Molly
Joe, my co-worker, had invited me to this party, which was not to be missed. It was being thrown by one of the wealthiest men in town, so I dragged my best friend Chloe along after getting approval from the host. The house was expansive and after giving it a quick once-over, I was glad Chloe had agreed to come out tonight. The mostly naked waiters dressed up in thongs were worth the trip alone. But the other hot men I’d spied so far—gah! I had to monitor my chin to make sure it remained drool-free. Thank God I’d overheard Joe discussing this party and wheedled an invitation out of him.
“Are you sure it’s okay?” I’d asked.
“The more the merrier,” he’d said. “Besides, wait till you see the place. You’ll flip.”
He’d been right. And speak of the devil…
“Molly! You made it.”
I turned to see Joe standing there with a drink in his hand. “Yeah, and I’m glad I did.”
“Right?”
“Yes, but you failed to mention all the hot men.”
“That’s because I don’t look for them,” he said with a huge grin on his face.
Chloe elbowed me about that time. “Oh, Joe, this is my friend, Chloe,” I said.
“It’s great to meet you. Molly talks about you a lot.”
“I hope it’s not all bad,” Chloe said.
“Nope. All good. Well, you ladies enjoy yourselves tonight.” He waggled his brows and sauntered off.
“Dang, this house is amazing,” Chloe said. “Check that out.” She pointed to a man who was surrounded by women, each of them taking turns kissing him. “Who do you suppose that is?”
“Must be the owner. Hmm. I’m going to check out that scene. Want to come?”
“Nah, I’m gonna wander around and hunt down a bar. I’ll catch you in a few.”
As I strolled over, I checked out the amazing artwork that hung on the walls and bumped into what I thought was another wall. Only it wasn’t. It was the chest of a very tall and gorgeous man.
I lifted my head and looked up and up until my gaze landed upon a beautiful set of steel-gray eyes. They were stunning, so much so I could barely tear my gaze away from his.
“Uh, sorry about that. I wasn’t watching where I was going,” I said.
“It’s perfectly fine. I do that a lot.” His voice was deep and smooth, like velvet. No, not velvet. That was too girly. And he definitely wasn’t girly.
“I can’t imagine you doing that. You look more like the kind of guy who knows exactly where he’s going every minute of the day.”
He was dressed in tailored pants that hugged his hips and a fine shirt that he’d probably worn with a tie earlier in the day. I wouldn’t have minded unbuttoning the thing to get a glimpse of what his chest looked like underneath.
“I wish,” he muttered.
“What do you wish?” I was thinking maybe I could help in that department.
“Never mind. Can I get you a drink?”
“Sure.”
He escorted me over to the closest bar and we both ordered a drink.
“I’m Molly, and you are?”
“Hugh. It’s a pleasure meeting you, Molly.”
“Likewise.” I clinked his glass with mine and eyed him as I sipped my fruity concoction. “What is this?” I asked.
“It’s their party cocktail.”
“Any idea of what’s in it?”
“Not at all, so I’d go easy on it if I were you,” he suggested, sporting a sexy smirk.
“Good idea.”
“Tell me about yourself, Molly.”
“Molly is a bit on the boring side,” I said, speaking in the third person.
He chuckled and the rich sound of his voice made my lady bits tingle. Jeez, it was only a laugh, I reminded myself.
“I’m sure you are anything but boring. Someone as beautiful as you has to lead an exciting life.” He ran a finger down my arm. Not only were my lady bits tingling, my nipples were trying to shoot out of my bra too.
“Not really.” Did I sound breathy, or was it just me?
“What kind of work do you do?” he asked.
“I work for a large group of attorneys. They do all kinds of legal work.”
“I imagine they do, since they’re attorneys.” His tongue poked the inside of his cheek.
I had to laugh. “Duh. That was a giveaway, wasn’t it?” What a dumbass. I wanted to palm my face.
“Yeah, I admit it was. Do you enjoy it?”
“Some days. Others, not so much. It’s like anything, I suppose. It has its ups and downs.”
“Are you here with anyone?” he asked.
“Actually, I am. I should probably go and catch up with her for a bit. Are you going to be around for a while?”
His eyes raked me over and a heated spark raced up and down my spine. What was it about this guy? “I will. I’m planning on making this a night to remember.” His voice hummed. Was there a hidden meaning in there just for me?
“Great. Then let me go find my friend and I’ll try to hook up with you in a little bit.”
His eyes sparkled. Had I really just said ‘hook up’ with him? “Don’t try, Molly. Make it happen.”
