The Ultimate Takedown (Kick Ass Academy Book 1) Page 4

by LL Dahlin

“Wow.” Myles felt like a kid walking into a candy store. This place was freaking awesome. It was then that he saw the darts. He walked over and picked up 6 of them although he thought you only got three chances. Myles tried to think about the way Cash moved behind him and showed him how to do it properly. The man had gotten a few bullseyes right in front of his face so he knew the information he’d shared was accurate now lets see how well he could follow directions. Thwop. It made it on the board but it was nowhere close to the middle of the target.

  “That’s pretty good.”

The voice, that came from the direction of the door, was deep and groggy. It scared the hell out of him and turned him on at the same time. Myles cleared his throat.

“Sorry to wake you. I couldn’t sleep, but I probably shouldn’t be walking around your home in the middle of the night.”

“No problem. I could have told you where things were and I cut out of the get together early so I didn’t get a chance to talk to you afterwards.”

Myles had seen Maddox leave after Cash and then come back with pink cheeks. It appeared one and dones were only for people he didn’t know, because Maddox worked with Cash practically every day. Maybe that was the reason why he did what he did. He could be cheating on Maddox…or maybe they had an arrangement. Whatever.

Cash walked over pulled the dart out of the board. “Did you want to play?”

This was almost the exact scenario that occurred the night before. “That was my plan. Try to quiet my mind and get some sleep.”

“Did the guys make you nervous?”

Myles could have sworn there was some joy in those words but it was late and he was feeling a bit inquisitive. “No the guys didn’t make me nervous. They are a great group of men and they are good to size me up. It’s got to make you feel good that you have such a loyal group around you. You’re all like family.”

Cash seemed happy about that description. He smiled as he put his hand out for the other two darts. “I’m glad they didn’t give you too hard of a time.”

“Are you?” Myles wasn’t surprised when Cash threw him under the bus but he knew the exact moment he realized he wasn’t going to crash and burn. It was when he left him in there to fend for himself. Myles prided himself on being able to capture peoples personas. Not the one people tried to show you but the one they truly were. Cash was a helper and he liked the underdog. That showed with who he’d given a chance at his club. They were a scrappy bunch that most wouldn’t have placed bets on but Cash did.

“For the most part.” Cash squared up his shoulders and threw his darts before looking at Myles. “You handled yourself pretty good in there.”

“Thanks?” Myles waited for him to write down the numbers on the dry erase board next to the bullseye. When Cash stood next to him he tried to emulate Cash’s body stance when he threw his darts. “What would you have done if I failed.”

  “I guess we’ll never know.”

Just talking to Cash now was wearing him out. He was just going to stroke one off and go to sleep. It would probably be better for the both of them anyway.

“Well that was enough to get me sleepy. What time do we start in the morning?” Myles put the darts down on the table he’d found them on and walked toward the door.

“One game and you’re ready to quit?”

“I’m not quitting. I don’t want to play anymore.” That was true in so many ways.

“Hmmm.” Cash made the noise while squaring back up to throw his darts. He fired them off quickly and they all landed directly beside the ones Myles had thrown.

“You are really good at that.” Myles couldn’t help but to be impressed.

“I’ve been playing forever. I think I could do it in my sleep.”

“One day we’ll have to see if you can do it with your eyes closed.” Myles said when they got to the hallway.

“I can do a lot of things with my eyes closed.” Myles voice sounded deep and sexy.

  “Are you flirting with me?”

  “If I am?”

“I’m not really good with it. I am trying to find my footing here and the back and forth you’re working with is confusing. I’m not one to ask for what’s not being offered and I don’t like to eat from someone else’s plate. So if this flirting thing is your thing but you don’t mean anything by it…that’s cool. I’d just like to know.”

There wasn’t much said on the way back toward the kitchen. This place was huge and maybe there was a faster way to get where they were going but Myles didn’t know where it was. It appeared Cash seemed to be following him so he was just going to go the way he remembered his room’s location.

The sound of footsteps on tile was all the background noise that could be heard until he’d finally made it to the room he was given to sleep. “Good night, Charles.”

  “What did you call me?”

“Your name is Charles isn’t it?” Myles had no idea why he’d called the man by his name it was probably a passive aggressive way to piss him off but it didn’t seem to have that affect. It was more like shock that crossed his face.

  “Yes it is.”

Myles walked into his room and wasn’t sure if he should close it in the man’s face or just leave the door open. Cash grabbed him by his arm when he was almost out of reach.

“Eating from someone else’s plate. What did you mean by that?”

“All that I said and that’s what you picked to talk about?” Myles shook his head feeling a bit foolish for bringing that up in the first place but in for a penny…in for a pound is what his mother had always said. “I don’t like dealing with guys who are in relationships.”

Cash frowned like he was trying to solve his own puzzle. “I’m not in a relationship with anyone. Never have been.”

“Okay.” Myles slid out of Cash’s grasp and decided enough was enough. “Like I said…goodnight.”

“Did someone say I was in a relationship?”

“No. I just put a few things together and maybe I didn’t come up with the right answer.” Myles didn’t feel like getting into it right now even though he was the one who brought it up.

