Chapter 366 - A Breathtaking Golden Door
A grand Prime Warship streaked across the vastness of space, having been a few days since it first left the 7th Celestial Star.
Noah and Athena were on a uniquely designed rectangular dining table that had a white cloth draping over it, numerous dishes that glistened in the light filling this table as the two ate while talking.
"It's disheartening to find out that even your cooking skills are out of this word."
The Senior Sister that was gradually opening up to Noah said these words as her clear eyes looked at Noah inquisitively as she threw out a question. Noah replied as he grabbed the fat golden thigh of a large bird as he took large bites.
"My time in the Profound Astral Sect wasn't just spent cultivating, I made sure to at least get the skill of cooking down when everyone was still looking down on me."
Athena nodded as she carried on with light conversation. They had been on the ship passing through numerous stars over the past few days that after training in their separate rooms, they routinely got together to eat. Noah used the time to show off his cooking skills as he slowly gained more and more trust from the valiant War Princess, as well as the old Grandmaster that simply shook his head after realizing the disciple he considered a genius had another thing he excelled in.
"Oh? It seems like we are finally nearing the location."
The War Princess that was licking the oil on her ring finger called out, her senses reaching a region tens of miles from where they were. Noah spread his own senses out as he came to observe the appearance of numerous Prime Warsh.i.p.s much larger than the one they were on.
These Prime Warsh.i.p.s only increased in number as they neared, Noah noticing the protective formation that the numerous sh.i.p.s took as if they were protecting the most treasured thing possible.
Each of these sh.i.p.s was at the same level or higher from the Prime Warship they were on, meaning there were numerous sh.i.p.s capable of destroying entire stars spread out all over the location that held the entrance to the Celestial Realm!
The Prime Warship they were on continued to get closer as it smoothly passed the circles of protection, its identity being known long in advance as the profound weapons of numerous other sh.i.p.s did not even turn towards it.
The further in they went past the initial perimeter, the more powerful sh.i.p.s that contained horrendous auras they could feel as they realized how heavily protected this location was by the Celestials!
Noah could already feel numerous auras at the Soul and Domain Expansion Realm overlooking these many sh.i.p.s, but his gaze stayed up front as he began to sense the appearance of a shining light.
This shining light only became brighter and brighter as their ship went closer, continuing to grow in size as it soon came to overshadow the large vessel they were on.
His figure flashed away from the dining area and into the front of the ship that held a clear glass screen, his eyes landing on this brightening light as it gradually became more and more clear, his eyes finally registering the appearance of a humongous Golden Door!
It was a breathtaking scene to observe as this door stood serenely in space, gold particles of light ever so slowly coiling around it as it portrayed a sense of majesty Noah had not come across before. The only thing that slightly took away from this majesty was the numerous Interstellar Sh.i.p.s surrounding it on all sides, the eyes of the Celestials protecting this door as if it was their lifeline.
"The Celestial Door, a breathtaking sight to come across for the first time as it is nothing compared to the gates leading to the Infernal Realms you have come across before."
Grandmaster Vredral appeared next to Noah as Athena joined their position, his wizened gaze deepening as he stroked his beard and continued.
"One can look at the names of the two and say they are similar, but the Celestial Realm and the known Infernal Realms are not even capable of being at the same stage of comparison. The entire size of the First Infernal Realm cannot even compare to one-hundredth of the minuscule amount of lands that we have managed to explore in the Celestial Realm."
The words of the Grandmaster revealed the immensity of the Celestial Realm more and more as their ship came to a stop not too far away from the Golden Door. The more than 2000 meters in size Warship seemed tiny compared to this grand door floating in front of them.
"Now, let's go in and have you two take a first look!"
The Grandmaster voiced out with a happy expression as a wide door opened up on the side of their Prime Warship, their figures stepping into the void of space as they began to head towards the Golden Door.
None of the numerous Interstellar Sh.i.p.s even batted an eye towards them as they all knew their identities to be important figures from the 7th Celestial Star!
Many of the beings that were stationed in the numerous vessels to protect the perimeters of the entrance to the Celestial Realm were beings that were average in talent, using many of the years on missions of securing the perimeter as they cultivated for tens of years in these vessels before they were assigned to other missions.
Some of them had not even been given the chance to enter the Celestial Realm yet until they completed their missions!
Noah's party smoothly bypassed all of this as they neared the door with the Grandmaster at the lead, and under the eyes of everyone, they came to float just a few meters from the Golden Door. The simple l.u.s.ter and brightness of the gate caused them to squint their eyes as the Grandmaster spoke once more.
"The moment anyone touches this Golden Door, they will be transferred to a specific region that we have long ago colonized and made our own, and it will be this region that you all will spend quite some time to get acquainted in before you begin to fully explore the dangers and opportunities of the Celestial Realm."
Noah and Athena nodded as their figures came ever so closer to the Golden Door.
"It will be my honor to welcome the newest geniuses of the Celestials into the first region of the Celestial Realm, the Sanctum!"
