“Do you like what you see?” Harley said, suddenly feeling aroused as the stress of the day finally left her.

“You know that I do,” Ethan said as he brought his gaze back to her.

  “Maybe you could wash me.”

His eyes lit up. “It would be my pleasure.”

He grabbed a sponge and plunged his hand into the water. He washed one leg, then the other and did the same with her arms. She sat up as he washed her back.

“Is that all?” she said with a wicked grin. She lay back in the tub and looked down at the small towel around his hips.

Shaking his head, he brought the sponge to her breasts and slowly washed her before letting go of the sponge and simply washing her with his bare hand.

Harley sighed at the pleasurable sensation of his flesh on hers. Her breasts perked up, eager for more of his touch, and when he reached down to run his hands between her legs, she let out a loud groan.

“What are you guys…” Colin said. “Oh.”

  132

Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5) Harley opened her eyes to see Colin looking at them, his gaze instantly hungry.

“I think I’m clean enough,” she said. She held her hand out to Ethan who helped her to stand and step out of the tub.

As he did so, the towel wrapped around his hips fell off revealing his hunger for her. His massive erection was pointed at her, begging for her touch.

Without saying a word, he led her back to one of the rooms as Colin followed behind them. For a moment, they looked at one another, reverent, respectful and eager.

Then, as if some silent signal had been given, they fell into bed, their hands, lips, tongues touching each other, tasting each other and exploring one another.

Ethan caressed her breasts while Colin kissed his way up her thigh to finally reach her clitoris and bring her to an immediate orgasm.

As she recovered from that first quick climax, she tended to them. Getting on all fours, she invited Colin to penetrate her from behind while she took 133

Ethan in her mouth. Their rocking rhythm brought them to their orgasms, just as Harley reached her own once again.

“What are you doing up so early?”

Seated at the dinner table, Harley looked up to see Ethan coming into the dining room.

“It’s Saturday morning,” he added. “I thought we’d sleep in.” He poured himself a cup of coffee and came to sit beside her.

“I’m just trying to keep up,” Harley said as she pushed her open textbook to the center of the table. She’d been up for over an hour going over the same page again and again. “I don’t know why, but this theory just won’t sink in.”

Ethan brought his chair closer to her, pulled the textbook back in front of her and read the page with her. With more patience than a saint, he broke down the theory, explaining it to Harley in plain English.

“Do you understand now?” he said.

  134

  Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5)

“Okay,” she said, nodding. “So, in a way, the glamouring of dark faes can be more deceptive than that of light faes.”

“In a nutshell, yes, but there are a lot of nuances.”

Harley sat back and pushed her hair off her face. “Everything seems to be nuanced. It’s dizzying. Why can’t it all be more straight forward?”

Ethan chuckled and closed the book. “Have you had breakfast yet?”

“No,” Harley admitted. “I’ve been running on coffee.”

“How about bacon and eggs? Or maybe you’d prefer an omelette.”

“Actually,” Harley said with a childish grin.

“I have a bit of a hankering for something sweet.”

“Okay,” Ethan said. “Pancakes or waffles?

I’ve finally learned how that waffle thing works.”

Harley chuckled. “Waffles would be great.”

“Right away.” He got up and headed to the kitchen.

Harley watched him as he prepared breakfast and marveled at the past few days she’d spent with him and Colin. She hadn’t expected to get along with them so well but being around them had been pleasant in every way.

Not only were they helping her with her lessons, but they often found interesting ways of relieving the stress of the day.

Sometimes it was as simple as a massage.

The night before, as she was stretched out on the sofa going over an essay she’d written, Colin had settled in beside her, parted her legs and had gone up her skirt to gently kiss and caress her clitoris.

Smiling, she had tried to concentrate on her paper all while enjoying the workings of his tongue, but, eventually, she’d had to put her work down and just enjoy it fully.

Now, as Ethan brought her breakfast, she felt the desire to have his warm kisses all over her.

“Here you go,” he said as he set the plate in front of her. A large waffle was topped with whipped cream, maple syrup and fresh strawberries.

  136

Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5) He sat beside her and looked expectantly at her.

“Aren’t you going to eat anything?” she said with a wicked grin. She ran her finger through the whipped cream and sucked on the digit in the most provocative manner.

His eyes immediately lit up. With a sexy grin, he slithered off his chair to go under the table where he parted her legs and ate her as she ate his breakfast.

The blend of sensations was wild, but as tasty as his waffle was, she ultimately had to put her fork down and just enjoy the special attention he was giving her.

“That was great,” Harley let out as the fulfillment of all her sensations were met.

He emerged from under the table and sat beside her just as Colin came downstairs and joined them.

“What smells so good?” Colin said.

Harley and Ethan giggled as Colin poured himself some coffee.

