Decay of Humanity Series | Book 4 | Dawn of Humanity Page 26

by Dawn, M. K.

This was the world they lived in. One full of unimaginable horrors.

To protect his children meant they had to learn how to protect themselves. “I don’t think the military program is enough.”

Archer tossed a grape into his mouth. “No?”

“All the children,” Axel sat up, an idea coming to him, “actually, everyone here, young and old, need to learn how to defend themselves against the infested and people like The Boss. It’s the only way Catalina will survive.”

“It’s a great idea that I think the Council will like, but they’re going to need someone to get it up and running. Got anyone in mind?”

The corner of Axel’s mouth twitched. “Well, it’s my idea.”

And he would do everything in his power to make sure this program came to life. Because a fight was coming. They couldn’t predict when. Tomorrow? Ten years from now? Didn’t matter. They would have to face the infested again.

And when they did, Catalina would be ready.