The voice of the Grandmaster reached a crescendo as they fully came in contact with the Golden Door, their figures disappearing in a flash of light as Noah Osmont, a nobody from a Small World had finally stepped into a Realm that would allow for unpredictable changes for the entire Light Expanse!
Chapter 367 - The Sanctum!
How would one describe something they found so beautiful and grand that no words came to their minds?
How would you describe something that looked exactly like what you imagined a paradise would be like?
How would one bring themselves to describe the first place that everybody was teleported to when they entered the Celestial Realm, the place known as the Sanctum!
Noah and Athena's figures appeared on a magnificently white marble clearing as their eyes landed on the wondrous buildings all around them that rose to the skies.
They seemed to be a blend of ancient architecture that Noah would have seen in olden times, but also the futuristic designs that made one feel they were in an entirely new land!
Many of the structures around them had pointed peaks that rose to the skies, the crystalline structures tinged with the colors of white and gold as they glistened in the light. Those that didn't have pointed peaks had artistic dome-shaped outlines that released an air of regality.
All around these enormous buildings, the ethereal outlines of huge ancient trees that rose to heights no less than the buildings themselves were present. The trees seem to shimmer with abundant life essence as they provided an aesthetic of nature that could not be violated. It felt like they were in a land filled with nature, and at the same time, this land had undergone the process of change that kept the natural aesthetic while simply adding the unique architecture all around it.
They could feel the oppressive feeling of immense essence all around them, the quality so powerful that every time they breathed, they felt as if their noses were getting unclogged after days of having a cold, fin
ally being able to smell the vibrant smell of spring!
Noah felt his own body almost feeling gleeful as it settled in this environment that held a profound quality of essence.
They could sense numerous powerhouses spread out all around, the least of which held power at the Void Realm, with the auras of multiple Domain Expansion experts being present!
Their surroundings were bustling with activity as numerous different robe colored Celestials could be seen walking around, only the white marble circular area they stood on being secluded and empty.
The Grandmaster looked at the paradisiacal scene around him as he voiced out with a tinge of wonder.
"Welcome to the first area that all who step in through the Golden Door of the Celestial Realm are introduced to, welcome to The Sanctum that is our home base in this expansive Celestial Realm."
Noah continued to glance at the phenomenal array of golden and white colors around him as he sensed a brand new atmosphere in this Celestial Realm he had stepped into. He realized the first subtle differences by the many bustling figures that were moving around the Sanctum, but he couldn't find anyone in the skies.
He noticed this difference as he felt a type of restriction landing on his body, and he wanted to test it as his body slowly jumped to the skies, but he was thrown back down by his weight the moment he reached just a few meters high, finding that he could not use his energy to hold himself up!
"Haha, you have caught on to the differences of the Celestial Realm fast. Yes, one of the things you will come to realize here is that numerous restrictions exist, and one of them is that you cannot fly! Unless you are on a ship or flying on a winged beast, you will find your energy is useless in keeping you afloat...that is until you reach a certain realm."
The body of the Grandmaster began to float stably as he said this, his figure remaining in the skies jovial before he came down in a few seconds.
"Of course, the other differences are more astute, but you can easily discover them in time. Come, the newcomers need to gain their preliminary knowledge of the nearby geography and exactly where to go or not go if you want to keep your life."
The Grandmaster pulled them away from the white marble area they entered in as they went towards one of the ancient buildings that had its golden peak pointing to the skies, the shape of two huge white wings spreading out from the sides of this unique structure as it let out an air of magnificence.
Their party passed through the glass doors as two guards clad in a unique white armor bowed with their hands clasping their chest.
"Grandmaster."
"Grandmaster."
Grandmaster Vredral gave a simple nod as he took Noah and Athena forward, the two disciples curiously watching everything around them as they observed numerous Celestials moving in and out of the building they were in. They climbed a set of circular stairs as they came to reach a higher floor that held huge wide open doors leading to a hall where a few figures were cl.u.s.tered around an oval table.
There was a powerful aura at the forefront that turned towards Grandmaster Vredral and called out raucously.
"Vredral! You've finally returned, and with new disciples I see."
The smooth reacquaintance of two old friends occurred as the wizened Grandmaster gave a huge bear hug to this being.
"Commanding Officer Raizel now is it? Haha, we'll catch up later. I bring with me seeds of the future that need to be looked after extremely well. They need to be brought to speed on the safe and dangerous regions around the Sanctum, as well as the areas they can begin to explore in this wide Celestial Realm of ours!"
A nod of understanding came on the face of the one called Raizel as he smiled and looked towards Noah and Athena, his powerful aura at the Domain Expansion realm focusing on them as he nodded.
"You have been gone too long my friend, the regions you knew to be dangerous have turned safe after years of exploration, and some of the safe regions have turned dangerous after the Celestial Beasts reclaimed them. Haha, no worries though, let's enjoy ourselves a bit with delicacies only found here before we delve into the crux of everything."
