Hunting for Clay Page 4

by N. J. Nielsen

Hunter bit the inside of his cheek to stop himself from laughing as Dextra’s mothering started to come out. “Is he in some kind of trouble?”

“Stop asking questions I can’t give you answers to. Let him come and tell you himself. All I will say he isn’t doing anything he could wind up in jail for.” He didn’t want his older sister fretting over this.

  “So where are we going?”

  § § § §

Why in the world had Clay taken up Angelo watching, especially here at work when he did nothing but serve customers, stock, and tidy shelves? He had sent Jayden off to get a drink with strict instructions to go nowhere near his dick of an ex-boyfriend. They had been watching Angelo for an hour now and it was as boring as anything. He was about ready to head home when he saw a beautiful young man walk in and wrap his arms around Angelo’s neck. His jaw dropped open when Angelo hugged the guy back. He was ready to call Marlowe to tell him that he was right as far as Angelo was concerned, when Angelo turned to his co-worker and said something.

Clay almost swallowed his tongue when Angelo turned and started walking the young man over to him. He was so busted. He guessed becoming a private eye was nowhere on his near future.

“Hey angel boy, fancy seeing you here.” He blushed profusely as they approached.

“Clay, I would like you to meet my brother, Dimitri. He is going to come and stay with us for a while,” Angelo said.

“So this is the big secret you have been keeping from Mar? Not that it is even a secret — the whole cleaning out the spare room thing kind of gave it away.”

Angelo nodded. “I didn’t want my parents coming after him. If he didn’t know too much about it then they would leave him alone.”

“That is the most ridiculous, idiotic thing I have ever heard. He has been worried as shit and all heartbroken because of you.” Clay was getting angry. “How would you have felt if Mar had have pulled that shit on you?”

“I fucked up, I’m sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing.”

Clay turned to the younger brother, “Hello Dimitri, it is nice to meet you.”

“Dimmy.” He held out his hand for Clay to shake. “Everyone calls me Dimmy.”

“Are you running away from home Dimmy?”

Dimitri’s face clouded. “I’m not welcome at home anymore.”

Clay’s heart broke at the saddened tone in Dimitri’s voice. He knew that feeling well. Okay, so maybe his circumstances were a little different as he was welcome at home; just not with Hunter by his side. “You poor thing.” He gave Dimitri a huge hug. “You come home with us and everything will be okay.”

“Yeah, look I have to get back to work. Could you take Dimmy back to the house and make sure he gets settled in? Tell Silver I will explain everything when I get home tonight.”

“You have a lot of crawling and making up to do, angel boy. I can’t believe his heart was breaking for nothing.” Shaking his head, he grabbed hold of Dimitri’s hand and walked in the direction of the food court. Jayden should have been back by now. “Your brother is a – oh fuck me sideways.”

Anger surged through him as his gaze zeroed in on Jayden getting badgered by his idiotic ex. Dragging Dimitri after him he stormed across the distance.

“What the hell are you doing?” He wasn’t sure if he was more ticked off at Bryan for cornering Jayden or Jayden for standing there and putting up with it. He decided Bryan needed his wrath more. “Haven’t you caused my brother enough pain? I can’t believe I am surrounded by such idiots today. Jayden we’re going.” He didn’t bother waiting for any protests as he grabbed his brother with his free hand and headed for the elevator which would take them up to the roof car park.

He let go as soon as the elevator doors closed. “Jayden meet Dimitri, he’s Angelo’s brother – Dimitri meet Jayden, he’s my brother. Now we are going home and I will introduce you to Marlowe, he’s Angelo’s boyfriend.”

“I know who Marlowe is,” Jayden defended.

“Not you, I will introduce Dimmy to Marlowe.” Clay rolled his eyes at his brother. “Why the hell would I need to introduce you to someone you already know? As Grandma always said,” he tapped the Jayden’s temple, “up here for thinking, and down there for dancing.” Clay ended by pointing at Jayden’s feet. “I swear, after the FUBAR’d day I have had I am so going to need a day at Ms. Melanie’s day spa. I think I will make Marlowe take me seeing as my fucked-up day is all because of him.”

