile. The silence makes me raise my eyes. His eyes drill me with curiosity.

“Not women that meant something though,” he says.

His teeth scrape his lower lip as if he ponders over something.

“That’s not what I had in mind,” I say, rushing with an explanation.

“What did you have in mind, then?”

He lifts his chin up, his eyes scorching me, so hot.

He smiles, and I just can’t keep my lips sealed, and my expression in check.

“I mean... yeah. I guess, in a sense that’s what I had in mind.”

Every word coming out of my mouth prompts a soft tilting of his chin as he offers silent encouragement to spill it out.

I look away for a moment trying to wipe the smile from my face, and then I swivel my head back, my eyes connecting with his.

He lifts his eyebrows, terribly amused, and my composure goes right out the window.

“I’m sorry... Yes, it did cross my mind.”

  “Because?”

Oh fuck. It looks like I’m going down the rabbit hole. I wish I could find an elegant way out of this. I finally pull myself together.

“It’s just that you seem so comfortable with each other... and...”

  “And?”

“I know he walked in on us. Back at the apartment. That night.”

He cocks his head to the side, biting the inside of his cheek as I relive that memory.

Flushed, and sweating, I feel my throat dry.

“At the bar,” I add. “I knew it was him when I heard his footsteps.”

“Hmm... And I was convinced you were so sucked… Oh, wait. That was me,” he says, his chest shaking with laughter.

  “Shade.”

“What?” His hands shoot up in the air. “It’s a true story.”

I can’t hold it back anymore, and I laugh as well.

He pulls out of his chair and stretches his hand out for me. I push to my feet.

We lace fingers as he walks me to the terrace.

“What are we doing?” I ask.

A shiver races down my back as the frigid air licks my skin.

“We’re getting into the hot tub.”

He sheds his clothes and slips into the water. Under my eyes, he sinks into the steamy water, leans back against the edge and stretches his arms, tilting his head back.

“Come here,” he says, motioning me to join him.

I shimmy out my clothes and slide into the water. His arms loop around me, pulling me in front of him. My back glues to his chest as the hot water grows to the base of my neck. His hands rest on my shoulders.

The lake stretches in front of us, its darkness blending with the starry sky. I prop my head against his shoulder, his arms folding across my chest.

  “So... about Chad,” he says.

I jerk against him, prompting his arms to tighten around me.

“How do you know it was him? It could’ve been your friend,” he murmurs in my ear.

  “I would’ve known. Trust me.”

“And yet, you didn’t stop,” he says.

  I freeze.

“I think it turned you on… Being watched by him,” he mutters, his lips tracing my neck, his hands stroking my breasts.

  Turning me on.

  Even more.

“This is not fair,” I say.

“Who says it has to be fair?”

“I think it turned you on too,” I say, turning the tables on him.

  His answer comes promptly.

  Bluntly.

“Yes, it did. I told you that we fucked women together, and it’s quite a turn on to see each other fucking.

His hands slip down my stomach and then between my legs, nudging them apart.

“What about you? Why did it turn you on?” he asks, his fingers tracing my sex, gently massaging my clit.

I move my body slightly, rolling my hips against his hand.

“It was unexpected... and... um... I didn’t think much when it happened.”

Slowly he curls a couple of fingers and slips them into me. His erection presses against my lower back.

“You were so hot,” he rasps, his breaths getting heavier, his cock stirring.

“Can you imagine sucking my cock, and getting filled up at the same time?”

The image hits my mind, pushing me off the edge, a storm spinning inside me.

He holds me tight against his body as I jerk against him.

I shake through the last bit of pleasure and try to catch my breath.

I turn to him. His eyes are closed. His chest is heaving. I glide my hand up his erection.

  He pulses in my grip.

  “You’re so...”

“Irresistible?” he says, amused, cracking an eye open.

“That was so wrong,” I say, smiling.

  “Fucking your brain?”

“Yeah... okay. If that’s what you want to call it.”

He rises to his feet, his cock jutted out.

“I’d have you suck me off here, but I don’t want you to catch a cold,” he says, his arms curling around my legs and back, pulling me out of the water.

  “You’re such a romantic,” I say, chuckling.

  “I am, aren’t I?” he says, laughing.

We dry off our bodies and enter the house.

Moments later, we slide onto the soft bed, entangled, his arms wrapped around me, his lips hungry for me, my heart and body hooked on his.

He loves me soft and gentle, and then he loves me hard.

He’s the best lover I could’ve had, and I can’t get enough of him. The night slips through our fingers as we insatiably make love until we finally fall asleep.

  Sated. Happy.

  SHADE

She glances at me from behind the wheel as I walk out of the bank.

I stop briefly at the top of the stairs and light up a cigarette, furtively stealing glances at her.

Her face glows, her eyes hidden behind a pair of fashionable, dark sunglasses.

She waves at me and smiles while the window goes down.
