Dirty Little Secrets: A Dark Bully Romance (Kings of Bolten Book 1) Page 12

I thrashed and shoved at my captor as I turned in his arms, deciding I’d been an idiot to shake off Levin.

  “Easy, Bianca. It’s me.”

I stopped fighting long enough to see Fallon staring down at me. I breathed out and swallowed.

“What do you want? Did Hail send you—”

“I just wanted to see how you’re doing,” he said, brushing a lock of my hair away from my face.

I swallowed and stared back at him. “I’m fine.”

“Are you?” He stepped closer. “You’re with the kings, Bianca—”

“If you’ve come to tell me Hail will welcome me back with open arms, then you’re an idiot. I’m not going back.”

“That’s not why I’m here. I just wanted to make sure you’re OK. I don’t want you to go back to Hail.” He released my arm and leaned against the wall, his blazer undone and his dark hair messy.

I licked my lips. “I’m all right.”

“Good.” He gave me a gentle smile.

Deciding he probably wasn’t going to kill me, I moved closer, a question nagging at me. “Why were you so nice to me when the others weren’t?”

He shrugged. “No one deserves that shit. Hail’s a dickhead.”

“But you’re a lord. You’re in his crew.”

“Yeah, well, we all make mistakes, right?”

  “Are you saying—”

“I’m saying nothing. I just wanted to check on you. That’s all. The kings aren’t much better than we are. Has Dominic hurt you?” He frowned, his eyes locked on mine as he waited for an answer.

  I shook my head. “No.”

He nodded and gave me another smile. “I’m glad. I’m not a fan of the kings, but as long as no one is hurting you, that’s all that matters.”

  “Really?”

“Of course. Seeing the things Hail was putting you through nearly made me lose my sanity. In fact, we got into it right after that shit went down in his room. After you left, we fought.”

“You fought? Why would you fight? You all got what you wanted.” I crossed my arms over my chest and stared him down.

“Because he forced you to do those things,” he seethed through gritted teeth. “Do you think I liked watching that happen to you? Fuck, Bianca. If I could’ve stopped it, I would have. He would’ve just made it worse on you and accused you of some fucking bullshit that’s not true. We had to endure. I’m so fucking sorry you had to do that.”

“You liked it though,” I said softly, remembering how he’d guided my head as I’d sucked his dick. How he’d groaned as he filled my mouth. Something about it made heat pool between my legs even now. I swallowed, not knowing what the hell was wrong with me. I’d just gotten away from the lords and here I was entertaining the idea of . . . what? Doing that again with Fallon?

“Of course, I liked it.” He let out an exasperated sigh. “You’re fucking gorgeous, and you suck dick like a pro. But it was wrong. I want to apologize for it. I’m not that kind of guy. The kind who forces a girl to do that shit. So yeah, I liked it. That doesn’t change what it was though, and that’s fucked up.”

I nodded, not sure what was happening in the pit of my gut as butterflies bounced back and forth. Maybe I’d gone momentarily insane. “Well, thanks, I guess.”

He sucked on his bottom lip for a moment as his eyes raked over me. “Hail will kill me if he finds me with you.”

“The kings will kill me if they find me with you.”

“Right. You’ll be safe going to your dorm. Hail and the guys are with Stella right now, probably taking turns on her.”

“And you’re here, breaking the rules.”

“I guess I am.” He stepped closer to me until we were nearly touching. “But I’m not the greatest at following them as of late.” He reached out and thumbed my bottom lip, a frown on his face.

What was happening? Fallon was the nice one. What the hell was he doing? What was I doing? Maybe this was part of Hail trying to get me killed with the kings. Send Fallon who he knew was kind to me to get me into trouble for consorting with him.

I backed away and swallowed the butterflies.

“Thank you. I need to go.” I turned and began walking away.

  “Bianca,” he called out.

I stopped and looked at him over my shoulder. “Yeah?”

“Nothing.” His smile shook. “Be safe, OK?”

