The Billionaire's Blue-Eyed Girl
Page 3
My jaw clenched. The man better not have hurt her. Or tried it on with her. Or offended her. Honestly. If he’d done anything to cause my Snow White any kind of distress, I swear I’d not be held accountable for my actions. ‘What is it?’
‘I just checked the bookings system.’ She was whispering. Whatever it was, must be bad. ‘And he’s booked up the entire hotel for one night next month…’
‘Go on,’ I urged.
‘The thing is, I’d never heard of the client before. There’s no listing of them in our CRM database. The diary is void of any meetings with them so I did an internet search.’
Good god, the girl was thorough. ‘And?’
‘And, I found them. Only I didn’t think it was the type of business you’d want to have the Belmore name associated with.’ She paused. ‘Mr Belmore, he’s booked a swinging party.’
I choked. ‘A what?’
‘A swinging party. It’s a party where—’
‘Yes, yes, I know what a swinging party is.’ I laughed before she clarified it for me. ‘Are you certain?’
‘I am,’ she confirmed. ‘I found their website. The thing is, they cater to the clientele you want to bring to the estate. They’re very elite. Very expensive. But because of this, the media are always hunting them down. And when they find them they publicise the venue, the attendees, everything down to the filthiest little detail of what happened. The last venue went bankrupt within months.’ She sighed. ‘I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you said that I was to call you the instant I found him doing something you wouldn’t agree with. And I assume you wouldn’t be complicit with this booking.’
‘You assumed correctly,’ I said. ‘Listen, I’m a few minutes away. Don’t tell him you know. Let me handle it. Keep your head low. Listen to me, Tabby,’ I said. ‘You’ve done the right thing calling me. I’ll be there as quick as I can.’ I hung up and pressed my foot hard on the accelerator, swearing and cursing at the stupidity of my half-sibling.
Tabby
He said I’d done the right thing, but I wasn’t sure. Glenn would not take Conrad’s knowledge of his dealings very well. I didn’t have to wait long before finding out exactly how pissed he’d be because the moment I ended my call with Conrad the door to my office crashed open and in the space stood Glenn. He was mad. His nostrils flared and his face flushed beetroot. He must have been listening in.
‘You fucking snitch,’ he spat in utter fury. ‘Who the fuck do you think you are calling lover boy about my mother-fucking business.’ He stormed into my office and banged his hands on my desk, sending papers and pens flying.
Fear hurtled me out of my seat. ‘Don’t you dare come any closer.’ I ordered. How I summoned a stern voice was beyond me because every single nerve ending in my body was on high alert. Fight or flee. I wanted to flee, but that wasn’t an option because between myself and safety was Glenn’s bulky frame.
‘I knew it,’ he spat banging the desk again with such ferocity his sleeked back hair tumbled in front of his enraged eyes. ‘I knew the prick put you here to spy on me. Why else would he recruit a brainless airhead with zero experience?’
It was my turn to see red. ‘Airhead? Who the hell do you think you are?’ I found the strength to stand tall and jut my chin upwards. ‘There’s only one idiot here, and that’s you. What were you playing at? Taking bookings guaranteed to ruin Wallington House. Is that what you want? To ruin it?’
It took a moment for Glenn to register that I was standing up for myself. That I had the courage to stand my ground and put him in his place. When it did register, it was as though a sinister being possessed the man. ‘What the fuck do you know about it? That booking is a gold mine. There’ll be attendees at that party with more money and power than you could ever imagine. They’ll bring more business. It’ll put us on their radar and their friends’ radar and their friends’. The networking potential is massive and you’ve only screwed it up with your frigid little sensitivities.’
Frigid little sensitivities. That was the final straw. I couldn’t help myself anymore. I’m not sure what brought it on. It could have been fear, anger or pure disbelief at Glenn’s stupidity, but I laughed. I laughed hard. I laughed until tears rolled down my face and I clutched my stomach in pain. ‘Networking?’ I said between recovery breaths. ‘What are they gonna say to their buddies?’ I adopted a macho tone. ‘Hey buddy, if you’re ever in the south of England pop over to Wallington House. Yeah, I went there the other week and watched my wife being shafted by a dozen men. They put on a great breakfast too.’ Then I laughed again. But not for long. Because in the blink of an eye Glenn launched himself towards me and wrapped his hand around my throat. Pinning me up against a filing cabinet with such ferocity the contents inside rattled.
