His index finger slid inside me, and I gasped. “I’m okay with this rule. It’s a good rule.” A small whimper escaped my throat as he added his middle finger and delved deeper. “It’s also a rule you’re already breaking, Sebastian Roman Beckett.”
He gave me a wicked grin and seconds later his boxers had joined my ruined panties somewhere across the kitchen. Good riddance, I say.
“Fuck me,” I groaned, taking his hard cock in my hand and caressing his velvet smooth skin.
“That was the plan,” he joked, gently biting the flesh of my shoulder then kissing the side of my neck.
I gasped as he grabbed my earlobe between his teeth, sucking at it and sending all kinds of tingles shooting straight back down to my aching core. It was official. My brain had turned into a sex induced mush pile.
Wrapping my legs tighter around his waist, I pulled Beck closer, guiding him into the right position then pushing my hips forward impatiently. “Please, Sebastian,” I begged, desperate to feel him inside me. “I need you. Please, baby, fuck me.”
For a second, he had that evil look in his eye that suggested he wanted to tease me more, but another wiggle of my hips saw his resolve crumble, and he thrust deep.
The force of his hips meeting mine pushed me back a little on the countertop and I needed to release my grip on Beck’s neck. Instead I dropped my hands to grip the edge of the polished marble counter as I spread my knees wider and let him in farther.
“Holy shit, Butterfly,” he panted, pausing with his forehead against mine for a second then kissing me hard enough to leave my lips swollen and tingling. “Hold on, baby.”
It was all the warning I got as he gripped my ass in his hands, yanking me right to the edge of the counter and then fucking me hard and fast. Exactly how I needed it.
“Oh my god, yes,” I cried out at some stage when he did something with his hips and an orgasm crashed over me without any freaking warning at all. It took me so much by surprise that my grip on the counter slipped and we both would have probably ended up on the floor if I hadn’t flailed and grabbed back on fast.
Still, the back of my hand clipped the coffee pot and it hit the ground with a loud smash.
Fuck it. Who needed coffee when you could wake up with multiple orgasms from Beck’s magic dick?
He snickered as I screamed my way through two more orgasms and muttered some smart-ass remark about how he’d warned me to hold on. I don’t know. I’d lost all sense of sight and sound at some point when he’d found my G-spot and clit simultaneously.
Eventually—in time with maybe my fourth orgasm—he found his own release, grunting and panting as he pumped into me.
For a long damn time, the only sounds in the kitchen were our intertwined heavy breathing and the pounding of my own pulse inside my head.
Head back against the high cabinets in the kitchen, I sucked in air as fast I could, trying to get my breath back. “You’re going to kill me,” I said, wheezing between each word. “Like … I swear to fucking god one day my heart will stop mid-orgasm.”
Leaning forward, Beck buried his head into my shoulder and neck, breathing me in, his body still hard inside of mine. He’d come, but I knew Beck could go again almost instantly. Was his superpower, for sure.
A knock on the door had a low rumble escaping from him, and he straightened. I groaned as he stepped back. My body was aching in a dozen delicious places, but apparently, we needed to answer the door first before any more fucking was to occur.
“In the bathroom, Butterfly,” Beck said, leaving the kitchen for a minute to grab sweats before striding back out. I watched his bare, retreating back, and my pussy clenched again. Fucker was too goddamn sexy. Pants riding low, Vee visible, bronze muscles everywhere.
Knowing he was commando under those sweats had me desperate to rip them off, but he was already moving to the door.
I sighed, and wiggled to get down, closing the bathroom door just as Beck opened ours. “What?” I heard him say.
I cleaned up the best I could, actually remembering this time to throw the towel in the hamper. As I passed the mirror, I caught sight of the marks across my skin. I was healing, but it was slow. At least most of the pain was gone now.
I went to leave, pausing at Beck propped in the doorway. He was watching me, an expression I couldn’t read on his face. “Who was at the door?” I asked.