I gave him a curt nod and left him in the dark recess of the buildings, wondering what the hell had just happened between us. There was fire. A connection. Something that would most certainly get me killed if the kings found out about it.

But maybe that was part of the plan.

  Twenty-Two

  Bianca

“I thought our deal was if I had sex with you, you’d protect me. I didn’t know it included cleaning up your damn messes,” I snapped at Dominic as I fluffed his pillows before swooping down to grab his shoes so I could put them in his closet.

“Am I not making sure you’re protected?”

“You’re making sure I’m annoyed,” I said, closing his closet door. “Can I go now? I cleaned everything. I have to do Levin’s trig homework before morning.”

“Is that what he has you doing?” Dom smirked, setting his whiskey on the small table beside him and unfolding his long form from the leather chair he sat in.

I grunted and watched as he approached me, undoing his cufflinks as he closed the distance.

He stopped in front of me and ran his knuckles along my cheek. “Want me to make it up to you?”

“How?” I stared up at him as he peered back at me without a hint of emotion on his face.

  “However you want, wasp.”

“Maybe you could come clean my room,” I said, suddenly nervous.

He let out a soft chuckle before he lifted me up like I weighed nothing at all and set me on his bed. Wordlessly, he placed his hand on my chest and pushed me back before he dropped to his knees and tugged my butt to the edge of the bed.

  “Dominic—”

“Shh,” he said, pushing my skirt up. “If you’re going to open your mouth, you may as well be screaming my name instead.” He dragged my panties down my legs and tossed them to the floor before positioning my thighs on his shoulders.

“You’ve been a good girl. Good girls get rewarded when I own them.” And with those words, his mouth met my heat, making me arch my back and claw his blanket. He lashed furiously at my clit. Sucking. Nibbling. Licking. I saw stars when he pushed a finger into me and hooked it, pressing against a spot that made me feel like I was going to rocket off the bed.

In. Out. In. Out. Suck. Bite. Lick.

  Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

I came hard with a loud cry, my fingers tangled in his hair as he ate me through the pounding orgasm and into the next, never slowing his pace.

A few minutes later, I lay trembling in his bed as he pulled away, his mouth glistening with my release.

Before I could say a word at the surprise, there was a knock on his door. He got to his feet without bothering to wipe his mouth and yanked it open. I sat up and made sure my skirt was pulled down. My panties were too far from me to get to before Vincent and Levin stalked into the room.

“No need to ask what you were doing,” Levin grunted, taking in Dom’s glistening lips and my guilty expression.

“Man’s gotta eat.” Vincent clapped Dom on the shoulder and went straight for my panties. He scooped them off the floor and grinned at me.

  “Lose something, B?”

“Give me those.” I held my hand out to him, but his grin widened as he stuffed them into his pocket like a damn creep.

“If you want them, you can come get them from me tonight. I have a job for you.”

  “Laundry?” I asked dryly.

He grabbed his dick through his pants and winked at me. “It is dirty, but it’s not laundry, B.”

“Why’s your dick dirty?” I countered, irritated with his teasing. I was already having a hard enough time
getting Fallon out of my head not to mention Dom doing what he just did.

“Because it hasn’t been used in a few days. It gets dusty from non-use.”

“So find someone to fuck,” I said, getting to my feet and wincing at the cool air beneath my skirt.

“You?” He raised his brows at me.

“Knock it off.” Levin stomped over to Dom’s whiskey, something I didn’t understand how he was allowed to keep on campus without getting into trouble over it. But he was a king. He could do anything he wanted it seemed.

“Why? Jealous, big guy?” Vincent sank onto the bed, dragging me back down beside him.

“Not of her. It’s clear she’ll fuck in exchange for anything anyone will give her.” Levin poured his drink.

We hadn’t had a lot of conversations, Levin and I, and that was mostly due to him being a raging asshole to me. But I was annoyed.