The being called Commanding Officer Raizel waved his hands toward the table as numerous doc.u.ments and papers were moved away, a collection of rainbow-colored fruits that pulsed with immense essence appearing on the table as the eyes of a few guards standing by the side shone with light.
"Do you remember these? The Aurora Fruits from a dangerous region we had not yet captured towards the west. We have been able to get our hands on them now, and they are delicacies you definitely have to enjoy!"
Raizel invited them to partake as Noah's hands grabbed an Aurora Fruit himself, feeling enormous amounts of energy the moment the rainbow-colored fruit landed on his hands as surprisingly, his Planetary System showed a few blue colored words interpreting the features of the fruit's unique energy signature right away.
[Aurora Fruit] :: A unique medicinal fruit only capable of growing in unique environments. Has the effects of fully recovering one's energy and vitality to the maximum, and granting them +100% energy regeneration for the next hour.
His jaws nearly dropped at the description of a simple fruit that he had come across as he first stepped into the Celestial Realm, his gaze turning towards the jovial Celestials in front of him as the hunger he felt for the unknown things in this Celestial Realm only grew.
He had just arrived at the base of the Celestials in this Realm that was called the Sanctum. He wanted to learn more about exactly what awaited outside this Sanctum, and what dangers he had to brave if he wanted to get his hands on ridiculously amazing items such as the ones he had just come across a few minutes of entering into this Celestial Realm!
He was also extremely impatient as his thoughts went to a feature of his Spiritual Land that would be something phenomenal to have in this land filled with opportunities. He was thinking of the feature of [Treasure Hunter] that he wanted to use in this Celestial Realm right away, his gaze looking far into the future on the unlimited possibilities.
He had just stepped into the Celestial Realm, and already his heart felt a strong pull as he was swept off his feet instantly!
Chapter 368 - Celestial Beasts
As Noah and Athena sat down with the one called Commanding Officer Raziel and Grandmaster Vredral, the picture of the Celestial Realm gradually became clearer in their eyes.
The location known as the Sanctum was the first area that the Celestial colonized, going on to build a central base here as they gradually expanded over the years.
This expansion was a tug of war between them and the inhabitants that could be found in this Celestial Realm- the Celestial Beasts!
They were termed this simply as they were the regal and monstrous beasts that could be found all over this Celestial Realm, but others also knew them by another name because of their prime feature.
They were also known as...Behemoths!
Noah could feel his heart pounding as he listened to the carefully given lecture by the Commanding Officer Raizel, the picture of this Celestial Realm only getting bigger and bigger as the image of these beasts called Behemoths filled his mind.
They were called Behemoths simply because of their monstrous size, where just a single one was like an entire moving building!
In the explored areas that Celestials had observed so far, the smallest of these Celestial Beasts had turned out to be 50 meters! This was a shocking size for a normal beast, actually being 25 times Noah's human stature, where even in his Lesser Cthulhu form he would still be considered smaller.
These were the beasts populating the Celestial Realm, these were the Celestial Beasts known as Behemoths!
"You will be lucky to come across one that would usually be protecting a certain area which is usually filled with treasures. If you come across 2 or 3 Behemoths congregating, then it means the treasure is especially more potent and rare."
The Commanding Officer Raizel said with a solemn tone as his eyes locked in towards Athe
na and Noah.
"The defenses of these Behemoths are extremely terrifying, where we have come to learn that they have insane resistance to many laws, and only Supreme Laws like the Law of Fate are extremely effective in passing through their defenses. It takes other attacks twice as much time just to get through their thick skin."
The story continued as the descriptions of the Celestial Beasts became more clearer in Noah's eyes.
The Behemoths had horrendous levels of defenses, and this also stood the same with their attacks! You could actually come across a Behemoth that held huge attainments in the Law of Water and find yourself outmatched as they used spectacular skills you could not easily defend against.
"The even more ferocious Behemoths are those that are proficient in Supreme Laws. It is these beasts that act independently and are the main cause of us losing an area we already explored and claimed, where we face monstrous casualties every time a Behemoth at such a level comes to these areas."
The face of the Commanding Officer Raizel only became more and more solemn as he talked about the ferociousness of the Celestial Beasts.
Because of the terrible power of these beasts, when the Celestials moved to explore the Celestial Realm, they always moved in teams in order to match these Behemoths that they came across!
This created an atmosphere where numerous teams were created in the Sanctum for the purposes of hunting down Behemoths.
"These Celestial Beasts are extremely dangerous, but their rewards are also just as stupendous. This is what propels the many teams formed in the Sanctum forward, as aside from the areas filled with treasures that these beasts protected, their own bodies contain unheard of materials that are drenched with the universal laws!"
Yes! Aside from the abundant rewards you could claim from the area that the Celestial Beast was protecting, their bodies themselves were profound materials that carried with them the laws that the Behemoths were proficient in.
When Noah heard the mention of materials, his heart beat slightly faster as he knew he was already sold on everything about these Behemoths, but they just continued to tell him more and more things that made him want to go out and start exploring right away!
