“The daughter of the Brocade Emperor?” Sun Zhongda glanced rather puzzledly at Meng Wan.

Fu Ting was one of the elites of the World beyond Worlds’ younger generation as Sun Zhongda naturally knew how she looked like.

Still, he left it at that as he nodded, saying, “Since she is senior apprentice-uncle Yan’s companion, of course.”

While Yan Zhaoge was inwardly concerned about the conflict between the black and white Brocade Emperors, since their whereabouts were currently unknown, he could only set the matter out of his mind for now.

He could only try to gather news regarding this in the upcoming days and simply adjust accordingly.

Yan Zhaoge had long since wished that he could pay the Roving Jade Heavens a visit. Now that such a chance had finally come, he would definitely do so.

Led by Sun Zhongda and co, he and Meng Wan entered a whole different dimension.

There, spiritual qi was abundant beneath the clear skies. Despite being similar to the World beyond Worlds in this aspect, it had a profound flair of its own too.

Yan Zhaoge could clearly sense a sharp aura emanating there.

It was as if he was standing on the tip of a sword.

Such an equilibrium of spiritual qi was surely rather unusual for a world like this.

Yan Zhaoge fell into deep thought as he was silent for a time.

“In coming to the Roving Jade Heavens for the first time, martial practitioners with lower cultivation bases may be rather unacclimated to it,” Sun Zhongda said, “While it is naturally fine for you, senior apprentice-uncle Yan, it will be tough on this Miss Fu.”

Meng Wan smiled, “It is fine. This truly broadens my horizons.”

Soon, Yan Zhaoge ran into another old acquaintance.

The former head disciple of the World beyond Worlds’ southeastern Yang Heaven Territory’s Golden Court Mountain, the ‘Shadow Mountain Sword King’ Lin Hanhua. Now, he was Long Hanhua, a sword cultivator of the Prime Clear lineage.

“Long time no see, senior apprentice-brother Long. How have you been? Yan Zhaoge cheerily greeted him.

Before this, he had already known that Lin Hanhua was an alias as the man’s real name was Long Hanhua. He was the son of the ‘Little Sword God’ Long Xueji whom he had run into once before as well as the grandson of the Dragon Spring Emperor and the Profound Sovereign.

In terms of seniority, he was of the same generation as Yan Zhaoge.

While his name was different, he was still that same person, resembling a sharp, unsheathed sword as he stood there as it was difficult for people to look straight at him.

Almost ten years had passed since the two of them had last seen each other.

The current Long Hanhua was already at the ninth level of the Martial Saint realm, the late Immortal Bridge stage.

He had not changed much in terms of appearance as he now smiled upon seeing Yan Zhaoge, “What a surprise to see you here in the Roving Jade Heavens! This is wonderful indeed. Our elders were still thinking that some more time should still be needed for you and senior apprentice-uncle Yan to seek a way here.”

It was not a good thing for people in the World beyond Worlds to have apparent connections to the Roving Jade Heavens.

Both sides presently did not have a very harmonious relationship at all.

Still, Yan Zhaoge and Yan Di were a much more special case. It was just that they had to do this in a covert manner as they could not be too obvious and blatant about it.

Yan Zhaoge smiled, “Of course I came as soon as I could. Still, it was rather by coincidence and luck that I could arrive here today.”

“Luck it may not be,” Long Hanhua joked, “Since he estimated that you and senior apprentice-uncle Yan should not be arriving so quickly, grandfather entered secluded cultivation just a couple of days ago. You may not be able to see him this time.”

Sun Zhongda and the others were feeling rather astonished inwardly.

While this senior apprentice-uncle Long did not have as severe a personality as his father, he was a man of few words who possessed a tough, unwavering temperament.

Ever since Long Hanhua had returned to stay at the Roving Jade Heavens, Gao Qing aside, the other disciples of the junior generation had never seen him conversing so happily with anyone else before.

“Senior apprentice-granduncle Long is in secluded cultivation?” Yan Zhaoge put a hand on his head, smiling wryly, “What an untimely coincidence. I wonder if the other elders are around?”