“Maybe you should follow in my footsteps. Maybe someone could pull that stick out of your ass while they’re down there.”

Vincent let out a loud burst of laughter. Even Dom smirked, a unique look for his serious face.

Levin turned to me, glaring. “Easy, little girl. You might turn up dead.”

“Don’t do me any favors,” I snapped back as he downed a glass of whiskey. “You’re all talk and no action. All moody and broody like someone killed your puppy. Or maybe they killed someone you loved.”

Levin growled and in the blink of an eye was on top of me, pressing me into Dom’s bed, his hand tight around my throat.

“Don’t fucking talk to me about shit you know nothing about,” he snarled, tightening his grip.

I bucked beneath him, panic oozing through me as I clawed at his hands.

“You’re another fucking whore here to take whatever you can to get ahead. A fucking D’Angelou, trying to get whatever she wants.”

Stars dotted my vision. So much for Dominic protecting me. He was going to let Levin kill me.

My body felt heavy as my eyelids fluttered. My hands fell away just as Dominic and Vincent pulled him off me.

I choked and gasped, hauling in mouthfuls of air before I darted off the bed and stumbled, falling to the floor.

“Easy, B,” Vincent said, coming to help me up.

I shoved him away from me, my eyes burning.

“Fucking liar,” I rasped at Dom who was staring back at me.

Levin tugged at his own hair beside him. Dom had sworn to protect me. I guessed I was wrong thinking it included from his own crew.

  “B, come on—"

“Fuck you.” I shoved Vincent away, my throat aching. My voice sounded like shit. “Fuck all of you.”

  “Bianca,” Dom’s voice boomed out.

I shook my head at him as I backed away. “No. I’m leaving.”

  “Vincent will walk you—”

“I’m not a fucking dog.” I jerked the door open and slammed it closed behind me and rushed away.

From one hell straight into another. Fucking figured.

  Twenty-Three

  Levin

Bianca wouldn’t talk to me. Hell, she wouldn’t talk to any of us. I’d gone too far. I’d snapped on her. I was smart enough to know I’d fucked up. Dom had punched me in the face afterwards, putting me in my place, and Vincent had shouted obscenities at me.

I didn’t know how to fix things. I’d almost killed her.

Remorse was eating me up inside. I hated that I felt it for her. Fucking D’Angelou. I didn’t know how to make things right. Or if I even should. I was a piece of shit for doing it. That wasn’t me. I mean, it was, but it wasn’t, and for that, I was kicking my own ass.

  Fuck.

“Let it go,” Dom said, watching as Bianca approached us with her head down.

Her blonde hair cascaded around her in soft waves. It made my heart beat harder.

I hated that she was so fucking beautiful. Or kind. I wanted her to be a grade-A cunt just so I had a reason to hate her as much as I wanted to. Truth of the matter was, she was a sweet girl. Since being put on wasp watch, as Vincent had dubbed it, I’d witnessed her helping underclassmen struggling with homework. I’d seen her stop walking to pick up things people had dropped. I’d listened while she encouraged her friend, Aubrey, to wear a dress she was nervous about. Bianca had hyped her up.

  Fucking bitch.

I grunted at Dom, my gaze in the same place as his. Vincent stared at her too.

It had been a week since my meltdown. The bruises on her neck had faded. Dom and Vincent were getting more pissed by the minute at her silent treatment. We’d taken to trailing far behind her just to stick to our promise while not interfering with or annoying her.

My hands balled into fists as Austin Lane, a douche from the basketball team, approached her. She stopped, listening as he talked, a smile on his face. She beamed back at him as they exchanged words.

“What the fuck?” Vincent growled, glaring in her direction as Austin reached out and touched her shoulder before pushing her hair off it.

My guts tightened as she laughed at something he said before she backed away. Dom got to his feet and gestured for her to come to us. We didn’t usually make her eat lunch with us. We let her sit with Aubrey and her two friends.

  Today would apparently be different.

Bianca stopped at our table, not saying a word.

