They headed back to Krizt’s. He looked at her and Corianne and said, “Pick your spot.”

They curled up on the abused chaise and watched a movie under a throw that Krizt brought to them. Arcady curled up against the soft and fragrant Corianne and fell asleep.

  Chapter Sixteen

Sunday went by much the same as Saturday, but with all four of them playing boardgames until Tycho had to join his team. Arcady gave him a goodbye kiss, and he bit her on the shoulder, so she called him an asshole, and he grinned. “Later if I make it before you are asleep.” After much discussion over the games, it had been settled; he actually preferred anal.

He left, and she cuddled in between Krizt and Corianne. Corianne lay flat, Arcady lay with her head on her friend’s breast, and Krizt surrounded her by being the big spoon. It was weirdly cozy.

They stayed cuddled together until it was time for dinner, and then, they headed down to harass Klauz.

They were in a detailed conversation when Tycho returned, and he had Zera, Ryma, and Torun with him. Arcady was going to say hello when Tycho was suddenly seated where Corianne had been, was pulling her into his lap, and he bit down on her neck, drawing deep. She mewled, and it got the attention of every predator at the table.

His hands opened and closed on her back until one touched her thighs, and she opened them to allow him in. He got past her panties with little difficulty, and he fingered her until she covered her mouth while she screamed.

He lifted his head, his teeth gleaming with blood. Her skin started closing, but she was a bit of a mess. Krizt leaned over and licked at her shoulder, tidying up.

Tycho rubbed his cheek along hers, and she responded. “I apologize for jumping you, but I was hungry, and supplements wouldn’t do.”

Zera chuckled. “All he was talking about when I met them was how good you taste and how soft you were. He was pretty much in the blood hunger by then, but he didn’t want me.”

Arcady nodded and leaned into Krizt’s licking while Tycho pressed his head to hers, stroking her back and the soft skin between her thighs. Corianne chuckled and looked to Ryma. “So, come here often?”

Ryma was looking at Arcady with fixation. She licked her lips.

Zera offered her wrist, but Ryma was staring. “Wow. Ryma, you are not one of hers.”

“She sounds good. She smells good.”

Arcady looked to Zera, “I am like catnip to drinkers.”

Zera looked at the four that were at the table. “So I see.”

Torun shrugged. “She makes cute sounds, but she’s no empress.”

Tycho smiled. “No, she isn’t an empress. She’s a bunny.”

Klauz came by and took orders, giving deference to the team in charge of most international call-outs. The team at the table had saved the world a few times. That gave them a little leeway for arriving without a reservation.

They ordered, and Arcady leaned up against Tycho’s chest, watching Ryma. Ryma looked sad and sharp. Arcady squirmed out of Tycho’s arms and wandered over to Ryma. The woman raised her brows and extended her hand, pulling Arcady into her lap.

Ryma looked at her and kissed her softly. Arcady timidly kissed her back, and then a hand caressed her breasts in soft exploration, and a hand gradually slid between her thighs. By the time she sank her teeth into Arcady’s neck, Arcady was on the edge, and the slipping and sliding fingers silently took her over when the burn hit. She whimpered softly, and Ryma held her tighter, pulling in a few tablespoons of blood and licking to seal the punctures. Ryma lifted her head, smiled, and nuzzled her cheek. When she pulled her hand out and licked the honey that Arcady had been producing, she blushed hotly.

Corianne grinned, and it was then that Arcady realized there was no other sound at the table.

The server came around the corner and looked at Arcady disapprovingly. She sighed. “Sorry. Just visiting.”

Elegant plates were put in front of the new arrivals, and Arcady tried to excuse herself. “You need to eat, Ryma.”

Ryma nuzzled her neck. “I did.”

“I am snack. That is food. Eat the food.” She ran her hands through Ryma’s hair. “Eat your dinner. I am going to go sit with Krizt.”

Ryma tightened her arms. “No. Stay.”

“You need something to eat. I will just be over there.”

