The Captive Mate Page 3

by C. R Corbin

I can still remember the night of my abduction.

I was walking through the parking lot to my car, as soon as I got to the vehicle I felt something strike the back of my head and my vision was enclosed by this great glowing white light. Seconds after that I came to, dazed and confused inside that cell. I had nothing at home, my friends likely missed me but I wasn't that close to them, or anyone for that manner.

That's why the way I looked at this man was so peculiar.

The way he moved, the way he held me, it all evoked this feeling of want, of need inside of me. I wanted him to hold me as he did, I wanted him to caress me and tell me that everything was going to be okay. Even now his red eyes were surveying every inch of the building, his blue skin shining as we inch closer and closer to freedom. The ship opens and the men rush in, I feel the burn of some plasma near my leg and look down to see that a bolt had just barely missed cutting my leg off. He drags me on and I feel us begin to lift.

The ship's interior was one large room with a couple seats in the front, two turrets were attached to the back. Off to the side were straps and seats that could be pulled out of the ship for us to sit on. Kagi runs to the front and flips some switches, he shoots me a grin before he does so and I smiled back. The man seemed to be glowing with optimism and joy. Koros was a bit more severe, he glares at me before we begin to lift off and rocket into the sky. Osorn guides me to the straps and ties me down, he shot me an affectionate gaze but soon pulled himself away, something about me bothered him yet he still looked at me with those same eyes, those eyes of......weakness, of some sort of passion.

"Alright, now all we have to do is fly out and we'll be in tip-top shape. " said Kagi.

"I don't think working for these Harkanians is a good idea. Let's stick to the Grozoans, nice assassinations as far as the eye can see." said Koros.

But Osorn wasn't distracted by any of that.

"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you did they?" he asked me and I shake my head.

"No i'm fine...I never really got the chance to thank you for saving me. I really mean it." I said to him.

"I know.....i'm just glad that you're safe." he said.

It was if I knew this man my entire life. When I look into his eyes I get this sense of acceptance, of love that hasn't existed in my life for such a long while. He glances at me and smiles but does no more than that. I wanted to grab his head and lean in to kiss him but it was highly likely that he would refuse. Perhaps this was just his nature but I sensed something more going on, a duel of spirits or perhaps a reunion. One soul and two bodies and all of that jazz.

"Guys?! They’re trying to trap us with magnetic beams, I should be able to avoid them but you'll need to hold on." shouted Kagi, we were in mid-air when it happened. They began firing a collection of these beams at us. Apparently they were supposed to hold us in place for capture, gripping our ship with a strong magnetic field.

"I thought that they didn't even care this much! How the fuck are there this many people ready to capture us?!" hollered Koros.

"Hold on, hold on!" said Kagi, he tried to launch us into hyperspace as we reached the edge of their airspace. We were almost in the clear when one of the beams hit our hull, taking out one rocket.

"What the hell?! Did the beams malfunction?! They're supposed to trap us, not blow us up!" shouted Koros.

"We'll just readjust course. We can still do this!" said Kagi.

"Fuck, fuck, get on the guns Koros!" shouted Osorn as he let go of me, I held onto some straps on the wall while the two men ran to the back to fire.

  But it was too late.

In all of the confusion another energy bolt struck and nearly tore the entire vehicle apart. I slam against the wall and I feel us start to descend. We fall quickly and swiftly, I hug the flooring as the men shouted, there was a fire, there was broken glass and rogue energy blasts still hitting us. All of this before my vision became consumed by blackness.

  CHAPTER THREE

  Osorn

"Helen! Helen where are you?!" I called out but she was nowhere to be seen.

Then I tried to call my team.

  "Koros! Kagi!" I shouted out.

  There was no response.

I see something shifting in front of me, the metal hull of the ship had snapped open, it had split in two upon impact but somehow I was still alive and soon I knew Helen was as well as I saw her standing up in the distance. She gets to her feet and looked over at me, grunting and sighing while struggled to stand. Poor girl had been through a lot.

  "How are you?" I asked.

"I've been better. Go check on your team." she remarked. I looked around in shock, I was sure we would have been surrounded by his soldiers at this point. It was like some invisible entity was protecting us, someone with a vested interest in our survival.

Tough girl, she would need to be if we had any hopes of surviving this.

I look around, calling for my team yet there is no response. After a couple of seconds I begin to fear the worst, my stomach sinks and I wander around for a brief while before I see Kagi, keeled over. I immediately assume the worst and run over to him but it wasn't him that was in pain.

  It was Koros.

"C'mon don't you die on me you dour fuck. We need you." grunted out Kagi, he seemed to have a piece of shrapnel stuck in his stomach but Koros was much worse. His entire lower body was cleaved off, blown off during the explosion.

"We have to go Kagi, c'mon, there's nothing we can do." I said to him.

"NO! Goddamnit i'm not leaving my brother behind." said Kagi.