“I did tell Ange he should tell Marlowe what was going on,” Dimitri tried to explain.

“Do you have any clothes we need to pick up?” Jayden asked.

Dimitri shook his head. “Nah, most of them are already at Ange’s place. I have been slipping them to him one outfit at a time so our parents wouldn’t realise what was going on.”

“Please tell me they didn’t try and marry you off like they did angel boy?” What the hell was wrong with parents these days?

Dimitri blushed. “Um no, I left before they found out I was gay. Angelo made me stay there until I turned eighteen. So today I left home.”

“Happy birthday,” both Clay and Jayden said at the same time. Pulling out his phone, he texted Hunter to pick up a present and a cake on his way home from work.

  § § § §

Hunter breathed out a sigh of relief. He had dropped Dextra back off at her car and she had taken the ring he had bought Clay. She had made him look at hundreds before they finally settled on a white-gold band; it had links etched around it and three small diamonds across the top. He knew if Dextra could fit the ring on her fingers than it would fit Clay, as he had gotten Dextra to suss all that out weeks before.

He was almost calmed all the way back down by the time he pulled back into the car park outside of Davenports Diner and walked inside as his phone buzzed. He smiled at the text message. Bring home gift and cake, angel boy is a dumbarse wanker, love Clay. He grinned. Angelo must have finally come clean.

Hunter glanced across the room and saw Damon Malone wave at him. Waving back, he headed to the table where Damon was sitting. “Hi, I didn’t expect to see you here today.” He said as he sat on the chair opposite his client. “Did we have a meeting scheduled for today?”

“I dropped in to see how things are going. I was wondering if you had anything you could show me, or had any questions for me.”

“I am fine. I can show you what I have been working on it is in my laptop. I’ve come back to retrieve it actually, I left in kind of a hurry before.”

“Nothing wrong I hope?” Damon asked in what seemed like genuine concern.

Hunter shook his head. “No, I had an airhead moment for a good reason. I finally bought my boyfriend a ring. His birthday is on Valentine’s Day and I am trying to make it special.”

“You’re going to ask him to marry you, aren’t you?” Damon said and his whole face lit up. “Do you need help with anything?”

“Well, actually,” Hunter began, “the place I had booked for the birthday-Valentine’s-hopefully engagement party cancelled on me about twenty minutes ago. They said they had doubled booked – I think it was more they backed out after they found out my partner was a man. I haven’t found another place as yet. Do you know of anywhere? Or would you be willing to let me hire out the diner for the night?”

A shrewd look came into Damon’s eyes. “Would you be willing to allow us to take photos and cater the affair? This is something Mr. Davenport and I have been discussing and this would be a great trial run.”

“It all depends on how much you are going to charge me for the photos and catering,” Hunter countered.

“I would have to talk to Arthur, but I am pretty sure I can get it for cheaper than you will find anywhere else. Do you have any special things organised?”

“Yeah I have. I hired a local band, Highfields Blues, to play. I was also thinking of getting all our friends and having it set up as if they were there for dinner on the same night. I am going to…”

  Hunter
leaned closer and for the next half an hour he explained in great detail all he had planned to make Clay’s day unforgettable before going and getting his laptop and showing Damon what he was working on. By the time he was ready to head off it felt as though a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He had hooked Damon up with Dextra so they could go over how much more they still had to go on the plans. But for now he had to still pick up the stuff Clay wanted and he was hoping later he could give Clay something else to make him feel good.

His phone buzzed, it was Clay again. Impromptu party bring drinks. He turned back to Damon. “If you don’t have anything planned, do you want to come back to my place?” He winced when he realised how it had sounded. “What I mean is, we are having a birthday party for our newest housemate. Dimmy turned eighteen today and Clay has decided he needs a party.”

“Clay sounds like a very nice and caring person,” Damon said as they walked through the doors.

