Action in Christmas: An Alpha Romance Page 3

by Lindsay Amber

My eyes met Jaxon’s and he lost no time in untying me. The noise must’ve reached the other two because they came rushing back to the living room only to come face to face with Jaxon’s glock. It was fitted with a suppressor.

Everything happened so fast; the next thing I saw were two bodies laying on the floor with blood oozing from between their eyes. Jaxon finished untying me and we ran outside.

“Thank you so much,” I cried out.

“We can’t trust anyone. We need to get off the conservancy.”

There were Christmas decorations all over, providing light outside despite the dark skies and heavy snow.

“They must be at the admin building at the entrance. We can’t go that way. Our best bet is through the park,” I said.

“That must be over three hours of walking in dangerous territory,” Jaxon said.

“Either that or we end up with bullets, and not only us but some of our friends too. I don’t think Felix even knows who these guys are.”

  “You are right,” Jaxon said.

I liked how he agreed to my plans. He held my hands as we cut through the trees into wild animal territory. We ran fast until we couldn’t see the decorations anymore. Then we slowed down and took note of our surroundings.

“We are close to the road. Once we get there we can find help and move out of state,” Jaxon said.

We got to the road and luckily hitched a ride. A young couple were kind enough to help us with a change of clothes. We drove into Canada through the Alcan Highway. Jaxon had a cousin who knew someone on the checkpoint. We got to Alberta and got into a motel.

“I don’t think anyone can find us here for a while,” Jaxon said.

We were both tired, and after a hot pocket meal and a shower, we both fell asleep.

Early the next morning, I woke up to find Jaxon had brought breakfast and was checking the news.

  “Hey, morning,” he said.

  “Morning,” I answered.

“I had to talk to Felix and he said he didn’t know anything. I trust him. Some of the other guys got roughed up too but they held their own. They will receive federal help in investigating who the guys were. Meanwhile he sent us some cash and a location of a safe house just around here we can pitch around for a few weeks.”

I was relieved. I would rather live out here in Alberta than end up in a shallow grave somewhere. I looked at Jaxon and felt a sudden rush of excitement, appreciation and something else. Something I wasn’t willing to acknowledge until now.

  “Thank you.”

“No need to thank me. I’m glad you are safe.”

“I don’t know about you, but I could do with a hot shower about now. This place is cold.”

“Yeah that’s Christmas for you. You can even hear the carols from the nearby church. Once we settle into the safe house, we should get to know the community. I don’t want suspicious glances coming at us.”

I stripped off my clothes, and walked into the shower. It was warm and relaxing. I felt the warm water massage my aching muscles. I barely felt the draft of cold hair, or the door silently close behind. I felt the warm hands on my shoulders and the hot breath on my neck.

“I know this isn’t how you pictured it, but anywhere we go, will be heaven for me.”

I felt the same jolt going down my spine, branching at my bottom and racing towards my mound.

I felt the same towards him too. Nothing could separate him from me now.

I turned around, presenting my perky tits to him. He was rock hard and stabbing at my navel.

“I know a place you can put that,” I purred, running a solitary finger across his length.

He lifted me up, allowing me to wrap my legs around his waist. The warm water hitting his back, sending sprays all over.

“I know that place too,” he said as he reached down between us, took his cock and positioned it at my entrance.

  “Here is to new adventures.”

“To new adventures,” I moaned as he slowly penetrated me.

I closed myself fully around him, allowing him to take full control of me. If there was a way he could reach my heart through that route, I surely hoped he would find it. There he would find himself already waiting.