He and Long Hanhua had been on pretty good terms in the World beyond Worlds back than as he was also extremely happy upon seeing him again, hence speaking in a very relaxed, open manner.

“My father is presently not in seclusion. My eldest uncle should be here too,” Long Hanhua smiled, “They will all be very happy to hear that you have arrived. Come, follow me.”

  ……

Even as Yan Zhaoge spent many days in leaving the Nine Underworlds, traversing the land of tranquil stream and drifting amidst extradimensional space to arrive at the Roving Jade Heavens, there was a certain person who broke free of the Nine Underworlds as well.

World beyond Worlds’ Kunlun Mountain’s Qianhua(Heavenly Splendour) Peak.

This dao arena shared the same name as its owner.

It should be said that it had been renamed after its current owner had occupied it.

This was also a famed sacred ground of the World beyond Worlds.

Its owner was naturally the strongest of the Ten Exalts, the Upper Exalt Chen Qianhua.

Still, Chen Qianhua did not reside there most of the time.

Instead, it was his brother, the Earthly Young Master Chen Kunhua, who spent more than half of the time in a year residing and cultivating there.

One day, as Chen Kunhua was in that cave manor, a streak of radiance suddenly descended from the skies.

The glow faded to reveal none other than the Upper Exalt, Chen Qianhua.

This number one Martial Saint of the World beyond Worlds had a rare look of despondence on his usually lazy face at this moment.

“Big brother, you…” Chen Kunhua was rather taken aback as he stared at his elder brother.

Chen Qianhua waved a hand dismissively, saying rather vexedly, “Don’t mention it. An extremely interesting thing, and I barely missed out on it! There really is nothing more vexing in this world.”

HSSB1104: Immortal Artifact, Heavenly Heart Ruler

The Earthly Young Master Chen Kunhua felt surprised as he wondered what could have made his elder brother so vexed.

Chen Qianhua did not provide any explanation as he clapped lightly.

The entire Qianhua Peak instantly shook.

Multi-coloured light surged to the skies, flickering beneath the mountain peak as it thoroughly illuminated the surrounding heavens and earth.

A vast, majestic aura powerfully surged into existence.

Chen Kunhua was even more astonished, “Big brother, you are actually retrieving the Heavenly Heart Ruler?”

In the World beyond Worlds, the Upper Exalt Chen Qianhua was the uncontestable number one Martial Saint.

Ever since he had become the Upper Exalt, not relying on external objects, just based on personal strength alone, simply he alone could beat all the other Martial Saints of the World beyond Worlds.

Even True Immortals who had pushed open the door to Immortality were not confident of definitely beating him.

Most of the time, the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors would never make things difficult for him.

Thus, all these years, although everyone in the World beyond Worlds knew that the Upper Exalt was very powerful, there was no one who knew exactly how powerful he was.

If the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors did not act against him, there was no one in the World beyond Worlds at all who could get him to reveal the true extent of his abilities one versus one.

Therefore, there was naturally no one who knew that this Upper Exalt, as a Martial Saint, possessed an Immortal Artifact!

A long bronze ruler was enveloped by multi-coloured light as it flew out from beneath Qianhua Peak, arriving before Chen Qianhua.

The Immortal Artifact, Heavenly Heart Ruler!

A treasure that even some Emperors would lack had appeared in the hands of a Martial Saint.

Chen Qianhua flicked his sleeve, casually keeping that bronze ruler, “The Four Grands Earlier Heaven Flag posed a bit of an obstacle. If not for that, I would have been able to personally see how that Yan Zhaoge got the Brocade Emperor to split into two.”

Chen Qianhua seemed pretty much unconcerned about his Immortal Artifact, something that martial practitioners dearly sought and valued as they would their lives.

If his fun had not been spoilt this time, he would probably not even have remembered that he was in possession of such a miraculous weapon.