“To answer your question I’m not typically a flirt. This whole situation is out of my grasp. I’m trying to figure it out and probably not doing the best job of it. There is a reason why one and dones are my go to. I suck at this stuff.” Cash took a deep breath, let it out and then seemed to focus on something he was good at. “We wake at 5AM, go for a run and then a quick breakfast.”

“That’s all before we even get to the gym?” Myles questioned.

“You’re getting the suggested amount of workout. Most people do it the easy way, which is either acting like they did what’s suggested or don’t even bother to lie about it, but you’re going to do it my way.”

“I’m a big fan of the easy way. I think I should try that first and then either ease my way into your way or do what most people do.” As excited as Myles was to get started he was a bit apprehensive as well. He was going to be among beings who were in shape and worked their bodies like the machines they were meant to be…not to mention his favorite MMA fighter who stood before him now. Looking and feeling like a fool wasn’t something he was looking forward to.

“You’re not like most people and I get the feeling you like to live your life to the fullest. You’re the type of guy who tells well thought out stories that draws you in and keeps you listening to the end because there is so much detail and color.” Cash was smiling and it threw Myles off. He’d seen the man smirk and he’d seen the sexy grin but this full smile was intoxicating. It was full and free of judgement and concern for what others thought. It was his favorite Cash expression yet.

“Maybe you’re right. I am the kind of guy to take the steer by the balls and ride him for all that he’s worth. I like living life full throttle and I don’t do regrets. So I’m going to get myself ready for bed and see you in a few hours.”

“What’s involved in getting yourself ready?
Cash leaned on the door frame as he watched Myles as if he were mesmerized.

Was it because it was late, or because he was aroused past the point of caring he didn’t know? Myles popped the buttons of his jeans and spread them apart before he adjusted his cock so that it pointed straight up. “Fuck that feels good.”

Cash hadn’t moved but was watching as he took off his shirt and kicked off his shoes.

Myles made it to the bathroom before he took his pants all the way off. He started the shower and didn’t know if the man was still at the door or had gone to bed. It didn’t really matter because now it was his turn to get off and then get some sleep. He was going to be tired as it was with how late it was and how keyed up he’d been.

There was a good deal of lotions and soaps in the bathroom but they’d been for Karrie, Cash’s sister. Thank goodness he’d brought his own or he’d be smelling like daisies literally.

He stood in front of the mirror wondering how stupid he was acting. Myles should hurry up with this process and get some sleep, but before he could decide if he was going to jack off in the mirror and think about Cash coming in at any time or getting in the shower for a faster, easier cleanup there was Cash behind him leaning against that door jam.

“Did you forget something?” Myles had wrapped his hand around his hard cock and was stroking slow but hard. It wasn’t going to take him long especially if he was going to be an exhibition for Cash.

“Yeah.” Cash walked up behind him and pushed his jean covered cock against the side of his ass. He could feel how hard he was and it was somehow a bit dirty that he was completely naked and Cash was fully clothed. “I’m not sure what I’m going to do with you.”

Myles didn’t know what to say about that.

Cash moved Myles’ hand away from his cock effectively stopping all strokes and enclosed his dick within his warm hand. “I don’t want you to shoot this nut without me because I feel it’s mine.”

Myles fucked up into Cash’s hand and wasn’t sure if the situations he found himself in with Cash were hot or was it just being with this man made him ready to cum on command. He was watching the man in the mirror and it was like a hot dream. The mirror was cloudy from the heat of the shower water and just looking at Cash’s face was getting him closer and closer to the edge.

“Charles?” Myles wasn’t sure what he was asking or if it was relevant at all. It should have only been about his hand wrapped around his cock but the stare down fest they were having was only pushing him closer to the climax that was waiting for him.

“You like calling me Charles? Don’t you?” Myles teeth were gritting and Cash was rubbing himself hard against the back of his thigh.

“Yes.” Cash tightened the grip he had on Myles’ cock and he threw his head back.

“That’s the noise I was looking for.” Cash sank his teeth into the side of Myles’ neck and Myles found that pressure of his teeth against his skin drew his balls up tight and tensed his whole body. It was like he had one large nerve and Cash had control of it. The pressure in his body was building hot and heavy. Myles’ breathing was erratic and loud. The noise echoed off the walls and seemed to taunt him. Needy sex wasn’t something he did often but he wanted it so bad. He could have come to the thought of Cash this night but he’d had one better that that. “Come for me, Myles.”

The tightness broke and he couldn’t shut up. He wasn’t normally a quiet lover by any stretch but he typically didn’t feel like the orgasm was coming from the tips of his toes and screaming fire all the way out. His cock pulsed when it was all over and then Myles told himself he could get some sleep but he didn’t want to leave Cash, once again leaving the man in a frustrating position. He wasn’t going to do that.

Myles spun around and pushed Cash against the wall. “You make me lose it. Each and every time.” The man had on what Myles had thought was pajama pants and a shirt and all at once it was too much. He pulled the sweatpants down as he got on his knees before Cash. “I want you in my mouth when you lose it.”

