His Desire Page 11

by Lizzie Lioness

Still naked from the night, I got up and grabbed a robe to put on, before I made my way into the lounge area. I smiled when I found Kai sitting on the couch with the phone to his ear.

“It’ll have to be tomorrow. No, I’m busy today.”

Straddling him, I pushed him back against the couch. Still allowing him to talk, I placed my lips on the crook of his neck, biting down before lightly sucking the flesh.

“Ahhh,” he moaned. “No. Nothing. I just got distracted. Yes, two days from now.” I continued trailing kisses from his neck to his jawline. “I gotta go. I’ll talk to you later.” Storm hung up the phone before throwing it onto the couch. He grabbed my face and melted our lips together. “Mmmm,” he breathed. When he broke the kiss, Kai was smiling at me. “Good morning, gorgeous.”

My eyes narrowed at him. “Morning? What time is it?”

“Just after five am,” he replied.

“I got up and you weren’t in bed,” I whined, biting my lip.

“Sorry, beautiful. I had a work call.” Kai wrapped his arms around me tight, and I felt safe. I love the way he holds onto me, like he doesn’t want to let me go.

“That’s okay. You’re busy today?” He smiled at me. I only asked because of the phone conversation. I want to spend time with him.

“My day’s full,” Kai could see the disappointment in my expression. “Spending it with you,” he continued. I decided to tease him.

“Really? How awfully presumptuous of you,” I winked.

“Presumptuous? No. Hopeful? Yes,” he replied.

“And what is it you were hoping to do today,” I teased, biting my lip.

“Well, we could start with breakfast in bed.”

Kai stood up with me straddling him, and took me to the bedroom, throwing me down on the bed. Crawling onto the mattress, he opened up my robe and parted my legs. Using his tongue, Kai glided up my thigh towards my beating center. My breath hitched when he started to taste me.

  “Oh, my God!” I purred.

With slow streaks he caressed his tongue on my nub and between my folds, licking the wetness that dripped freely into his mouth. “Oh, Kai.” My nipples were hardening and becoming erect, the blood racing to my clit. I grabbed the back of Kai’s head and bucked my hips up, causing more friction between his lips and my pussy. My senses were heightened and everything was intensified and sensitive. I could feel each movement of his tongue which sent my body into meltdown. Fuck! He knows what he’s doing. I loved the way he flickered at my clit, and the way his tongue thrusted in and out of my dripping pussy. Wanting more, I couldn’t help but beg. “Kai, please.” He lifted his head and his eyes met mine.

  “What is it, baby?”

“I need you inside of me,” I uttered beneath my breath.

“I want to taste you. Then, and only then will you have my cock,” he vowed. My head fell back onto the bed the moment his mouth met my clit.

“Oh, mmm,” I moaned. He grabbed a tight hold of my hips and devoured me. Taking everything I was willing to give him and what he elicits my body to release. I can’t hold back anymore. He’s too fucking good and I want to give him everything he wants. He wants to taste me and I’ll let him. My pussy tightened around him and my toes curled, my body convulsing beneath him. “Oh, my God! Storm! Ah! Yes!”

Kai moved away from me, and my body still quivered. Climbing on top, Kai’s mouth crashed into mine. I wrapped my arms around him, pulling him closer. Feeling his erection dig into me provoked a fire inside. I need him. Kai broke the kiss and our eyes locked in place.

“I want you, Isla,” Kai moaned. I bit my lip, dipping my voice.

“Have me anyway you want to.”

“You can’t say that to me and not expect me to follow through,” he grinned. My expression turned serious.

“Use me for whatever sick fucking fantasy you have going on in your mind,” I hissed.

“No,” Kai said firmly, shaking his head. I honestly don’t care what he does to me right now, I just need to feel him.

  “How do you want me?”

“I want you any way you’ll have me.” Kai leaned in and crashed his lips onto mine.

After staying in bed for most of the day, Kai and I decided to get up and grab something to eat. We’ve just gotten changed and are sitting down next to each other on the couch in the oversized lounge room. “What are you in the mood for?” Kai asked.