Presently, it was not to seek revenge and regain his lost honour that he was bringing it around with him. Instead, he was doing so to prevent similar events from occurring, with him being sent out of the arena prematurely, hence cruelly prevented from viewing the rest of the great entertainment.

Chen Kunhua had a rather enchanted look on his face as he watched the bronze ruler being kept by his elder brother.

He could live in Chen Qianhua’s cave manor, could use Chen Qianhua’s other treasures, could make use of Chen Qianhua’s influence and connections.

Still, he was unable to possess some things at the end of the day.

Personal strength was only one of these things. That bronze ruler which seemed able to measure the dimensions of the very heavens and earth of the universe was another example of this.

It was not that Chen Qianhua had forbidden him from using it. Instead, his cultivation base was simply insufficient for him to control the Heavenly Heart Ruler.

That was an actual Immortal Artifact. How many amongst mortals might be able to wield it?

Chen Kunhua sighed inwardly before calming his emotions, feeling surprised as he pondered on what his elder brother had just said, “The Brocade Emperor has split into two?”

“That’s right,” Chen Qianhua’s eyes shone, “It should be that Yan Zhaoge’s handiwork which caused the Brocade Emperor’s soul to split apart completely, next refining the Nine Underworlds devilish qi to individually reconstruct new bodies. There are two Brocade Emperors now, one feeling and one unfeeling.”

“This is something that falls totally out of my predictions. That Yan Zhaoge really is an interesting person. Even the insane Brocade Emperor is incomparable to him.”

Now, this Upper Exalt looked vexed again, “Tsk, a pity that I wasn’t able to witness it in person, only being able to project what happened afterwards. I feel unhappy just thinking about it.”

“That Yan Zhaoge is really rather strange and unorthodox,” The Earthly Young Master Chen Kunhua said, “Weren’t you able to investigate his background in greater detail, elder brother?”

Chen Qianhua simply replied, “There was nothing I could find.”

His brother was stunned upon hearing this as it shocked him even more than what had happened with the Brocade Emperor.

Snapping out of it, Chen Kunhua’s expression was solemn as it had never been before as he gazed at his elder brother, pausing with each word, “Is it that you aren’t willing to see through him so quickly, or are you really unable to uncover his actual background?”

“I already said that I really could not uncover it!” While Chen Qianhua had a lazy expression on his face, his gaze was bright and full of excitement, “It is because of this that this Yan Zhaoge truly is a wondrous person. My heart is leaping in joy as has never before!”

Chen Kunhua was shocked upon hearing this.

This purple-clothed youth who was of the same blood as him and looked strange and indolent was an extremely terrifying person. He, Chen Kunhua, was one of those who knew this the most clearly.

Most of the time, even the words ‘one of those’ could be omitted.

This purple-clothed youth was totally unconcerned about many things.

This was because for those things, he needed but a single glance to basically understand how they would turn out.

Back when Chen Qianhua’s cultivation base had still been low, there might still have been a couple of deviations in his predictions of what would come to pass. Still, events that had occurred in the past had already been clear as day to him even then, with their cause and effect being obvious.

When the target’s cultivation base did not surpass his by too much, they could mostly have no secrets at all before him with regard to the issue at hand.

Of course, he had to be aware of the matter and actively seek information in order to do so as this process was not a passive one.

It was naturally not for no reason at all that the Upper Exalt was widely knowledgeable and owned countless treasures and scriptures, even possessing an Immortal Artifact, the Heavenly Heart Ruler.

The reason for this was that he could grasp much information that others did not know about as he sought that which he was interested in.

While there would sometimes be unexpected occurrences herein, these were extremely rare cases.

This was why the Upper Exalt was often away with his movements seeming random and difficult to know.

As Chen Qianhua’s cultivation base rose, he was increasingly able to come into contact with things of a higher level.

Yan Zhaoge’s strength was not doubted at all by the Earthly Young Master Chen Kunhua who had personally witnessed Broad Creed Mountain’s opening ceremony.

Still, Yan Zhaoge’s cultivation base was much lower than Chen Qianhua’s at the end of the day.