Arcady kissed her, rubbed cheeks with Corianne and Krizt, and then cuddled in Krizt’s lap. Ryma’s bite had some kind of irritant in it, and she felt weird.

Krizt looked at the wounds, and his long tongue licked out and swirled around them, healing them.

Zera blinked. “Now, that is something I never imagined while you are in a boardroom.”

Krizt chuckled but kept licking until Arcady’s body closed the wounds. She rested against him, and he wrapped his arms around her, resting his chin on her head.

Krizt smiled. “So, the wing buds can be put in this afternoon. The energy required to use them will be extreme, so they will only be for short hops until she can channel the power more easily and build up some reserves in that area.” He was stroking her back.

Ryma blinked. “You are giving her wings?”

Arcady looked at her with sleepy eyes. “Little bunnies like me make good targets, so having a way to get away is important.”

Zera chuckled. “We are also looking into finding a way so she can fight back.”

Torun smiled. “A fighting bunny. Interesting.”

  Arcady grinned.

“And our first biotech model. Of course, you have already done some modelling, so this should be easy for you.”

Arcady’s head came up. Tycho chuckled. “Well, I had to show them.”

Krizt snorted, and Corianne laughed. She said, “The ad campaign is set for ten days from now. You have already signed the release.”

  “I did what?”

Krizt murmured, “When you signed with Corianne, you agreed to allow her to manage your finances in any way that would legally benefit you. This is one of those ways.”

  “Wait, what?”

Corianne cocked her head. “I am your manager, bunny. I did the same deal with Brieda.”

She looked between Krizt and Corianne. “So, he looks like the devil. You are the devil. Good to know.”

Her group laughed, and the other side of the table smiled. The server came back with a bottle of red wine for the four of them. “Compliments of Klauz.”

Krizt was suspicious. “He rarely gives anything away.”

He picked up his glass and sipped before offering some to Arcady. She tasted something familiar. It tasted like Krizt, like his musk when he was in his beast mode. Sweet with a bitter finish but still heady. She asked him. “What do you taste?”

  He said, “You.”

  Corianne nodded. “You.”

  Tycho chuckled. “You.”

  She blinked. “Oh.”

He asked, “What do you taste?”

  She winced. “You.”

He chuckled. “Ah, Arcady.” He kissed her, and they killed the bottle in a few minutes.

Torun looked at Arcady. “The black gown slipping off your shoulders and just clinging to the slope of your breasts. That was my favourite.”

Zera smiled. “It brought new meaning to Don’t make any sudden moves.”

Arcady groaned. She looked at Corianne. “At least tell me which ones she picked.”

Corianne looked at her smugly. “No. The first teaser ads are starting to come out this week. I will let you know where they are posted.”

She groaned. “How can there be such a large campaign planned?”

Zera smiled. “BDC is sponsoring it.”

  “What? Why?”

“We are advertising. We have a plan for a jewellery campaign in Aksalla this year.” Zera grinned. “Tirra and her new wings.”

  “Oh, very pretty.”

“And when you have the biotech, Z-Tech will sponsor another shoot. Something with the bra and panty sets.” Zera smiled.

&n
bsp; “Why?”

“The easiest way into someone’s heart is through their pants. We are trying to create a pro-active ad campaign that gets folks thinking about actives in a new way. We aren’t just hidden in the corner of the family tree; we are out having relationships that will occasionally conclude in marriage.”

“So, you are looking for marriage legality.”

Zera nodded. “And breeding permissions so that people don’t have to hide who their life partners are.”

“Wow. That’s a lot to ask of some underwire.”

  The group chuckled.

Arcady relaxed against Krizt as the group continued to chat about actives and their increasingly visible role in society. She nodded off and woke as she was dressed for bed. That was new. Corianne’s hands on her made her smile. Arcady was settled in the middle of the bed, on top of Krizt. Corianne and Tycho lay on either side with their hands on her. She had her weird little group, and she returned to sleep. Tomorrow, it was back to Z-Tech.