“What the fuck was that?” Dom demanded.

  She shrugged.

“You don’t fucking talk to the trash around here, Bianca,” Dom continued.

“What did he want?” Vincent leaned forward.

When she didn’t answer, Dom let out a snarl which made her flinch. “Fucking answer,” he shouted, slamming his hands on the table.

A few students looked in our direction before turning to pretend like they weren’t tuned in.

“He asked me how I was. Asked me if I’d like to go see a movie and grab din—”

“He asked you out?” My voice was softer than I meant it to be. Deadly. And pissed the fuck off.

She glared at me, not answering.

“Did he, wasp? Did he ask you out?” Dom demanded.

  “It’s just a movie. I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to make new friends—”

“You can make any friends you want,” Vincent said. “Just not ones who want to fuck you.”

A muscle thrummed along her jaw.

“Do you want to eat, wasp?” Dom’s voice was measured and controlled, signaling he was about to lose his shit, as he approached her and took her lunch tray from her hands.

“What are you doing?” she demanded, trying to snatch her lunch back.

“You want to eat with the nobodies and trash, then you can eat on all fours like a fucking mutt.” He dropped her tray to the floor. The salad bounced around, some landing on the ground.

“You’re fucking nuts if you think I’m going to get on all fours and eat like a dog,” she said, her hands balled into fists.

“Then get my mother fucking straight jacket, wasp, because I’m dead fucking serious.” He lowered his voice so much Vincent and I had to lean in to hear him. “Remember our deal. You do as you’re told or you can crawl back to Ivanov. On your hands and knees right here and now, or I’ll fucking put you on them when I leave you with him.”

She trembled where she stood, obviously contemplating what she was going to do. Then she dropped to her hands and knees beside Dom’s feet, all that blonde hair cascading forward to cover her face. It didn’t take a genius to know she was crying.

Something about that made my cock harden in my pants.

Dom took his seat once more as students stared. I caught Ivanov across the room, looking gleeful as fuck as Bianca remained hunched over at our feet.

It was one of his guys who stole my attention though. Fallon Vasiliev. He glared in our direction like he was going to pounce on us.

“He looks pissed,” Vincent said, following my gaze.

Dom cast a quick look in Fallon’s direction before placi
ng his glass of juice in front of Bianca on the floor.

I nodded wordlessly before focusing my attention back on Dom and Bianca.

  “Eat,” Dom commanded softly.

  “Fuck you,” she whispered, shaking.

“You’ve been giving us the silent treatment for days now. It baffles me that you’re surprised to find yourself at our feet.”

“Your pet monster tried to kill me, asshole. How do you want me to react?”

“Maybe with a little respect. After all, it’s us who are keeping you safe and alive.”

“Safe from who?” She finally tilted her head up to look at us. Her makeup was smeared, and her eyes were bloodshot from her tears. “You’re just like them. Maybe worse.” Her voice broke, and she stared back at her tray, her face once again covered.

Frustrated, Dom rubbed his eyes and sighed before grabbing a French fry off his plate and dropping it onto hers. Vincent followed suit and added a handful. Some bounced off her head as her body quivered.

“Don’t act like a bitch, and you won’t get treated like one.” Dom straightened in his seat and glared at the sea of students still observing us. Most of them were smart enough to glance away, but a few kept staring, including Fallon.

Aubrey shot us death glares from her seat, but it was whatever. We had to get a handle on Bianca before she got a handle on us.

That was just how these games were played.

  Twenty-Four

  Vincent

A week after the cafeteria incident, I was closer to getting fucked by Dom than by Bianca. She’d gone completely silent after the scene Dom made in the cafeteria when she talked to that douche from the basketball team. Bianca’s punishment had been a cakewalk compared to Austin’s. He’d ended up getting the shit kicked out of him by me and Levin behind the school on his way back from practice. We’d broken his nose and probably a couple ribs.

All in the name of love, or at least Bianca.
