Emmeline took a sip and smiled. “Where are we heading first?”

Alistair shot her a sly grin. “Louisiana.”

Thank you so much for reading!! If you’d like to be the first to hear about new books and updates, you can sign up for my newsletter at www.melodypersonette.com. You can also find all my books on Amazon.

If you enjoyed this book, it would be super helpful to me if you could leave a review. Reviews have a big impact on the life of a book (and a series) and allow me to keep writing stories you love!

  Acknowledgements

Of course, I have to start by thanking my mom for another awesome cover. She always makes my books look so amazing and I am always so thankful to have such a talented mom who’s willing to do covers for me.

Thanks yet again to Noah for being my alpha reader and listening to me for years talking about this book.

Thanks to Oliva Cornwall who edited Sterling Silver for me. You’re comments and feedback have been beyond helpful and invaluable when it came to revising and editing this book. You pointed out some big things for me and really challenged me when it came to the plot of this book. I don’t know if this book would have ever been publishable without your help.

I have to say a huge thank you to The Vampire Diaries. To Julie Plec and the other writers of the show and all the actors who brought my all-time favorite characters to life.

Really, Sterling Silver wouldn’t have been written without The Vampire Diaries. TVD got me through some of the hardest times of my life and I don’t know if I’ll ever have the right words to convey how much that show means to me and how much Sterling Silver means to me. This may sound weird since it’s a paranormal romance full of vampires, but this book came straight from my heart. I poured all my love and gratitude for every character in TVD into each and every word I wrote in this book.

So, thank you Julie Plec for inspiring me with your incredible show. I wouldn’t be the writer I am today if not for TVD.

Also, I suppose I should say a thank you to Stephanie Meyer, who’s Twilight made me fall in love with the paranormal romance genre to begin with. Edward and Bella were the ones who opened that door for me. And thanks to Holly Black for writing my all-time favorite vampire book, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, another book that truly inspired me as a writer.

And, of course, last but not least, thank you to my God for giving me this gift of writing. For giving me the ability to think through my fingers and to tell stories that hopefully inspire and entertain others.