Hands and mouths moved on her before dawn. Her gown was slipped off her shoulders and down to her waist, pinning her arms. Hands moved up her body, stroked her, aroused her, and when she approached the edge, they lifted her and slid her onto Krizt. Tycho slid into her ass, and Corianne rubbed her face against her breasts, sucking and flicking at her nipples. They rocked together, and when the fire was ready to burst under her skin, she was bitten in three places at the same time. Her wail shook the walls as her body clenched and rioted at once. The light began to build in the room, and she took in their tableau of debauchery. She hummed happily. If she could build a few more memories like this, she would be set for life.

Corianne released first, and she licked neatly at her bite.

Arcady shivered. “That is what I like about our quad; you clean up after yourselves.”

Tycho released, and the same soft licking made her clench around him. He chuckled, and when he was done, he slid away and headed for the bathroom.

She smiled, and Corianne moved behind her, cupping her breasts and caressing her clit.

Tycho came back in and chuckled. “Starting again?”

Corianne stroked Arcady’s clit. “Just getting a little more. Can you start the coffee?”

Krizt cursed, and Corianne laughed as Arcady started squirming her hips.

Tycho came by and kissed the bunny on the way to make coffee, Krizt churned inside her, and Arcady came again with Corianne’s bite on the back of her neck, and when the soft licking had tidied up, she leaned back to kiss her, stroking a hand up her thigh, and she fingered and dipped her digits inside her and brought her to orgasm.

She nipped Corianne’s neck with her own teeth, and Corianne blinked, and then, she bucked again against Arcady’s hand. Krizt took Arcady’s hand and licked it clean from Corianne’s fluids then said, “Come on, little minx. You need to get our scents off you, or I will be crawling over you all day.”

Krizt’s hands lifted her off him, and his removal from her body caused rivulets to creep down.

The smell of coffee brought her around, and Tycho was standing at the door with his cup of coffee and her favourite mug. She scrambled over, drank the mug empty, and then beckoned for Tycho to lean down. She covered his face with kisses and then licked her way down his chest before hugging him. She sighed and murmured. “Mmm. Coffee.”

He laughed and tugged her head back. “You are a funny thing.”

She winked and headed off for her shower.

Time to get ready for work.

She buckled in, and Krizt drove them to Z-Tech. It felt weird to be wearing her new tag, but she clipped it to her blazer and stalked past Jacob in security with a polite nod.

He blinked and then nodded. “Miss Arcady, glad to have you back. Dr. Krizt, you look really... good.”

Krizt snorted, and they walked to the elevator to the lab. Arcady looked at him. “You do look really good today. Like whatever is normally itchy in your soul is now resting.”

She was wearing a deep blue business suit and heels, her hair was held in a loose twist by a single clip, and if her skirt was four inches shorter than what she would normally wear, it still covered the juncture of her thighs by three inches at least. This is what happened when her clothes came out of her BDC wardrobe. The suits she had gotten from Corianne would arrive after business opening.

They headed to Krizt’s office, swiped through the security locks, and when she saw her desk covered with Get Well Soon cards, she got a little weepy. Krizt whipped around, and then, he relaxed. “Happy tears.”

“Yeah. I even got a card from Researcher Twelleg.” She held it up. “It says, Get back here and get him under control.” She chuckled. “Isn’t that sweet?”

He sighed. “There are messages and appointments you need to make. Get to work.”

He gave her a sharp smack on the ass and laughed as he went into his office.

Actives were a different breed. That was one thing she knew for certain. She settled gingerly on her tingling butt and got the cards under control before she brought up the tangled mess of his calendar and got to work.

She started sending him to the labs to check on projects, and that let her get his schedule under control.

By morning break, she was ready for her coffee, and she headed to the breakroom. She froze and saw the stack of coffee bags all marked with bows. She giggled and approached them, checking the stickers on the bags. To her mortification, they were all from patrons who wanted to see her again. Sent to her workplace. Zera had left her out in the wilderness. It was a good thing that she had her big blue monster to watch her back.