He tasted of skin, salt and sexy man if there was a way to bottle that he’d have been rich. The moan he couldn’t suppress slipped out like he was a man eating his favorite candy. Licking and sucking hard was what got the best response out of Cash. He could feel the man’s eyes on him as he sucked and rotated his grip so that he could pull more of Cash’s cock into his mouth or move his hands up and down at a feverish pace.

Cash grabbed on to Myles' head and fucked himself into his face all while muttering something Myles couldn’t understand. He didn’t know what he was saying exactly but it had something to do with not stopping. Of that he was sure of.

“Myles…Myles….Myles.” The thick ropes shot out at the back of his throat and he swallowed every one. Cash picked him up off the floor so that he was standing before him.

“Did you like that?” Myles didn’t do low self confidence, but for whatever reason, it was important to know what Cash thought about the mouth love he’d just received. Cash got his breathing back together and looked down at him for a few seconds before pulling him up higher and licking at his lips.

“You didn’t taste how much I liked that?” Cash said as he rubbed his face against Myles’ beard.

The fog in the bathroom was getting so dense it was a bit difficult to see very far but since they were standing so close together it just made a little cocoon around them. It was other world like and Myles wondered if they should talk about this new development or should they just go with the flow. It hadn’t ever been a problem until now for a few reasons. One this man seemed determined to blow him off even if he did offer to let him see his gym at the last minute and he wasn’t sure if he was just crushing on his favorite athlete or if it was something else.

He nodded and stepped away from Cash to get into the shower. “I’ll see you in the morning, Cash.” It was a bogus way to hide from what was going on but for some reason he was feeling a bit vulnerable and he wasn’t willing to do this when he wasn’t at his best.

“Alright. I’ll see you.” Cash said and Myles could feel the cool breeze of the air that was outside the bathroom as the man opened and closed the door behind him.

The water was a bit too warm so Myles turned it down before he tuned it all out and wrote the article that he had so far in his head. It was how he got through tough situations and how he destressed.

He just had two nights with Charles “Cash” Tucker…Holy fuck.

  Chapter 5 – Myles

Up at five AM…check. Ready to run, at least in theory…check. Myles was missing the other ingredient that made this whole thing more interesting in terms of the interview of a lifetime and his personal bucket list…Cash. He wasn’t there in the kitchen but maybe he was running late although his gut said no. A chirping of his phone alerted him to a text message.

Cash – Something has come up you’ll be working out with someone else this morning. Welcome to Kick Ass Academy.

Well that would explain why he wasn’t there. Myles took a look at the paperwork on the table. It was a nutritional sheet of what he was supposed to eat the first week of the challenge.

He was supposed to have had sixteen ounces of water when he woke up. Myles had drank a water bottle but it was small so he would get a 20 oz size for tomorrow. Then he was supposed to have oatmeal, fruit, between 2-4 eggs and toast. That sounded pretty good actually and since he’d thought his wallet was stolen on New Years Eve when he was with Cash, only to find that someone had found and turned it in with all the assets still in the wallet, he could get something to eat at one of the diners on the way to the place when his mystery instructor showed up. He wondered if it was going to be Brooks. That guy is worth an interview in and of himself even though he could see how talking about the man’s last fight would be a sore subject since he lost. Senator’s son turned MMA fighter? That was gold.

Myles heard someone coming close to the kitchen and waited to see who would enter. The man with the modified gray hair, bright blue
eyes and pretty face. He didn’t look as distrustful as he had when he signed the papers but he didn’t look happy either. He carried a few bags that looked like groceries. Myles walked over to him to help him lighten his load.

“Good morning,” Myles said to Maddox.

“I’m sorry. Good morning. I’m not much of a morning person. If they need me for a class or an assignment it’s usually the late one that starts around one.” Maddox was good at doing two things at once so it shouldn’t have been a surprise that while he was talking he took out all the things he needed from the bag, pulled out a few pots and pans and started cooking.

“Why did they make you get up for this then? I’m sure I would be fine with some lowly fighter trying to earn his stripes.” Myles watched the man’s blush start from his neck and spread to his face. Maddox was pale so that would explain how easily he was made to blush but he still wasn’t sure about the relationship between Maddox and Cash.

“You’re a VIP Mr. O’Rourke so there is no way an amateur was going to get to train you.” The man was a wiz at the stove. It was practically entertainment just watching him keep all the balls in the air.

“Can I do something? Watching you is making me feel woefully lazy letting you do all the work.”

“You’re supposed to be watching me so sometime this week you can make this meal for me.” Maddox did smile that time but Myles didn’t know what to make out of it.

“Okay then, now you have my attention, I should be writing all this down.” Myles left to get his writing supplies and brought back something to write with and write on. “Now I’m ready.”

Maddox nodded and continued getting the meal prepared.

“No running this morning?” Myles said after the sound of eggs frying and water bubbled for oatmeal.

“Not for you. We are going to eat breakfast and then get to the gym. I’m going to see where you are in terms of fitness level. That gives us a better idea of what you can do and how far to push you.” The man dished up oatmeal and put fruit on top before bringing both bowls to the table. “You can get a few bottles of water out and bring them over.”
