Nox and the rest of the members of the Royal Family, who were just outside the bedroom where Rashmi was undergoing labor, were scared out of their wits when they heard the tragic cries of the midwife and the others in the bedroom. They forcefully entered the bedroom, which had been previously sealed and the scene inside shocked them. The entire bedroom was covered in red-colored sinister flames behaving like living beings and almost everything in the room was burned into nothingness excluding the bed on which Rashmi had undergone labor. This showed that the bed was not something normal but an artifact of some kind.

Rashmi and a few surviving maids were trying to calm the crying baby when they entered the room. It took them quite some time to soothe him to sleep following which the flames also disappeared from the bedroom.

Nox and other members of the Royal Family were standing dumbstruck all this while at the doors of the bedroom as they looked at the scene in front of their eyes. They were for some time unable to tell what was going on until Rashmi informed them.

“My King, our son is a Redback Demon and possesses an Original-grade bloodline,” Rashmi had said in a jubilant manner.

Nox and the rest were shocked all over again on hearing her words and were agape for a full ten minutes before enraptured smiles appeared on their faces. Nox was the first one to rush towards Rashmi to look at Noah, who was now peacefully sleeping in his mother’s arms. Nox took the sleeping baby from her arms and gave him a gentle peck on his forehead before he returned him to his mother. He then bid Rashmi goodbye and left for his private chamber where his Galactic Mental-message transmission orb was located. He had to inform the Main branch of the Twilight Demon Kingdom at the earliest about Noah’s birth. The other members of the Royal Family then quickly circled around Rashmi after Nox left the bedroom to get a better look at their future King.

  --------------------------x--------------------------

Noah was on the balcony of his bedroom and looking in the direction of Green Highlands with great curiosity. If not for the maids in his room he would have already left to find the demon that was causing his bloodline to go into upheaval.

Noah was generally never left alone. He had hundreds of Immortal Realm maids around him at all times because of his naughty nature. He had tried to escape from the Royal Palace many times but had been caught in time by the maids and other members of the family. Until today, no one except for the Royal Family and their servants had known about his existence, which had been kept a secret by keeping him within the palace most of the time. He didn’t like that at all but Nox and the rest had no choice. They had no intention of risking his life unnecessarily, as they knew how dangerous it would be for him if some demon faction kidnapped him.

From his moody temperament the maids that were currently keeping an eye on him could tell that their little prince was thinking of escaping the Royal Palace once again, so they became extra vigilant and called in a few more maids to make sure that didn’t happen.

Noah lost all interest after seeing more maids come in his bedroom. Just as he was about to yell at them, he saw Liam walk in from the heavily guarded door, which brought a smile to his face. Liam was the only person who had taken him out of the Royal Palace a few times, so Liam was his favorite grandpa.

“Grandpa, I want to go out!” Noah yelled as he turned into a blur before disappearing from the balcony and appearing in front of Liam.

“Noah, we can’t because of the current circumstances,” Liam said with a sigh, as he knew that he had come to meet Noah at the very wrong time. He couldn’t help but curse his luck.

“No, I want to go out!” Noah roared, as he started to shed buckets of tears. His entire body was covered in eerie and evil red flames, the infamous Red Demon flames. Liam knelt on his knee and gently patted Noah who was looking at him with teary eyes. The maids rolled their eyes as they knew the drama that was about to unfold. They didn’t intervene and prepared themselves to watch a good show, as amused expressions appeared on their faces.

“Noah, there is an Oblivion Demon out there, so we can’t go outside,” Liam said in a gentle manner.

“What is an Oblivion Demon? Is it strong?” Noah asked as he wiped his tears. This was a new term for him, so he was bound to be curious about it. Liam heaved a sigh of relief on seeing that he could somehow get out of the sticky situation by diverting Noah’s attention.

“It is an evil creature that likes to drink the blood of demons with Original-grade bloodline purity,” Liam said in a sinister tone as he intended to scare Noah, but it had the opposite effect on him – his fighting spirit got ignited upon hearing Liam’s words.

“I’ll rip him apart if he comes anywhere close to me!” Noah said with a brave expression as he puffed his chest. Liam wanted to hit his head on the floor on hearing this, as he had not expected his words to have that effect on Noah!

“If that Oblivion Demon ever comes near you, then just flee as far as possible,” Liam said in a far more sinister tone than before, which even sent shivers down the spines of Noah and the maids in his bedroom.

“Is he even stronger than you Grandpa?” Noah asked in with childlike innocence, which made Liam’s expression loosen up a little.

“I almost died few hours ago,” Liam said bitterly. His words made Noah as well as his maids agape, as in their eyes Liam had unrivalled strength, so they had a hard time digesting these words.

“Are you hurt Grandpa?” Noah asked in a concerned manner after a few minutes of silence. The maids were also looking at Liam with concern.

“I was quick enough to run to save my life,” Liam said with an embarrassed expression.

Noah and his maids were once again shocked, as they’d never expected to hear of Liam fleeing in order to save his life while on Grandura. That was more than enough to tell them how strong his opponent was.

