About the Author
Upon graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, R. P. Rioux spent two decades working in the Hollywood entertainment industry, rubbing shoulders with struggling dreamers and successful achievers. Pitching it all to circumnavigate the globe, he fell in love with the world's varied cultures, and learned that we all have far more in common with each other than we have differences. A lifelong admirer of pop music girl groups, he found the form perfected in Korea. Now living with his wife in Cascadia, he believes nothing has the power to unite, inspire, and heal like music. Swimming Through the Dawn marks his literary debut.