Hunter smiled. How could he describe how perfect Clay was in his eyes? “Clay is the one person who — after I met him — I was not interested in ever seeking someone else. I knew from the moment I first laid eyes on him he was the one.”

“How did you meet him?” Damon asked as they reached his car.

Hunter threw his head back and laughed. “Would you believe me if I told you he was trying to get my cousin to go out with him?”

“Really?” Damon asked in what seemed to be disbelief.

“Yup, before I met him I honestly believed he was a figment of my cousin’s imagination. Then I met him and said to myself, ‘I want this man.’”

Damon frowned. “What did your cousin say when he found out you were dating him?”

“After introducing us, and then inviting Clay to eat breakfast with us, he basically told me, better me than him. Mind you, Marlowe was only interested in our neighbour’s nephew — his straight nephew.” Hunter couldn’t believe how easy it was to talk to Damon. “Now you have to remember, when you get to my place, neither Marlowe nor Clay know anything about his surprise. Dimmy probably won’t either.”

  “Why doesn’t Marlowe know?”

“Because he can’t keep a secret, so if Marlowe knows then everyone knows,” Hunter said honestly.

They decided to separate ways, Hunter to pick up alcohol and Damon to stop and get a cake of some sort preferably a cheesecake, as it was Dimitri’s favourite.

  § § § §

Hunter pulled up outside the house and honked the horn for someone to help carry the booze inside. He grinned when Clay came racing out with Jayden close on his heels.

“Where’s the cake?” Clay asked as soon as he had released Hunter from a bear hug.

“Damon is bringing it,” Hunter said.

“Damon is coming here? Why?” Clay asked.

“Um, I may have invited him around to meet you, so you can see there is absolutely no chemistry between us. I wanted you to meet the guy I will be working with closely and I wanted him to meet the love of my life.” Leaning down he devoured Clay’s mouth in a heated kiss. They broke apart as a car pulled into the drive behind them.

“Damon, come and meet my significant other and definitely better half. This gorgeous man is my Clay, so keep your eyes and hands off him, and the cutie next to him is his brother Jayden. Guys, this is my client’s project manager, Damon Malone. And the guy who bought the cake.”

They all shook hands. “I wasn’t sure what you wanted, so I bought two mixed berries and a chocolate mud-cake, they are only from The Cheesecake Shop. I hope it’s okay.”

Clay’s eyes lit up. “You brought mud-cake all is forgiven,” he said as he took charge of the dessert boxes, leaving the other three to carry in the alcohol.

Jayden shook his head as he watched his brother’s retreating back. “He was exactly the same when he lived at home. He always walked away carrying the lightest thing that needed moving.” Reaching into the back of the car, he lifted out a carton of Crown Lager. Hunter placed a bag of ice on top.

Hunter grabbed out the two cartons of Carlton Midstrength, leaving Damon to grab the case of Merlot. They could hear the music coming from the backyard as they walked around the side of the house. The old cement washtubs were already filled with ice and waiting as they broke open the cartons and shoved them into the ice. Looking around the yard there was about twenty people; it seemed the neighbours all got an invite so no one complained about the noise. He waved at some and spoke to others as he made his way into the crowd he introduced Damon to Dextra and Gene before he excused himself and went in search of his man. He passed a beer to Angelo when he passed by the barbeque. He was chatting with partygoers as he manned the grill. It was times like these Angelo was in yobbo heaven.

Wading through the crowd in the kitchen, he circled his arms around Clay’s waist and led him into their bedroom.

“What are you doing?” Clay groaned, when instead of answering him all Hunter did was press his rock hard and aching cock against his lover’s arse. “We have a house full of people. We can’t have sex; you know how loud we get.”

Hunter’s hands slipped around his front and started quickly unbuttoning Clay’s shirt before stripping it from his body. “I think it is about time we used another of our new toys and see how well it works.” He went and grabbed the ball gag from the toy box and dangled it from his fingers, chuckling lowly as Clay’s eyes glazed over. By the time he walked back across the room his man was completely naked. “Do you want it on all fours on the edge of the bed, or against the wall? The choice is yours, love. Just know once we start it will be quick; we can save the playing for later.”