“So, don’t even think of leaving the Royal Palace for the time being,” Liam said in a lighter tone, as he could tell that Noah had been more or less convinced by his words.

“Grandpa, I already understand that it is for my own good that I am not allowed to leave the Royal Palace,” Noah said in a sincere tone, which made Liam and the maids roll their eyes at his shamelessness, as they could tell from his body language that he was not at all trustworthy when he said that them.

“I am telling the truth!” Noah’s face flushed a little on seeing their over-exaggerated reactions.

“Where do you want to go by the way?” Liam asked helplessly. He knew that if he didn’t take Noah out, he might try to escape from the Royal Palace and that might cause them even more trouble. A smile appeared on Noah’s face on hearing this, as he could finally have an opportunity to leave the Royal Palace.

“I am not sure but there is a powerful demon in that direction, that has been causing the blood in my veins to go into upheaval for the past few days, so I just want to meet that demon,” Noah said with a smile still on his face, as he pointed in the direction of Green Highlands. Liam’s facial expression underwent a drastic change on seeing the direction Noah was pointing in.

“Are you feeling anything else?” Liam asked as his breathing rate became a little uneven, which was noticed by Noah. It made him a little hesitant to tell Liam anything else, but thinking how seriously Liam was taking this matter, he decided to not hide anything from him.

“My heartbeat suddenly increases randomly and that makes my strength slightly increase but it also feels good. I feel as if I have boundless strength. A connection develops between us for a few minutes. This has been happening for the past few days, but I am unable to communicate with the demon. So, I just wanted to go and meet him,” Noah said everything truthfully.

“Never go and meet that demon. The direction you are pointing is where the lair of the Oblivion Demon is located. It is most likely trying to lure you to it, so it can devour you,” Liam said severely.

“But Grandpa! I am certain that demon is not bad, otherwise I wouldn’t have felt so
close to it and …” Noah tried to explain but stopped when he saw the angry expression on his Grandpa’s face.

“I won’t go and meet that demon,” Noah said in a dejected manner.

“I am saying this only for your safety,” Liam said as he gently patted him.

“Make sure that Noah doesn’t leave the Royal Palace at any cost. Deploy additional forces for his security,” Liam sent Mental-message transmission to the maid in charge of all the other maids keeping an eye on Noah and caring for him. That maid was a Rat Demon called Shelina.

Rat Demons have human-like figures with lean bodies, black skin, rat-like facial features and an average height of seven meters. These demons have Innate Abilities that lean towards agility, which gives them unparalleled speed amongst demons. Shelina had initially been a warrior and had been Rashmi’s body guard before she became Noah’s caretaker and maid. Rashmi had personally asked her, as she was her most trusted follower.

Rashmi had originally been part of Demon Domain, an extremely powerful demon faction on Grandura that also had a branch in the Divine Universe. She had married into Twilight Demon Kingdom and had brought along with her a few loyal followers, Shelina being one of them.

Shelina nodded her headed on hearing Liam’s command and quickly gave commands to the maids under her to fulfil it.

“Noah, I need to make a few preparations for the upcoming battle,” Liam said as he got up to leave Noah’s bedroom.

“What battle?” Noah asked with a shocked expression.

“The battle to kill that Oblivion Demon,” Liam said with an icy expression following which he left Noah’s room. Noah wanted to stop him from killing the demon in Green Highlands. He was certain that demon wasn’t evil, as he felt warmth from it every time they had a connection develop between them for a few minutes. He got a sense of safety from the demon at that time too. He wanted to help the demon but lacked the strength and authority to do so. He just prayed to the Lord Asuras for the demon’s safety.

  --------------------------x--------------------------

Isa had no idea about the situation that was developing on Demon Continent, as he was too engrossed in advancing his Cultivation Level to Early Celestial Elite Realm. His puppets had yet to collect more information regarding the object that had come from Outer space from the youngsters from the Main branch of Calamity Sect, and consequently they hadn’t disturbed him, so he could concentrate on Cultivation. Ryan too knew that it was an important time for Isa, so he hadn’t contacted him either: he hadn’t wanted to disturb Isa unnecessarily.

  --------------------------x--------------------------

The Main branches of the different Grandura demon factions were soon to receive the Mental-message transmissions from their respective Grandura branches. They would promptly send God Realm Demons to deal with Isa. It would take around a week or so for them to arrive at Grandura – and Isa would be in trouble from that moment.

  --------------------------x--------------------------

There is a mountainous region deep inside Starlight Forest. It had suddenly become the most dreadful place in the entire Starlight Forest. The reason was that a Blood-red Baleful aura shrouded the entire mountainous region on all sides and was so vicious and evil that all the vegetation that was growing there had died and any creature that came into contact with it also died instantly. That mountainous region was within the territory of a powerful Divine Bird, a Star Crane. The Star Crane had earlier tried to investigate the mountainous region but had felt a deep sense of danger when nearing it, so it avoided going anywhere near it and just kept an eye on it from a distance.

