Aisling Wilder
Aisling Wilder writes epic Urban and High Fantasy from her home in the west of Ireland, just on the edge of windswept Connemara. Aisling's favourite stories were always tales of the supernatural. From Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm, to the stories of C.S. Lewis to Tolkien to more modern stories of Princes and Princesses, elves and fairies and magic spells, she was transfixed. So much so that she would think about the stories long after they were read, carrying on in her own imagination with things that could have happened after the ‘Happily Ever After’. It was a natural progression to becoming a writer from there.
Aisling has always been fond (and a little afraid!) of the dark and the creatures of the night, and is thrilled to include two tales for this anthology. Visit Aisling’s website for more information on her books, blog posts and stories.

Ine Gausel
Ine Gausel has always loved writing and making up his own stories. A lot of his childhood was spent writing roleplays with friends, and as he got older his interest progressed into tabletop games. Whether he is out trail riding with his Icelandic pony, cruising down the river in his boat, or listening to his favorite musicals, there is always a story brewing in his mind.
Now, the only thing left to do to complete your reading experience is to introduce the Norwegian way of ending a fairytale – because not all fairytales have happy endings. Snip, snap, snout, and then the fairytale was out.

Shasyra Kavat Sayari is pursuing a degree in English Literature. Though she coordinated Blood and Betrayal, she didn’t exactly compile the stories in Blood and Betrayal—she collected authors, and together they worked on their stories from concept to finish together. Shasyra was involved in every process of creating the anthology, from critiquing to editing to formatting. An aspiring editor, she hopes to work on further anthologies with more incredible authors.
