Endless Love: The 4Ever series #3 Page 4

When they’re stomachs growled, they decided to go out to dinner, and Holly dressed up in the red dress from her video, and high heels that showed off her shapely legs. She drank him in as he fastened the last button of his white shirt. His black pants clung to his mouthwatering ass, and she looked away when his eyes raked over her.

“Wait, before we go,” he growled in her ear as he stepped up to her. “Where are your Ben Wa balls?”

  She laughed. “Hell no.”

  “C’mon, Holly. Please,” he begged.

“We’re going out to dinner, Jake.”

  He shrugged.

“Fine, they’re in my drawer. Black box.”

He rushed to her closet and she closed her eyes.

She’d never worn the Ben Wa balls in public, and she wasn’t looking forward to it.

He returned with them, taking them out of the box as he walked to her.

He sucked them into his mouth, his gaze hot on her. She flushed and her stomach did that dipping thing it did whenever he looked at her like that.

He kneeled in front of her, and lifted her one leg over his shoulder.

She held on to him as she almost lost her balance, trepidation filling her belly.

He pushed her panties to one side and she let out a small moan when he pushed a finger into her, twisting it and pumping in and out for a few short strokes.

“We were going to get food,” Holly bit out on a moan, and Jake laughed around the Ben Wa balls that were still in his mouth.

He pulled them out of his mouth and she could feel him pushing it into her.

She snuck in a breath as her skin alighted with goosebumps.

They filled her and she clenched her muscles around them, her legs trembling.

He flicked his tongue over her slick folds and sucked on her clit. Her nipples tightened and she wanted grip his head and hold it there, but instead, she smacked him on the top of his head.

  “Jake!”

He pulled his mouth away from her with a mischievous grin. “I’m not going to apologize for something that’s so fucking hot. Let’s go, so we can come back.”

She laughed as stood up and walked over to the door, wrenching it open, a sulky look on his face. He walked out, and she patted down her dress, then followed him.

With every step she took, her muscles clenched around the balls.

The feeling was indescribable, causing aching need to pulse through her, but she wouldn’t let Jake see how it made her feel. No, tonight she was going to pretend she walked around with them inside her every day.

She turned around and locked the door, making a conscious effort not to rub her thighs together.

  Jake smirked at her.

“Do not look at me that way,” she said.

  “What way?” he asked innocently.

“Oh, you know. We need to eat as well.”

He chuckled and pulled her in next to him.

She felt his lips on her head. “So how do you feel?”

“Like any other day of the week.”

  “You work with them?”

  “Maybe.”

“Oh, and who helps you out at night.” The teasing note in his voice was gone.

“Bennie, the tofu in my drawer.”

He laughed. “Still preferring tofu over meat?”

She laughed too. “No, but this time I don’t have a choice as the meat is millions of miles away from me.”

  “It better stay that way.”

“Seriously, Jake? I’m not that type of woman.”

“Oh no?” he teased her again as they climbed into the elevator. “Then what were you doing with me a few months ago?”

“Oh shut up. You know that was different.”

He chuckled. “I’m just joking. Besides, you weren’t the cheating bastard. I was.”

Whenever he brought it up, a pit formed in her stomach. She didn’t see him like that. She knew that it couldn’t have been easy on him seeing her again right before his wedding.

“Is Kate still giving you shit?”

“We can talk about that later.” He dismissed her question and changed the subject about the upcoming medical trial he had at the hospital she was working at.

She couldn’t wait for it to start, because it meant that not only would she see him every day for at least three weeks, it also meant Jamie would be here, and she missed her little girl fiercely.

She struggled to listen to a word he said, because she was still thinking about his “cheating bastard” comment.

Amelia and Bernie had told her how hard it was on Jake when Holly left all those years ago, and that he’d screwed any woman with strawberry-blonde hair in the years after that.

And all because he couldn’t get Holly out of his system.

So, it hadn’t surprised Amelia when he’d cheated on Kate, or that Holly had had an affair with an engaged man. What had surprised Amelia, was that neither of them had brought up the baby before the day Jake saw Jamie at the hospital.

But Holly had explained that she’d been scared Jake would take her to court and fight for custody. And Jake hadn’t brought it up, because he hadn’t wanted to be reminded about what a monster she was. Apparently, he had tried to remember it in the beginning, which was why he treated her like shit when they started their affair again, but he still loved Holly.

Which was probably why he hated Mara so much now. Mara had made him believe Holly was a monster, and Holly had let her because she hadn’t stayed.

The fact that Bernice had believed Holly had an abortion, just showed Holly exactly how manipulative Mara was. She wanted to kick herself for ever believing her.

“Are you listening to what I’m saying?” Jake pulled her back from her thoughts.

“Sorry, no. I’m concentrating on these stupid balls.”

He snorted as they stopped in front of a nearby restaurant.

He greeted the hostess in perfect German and she led them to a small table in the corner.

They sat down and Jake thanked the hostess.

“Are the balls driving you insane?”

“Not that much, but I’m sure you will drive me insane soon.”