Now that Chen Qianhua had admitted to being unable to see through Yan Zhaoge, how could Chen Kunhua not feel shocked?

Chen Qianhua was able to see through even many matters involving the Brocade Emperor, a lofty True Immortal of a higher realm. Yet, he could not see through a Immortal Bridge Martial Saint?

“That Yan Zhaoge caused me some wariness when I attended Broad Creed Mountain’s opening ceremony previously, whereas Yan Di possessed the Grand Simplicity Splendour Cloud. Thus, I did not choose to target them,” Chen Kunhua composed himself before saying, “I chose Yan Di’s Master, Yuan Zhengfeng, and learnt some things through the Heart’s Will Seal.”

While he was not as widely versed as his elder brother, the Upper Exalt, the Earthly Young Master Chen Kunhua was also proficient in numerous supreme martial arts.

It was naturally all thanks to this elder brother that he was proficient in all these martial arts.

Still, there were few who were aware that the supreme martial art that the Earthly Young Master Chen Kunhua was most proficient in was actually the Heart’s Will Heavenly Scripture of the Later Heaven Six Scriptures of the Jade Clear lineage’s Primordial Heavenly Scriptures.

As Chen Kunhua saw it, the Heart’s Will Heavenly Scripture was the most powerful of the Later Heaven Six Scriptures. Thus, he had cultivated it diligently, putting in much effort in doing so.

Through that Heart’s Will Seal, he was able to grasp the fluctuations of the other party’s mind. While he was unable to read their memories, for those whose cultivation bases were at a similar level to or lower than his, when they were wholly unguarded, he virtually had a hundred percent mind-reading success rate.

Chen Kunhua said, “One noteworthy thing is that there seems to be a female disciple in their sect who is very unique. There are many people who resemble her. Despite being unrelated by blood, their appearances are exactly the same as their talent as well as strength are all unordinary too…”

Partway through his words, he was interrupted by the disgusted Chen Qianhua, “You should know that I hate repetitions and similar things.”

Chen Kunhua nodded and ceased to speak.

“Whatever you want to do, go do it yourself
,” As Chen Qianhua made to leave the cave manor, Chen Kunhua asked, “Where are you going now, big brother?”

The purple-clothed youth halted, smiling languidly, “How rare that life has gotten so very interesting. I will naturally enjoy it as best I can.”

HSSB1105: First meeting with bigwig of the Prime Clear lineage

The actions of the Upper Exalt Chen Qianhua were out of the mind of Yan Zhaoge right now.

He was about to meet a person who was acclaimed alongside Chen Qianhua as he might even surpass him.

Two centuries ago Little Sword God, one century ago Heavenly Young Master.

The Heavenly Young Master here referred to the current Upper Exalt, Chen Qianhua.

The Little Sword God, meanwhile, referred to that person Yan Zhaoge was about to meet.

Long Xueji had once risen to prominence in the World beyond Worlds with the alias of ‘Qian Xueji’. He had made a brief appearance in the World beyond Worlds yet quickly vanished, hence being acclaimed as the most incandescent shooting star in the World beyond Worlds in recent years.

His actual identity was the third and youngest son of the Roving Jade Heavens’ Profound Sovereign Gao Qingxuan and Dragon Spring Emperor Long Xingquan.

In the World beyond Worlds, it was he who had set their benchmark for those next few centuries.

Those who could be acclaimed alongside him, such as Chen Qianhua and Nie Jingshen previously as well as Yan Zhaoge and Yan Di now, were all hailed as geniuses amongst geniuses who were destined to be legends.

In contrast, remarkable talents like Fu Ting did possess great fame but were still somewhat lacking in comparison.

Several years ago, Yan Zhaoge had had a run-in with Long Xueji in the lands of the Immortal Court. However, it had been a brief encounter as they could only be considered as officially meeting now.

He looked just like he had back then, a youth of around fifteen or sixteen who was garbed in snowy white clothes with a jade crown on his head.