A few more steps and I was in front of him. “Dylan.”
He leaned forward and pressed his lips to my shoulder before more kisses across my neck and along my jaw. He finished with my lips. Long, soul-destroying kisses, that had me forgetting everything.
“Don’t let her take this from us,” I all but begged, melancholy hitting me unexpectedly. “We need to fight to the death to keep this, Sebastian.”
His hug was immediate. “We will fight, baby. We will fight and fucking win.”
His confidence fueled my own, and when he released me, I strolled past into my closet. Second attempt at getting dressed today.
“You didn’t say what Dylan wanted?” I called. We usually all had breakfast together, so it was probably that, but I liked to check. My anxiety at receiving bad news was at its peak.
Beck followed me. “Delta meeting. This is a pre-vote meeting and all current board members and heirs have to be there.”
Something cold trailed down my spine. I hadn’t seen Catherine since I caught her making out with her brother. Since all of the horrible shit I’d found out about her. I didn’t think I’d have to see her again until the vote … but here we were. “Is this a good idea?” I said softly. “What if … we fuck up and they somehow know what we’re planning.”
Beck’s grin was not nice. “We won’t fuck up. This is a game we’ve been playing for years.”
I shook my head in frantic motions. “Not me, though. I barely have a Delta face. What if I fuck it up?”
He cupped my face, slowing my agitated head movements. “You won’t,” he said simply. “It’s going to be okay, and soon, it will all be over.”
Over. That might have been my new favorite word.

Beck
When Riley stepped out of her room, I fought the urge to wrap my hands around her body and drag her back in there. She wore a power suit, one I’d never seen on her before. Black, with a deep red dress shirt, that cut low across her cleavage with the tiniest hint of lacy bra visible.
Fuck. I needed all my focus and concentration today, because this was where the mind games and power plays started, but with Riley dressed like that, her tight skirt skimming over her curves, black heels making her long legs look even longer...
“Trying to kill me, Butterfly?” I asked, stepping closer, needing to touch her.
She was the best and worst kind of drug. Completely addicting and intoxicating, and when I’d thought that I’d lost her for a short time, I knew I would not survive without her.
“You need to stop looking at me like that, Sebastian,” she said, her voice husky with need, “or we won’t be making a meeting.”
An annoyed grumble shot from me, “I’m not sure that’s a bad thing at this point.” I kissed her softly. “I have something for you,” I said when I managed to stop kissing her fucking perfect mouth.
Her eyes lit up. “Oh, I love things. What did you get me?”
I just stared. She was breathtaking, and I knew how fucked I was, but it was too late to change it now. This woman owned every part of me.
“Thought you might like a vest to match mine,” I said, trying to focus, which was not helped by Riley’s hands running in under my suit jacket and up over the black vest. “I got them for all of us—it’s an heir uniform. It also has a holster in it for your gun, which makes it useful as well.” And I would not let her go in there unarmed.
Her face lit up. “Fuck yes! Okay, hang on while I put it on.”
I handed her the light-weight vest, which was black to match her suit. She hurried off, reappearing a moment later, her gun
in hand. After making sure the safety was on, I showed her how to holster it and then made sure the vest was securely fitted. “Perfect.” Just as I was leaning down to capture her lips, there was a heavy thud on the door.
On instinct, I shifted Riley behind me and had my gun in hand as I strode forward.
Jasper and Evan didn’t even blink at the barrel facing them. “Time to go, our ride is here.”
I nodded, slipping my gun back into the holster under my own black jacket.
“I fucking hate that these assholes want to control every aspect of their meetings,” I said, holding the door open for Riley, who strolled out.
Jasper ran his eyes down her body, starting at the tip of her shiny black hair before he let out a whistle. “Damn, girl. You look sexy as fuck!”
Like he just remembered himself, his gaze shot up to me, and he gave me a sheepish smile. I didn’t return his smile with anything other than a single curl of my lip. Jasper, Evan, and even Dylan—my fucking pathetically in love best friend—were the only guys I could tolerate around Riley. And only to a certain point.