The Star Crane is a Divine Bird of Water and Light. It looks no different from a normal crane except for its extremely huge size and blade-like sharp feathers that cover its entire body. Those feathers give it unparalleled defense and they can also be used for attacking other beings. Star Cranes with Original-grade bloodline purity can grow as big as real stars and their feathers emit light at all times like real stars do.

The beaks of Star Cranes with High-grade and Original-grade bloodline purities possess matchless sharpness and toughness. They can easily pierce the hide of even High-grade dragon species with their beaks and lethally injure them with a single strike. This is the main reason that the beaks of Star Cranes with High-grade and Original-grade bloodline purities are considered the best material for forging weapons like swords, spears and so on. Many Martial Artists dream of owning a weapon made from a Star Crane beak but very few can own one as hunting a Star Crane is so extremely dangerous.

Star Cranes have terrifying Innate Abilities that can even make dragons and phoenixes flee in fear. Their most well-known Innate Ability is called Neutralization Domain, which ensures that no being can use Elemental Laws while fighting a Star Crane. The being can only rely on its bodily toughness and strength to defeat the Star Crane. This Innate Ability is possessed by all Star Cranes irrespective of their bloodline purity. Neutralization Domain is one of the main reason for the fearsome reputation of Star Cranes.

The Star Crane in whose territory the mountainous region lay had a Cultivation Level of Late Immortal Saint Realm and was just a step away from ascending to a Divine World. Its body was as big as a mountain, with a wing span of over two kilometers and it possessed Mid-grade bloodline purity. The fact that it was able to carve itself a territory within Starlight Forest, even though it possessed Mid-grade bloodline purity speaks a lot about the formidability of Star Cranes.

The Star Crane was currently hovering in the sky at some distance from the mountainous region with its sight firmly fixed on the part of the mountainous region that was entirely submerged in Baleful aura. The Star Crane was unable to tolerate the fact that an unknown creature had suddenly made itself a home within its territory, and that too without its consent, but for some reason, the Star Crane’s instincts shrieked at it to flee every time it neared the mountainous region, which made it develop a little fear of that being. All it could do was to keep an eye on the valley from a distance to get a glimpse of the unknown creature.

The Star Crane suddenly had a dumbfounded expression: it saw a young human boy deep within Starlight Forest but then had a horrified expression, when it saw a Viper’s Touch Immortal Plant Spirit by his side. The young boy had his facial features hidden by a half-mask and the Viper’s Touch Immortal Plant Spirit was sitting on his shoulder. The young boy was flying straight towards the mountainous region without a tinge of fear. They were Ryan and Caius, of course, who’d come to meet Tondenth at his lair within the mountainous region, after an entire night’s journey through the Outer region of Starlight Forest.

The Star Crane’s expression changed again and this time it wore a gloating expression, as it was extremely roused about the prospect of seeing Ryan die a miserable death. It had always hated the human-kind, so its reaction can be understood. The Star Crane could feel the terrifying toxicity of Caius so it knew that trying to personally kill Ryan was a suicidal move: there was a limit as to how much poison it could neutralize using Neutralization Domain. Viper’s Touch Immortal Plant Spirits were well-known for their ability to spew poison endlessly.

The Star Crane was certain that even the Viper’s Touch Immortal Plant Spirit by the human’s side would die along with the human, as it had seen Immortal Plant Spirits and Immortal Tree Spirits of similar strength perish, when they’d come into contact with the Red Baleful aura. The Red Baleful aura was that terrifying.

The Star Crane’s expression changed one more time – but this time for a different reason.

Tondenth suddenly woke up from his deep Cultivation state with a startled expression as he sensed Ryan very close to him. Ryan had decided to give him a surprise by showing up at his place without prior notice, so such a reaction from Tondenth can be understood. Tondenth had made the valley within the mountainous region his new home, as the mountainous region was situated on a High-grade Metal Attribute Treasure Land. The valley where he was cultivating was at the
center of the mountainous region and also the place with the densest Metal Elemental Energy of high purity. The Metal Elemental Energy was not of much use to Tondenth, but as a Divine beast of Death and Metal, he preferred living in area that had either dense Metal Elemental Energy or dense Death Elemental Energy.

Tondenth’s expression turned furious, when he sensed the Star Crane attentively watching Ryan and Caius from quite a distance away with a gloating expression. He felt that it had bad intentions towards Ryan and Caius.

Tondenth’s blood-red eyes suddenly started to shine. The Star Crane that was ten kilometers away from the mountainous region suddenly felt its entire huge body wrapped in powerful pressure which slowly and steadily crushed it into mincemeat. The Star Crane had a horrified expression and its entire body started shining brightly as a blue-colored Domain appeared around it. This was its famed Neutralization Domain but at this moment the Domain was of little use, as Tondenth was using the trademark Innate Ability of the Dragon race, Draconic Suppression – not any kind of Elemental Law.

The Star Crane opened its beak and tried to shriek to call its followers for help, but no matter how hard it tried, no sound came from its mouth. The body of the Star Crane suddenly burst under the immense pressure and turned into a bloody mist. The Star Crane disappeared from the face of Grandura within just a few seconds.