  “You know me so well.”

The waiter came over and took their order. Holly clenched her knees together and stifled a moan as the balls shifted inside of her.

Jake shot her a grin while he ordered for them, and she reached a trembling hand for her glass of water and took a sip.

“This was a bad idea,” she whispered. She really wanted to take them out.

“No, it wasn’t. It’s the best idea I ever had. Trust me.”

She rolled her eyes and shook her head.

  “Are they making you crazy?”

“You are making me crazy. Can we just talk about something else?”

“Fine.” He winked at her as he took a sip of water, and the waiter arrived with a bread basket.

They both took a roll and their conversation shifted to their daughter and her school. Jake told Holly that Jamie had made a ton of friends, and that she was taking both ballet and karate. The poor thing was so busy during the day, that she was exhausted when bedtime rolled around.

It made Holly happy that Jamie could finally participate in everything she’d wanted.

According to Jake, she was adjusting well, and loved that everyone took turns watching her and driving her to her activities. It made it easier on Jake, because of his erratic work hours. And it filled Holly with joy that Jamie was happy—the joy in her eyes whenever Holly Skyped with her confirmed it.

Jake’s phone rang, interrupting their easy conversation.

He took the phone out of his pocket and looked at the screen. “Speak of the devil.”

It was early afternoon and probably time for school to finish.

“Hey honey bear.” Jake laughed at whatever Jamie said. “Okay, don’t speak too long,” he said and Holly gave glared at him as she took his phone.

“Hey baby, how are you doing?”

  “Mo
mmy!” Jamie shrieked and Holly had to move the phone away from her ear for a second. “Did Daddy give you all the hugs I sent with him?”

Holly chuckled. “Yes, he did and I will send you some back. I miss you so much. Tell me about your day.”

Jamie launched into a babbling rambling about her her day, talking about her friends and ballet, which she loved the most.

“There is this other sport that Aunty Ams think I would do great in. Can I please, Mommy?”

“Sweetheart, it’s too much. I don’t think you should—”

“But Mommy, it looks like so much fun. Daddy said it’s fine but said I should talk to you. Please, please, please.”

“Oh, he did, did he?” She glared at Jake, who was shaking with laughter. “Okay, sweetheart, I’ll think about it and send you my answer with your father.”

The waiter placed their starters in front of them.

“Thank you, Mommy! Love you. I got to go.”

  “Love you more.”

  Jamie disconnected the phone.

“What other sport does she want to do now?”

  “I have no idea.”

  “She said you do.”

“Well, I think she’s pushing her luck.”

“Jake,” she tried to scold him but it came out in a needy moan when the Ben Wa balls shifted inside her.

  “Fun, isn’t it?”

“No, it’s not really.” She took a huge breath.

“I’ll speak to her tonight. She wants to do everything. I can’t keep up.”

  “You should say no.”

  “I can’t.”

“I knew leaving her with you would be the biggest mistake.”

“No, it’s not. She absolutely love every second.”

“Yeah, I can only imagine. So, can we talk about Kate now?”

  “Do we have to?”

  “Yes.”

“It’s just… it’s stupid. I should’ve known she’s this type of person. Actually, I need to thank you. If I’d married her, I don’t think she’d sign divorce papers.”

“You would’ve married her when you were already thinking about divorcing her?”

“Yeah, just shows you how fucked up I am when it comes to you.”

  “Gee, thanks.”

“I didn’t mean it like that. I was just blind to the signs. Kate and I were wrong for each other from the start. You don’t know how happy I am that I missed my flight and got to meet Jamie. I don’t even want to think how bad it would’ve been if I went to marry her.”

“Yeah, how did you think that you were going to get me back again?”

He chuckled. “No idea, but I would’ve thought of something to make you crazy for me again.”

“You would’ve been married. Do you really think it would’ve worked?”

“Honestly, no. But I’d have hoped.”

“So, what’s going on with Kate?”

He shook his head. “She doesn’t want me to see Michael when Jamie’s around.”

  “What?”

“Don’t worry, I set her straight.”

“That bitch! He’s only two years old, he won’t even remember the time without Jamie. It’s Jamie who…”

“Relax, babe. I told her that.”

  Holly sighed. “I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t be. I hope no one else ever asks me to choose between Michael and Jamie. It would put me in a spot that I don’t want to be in. But Jamie is flesh and blood, Holly, she’ll always come first.”

She smiled through the tears filling her eyes.

  “Don’t cry.”

“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting for those words. When you told Ty that day you had a two year old…” She took a deep breath. “You have no idea how close I was to asking you what this boy had that my daughter didn’t. But then I saw you and Kate with Michael, and I came to my senses and decided not to. I should’ve just asked you the next day, but my mind had already made up so many shitty stories that I thought it was best that you were not in our lives. Jamie’s fairytale would’ve been ruined and I couldn’t do that to her. Now, whenever I think about it, I can’t breathe.”