"C'mon, let's go, c'mon." I said and gripped his wrist, dragging him while he wailed for his brother the entire time. Those two have been together since birth, they've had one another and i've had them for many years and now, just now did they finally separate.

  This mission was a disaster.

"C'mon, we have to find shelter quick." I said to the girl, she nodded and dragged her feet, her eyes locked with Kagi for a brief moment and he lunged at her, in his mind he probably blamed her more than anything but now was not the time for that. They would be here shortly, we would need to find shelter. I wander over to the nearest highway and strangely a cab was already parked there, seemingly waiting for us, I offer him 2000 credits to take us far away from here, to the other side of the city, to a piece that belonged to Kaiso's counterpart, another slum lord that was not of the same level of power, still rather threatening however.

I hoped that it would be enough.

We are dropped off at a rather indiscreet looking hotel, I laid Kagi down on the bed and told him to muffle his voice. I stripped off my armor and his, grabbing a spare towel and placing it in his mouth. I looked into his eyes and frowned while gripping the piece of shrapnel and spraying it down with med gel.

  "Fuck!" He shouted.

"Shhhh." I said before dragging the piece of shrapnel out and filling the rest of the hole with the med gel. He seems to calm a bit and I took the moment to walk into the bathroom and speak to her. She sat there on the rim of the bathtub, shaking her head and shivering, she looks at me and attempts a smile but it doesn't work.

"So what now?" she asked me.

"Now we......we have to find a way out of here first of all." I said.

"How do we do that?" she asked.

"Well we need to sneak on one of the cruisers getting out of town, I don't know how we're doing that but I suppose we could get one of the gangs around here to free us. They should be able to do a pretty good job." I said.

"So that's it? Just find a way out through one of the crime bosses here?" she asked.

"Well we are in one of their territories, finding a way out here shouldn't be too much of a hassle. I'll figure it out." I said, she nodded, her eyes suddenly glazed over and she stared at the piece of shrapnel, I keep my serious expression even if I want to soften up.

"....I'm sorry about your man." she said.

  "I kn
ow, I am too." I replied, leaning against that wall while her fingers dance over her knees. We both stood there in silence for a bit and I thought of Koros. He was a fine soldier and more importantly….a good man.

And yet despite this....my thoughts kept on travelling back to her despite the rather grievous situation.

I imagined the soaking mess in between those legs. I imagined how I would spread her legs and fill her with my size, my ample size that would throb as I slipped into her and flicked her clit under my fingers. I wanted to suckle those curvy breasts and group that ample ass, I wanted her so badly, I wanted her more than anything. To feel this lust at such a dark time was shameful. What was wrong with my mating gland anyways?

"It's been so long since i've washed up. I must look like a mess." she said.

"Nonsense. You look fine human. More than fine." I said, she noticed that I was shirtless, armorless as it were, she gazed at me and licked her lips. Her eyes dart over my abs and my chest, she bites her lip and blushed before diverting her gaze.

"Back home people thought differently I guess." she said, sliding her fingers over her shoulder, checking for scars, checking for any wounds that may have been hidden from her eye. I raise an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"I mean......they just didn't really think that i was good enough. The men on my planet never paid me much attention." she said.

"Really now? Humans are a rarity on this side of the galaxy so i'd like to know. How was Earth?" I asked her without missing a beat.

"I mean...it was nice but kind of dull. I didn't really feel like I was going to be anywhere in life, it was the standard marry and then settle." she said, I stared at the ground for it was such an alien concept to me. I had been wandering my whole life, I had always wanted to settle but eventually I accepted that my fate would likely lie in constant struggle.

"Do you want to go back?" i asked her.

"Yes, of course." she gives a curt reply and I divert my eyes. I feel my neck once more, when she said those words it was like a wound directly to the soul, like part of me was now missing because she said that to me.

"What did you do back home?" I asked her, sitting down on the bathroom floor.

"I was an office worker. It was really boring, all you really do is process a bunch of numbers. It was much better than life out here however, much better." she said.

"......I'm sorry about what they did to you girl, nobody deserves such a fate." I muttered with sorrowful eyes, she only nodded.

"It's fine, really I'm not super bothered by it at all.......it was so horrible." she breaks down and gripped my chest, she leans in and I coo into her ear, something inside of me told me that this was definitely my mate even though that went against all logic. I hold here there, letting my instincts take over, were this any other girl I would have asked her nothing and kept her at a distance but she....I was drawn to her.

  "You're safe now." I said.

She smiled at me and nodded, her tears brushing my pecs and she nestled into my muscles. I pressed my face against her mess of blond hair, she was so beautiful, so fucking sexy. She was driving me mad with desire as I feel my crotch slide against the thighs, my hardening member dashing over her stomach while she merely smiled at me. She stroked my cheek and looked into my golden eyes, her mouth open slightly before she pulls away. I relax my breathing, steadying while she still holds me, her hands hooked around my hips, her hands dashing over the scars on my back and feeling me out.

