A voice sounded from the courtyard. “Stop, stop!” A middle-aged man with a bruised face rushed out and shouted, “You guys have foreclosed my house and my shop. Isn’t it enough to capture me? Why are you capturing my daughter?”
“Ning Donggu.” The black-robed man sneered. “The money you owe my young master has already reached 30,000 taels of silver because of the interest. Your house and shop might not even be enough. Besides, once your shop is sold to repay the debt, you will probably owe more than 30,000 taels of silver.