‘What are you doing?’ I said. My voice scratchy under the pressure of his palm applying excruciating pressure to my windpipe. ‘Get off me.’
‘Fuck you,’ he hissed and applied more pressure. Lifting me clear off the floor with his brute strength. ‘You do not get to take the piss out of me. Nobody gets to take the piss out of me.’
That was it, my time was up. My eyes watered in agony and relaxation began to wash over me. Then, a shadow appeared behind Glenn’s frightful physique and suddenly his hand was no longer on me and he was tossed across the room.
‘What the fuck.’ A male voice hollered.
It was Conrad. He was here. Saving me.
I slumped to the floor to the sound of flesh pummelling flesh. Glenn hollered and screamed in agony but Conrad didn’t let up. He hit the man. And hit him. And hit him. Until the only sounds filling the room were those of pitiful whimpers from Glenn and breathless exertion from Conrad.
‘Get out,’ he shouted with a voice more powerful than a lion’s roar. ‘Get the fuck out of my hotel and don’t you dare ever return.’
I heard the door close and felt Conrad’s presence by my side. ‘Tabby,’ he said, gripping my shoulders with his powerful hands. ‘Tabby, speak to me, are you ok? Speak to me god damn it.’
I opened my mouth to speak but my throat was far too sore to compose words. He wrapped a powerful arm around my body and assisted me to my feet. I stumbled and could only slump into his embrace. Perspiration dampened the front of his shirt. I rested my head against his sweaty chest and relaxed into the sound of his heart thundering in his chest.
‘Can you walk, let me sit you in a chair.’ He guided me towards a sofa in the corner of my office and sat me down. Like a puppet, I let him guide me to wherever I needed to be. ‘Wait here, I need to get you a drink.’
He disappeared, but only for a second, before he sat beside me on and placed a cool glass in my hand. ‘Drink.’ He ordered, and I did. It burnt like crazy and caused me to choke, which burnt even more. ‘Do you need an ambulance, should I take you to the hospital?’
‘No,’ I said, my voice so hoarse I didn’t recognise it. ‘I don’t want to go. I’m fine. I just need a moment to pull myself back together.’
‘Did you blackout? If you lost consciousness, then I need to take you to the hospital.’
I looked at him. In the month I’d known Conrad I’d witnessed a lot of expressions on his rugged face but never had I witnessed this one. It was concern mixed with anger mixed with something else. ‘No, I’m fine. I just need some time to recover.’
He raised to his feet and paced the office. ‘This is my fault,’ he declared, tugging at the roots of his hair. ‘I should never have put you here. I shouldn’t have told you to call me. I knew the man was a loose cannon, but I still put you in danger.’
I shook my head. ‘No, Mr Belmore—’
‘For the last time will you call me Conrad,’ he snapped.
I flinched and in a split second he was crouched down before me.
‘Tabitha,’ he reached forward to stroke my hair. ‘Look at me, please.’
I did as asked and raised my face to his.
His intake of breath was sharp. ‘I didn’t mean to s
nap, I wouldn’t hurt you, ever. That excuse of a man must get his violent streak from the other side of his family. Belmore men, real Belmore men, never raise a hand to a woman. Especially when they…’ He paused and cupped his hands around the nape of my highly sensitised neck. ‘Especially when they’re as sensational as you.’
My stomach did a one eighty, and I dropped my eyes to my knees. He felt it too. The desperate burn.
‘Please don’t turn your beautiful face away from me, Tabby,’ he whispered. ‘Listen, I’ll get you away from here. Far far away. To a place where you can forget all about this ordeal.’
He stood and held out his hand to mine, which I accepted. He pulled me to standing and as I stood, his arm snaked around my waist, drawing me close. My body didn’t argue. I didn’t argue. ‘I’ll go to check that he’s left the property then I’ve some things to arrange. Make sure you’re ready to leave in one hour.’
