The Cursed Eye Page 26

by T L Brevis

Delving into this medium, I found it incredible how I could simply sit down at my desk and type away, and that being all there was to it to making my story come to life.

I do not have much else to add on to that topic, however, I will give you a little bit of information on me as a person (if you happen to be interested in the least)

Well, as you may have guessed, I do value my privacy and anonymity quite heavily, hence the pen name, however, I will give you a few tidbits about myself. I am a 15 year old from Asia who has adored media of all varieties throughout my entire life, and all of those incredible stories were what inspired me to tell my own.

Enough about me though, I would like to give my gratitude to the usual people, namely my family, friends, and all else who have helped me through this process, but most importantly, I would like to give my thanks to all of you, the readers, who decided to give this book a chance and have actually made it to the end (hopefully sufficiently entertained).

Now, lastly, I would like to talk about something a little more important, being information on the next installment of this series. I intend for The Cursed Eye to be a three book series. As for a release date for the last two, I would like to give myself as generous of a time period as I possibly can, because I hate to miss deadlines, and would much rather be safe than sorry, so to be safe, I ask for you to expect the next book about a year after the release of this one (although it might be sooner), and hopefully around the same time for the third, although I will be more definitive on that in the afterword of the second book.

I wrote this first book in about five months, from conception to completion, however, there are many factors that go into being an author, as I have learned, and therefore, I do not know if the process will go as smoothly as it did for this first book for the next, so that is my rationale behind this estimated deadline (as well as wanting a small break, sue me). I hope you can all understand, and will be able to wait at least relatively patiently for this next book, as I truly do want it to be a worthy follow up.

Once again, thank you so much for giving my book the time of day, and I can only hope that you will continue to do so for my future works!