I shrugged my shoulders, smiling at him. All we’ve been doing was fucking. I could eat a horse. I’ve used up all my energy and he’s done the same. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I’m his. And he is mine. “I’m just famished right now.” Multiple orgasms. I don’t think I’ve ever came so much in my life. It’s like he knows everything about what I like and we haven’t known each other for long. His hands and mouth are just perfect. I can’t get enough of him.

“Well, I’m hungry too. We could eat in or we could go out for dinner.” I looked at him and smiled.

“If we go out together, people might see us. Are you ready for that?”

“Don’t you mean are you ready for Holden to find out?” he grinned.

I nodded. How do I bring up Kai to Holden? And everything else.

“Maybe we could go out but not somewhere local.” I offered. Storm nodded, but seemed saddened by my response. I don’t want to upset him. I ran my fingers through his hair. “I’m not trying to hide us, I’m just…” Kai nodded quickly.

  “I know, it’s not that…,” Kai hesitated.

I like him. A lot. There’s something he wants to tell me, I know there is, I just don’t know what it could be. I’ve been keeping secrets from him, but I hate talking about it.

  “What’s wrong, Kai?”

“I have to tell you something.”

  10

  First Date

“I have to tell you that…” Kai hesitated for a moment. He swallowed hard and the wheels in his head were turning.

“What is it?” My eyebrows furrowed and my heart was racing. This is it. He’s going to tell me his secret.

“It’s just,” he sighed. After shaking his head, he ran his fingers through his soft hair, which slid through like butter. “Nothing, I’m over thinking things.”

I hoped one day he would feel comfortable enough to tell me what was on his mind. Maybe I could do the same. Even though I was close with Holden, I kept so much from him and everyone else. “You know you can trust me,” I assured.

Kai smiled at me, grabbed my waist, and pulled me on top. My hands rested on his chest and we looked into each other’s eyes.

If I keep gazing into them, surely, I won’t find my way back.

“So, there’s a nice restaurant about an hour away I’d like to take you to,”

  “That sounds perfect,” I grinned.

His lips curved into a smile. “Are you going to come back here with me tonight?”

Absofuckinglutely. I bit my lip, and twirled my fingers with each other. “I’m not sure. I have a client I need to meet up with.”

Kai’s smile disappeared as quickly as it came. He grabbed my arms with both of his hands. The firm tone of his voice made the hair stick up on the back of my neck. I was only joking, but he didn’t know.

“You’d better be fucking kidding me, right?” He growled.

I could almost touch the desperation in his eyes. “I already told you that I was yours.”

He loosened his grip on me and pulled me to his lips. My arms relaxed when he let go, and my body began craving for him. God, I want him again, but I’m so damn exhausted. I need to stop. Reluctantly, I pulled back from the kiss. “Sorry, I’m just so tired.”

“I can’t get enough of you, gorgeous,” he flattered.

  “Neither can I.”

It was six-o-clock in the afternoon, and the sun peeked through the full-length windows of the penthouse suite, lightly touching the woven carpet, causing multi-colored patterns across the floor. Storm headed down to the lobby before I di
d, making sure that Holden wasn’t lurking about. I sat on the couch biting the sides of my nails waiting for a text to tell me it was safe to leave. He’s not here. You can come now. Sighing out a breath, I stood up and made my way out of the suite, down the lift and into the lobby, where Kai was waiting for me, smiling.

  “Are you ready?”

Reaching out my hand, Kai placed his in mine, nodding. We made our way down to the parking garage. My eyes widened and my mouth formed an O when he led me to his car. “Wow? Is that your Mazda?”

“Yeah, I’ve always loved red,” Kai confessed, winking at me.

I have to remember that for later. I had always loved Mazda’s. I was never able to afford a luxury car, but owning one like this has been a dream of mine. Damn, it looks good. We both step inside, and the first thing I noticed was that new car smell. “How long have you had this for?”