I nodded and watched as he slipped out of the office, wondering what the hell we were playing at and if it was a good idea.
Chapter Five
Conrad
‘I need the conservatory prepared as though royalty was visiting,’ I ordered to my head of staff at my private estate, Rochester Manor. ‘The food is to be of Michelin standard, and the room sparkling clean and warmed through. I want all Wi-Fi, CCTV, and telephone services in the vicinity disabled. And before we land, all staff are to leave the property. I’ll pay for you all to stay at a hotel of your choice.’
I knew my list of demands could be construed as conceited but it was a special occasion, and I didn’t want any distractions. I wanted it to be just me and her. More importantly, I didn’t want Tabby to feel uncomfortable or on show. Tabitha Kendal had class coursing through her veins. Slow and steady was the name of the game with a girl as exquisite as she. And I had every intention of taking it slow and steady. Besides, there’ll be plenty of time for her to meet the people who will soon be her staff.
‘Send Derek out to warm up the chopper straight away,’ I continued with my list of requirements. ‘I want him here in an hour. No later. Sooner if he can.’
Once I’d made sure that both Glenn and his car had left I made my way towards the private quarters within Wallington Estate to shower and change. I wanted to make sure that before I took Tabby to places she’d never been before I smelt good enough for her. But first, I had a job to do. I needed to make sure that when the time came, I could ravish her with a clear mind and empty nut sack.
I disrobed, freeing my cock which had hardened to the point of pain. I needed relief. I turned the shower on and whacked the temperature up. I waited for the room to fill with steam before stepping under the water and as the hot liquid cascaded down my back images of her flooded my mind. Only this time they were so much more tangible. I knew where it would happen. I knew when it would happen and I knew how it would happen. I groaned as my fingers wrapped around my girth. The hot water scorched the broken skin on my knuckles where I had shown Glenn what happened to men like him. I pictured myself unzipping the skirt of the business suit she wore. I could see her underwear. Vivid red. It was always vivid red in my imagination. Correlating with the outfit she’d barely squeezed into the first time I’d clapped eyes on her. I could almost feel the slickness between her legs as she parted those sweet thighs to grant me full access to her folds. Unable to take any more of the visions, I tightened the grip on my cock as I drew closer to climax. Then it happened. So quick. I roared to the heavens and my legs nearly buckled beneath me as rods and rods of cum erupted from my cock, decorating the tiled wall before me. Never, ever had I cum so rapidly. Was it the knowledge that my girl was also preparing herself for what was to be the beginning of something both exquisite and very, very horny.
Tabby
Like Conrad before me I paced the length of my office. One hour he said. One hour until what? He said he would take me away? But where? And why couldn’t we just jump in his car and go? I’d often thought about his car. His two-seater Porsche. I’d thought about dropping my face to his lap and taking his dick in my mouth as we drove, at full speed, down the motorway. I’d imagined swallowing his load, every drop, and then wallowing in the appreciation in his eyes. Well, that wouldn't happen now. Not with my throat as bruised and inflamed as it was.
Then it hit me. I knew what to do. I’d call my housemate, Rowan. She always knew what to do in this type of situation. She’s a predator in the first degree and often despaired at my lack of sex life. I yanked open my desk drawer, retrieved my phone and speed dialled her.
She answered in a flash. ‘Hey, Tabs, what’s up, babe? It’s not like you to call me from work,’ she paused. ‘Is something up? Did that cocksucker of a boss do something?’
We’d spent countless hours discussing my predicament over a bottle of wine, about how I was stuck between two warring brothers and what would come of it. ‘There’s nothing to worry about.’ I said, but my voice was so thick it was obvious that something had happened. ‘Not anymore anyway,’ I confessed. ‘Yes, I bore the brunt of Glenn’s anger but Conrad was here and he told him where to go. Using his fists as a mode of communication.’
‘No fucking way,’ she spat. ‘Tell me more.’
‘There’s nothing else to tell, it’s just that…’
‘That?’
‘Well, now Conrad has told me to be ready in an hour and I don’t know what ready means. He says he’s going to take me somewhere but I haven’t got a clue where.’ For the first time since Conrad left the room, I looked at myself in the mirror. Bruises. Yuk. Not a good look.