Dylan thinking he was in love with her was starting to push my buttons. But I fucking got it. I really did. Riley was without a doubt the most beautiful, brave, strong, smartass, perfect woman in the world.
But she was mine. And I didn’t share.
Not even with my best friends … my brothers.
Dylan would just have to find his own.
“I’m nervous,” Riley confessed just as Dylan exited his apartment, wearing a dark blue suit. “I don’t have a good feeling about this.”
Jasper slung his arm around her, almost knocking her off her heels.
“Jas,” I said warningly.
He winked at me. “I’m just comforting her.” He turned to face Riley. “Don’t stress that pretty little head about this. It’s all standard … or so we’ve heard. Prelims for the vote. They want to make sure everyone is on the same page.”
Riley didn’t look convinced, but before she said anything about that, the door to my old apartment slammed open and a giggling Eddy stumbled out, Dante’s arms around her, keeping her steady.
Jasper’s face was awash with anger as he stepped forward. “What the fuck?”
This development didn’t surprise me. I knew Eddy had visited Dante in prison. I knew she was fucking hung up on him. And I knew she would take none of our warnings about not trusting him.
“Edith,” Jasper snarled. “Are you out of your fucking mind?”
She swung around, eyes wide as she realized we were all standing in the hall between our apartments. “Shit. You fucking s-scared me.”
She pressed a hand to her chest, but didn’t move away from Dante. Who still had his arms around her, only this time it was protective.
“You know he was accused of hurting a woman before Katelyn, right?” Jasper continued, pushing forward, concern for his sister clouding his normal judgement. “What the fuck was her name, Riles?”
“Hailey,” she whispered.
Jasper nodded. “Right. Do you want to be his next victim?”
Dante was looking at Riley now, and even I could see the fucking hurt on his face. “You believe I could do something like that, Riles?” he asked softly, and I was about half a second from stepping in between them so he stopped staring at her like that.
Riley shook her head. “Why do you think I never bothered to ask you about her? I know you’d never hurt any woman, and especially not one you loved.”
My Butterfly was way too fucking trusting. Dante had deceived her for most of their lives. Sure, he’d done so to protect his family, but it showed that he wasn’t above looking out for himself and his interests over Riley’s. Or Eddy’s.
“What happened?” Eddy asked, turning toward Dante.
He lowered his gaze to meet hers, and I liked the fact that there was definitely something there between them. Made it less likely I would have to kill Riley’s friend because he couldn’t keep his fucking hands off her.
“Catherine got to her,” he said simply. “She didn’t want me distracted, and she knew Hailey meant something to me, so she paid her off. It was a not very subtle warning to me that she owned me. My life. Every single part of it, and if I ever strayed, she would destroy my world.”
I knew this game. Delta played it a lot. “Catherine made the charges go away too?”
Dante snorted cynically. “Yeah, because I fell back in line.”
We were all just good fucking soldiers. Well, no more.
Jasper looked slightly placated, the red fading from his cheeks. “If you so much as break her nail. Or fucking cause her to cry, I will come for you, asshole,” he said, pointing a finger at Dante. “I can kill you and get rid of your body before anyone even notices you’re missing.”
Eddy glared, but surprisingly, Riley didn’t. She was fast acclimatizing to our life.
Glancing at my watch, I schooled my face. “We’ve got to go. The car is here.”
“Where are you going?” Dante called after us.
Nosy fucker.
“Delta business,” I said, and then I wrapped Riley in under my arm, keeping her close. I pressed my lips to her head, and breathed her in, calming myself down. It worked in one way, but in the other—the light floral scent of her skin cream had my dick hard and ready to fuck her right here.
If only we were alone.
“Delta faces on, boys,” Jasper said, already having forgotten about his sister. “We’re about to walk right into the lion’s den.”