“You know, I do believe I’ve become quite addicted to this dark brew,” he said as he came to the table. “What are you guys up to?”

“A bit of studying,” Ethan said. “Some breakfast… you know. The usual.”

“While you’re both here,” Harley said. “I really wanted to thank you guys for sticking around.

It’s great just knowing you’re here.”

“I have to admit,” Colin said. “There doesn’t seem to be as much trouble as you expected. No one has even gotten close to you since we’ve been here.”

“And I think that’s exactly the reason; you two. I think you’ve scared everyone off. Even Cici and Ashley haven’t approached me since you’ve been here.”

Harley looked at them both. Their broad chests, wide shoulders, massive biceps. “Look at you guys. You’re beasts. Who in their right mind would dare even come close to me with you guys around?”

“You have a point there,” Ethan said with a proud grin.

  Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5)

“Even the young and inexperienced dark faes know better than to tempt the ire of the Spring Fae Nobles.”

But Harley suspected it may even be more than just the presence of Colin and Ethan that was keeping the bullies at bay. Her magical powers seemed to be inexplicably stronger.

When in Spring, she had felt her powers growing and had attributed it to being at home, in her own kingdom.

But she had also noticed a more acute sense of her powers the day after Colin and Ethan had arrived and wondered if it simply being close to someone from Spring could enhance her abilities.

  Chapter 10

  Kingsley

  

Kingsley crossed over to the Faery Realm and found himself on a bluff looking over the sea on one side and a lush green valley on the other.

All was quiet without any signs of war. It was pleasant, but h
e was prepared to let down his guard just yet.

As he made his way down into the valley, he noticed in the distance, a young man with a small flock of sheep. Not since the wars had begun had he seen such a peaceful and serene scene.

“What bravery have you wandering about in the pastures as the wars are being fought?” Kingsley said when he got close enough.

  140

Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5) The young man looked up at him, his eyes wide with fear. “The wars… ah, they’ve… Sir?”

“Fear not, lad,” Kingsley said, realizing the boy wasn’t more than fourteen years old. “I’m not here to instigate any battle. I’m merely amazed to see you out and about. Do the wars of the kingdoms not concern you?”

“Sir,” the young man said. “There has been no fighting for a few days now. I’d begun to think it was over. Ma said the sheep needed new pastures to feed on.”

Kingsley looked at the scrawny animals.

“Things have been quiet for a few days now, you say.”

“Yes, indeed, sir. No fighting whatsoever.”

“Have the armies been pulled back? Have the encampments been dismantled?”

The teenage boy shook his head. “No, sir. I believe they haven’t.” He glanced at the pasture around him. “I guess it is a little dangerous being out here. I guess the fighting could start up again any time now.”

  141

  Rachel Angel

“Tell me,” Kingsley said. “What kingdom are you from?”

  The boy hesitated.

Kingsley reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver coin and the boy’s eyes lit up. “Please.

What kingdom are you from? What kingdom are you in now?”

  “The Kingdom of Woods, sir.”

Nodding, Kingsley tossed him the coin. He was close to Oak. He considered for a moment the difficulty he would have approaching Oak’s encampment. It would be nearly impossible and even if he succeeded, Oak would most likely not speak to him.

“Do you know where the Woods army camp is?”

“Yes. Of course, I do,” the boy answered, now more confident. “Just over yonder.” He pointed farther down the valley.

Kingsley gazed at the sheep. “I have a favor to ask of you.” He pulled out another coin, eliciting another wide-eyed gaze from the boy.

“It would be my honor, sir.”

  142

  Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5)

“Do you have a good memory?”

  “The best, sir.”

Kingsley grinned. “All right, then. I want you to go to the encampment. I want you to find Oak. I believe he may be General Oak by now.”

The boy shot a concerned gaze at his sheep.

“Don’t worry about them. I’ll stay here and make sure they stay put. Now I want you to personally speak to General Oak. Tell him you have a message for him from Harley, Princess of Spring.”

  The boy frowned.

“Tell him that Harley wishes to see him. He is to meet her on the bluff by the sea in half an hour.”

  Again, the boy frowned.

  “You understand?”

  “Yes, but…”

“You are not to tell him that I sent you.”

When he saw the doubt still in the boy’s eyes, he added, “It’s a surprise for him.” He pulled another silver coin from his pocket and tossed it at the boy.

“Now, repeat back to me what I’ve just asked you to do.”

  143

  Rachel Angel

The boy went through the entire scenario without faltering, but still had doubts.

Kingsley pulled a gold coin and held it up.

“If you do exactly as I’ve asked you, you’ll be very greatly rewarded.”

  The boy nodded.

  “Go now, and hurry.”

The boy shot a final glance at his flock, looked at Kingsley and turned to run off. Kingsley had never seen anyone run so fast. He would most surely be in Oak’s face within minutes.

