“I would give you anything you desired, were it within my power,” Dinah replied, reaching up to stroke Beau’s face. His heart flipped over in his chest. How fortunate he was that this extraordinary angel had somehow managed to love him. “I love you, Beau. Not simply because you saved me many times over, but because of who you are. What you are.”
“Just as I love you,” he replied. “And I think it is debatable about who saved who.”