“Everyone armed?” Dylan asked, and I could see that he was armed to the fucking hilt. Three guns, multiple blades, and at least one heavy duty taser. None of the weapons would be obvious to most people, but I was trained to assess my targets.
Right now, Dylan was a one-man killing machine.
Scary motherfucker.
“Yep, got my babies,” Jasper said patting his long wool coat.
“Me too,” Evan added.
“You know I am,” I said.
“Yes!” Riley said, sounding excited.
Dylan’s smile was a touch too fucking familiar as he watched her, but now wasn’t the time for this conversation again. It could wait. Today we needed to be a seamless team. And it definitely made me feel better to know she wasn’t walking around in this world unarmed. We would be there for her as much as possible, but as recent situations proved, sometimes the enemy got around us.
Not today though. I knew exactly who the enemy was, and I would not let my guard down for a second.
The mental war had already begun. And knowing Delta, the physical war wouldn’t be far behind.

I was surrounded by four tall, gorgeous, suit clad dudes. The sort of guys that were scary and lethal, but also sweet and kind. This should have been the start of some wicked fantasy, instead we were walking into a nightmare.
My gut would not calm down, not for the entire elevator ride, or for the twenty minutes in the black car with its blacked-out window, or even when Beck’s hand dropped to my bare thigh, caressing it up and down in a soothing and arousing manner.
I couldn’t shake the darkness.
At one point, I actually wondered if I was going to throw up, but when I got the window down and some fresh air filtered around my face, the sensation subsided.
Beck didn’t say anything comforting, maybe he didn’t want to actually lie because none of us knew how this was going to go, but he did keep his arm around me, occasionally pressing his lips to my head.
When the car finally pulled to a halt, the five of us remained where we were for a minute.
“We stay close,” Beck warned, his voice low. “No matter what they do, don’t let them separate us. Especially not Riley.”
“None of us!” I bit right back. “If we’re going down, I’m going down with all of you.”
Jasper nodded. “Family.”
“Always,” Evan added.
Beck’s lips smashed into mine for a moment, and I ga
sped into the kiss. It was rough and perfect, and there was a scary feel of goodbye to it.
“I love you,” I whispered. Before he could say anything, I turned to the others. “I love you all. Don’t do anything stupid. Promise me.”
Whole fucking lot of them thought they were invincible.
For once, no one joked around, they just nodded. “We promise, Riles,” Dylan said, and then he opened the door.
They clearly had this planned, because Beck caught my arm, making sure he exited first. Then he shut the door in my face.
I swung around to Evan and Jasper. “What the fuck is happening? Are they going in alone?”
Evan patted my shoulder. “Calm yourself, Bulma. Vegeta just wants to play the hero and make sure everything is safe before you walk into danger.”
I narrowed my eyes on them. “Are you fucking kidding me? Right after I told them not to do anything stupid.”
Jasper laughed, like the hyena fuck he was. “Yeah, did you notice that Beck agreed to nothing. Asshole is sneaky.”
Asshole was sleeping on the couch the moment we got back home.
The door opened before I could say anything else, and I glared daggers at Beck as I slid across to get out, ignoring the hand he held out for me.
Smug bastard just laughed. I really should shoot him with my gun, but unfortunately, I had grown quite fond of him.
“So … give it to me straight … are we expecting trouble today?” I asked quietly, taking Dylan’s arm when he offered it and not missing the smug look he shot Beck. Whoops, maybe I should use Jasper if I want to annoy my brooding boyfriend. Less chance of anyone getting killed.
“Not necessarily,” Dylan answered, walking with me into the shiny polished marble lobby of Delta’s Jefferson building. “But this close to the vote, and with everything else that’s happened lately...” he trailed off with a shrug, and I nodded.
“Better safe than sorry,” I murmured, agreeing.
“Always be prepared,” Jasper added, throwing me a playful wink. “I learned that at Boy Scouts.”