Still, the minutes passed as Kingsley stood amidst the sheep waiting for the return of the boy.

Just as he was beginning to think that his ploy would fail, he saw the boy returning, running just as fast as he’d been when he’d left.

“What did he say?” Kingsley said.

“He said that he would be there in twenty minutes.”

“Perfect.” Kingsley pulled the gold coin out of his pocket and tossed it at the boy. He then turned and headed back to the bluff to wait. He found a 144

Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5) lone boulder and sat on the other side, looking out over the sea as he thought of Harley.

It had taken him longer than he’d anticipated to cross over to the Faery Realm. He sensed the parameters were changing, making it more difficult to go to and from the human world.

He thought of her, alone at the Academy with all the new recruits that were sure to make trouble.

He knew she was strong and capable, and her magical powers were a true asset, but she was still so new to it all.

  “Harley!” Oak called out.

Kingsley took a deep breath and stood to face him.

“You?” Oak said as he took a menacing step closer to Kingsley, his hand quick to reach for his sword. “What are you doing here?”

“Wait,” Kingsley said, putting up his hand to stop him. “Wait. I’m here because of Harley.”

Oak looked around. “I was told Harley would be here.” His eyes narrowed as he looked at Kingsley with a murderous gaze.

“I’m the one who wanted to meet with you.”

  145

  Rachel Angel

Oak looked back over the bluff down into the valley. “That little bastard. I’ll wring his scrawny little neck for setting me up like this.”

“You were not set up, Oak. It truly is Harley who needs you, only she sent me here to come get you as she is unable to cross over to the Faery Realm at this time.”

Oak took a deep breath. “What does she need me for? The last time we met she didn’t even know who I was.”

“That was a spell. It’s been broken. But now she is back in the Human Realm, back at the Academy.”

Oak looked solemnly at him and waited for him to go on.

“The Academy,” Kingsley said more slowly, sensing that he now had Oak’s full attention. “With the dean gone it has been taken over by the Dark Fae Wizard.”

Oak frowned. “I don’t believe you.”

“I wouldn’t jest about something like this, Oak. The Dark Fae Wizard is doing everything he can to recruit new and young dark faes. He wants 146

Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5) to take over, Oak. He wants to control everything…

the world. The world of humans. Do you know what that means?”

Oak took a step back. “The Dark Fae Wizard,” he said to himself. “I’ve been tricked too many times since these wars have begun. With all due respect, Kingsley, I’m not sure I believe you.”

“Then, come see for yourself,” Kingsley said.

“Come see how things are at the Academy. We can cross over just there.”

Oak hesitated, then finally nodded. He followed Kingsley through to the human realm.

The moment they were back at the Academy, Kingsley felt a change in the tension with Oak.

“Wow,” Oak said as he looked at the unfamiliar surroundings. “It sure seems strange being back here.”

“I know.” Kingsley looked around. “I found it strange as well.”

They stood facing the main administrative building and could see hundreds of people going about their day.

  147

  Rachel Angel

Somewhere in there was Harley, he thought, but how to find her?

As they headed onto the campus grounds, they heard a loud roar and turned to the thunderous sound.

Coming up the main drive to the central portion of the campus were six motorcycles that proudly growled their arrival. They pulled up to the curb not far from Kingsley and O
ak.

“Is this the trouble you were telling me about?” Oak said.

Kingsley shook his head. “I have no idea.

  I’ve never seen them before.”

All six riders revved their engines and the deafening sound caught the attention of everyone on campus. Everyone stopped to see the source of the disturbance and many hurried off once they realized who had just arrived.

“I don’t know who they are,” Kingsley said, but the people here sure don’t seem to appreciate them.

The engines were finally turned off and the riders got off their bikes. When they pulled off their 148

Disruption (Fallen Fae Academy #5) helmets, four of them reveal long flowing hair that went down to their waists. The other two had scruffy beards and dead eyes.

Swaying with more sensuality than Kingsley had ever seen before, the girls walked up to them, their eyes promising and their lips seductive. All dressed in black leather that clung to them like a second skin, they were sex on wheels.

“Are you guys the welcome wagon?” one of the girls said. She walked right up to Oak and set her hand on his chest.

“Not quite,” Kingsley said, keeping it cool.

“Can we help you with something?”

“Hey!” one of the guys called out to them.

“What are you darlings doing? We’re here to meet with the dean, remember?”

Kingsley glanced knowingly at Oak. If they were here to meet with the dean, it was most assuredly not to enroll in any classes.

“Too bad,” another girl said as she came up to Kingsley. “You look like the kind of man I could really have fun with.”

  149

  Rachel Angel

But as Kingsley looked down at her, he saw the whites of her eyes turn black and her skin turn a greyish green.

“Watch out!” Oak called as the girl in front of him also showed her true colors.