Clay didn’t even answer as he walked over and placed his palms against the wall and stuck out his mouth. Hunter nudged his lips with the gag and waited for Clay to accept it. Strapping it firmly in place Hunter left him while he went and got the lube from the bedside drawer. He kissed the nape of Clay’s neck before biting gently. “Love, do you want a bite of pain with your stretching?” Hunter always asked first as he never wanted to hurt his lover. He wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he hurt Clay in any way. He bit Clay a little more forcefully as Clay nodded vigorously and moaned behind the gag.

Hunter lubed his fingers, rubbing endless circles over Clay’s pucker before thrusting two fingers deep inside. He waited mere seconds for Clay’s body to adjust before he finger fucked his arse until he could comfortably fit four fingers inside him. The way Clay pushed back against his fingers eased his worry over Clay hurting.

Hunter unbuttoned his trousers pushing them down far enough for his cock to spring free. He was larger than average in the cock department, so he used plenty of lube and the four fingers in preparation for the fucking he was about to give Clay. Pulling his fingers free he drove his cock in deep in one motion until he was bottomed out. Hunter stilled Clay’s hips so he didn’t come before he had even started and it was a close call. Clay’s arse always sent him over the edge.

“Hold on, love. Give me a minute and then I will fuck you through the wall.” He listened as Clay mewled; it was such a fucking turn on. Pulling out until only the head of his cock remained inside Clay’s hot body, he leant closer and whispered softly, “Are you ready for me?”

It took one nod of Clay’s head for Hunter to slam his cock home. His rhythm was hard and fast as Hunter reached around and grabbed Clay’s hard length it felt silky smooth against his palm. The precum leaking out of his cock was used to lubricate Hunter’s hand. Twisting the nob like Clay loved sent his lover over the edge. Hunter grabbed Clay’s hips as he pounded into his arse.

“You are so fucking hot, I love you. You are my world.” Hunter babbled as he slammed home one final time and emptied his load deep inside his lover’s body. Fuck, he loved this man. Reaching into his shirt pocket, he replaced his cock with a butt plug. “Keep this in until we can get you to the bathroom and cleaned up.” Hunter removed the gag and held his lover in his arms until Clay was willing to move. Looking at his watch, he beamed. It
had taken ten minutes to fuck his lover into a puddle of goo.

“Love you,” Clay said as he wound his arms around Hunter’s neck.

“Love you too, baby. We need to get you cleaned up and dressed. We have a house full of people out there waiting to mingle.”

“You go and get me a washer. I’ll stay here on the bed,” Clay said as he walked with wobbly legs to the edge of the bed and collapsed face-first across it. “I need to stay here until my legs start working again.”

Hunter reached down and gave the plug in his arse a twist and relished in the way Clay moaned. “I will be back in a second to help you, love.”

  “Okay,” Clay said groggily.

Hunter cleaned up as best he could on a t-shirt he had grabbed from their hamper before fixing his own clothes and going to get the warm washer he needed for his baby. He didn’t really stop and talk, as he didn’t want to leave Clay alone too long. This was one thing he did. After fucking Clay like a demon he always made sure he cleaned his lover off thoroughly. He never wanted Clay to wake up with dried cum all over him. These tender little rituals were what made their love as strong today as when they first met.

After cleaning off Clay’s body, he cleaned up the mess on the floor, and tossed the washer onto the lid of the hamper. Walking over, he sat on the bed beside Clay. “Love, do you want me to remove the plug or do you want me to leave it in?” he asked, giving it another little twist.

“Mmm in. Want to be ready for after we kick everyone out. Want you to fuck as soon as we are back in the room.”

Hunter helped Clay to his feet, helped him put all of his clothes back on and made him decent to be out in a party full of their family and friends. Hunter loved knowing every time he touched Clay’s arse tonight it was going to make the plug rub over his prostrate. He wondered how many innocent — or not so innocent — touches it would take to make Clay come in his pants in a crowd of people. He didn’t know, but he was definitely willing to find out.