Damn, that sounded like a proposition I didn’t want to miss. I left Hugh, smiling, realizing my panties were wet already and he hadn’t even kissed me yet. I moved through the crowd hunting for Chloe. Across the room, I spied her at another bar with a mutual friend, Jeremy. I headed over to check out what was happening between the two of them. Maybe Chloe and Jeremy were hooking up. I giggled. That would make an interesting twist. Chloe and I had joked about having a threesome with him because he was so hot.
“Hi, guys,” I called out when I reached them.
“Hey, we were catching up,” she said.
Jeremy leaned over and kissed my cheek. As he did, a really hot guy
approached Chloe and they started chatting. If anyone deserved attention, it was Chloe.
Jeremy excused himself as some other woman caught his eye, leaving me the third wheel as the hot guy stared at Chloe like she was a prized filly.
I headed back in the direction of where I’d left Hugh, and luckily, I found him still seated at the bar where I’d left him. He stared into his drink like he was shouldering the problems of the world.
“A penny for your thoughts,” I said.
“I’m pretty sure you’d want a lot more than a penny for what’s in here after listening.” He tapped his temple.
“Ah, it can’t be that bad.”
He leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. “It’s worse, believe me. But you didn’t come to this party to hear some guy complain about his issues. So let’s toast to better times, shall we?” He picked up his glass and touched it to mine.
“To better times.”
Our eyes connected and my stomach tightened. He was hot, there was no denying it. But it was more than that. This man had depth to him, which was weird I felt it so quickly.
I took a seat next to him, wanting to explore who this man was. “Where are you from, Hugh?”
“Here. I was born and raised in this town. What about you?”
“I’m local… well, sort of. I live in the next town over, but drive into work here every day. I’d love to live here, but can’t afford it.”
“How do you like where you live?”
Shrugging, I said, “I like it okay. If I didn’t have my best friend, I probably wouldn’t like it as much.”
“I get that. It’s better when you have friends and family close by.” Then he frowned. His eyes appeared pinched at the corners. I wondered what that was all about.
“What about you? Do you have family here?”
“Yes, but that’s a story for another day. Would you like to dance?”
“I’d love to.”
There was a large dance floor off the other room, so he walked me over and we swayed with the music. I wasn’t upset when his lips sought out mine in a slow, sensual kiss. As his tongue pressed through the opening of my mouth, I thought of how it moved to the rhythm of the music. Soon, the tempo turned feverish as he sought out every secret I held.
“Come home with me tonight, Molly. Don’t deny me.”
I wasn’t the kind of girl who easily hopped into bed with a man, but tonight was different. Things were shit in my life and this man could be the cure for the night. Plus, he was impossible to resist.
“Okay.” My breath came in puffs as I tried to catch it. “But we go to my place, not yours.” I might be reckless, but I wasn’t crazy. It was better to be on my turf.
“Fine. Did you drive?” Hugh asked. I nodded my head. “Would you mind leaving your car and picking it up in the morning? Is that okay?”
I’d had a few drinks. It was probably for the best. “If they don’t mind,” I said.
“They don’t. I promise.”
“I need to call my friend first to let her know I’m leaving.” But then my phone rang and it was Chloe. “Hey, girl, I was just getting ready to call you,” I said.
Chloe asked where I was. I told her and she explained she’d met someone. She asked if I was cool if she left with him. I laughed and told her it was fine, and she had the all-clear to leave without me. Actually, I told her to get her freak on. She needed it and so did I. Then she said she was texting me a picture of the two of them.
I opened my phone at the sound of a text. It was the picture of her with Ryan, the hot guy she’d been talking to earlier. When I chuckled, Hugh asked, “Are we good?”
“Yep, all good here. My friend already left. Seems she beat me to the punch.”
“Now you don’t feel so bad, do you?”
“No, I don’t.”
He tipped my chin up and kissed me again. “I can’t wait to get you into bed, Molly,” he said before leading me outside.
I couldn’t wait, either. This was going to be a great night after all.
Two
Hugh
We arrived at a decent apartment building and Molly stared out of the window as if she hadn’t noticed we’d arrived. Had I missed my opportunity? I could have used one of Dillon’s bedrooms in his house of heathens, but he was the kind of bastard who’d have all the rooms wired for video surveillance.
Though she’d already agreed, I wanted to give her one last out so she’d have no regrets. “Should we call it a night?” I held my breath, wondering if she would say yes. Though we’d been at one of Dillon’s anything-goes-including-sex parties, I would never assume that she hadn’t changed her mind about taking me to her bed.