She looked at a few of the brands, and she was a little embarrassed at how expensive the coffee was. She never got used to the patrons of the Blind Date Corporation having that much disposable income. They were all at the peak of their careers, and their careers were exclusive and had exorbitant salaries. That was how they could afford the escorts. Arcady wasn’t cheap, and she now made her equivalent salary in a month. It was a weird thing for three dates a week.

She made a cup of coffee and then did a run to get all the special coffee with client names on them back of her desk.

She was going to need room in the cupboards. She spent five minutes moving things around, and then she loaded the coffee into place with the beans to the back, the grounds to the front, and the expensive stuff to one side so she could take it home.

She was giggling and looking over her precious when warm breath caressed her cheek. “So, do you snort this stuff when I am not here?”

She turned her head to his. “Um, no. These were presents, but they had patron names on them, so I thought they should be in here.”

He grinned. “You have a very loyal following, plus Ryma now.”

  “That was... she was hungry.”

  “We were at a restaurant.”

“Not that kind of hungry.” She shrugged. “Her soul hurt. Same reason Tycho pounced on me. Torun had Zera, but whatever they did yesterday, they had to watch someone die.”

He paused. “Ah, so that is what you do.”

She nodded. “I am a companion. I lighten the spirit. That is my job, which is good because I do it naturally.”

He smiled. “You do, now finish your coffee. We have a meeting with Zera.”

  “Oh, shit.”

She jumped up, swayed, and got caught by his arms. He kissed her quickly and then stepped back. She closed the cupboard and walked to her desk, slamming down the coffee.

“How can you drink coffee that is that hot?” He tutted.

“Easy. It’s the same temperature as your cum.”

  He froze. “What?”

“That is the temperature that I drink it at. You know you run really hot, right?”

  He looked embarrassed. “I do.”

“Well, I am keeping up my tolerance for the temperature. I can’t wait to cuddle up to you in winter. Tycho is cold, so when I’m between you, it is like I need to be on a rotisserie.”

He blinked and laughed. “That is an image.”

She checked on the schedule—they still had three minutes—set the office to lock and hauled him toward the elevator. Time to get the exam for her makeover.

  Chapter Seventeen

Zera smiled. “Ryma is going to be beating down your door.”

It was the first thing that Zera said to her or Krizt.

Zera laughed. “And she can do it.”

“Will she be careful with me? I mean, if she’s a feral, they can get a little out of control. If I haven’t been on her radar yet, there was possibly a reason.”

“Oh, you are listed as hetero, but when she saw you with Corianne, she realized that it didn’t mean you were not... flexible.”

Arcady chuckled. “And she has a thing for Corianne.”

  “That too.”

“I do believe it is mutual, but Corianne likes soft things, so I might need to be the marshmallow in the smore.”

Zera laughed. “As long as you are aware of the situation. If they get together and break up, who would you keep?”

“Corianne. She needs me more. Ryma needs light maintenance; Corianne needs to be kept up.”

“Fair enough. Would you still do light maintenance?”

“Yeah, as long as she didn’t chew through me if I smelled like Corianne.”

Zera’s eyes widened. “Right. Good point. So showers.”

“A little more invasive, but sure.”

  Zera laughed. “Right. Clothes off.”

“Is there a robe, a paper shirt, a ribbon?” She looked at Zera then at Krizt, where he had his scowl on while they bantered. “I can do amazing things with a ribbon.”

  Zera snorted. “Naked. Scanner. Now.”

“Meanie.” Arcady removed her blazer, stepped out of her shoes, unsnapped and unzipped her skirt, and slipped her soft and pleated blouse over her head. She was wearing standard lacy underwear with medium support and some high-cut panties. When it was removed, she took her clothing, setting it down in a pile, right down to her hair clip, Krizt went and folded everything.

Arcady got in the scanner that posed her like the Vitruvian man, legs apart.