“Not long. Probably about a month or so. My old car got damaged and I needed to upgrade.” Kai pushed the key in the ignition before turning it on. The roar was loud, and made my soul light up. God, I love the way it sounds. Kai pulled out of the garage and turned left. The traffic was heavy and noisy.

Goosebumps washed over my skin from the light chill in the air. Kai noticed, reached over the dash, turning on the heater which immediately warmed me up. “This should help.”

  “Thank you.”

He rested his hand on my thigh above the material of my silky dress. My eyes closed; his touch caused my skin to rise again.

I love the way he touches me.

Gazing at me briefly, before his attention was brought back onto the road. Light conversation filled the car on the drive to the restaurant. When we finally arrived, almost late due to the traffic, luck was on our side when we found a parking spot just outside the restaurant. I opened the door and stepped onto the concrete pavement, my heel almost getting caught in a gap on the footpath.

Shit. Standing up straight, I looked up at the name of the restaurant. Alessio’s. “Is this an Italian place?”

  “Yeah, is that okay?”

I nodded. “I love Italian food. One of my favorite things to eat.”

We went inside the restaurant, and were ushered to our table on the outdoor balcony by our hostess. There was an unobstructed view of the Empire State Building.

Kai pulled out my chair. I looked up and smiled at him.

“Thank you. Such a gentleman,” I grinned.

Kai sat down at the other end of the table. Taking the neatly folded white napkin, I placed it on my lap, just as the waitress came by with a clear jug of water. Her hands were shaking as she poured each of us a glass.

  “Thank you.”

The waitress nodded. “You’re welcome.” Her eyes glistened as she walked away. I brought my attention to Kai.

“This place is stunning.” I complimented. “The waitress seemed nice.”

“You were a waitress before you got into…you know?” Kai halted his next words.

“You mean before I became a call girl,” I whispered.

  He nodded.

My life was pretty crap. I was given a raw deal with my parents who never really looked after me, and I didn’t have the best role models growing up. There was no guidance, no encouragement, but something more heartbreaking. I lost focus on what was important to me. Maybe I never had it to begin with. “I was a waitress until a man came up to me at the hotel while I was waiting for Holden. We were going to go out drinking, but he got caught up at work,” I explained.

  “What did he say?”

“He asked me how much I was for the night. I told him I wasn’t a prostitute, but he gave me his room key anyway. I decided to go up and meet him because I was desperate for the cash. It was a lot of money, so I accepted his proposition,”

“How long have you been doing this for?”

“Um, not long to be honest. Come to think of it, I need a new profession,” I chuckled.

Kai’s lips lifted upward into a smile. “Yes, you definitely should. Do you have a plan?”

“I don’t know. I haven’t thought about it. I was never good at school because of the lack of proper support. I really don’t want to have to go back to waitressing.” Storm nodded, listening to me. Those were things I was okay telling him. Going deeper into the abyss of my life would be too much for me to handle, and possibly him. I’m not ready yet.

“Are you struggling at the moment?”

I shook my head. “I found a new place to live and I’ll be okay for a while there. I really need to get out of the dump I’m in.” Now that I’m not going to be a call girl, what the hell do I do? I need to find a proper job. One that would allow me to keep up with the rent of my new place. “I should be moving in there in a couple of weeks.”

“So, what are you going to do?”

“I’ve looked at other jobs before, other than waitressing, but no one wanted to hire me without experience, and I can’t get experience if no one is willing to hire me.”

Kai was disappointed, not because I was struggling, but because he felt an element of guilt now that I needed to find a less paying job since we’re together.

But I don’t care about that. I’m so damn into him, it would even be worth going back to waitressing if it means we could stay with each other.

“Maybe you could speak with Holden. He might be able to get you a job at the hotel.” My eyebrows cocked up. “I mean a different job.”