"What about you? Where are you from?" she asked me, she pulled away and despite her dirt covered face and disheveled state, she is still the brightest thing i've set my eyes on.

"I'm from a planet called Jzar, far from here. It is a desert world with massive sandstorms that uproot entire villages. It is quite beautiful though, the sky stretches as far as the eye can see and the moon and sun are in perfect harmony. My people are proud, tough, that was one of the reasons we make such good mercs. Because of our resilience and aptitude in battle we often leave the planet in order to seek out contracts." I said.

"And the men hunting me? What are they?" she asked.

"Harkanians.....they are wealthy and powerful, resourceful beyond belief. Many of them turn to crime which is why you're here now, you would fetch a pretty good price on the market, being a pure human and all, I know of no other surviving human specimen, most of them die on the way here." he said.

"....Is your employer one of them?" she asked.

".....Yes. He was one of your buyers but the man here, a man named Kaiso interfered. He intercepted it and took you into his custody, we're here to take you back to him, as much as it would disgust me." I said, I couldn't lie to her. For some reason when I looked into her eyes all I could feel was....sorrow and empathy. She brought out a side of me that I didn't even know existed.

"I see....it can't be worse than the prison here right? What is this place anyways? A ringed city?" she asked me and I nodded.

"Yes, yes that's right. Setopolis, city of the sun and the dead. It hovers around a star, a giant ring of buildings, manufacturing plants, and forts. It was built by a Harkanian colonist as a monument to....well himself I suppose. It is grand but most of the city is decrepit, the only good section is on the far side of here where the aristocrats live. The entire city is powered by solar energy, it makes no sense in my opinion. It would have made much more sense to just colonize a nearby planet but some men want to flaunt their power." I explained.

"And where was I located?" she asked.

"That was one of their many holding cells. Why they didn't just take you out and deliver him to the boss himself I don't know but I suppose there's a lot that we don't know at the moment. We wouldn't have been shot down or accosted in such a way if you weren't an ordinary prisoner, even if you’re a human. The whole thing just seems off to me, usually they try to keep reclamations of stolen property subtle but for you they broke out the whole shebang." I explained.

"Property? I'm not property!" she protested.

"That's not the way they see it. To them you're just a pawn and they'll stop at nothing to have you because having you means that they will have some semblance of power over the other man. You especially since you're human and a rarity in these parts." I explained.

"I just want to go home." she whined, pressing her face into her knees.

"I know....but we have to get off of this planet first. I'll try to negotiate with my employer, I promise you." I said. As much as it hurt me to lie, I didn't want the girl to grow so distraught that she would run away from us at the first sign of freedom. I needed her to stick around.

  "Osorn...." she whined.

"I'll make a deal but until then your best bet is with us. We're the only two guys in this city that can help you and protect you right now. If you go running off on your own then the Harkanians will catch you and it will be all over. You will never see Earth again. Understand human?" I asked her and she nodded.

  "I do." she muttered.

I stand and notice how much larger I was than her, how I would grip her thighs and spread them, how I would fill her with my ample size and make her wail in pleasure. I was so hard already just looking at her, I reach out and stroke her cheek and she gazed at my member. I was so much taller than her, muscular, I could do whatever I wanted to her. I could pin her down right now and fill her.

But I was no animal, I would not turn to the dark in such a manner. Jzarian warriors had codes, codes that I would not forsake due to some misplaced lust.

But then again....she did activate the mating signal.

This was indeed peculiar. In the case of it being two Jzarians then the two of us would both inevitably know and commence the mating right then and there. A man was bound to his mate for life no matter what, but when it came to this human I was unsure if she even knew. I knew nothing about the customs on Earth, I suppose I could ask her but as soon as we got off of this hellhole I would have to consult a doc
tor, this was troubling and if it went on for any longer it might threaten the mission.

But something in the way she moved....it delighted me.

  CHAPTER FOUR

  Helen

He stands there in the bathroom with me for a while, we talk and share details of our pasts and where we come from. He was so alluring, I felt drawn to him in such a strange way, every time I looked at him I could feel my heart flutter out from my chest, I wanted to grab him and tell him all of this but was unsure if he even felt an iota of the same way. It was more than infatuation, less than love but about equal to fascination. The same sort of feeling you get when you saw something particularly beautiful, something particularly wonderful that could only happen once in your life.

"How is marriage on Earth?" he asked me and I looked at him, somewhat shocked at the question that came out of the blue.

"Well a man and a woman fall in love with one another and they....marry. I don't know what else to say." I said.

"Love? What is love? Is it some sort of mating ritual you have back home?" he asked and I shook my head.

"It's a feeling you get when you care about something to the point where you would do anything for it. It's just something you know." I explain and he seems a bit confused still.

"What does it feel like?" he asked.

"Like your heart is going to flutter out of your chest. Like there's something bubbling inside of you that you can't control at all. Like that." I explained.

"I see....and are people happy this way? Do they stay together for life?" he asked.