“No.” She gave me a sexy smile and I took that as an invitation.
The driver opened the door and helped her out. His hands on her sparked a jealousy inside me. I wrote it off as the lust I’d held at bay since I first spotted her.
I told my driver to hang around for a little bit. If I didn’t call, he could go until I texted him I was ready to leave.
We climbed the stairs to the second level and headed down a ways to her door. Her small hand shook as she opened it, and I was struck again wondering if this had been her first sex party.
Her tiny apartment was about the size of the suite of rooms I’d had at my disposal as a child growing up. My parents hadn’t flaunted their wealth. Our home was modest compared to that of my cousin, who’d been the closest thing I had to a brother for a time, or grandparents, but it was still far larger than this.
Her gaze met mine for a second before darting away like a scared kitten’s. From all the signals she gave, she’d seemed into me before we left. I might be ruthless when it came to business, but I wasn’t a total asshole when it came to women. My parents had loved each other, unlike my cousin’s parents. Their marriage had been an arrangement of sorts and they’d hated each other from the start. Dad had taught me always to treat women with respect. And I was always honest about my intentions with the women I slept with.
“Are you nervous? I know we were at a sex party, but you’re free to change your mind if you don’t want this,” I said.
Her eyes grew large as she stared at me in horror. “No!”
I clenched my jaw. “I should go then.” My dick was hard to the point of pain, but I would never force myself where I wasn’t wanted.
“No.” She held up her hand. “I mean, I didn’t know it was a sex party.”
I’d known there was something different about her. She hadn’t dressed the part of a siren. The purple dress she wore clung to her like a second skin, but she’d been more covered than any woman there, including the help. “Then I really should leave.”
She shook her head, the deep blonde curls bouncing. “No, I didn’t know, but I did invite you over for…” Her cheeks reddened, which made her all the more alluring.
“You have to say it, love, if you want me to stay.”
She lifted her chin. “I want you to fuck me.”
I couldn’t stop from grinning and held out a hand. “Lead the way.”
We could have started there, but her couch was small, and I was a big guy. I wanted room to play. After a walk down a short hallway, we stopped at the doorframe. I braced my arm against it as she turned to face me. The room wasn’t very big, much like the rest of the apartment. A bed and a small dresser took up much of the space. If I went in after her, my sheer size in the confined room might spook her. I stayed where I was.
“Strip.” It was a command, and I used the voice I did at work to get things done.
Her emerald-green eyes widened a second before they heated. My little minx liked being told what to do. Not a problem. I could give her what she wanted there.
She licked her lips and went for the thin straps of her dress, slipping them off her shoulders one at a time. The little tease flicked sultry glances my way and damn if it didn’t work. I gripped my dick through my pants to keep it from busting through. Her fucking bare sh
oulders gave me wood like no naked woman had before.
She clutched the fabric at her chest before turning around, giving me her back. Then the fabric slipped down and seemed to take an eternity to glide to the floor. Fuck me.
Her tight ass was better than I imagined framed by slim hips. The strings that wrapped around her led to a center I couldn’t wait to explore.
“Turn around.”
My voice sounded rough and I had to swallow. She gave a coy smile over her shoulder before slowly turning to face me.
Her tits were small, high, and firm. They were perfect. My mouth watered at the thought of sucking them.
So far she’d done what I asked without speaking a word, which added to her charm. It only made me wonder at her thoughts.
“Lie on the bed and play with yourself.”
She hesitated, but then gracefully did as I asked and spread her legs wide enough to use her hand between them.
Shit. I finally stepped fully into the tiny room. There wasn’t anywhere for my clothes. I let my shirt fall to the floor as she worked herself into a frenzy. She was biting her lip and squirming on the mattress by the time I unzipped my fly.
“I’m going to come,” she said, her voice breaking the silence.
I pulled a foil package from my pocket before letting my pants down. My cousin, Ryan, would have probably screwed her without protection just to get his hands on the family fortune. He was my competition in the sick game my grandfather had set up in his will. But I wasn’t that guy. Money didn’t rule my life. As much as having it over him would feed my ego, I wasn’t about to take the time to talk about sexual history. I wanted to fuck her until we both couldn’t move.
My gaze was fixed on that glistening spot between her legs and I gave in to the need to taste her. I kneeled at the foot of her bed and curled an arm around each leg to tug her to the edge.