I nodded. I never thought to ask Holden before. God, I’m not sure he’ll even want to be my friend if he found out what I’ve been doing. “I’ll ask him, that’s a great idea. Thank you,”

The waitress came by and took our order. Kai and I continued our conversation until the food arrived. “God, this looks amazing,” I beamed. “Lasagna is one of my favorite Italian meals.” I leaned over the plate, closed my eyes as I took in the scent of the melted cheese, which were crispy on the corners. The deep tomato base mixed with the sautéed meat opened up my appetite. Taking the silver knife and fork in my hand, I cut a piece of the lasagna and brought it up to my mouth; closing my eyes as my lips covered the cutlery.

“Oh, God. That’s so good,” I moaned.

As soon as my eyes opened, my breath hitched. Kai was watching me intensely. His heated gaze pierced right through to my core. “I love the sounds you make while you eat,” he complimented.

  “Thank you,” I blushed.

“So, do you have any siblings?” Kai continued. “I know you’re not crazy about your parents.” Kai licked his lips, taking a bite of his spaghetti marinara, the strong seafood stench almost made my stomach turn.

  Ugh. I hate seafood.

I shook my head. “No, I’m an only child. What about you?”

“I have a brother. He’s overseas at the moment.”

A brother. I wonder what he’s like. “Do you get along with him?”

“Yeah, we’re pretty close. Our whole family is.”

My heart was heavy. Kai had something I’ve wanted for my own. A close family. “It must be nice to have that,” I sighed deeply, my shoulders slumped and my tone was flat.

“I’m sorry that you don’t,” Kai sympathized quietly.

“Thanks. I’m better off without my parents.”

“Storm.” A soft voice greeted him.

I brought my attention to the beautiful woman standing next to our table. Her dark brown sparkling eyes matched the tone of her skin and her plump lips curved into a smile. She ran her fingers through her glossy purple hair, her fringe settled neatly back down her face. A young man stood next to her; his piercing ocean blue eyes would not move away from her gaze. Kai looked up at the woman and coughed when a few drops of the water he was drinking got stuck in his airway.

“Are you okay?” I asked Kai.

He nodded and placed the glass back down on the table. “Sorry,” he apologized. Kai turned to the woman. “Hey, Shante,” he greeted.

“Sup. You remember our new guy. This is Channing,” the woman introduced
.

Kai looked between Shante and Channing, reaching out his hand for him to shake. “I don’t think we’ve officially met. Nice to meet you, Channing.”

  “Hey, man,” Channing greeted.

“Here on a date?” Shante muttered.

Kai nodded before he introduced me. “Shante, Channing, this is Isla…my um…girl.”

Fluttering settled in my stomach as soon as those words were released from his lips. He said I was his girl!

“Hey,” Shante and Channing said in unison.

I cleared my throat before I offered my hand to greet them. “Nice to meet you both.”

Channing’s eyes were on Shante the whole time. His gaze as intense as Kai’s is on mine. There’s definitely something there between them. He wants her bad.

“Nice to meet you too,” Shante replied, bringing her attention to Kai, she continued. “I’ll catch up with you at work. We need to discuss a few things,” she hissed.

“I’ll see you later.” Kai sat upright, cleared his throat, and scratched the back of his neck.

The couple strolled out of the restaurant, and I brought my attention to Kai. “Has anything gone on between you and Shante?”

“Never,” Kai responded quickly. The muscles in his throat moved when he swallowed hard.

“It just seemed you were a little uncomfortable when they came up to us.”

“I wasn’t expecting to see her here. I like to keep my private and work life separated,” Kai admitted.

“That’s understandable,” I agreed. “It seems as though I’ve mixed my work with pleasure now,” I teased and winked at Kai, before I rested my head in my hands, with my elbows on the table. His lips curved into a smile.

“We need to get out of here,” Kai muttered.

My eyes narrowed at him. “How come?”

Kai leaned in and lowered his voice to a whisper causing my body to tremble and heat up. “You’re made me so fucking hard.”

I closed my eyes and bit my lip, smiling when I opened them again. “You shouldn’t have told me that.”

  Kai frowned. “Why?”

God, there’s no way I’m going to wait till we head back to the penthouse. I need him now. Kai was still leaning over the table when I whispered back to him. “I’ll be back. I need to go to the bathroom.”