Rowan squealed. ‘Holy fuck, Tabs. You’re finally gonna screw Mr Sexy-Moneybags.’
I prickled. ‘What? No! No. He just thinks I need some space from here.’
‘Come on babycakes, our bedrooms are right next to each other. Do you honestly think I don’t hear you calling out his name night after night after a spot of light-fingered work?’
I blushed. So she did hear.
‘Sit tight,’ she said. ‘I’ll be with you in ten minutes with an outfit that’ll make his eyes pop and turn you into an uncontrollable siren.’
***
‘Ta-da!’ Rowan burst into my office less than ten minutes later carrying her emergency date preparation kit. When she looked at me her hand shot to her mouth. ‘Holy fuck, Tabs, What did he do to you?’
I shrugged. ‘I told you, I bore the brunt of his anger.’
She walked over and ran her fingers across the bruising. ‘I’m sorry, doll. No amount of makeup’s gonna cover that. Have you got a scarf of anything?’
I shook my head.
She took a deep breath. ‘No matter, with what you’re gonna be wearing his eyes won’t travel much higher than chest height anyway.’
My stomach dropped. ‘Oh my god, Rowan. This is my boss we’re talking about here. What the hell have you brought?’
She unzipped the bag and presented me with a dress. One of her dresses. A hot-red mini dress with a neckline which plunged lower than the depths of hell. I’d watched her leave the house in it many times, and those nights she never came home until morning. ‘Good job I had this bad boy dry cleaned this week,’ she said gleefully.
‘Rowan, I thought you’d grab something from my wardrobe? What the hell is Conrad going to think when he sees me wearing that?’
‘With any luck, he’ll be done with thinking and ready for action.’ She continued fishing through her emergency kit and, piece by piece, pulled out the rest of the outfit. Sky-high heels, the smallest underwear I had ever seen in my life, teardrop earrings, a necklace with a chain so long it would fall slap bang in the middle of my cleavage. ‘Besides, your clothes are all boring,’ she said.
‘They are not!’ I argued, flinging my arms across my chest in protest. ‘I’m not wearing your stuff, it’s tarty.’
She also thrust her arms across her chest and furrowed her brow at me. ‘Fine, it’s up to you. You can go wherever it is he’s taking you in a starchy old business suit or,
she held up the dress once more. ‘You can show that man what you’re really made of.’
I slit my eyes and opened my mouth to argue when a sound stopped me from saying anything at all. A chugging sound. A continuous chugging sound. Which was getting louder and closer. We exchanged glances before rushing to the window to see what it could be. A helicopter. A big one. Pristine clean and bearing the Belmore family logo. I looked at Rowan and Rowan looked at me. Once more she dangled the obscene dress before my eyes and this time I grabbed it. She was right. It was time I showed Conrad Belmore exactly what I was capable of. To hell with professionalism.
Chapter Six
Conrad
Christ on a cracker, the girl was going to make me cum again in a flash. I’d knocked on Tabby’s office door and expected to find her in her usual business attire. Don’t get me wrong. She looks like a fox in whatever she wears, but fuck me sideways, she’d morphed from sexy office worker to out-and-out fire cracker in less than an hour.
I gulped. ‘How the hell did you…? You’ve not swiped Superman’s telephone booth have you?’
Horror flashed across her face. ‘It’s ok, isn’t it?’ She inspected the barely there dress. ‘It’s not too much? I can change if you want me to?’
‘No, no,’ I held my palm up in protest. ‘I absolutely, categorically, do not want you to change. At all. You look perfect.’
Perfect was an understatement. My cock was twitching at the vision of her and memories of that first encounter flashed across my mind. The dress wasn’t much less scandalous than the horny little devil's costume she’d worn that evening. Her breasts sat like two perfect mounds beneath the hot red material of the dress. A necklace sparkled in her cleavage. Teasing me. Daring me to touch it and in doing so touch her. The hem of the dress was almost as high as the neckline was low. And her legs, her delicious legs, smooth and milky, sleek and strong were bare. Bare enough for me to slip my hand up her skirt and have free access to her heat.