“Hey, I’m not going anywhere. I meant every word I said when you asked me to stay.” He blew out a gush of air. “I know who I can live with, but I also know who I can’t live without. And believe me, it’s not Michael and Kate. I tried to think back how my life was without Jamie, and it gets more difficult every day.”

  “I know that feeling.”

“You are stuck with me, sorry about that.”

  “I’m not complaining.”

The conversation turned to Mara, but they quickly dropped that subject. Holly knew Jake wasn’t going easy on Mara, because he was waiting for Mara to tell him what he wanted to hear. Holly had no idea what it was, but it had to be important to him, otherwise he would have forgiven his mother.

Holly tried to focus on their conversation, but the balls were driving her insane. And every time she moved, she let out a moan, which made Jake laugh.

  “It’s not funny.”

“I agree. It’s driving me insane,” he whispered.

“Can we please just get the hell out of here?”

  “Yeah.” He nodded in agreement.

Jake gestured for the bill, barely able to contain the giddy grin.

The walk back to the apartment was excruciating. Holly took fast, deep breaths to ease the ache, and clung onto Jake’s arm.

“Holly, it can’t be that bad.”

“Next time, we’ll put these up your ass and see what you say.”

“I don’t think that’s what Ben Wa balls are made for.

She rolled her eyes, relief surged through her laugh and eventually they reach her building.

The elevator was shared with other people so Jake couldn’t even ease her aching need, but he took the keys from her. As they got out the elevator, he lifted her up over his shoulder and took her to her apartment.

Once inside, he attacked her mouth, but he didn’t strip her like she wanted him too.

Instead, he walked with her to the bed and gently set her down.

Her legs opened and he climbed on top of her, his mouth never leaving hers.

Jake moved down her body until he reached the apex between her thighs.

He shifted her panties to one side, then stroked his finger over her swollen sex.

His tongue and lips replaced his finger and sucked gently, and she bucked against his mouth.

  “You like that?”

“Fuck yes.” She tugged at her hair, her chest heaving with every stroke of his fingers.

He slipped her panties down her legs, and she yearned to have him inside her, but he had other ideas.

His mouth descended on her throbbing pussy, licking and sucking and nibbling. Holly clamped a hand over her mouth, biting into her skin. Her other hand reached back and grabbed a pillow to muffle her moans.

“I’m going to come,” she whimpered.

“Come for me, baby,” he said as he pulled on the string of the Ben Wa balls.

She groaned as her toes curled, her body shaking as he inched the balls out of her.

“Fuck, Jake!” she screamed and felt him laugh against her as he pulled the balls out of her.

“Oh fuck.” She ground on her teeth, breathing hard.

Her legs tensed around his head and he pulled back, standing up just enough to remove his pants.

He slammed into her and she cried out.

He moved slowly, every stroke causing her toes to curl.

“No, please, don’t do this shit. Don’t go slow. Jake, I need you. I need you to fuck me. Hard.”

He roared and moved faster and harder.

She gave herself over to the pleasure and screamed when the orgasm hit her.

He covered her mouth with his hand as he pounded into her, and all she could think was that this was so fucking right, so earth-shatteringly amazing.

Tears burned her eyes as her orgasm subsided and
her emotions overwhelmed her.

She barely noticed when he flipped her over and pounded into her from behind. She felt him stilling as he came, and then he collapsed on top of her.

The thought of getting pregnant fluttered through her mind, and she closed her eyes, praying that it wouldn’t happen. She didn’t want another child, not now, not so early in their relationship. They were still just figuring things out.

  JAKE

  * * *

“That’s what truly happened, Jake,” Mara said.

“You’re wasting my time,” Jake spat and got up.

  “Jake,” Blair said.

“No, Blair. This woman lied to me for five years, she lied to my father. And all she can say is sorry? I want an explanation! I lost a child because of her.”

  “Calm down, Jake.”

  “That isn’t fair!” Mara yelled.

“Not fair?” Jake scoffed. “Don’t talk to me about what’s not fair.” He sighed and looked at his mother. “You keep telling me you’re sorry, but you don’t mean it. This is the eighth session. We only have two left. Two more sessions, and if you don’t tell me what I need to hear by the end of this, then you’re out of my life.”

“What do you want me to say?” Mara sobbed. “Just tell me because I do not know, Jake.”

“That’s the fucking problem. Right now, I don’t want anything from you. You made my life a miserable hell hole. Time’s up.” He stormed out of the room and past reception.

Cido still tried to make another appointment but Jake just ran out the practice and down the steps.

  He was fuming.

Sorry. That was all his mother had to say. As if that would change anything. But she was only sorry for him. Not once did she mention how sorry she was for what she did to Holly. For what she did to Jamie. Jamie had to spend years without a father. He wouldn’t believe a word she said until she could own up to the destruction she’d caused.

He knew she was just saying all the things she was saying to get him to forgive her, but until she accepted that Holly was a part of him, there would be no room for her in his life.

At least there was a positive to look forward to. Jamie’s passport had arrived and they were leaving for Zurich in a few days. He’d get to see the love of his life again, and they’d be a family.
