I believe you all have no Christmas spirit. Perhaps you should go out and find it, or instead, enjoy life. This time of year is for celebrating surviving another twelve months no matter who your God is. The people in the Mews know how to live life to the full. Take a leaf out of their book and embrace it all. You never know when it may be gone. Happy Christmas!

Well said, Neighbour12. Remember bin day is Monday! Happy Christmas.
Acknowledgements
I would like to thank Vicki Hillman and Daisy Hillman Derry for moving to the Mews just so I could write a sequel to The Single Mums’ Mansion! There would be no sequel without all the amazing people who live there and shared stories with me. Thank you to Jane Compton (for nudging me forward), Julia Whittington, Alex Sargent, Carolyn Trendall, Nick Baker and Virginia Calder.
Thanks to my agent, Charlie Viney, for always being a gangster and watching my back. Thanks also to Sarah Ritherdon, the best editor in the bookiverse, to Yvonne Holland and Sue Lamprell for your eagle-eyed detection and fine tuning, and to all the brilliant people at Head of Zeus and Aria. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.
Thanks to Fiona Angel for letting me steal her name, and to Andrew Watson for his infamous feta cheese story. Special recognition to Joanna Hoggarth for being my dating app expert and donating the squirrel dating disaster! Thank you, Neil Sheppard, for the character chapter idea (and curing my writer’s block), and for always listening to me driving myself insane when the process takes over my life. Big thanks to Remziye Kounelaki for her expert advice about sexual health and answering all my text enquiries so quickly!
I’m also very grateful to Susie Hoggarth and Anne Hillman for racing through the first draft for me and bolstering me up. Thank you to additional readers: Katie and Joanna Hoggarth, and Vicki Hillman and Nick Baker for their valuable fashion and plotting advice. Thank you also to my dear friend, H, for all information regarding Alcoholics Anonymous.
Well done, Ele Clark, Susie and Charlie for suggesting I draw a map at the front of the book. I loved doing it!
As usual writing wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of Neil and my children, Lilla, Teya and Danny. Sorry for disappearing into a void for months at a time and not showering or getting out of my pyjamas.
Finally, a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who bought The Single Mums’ Mansion, and to those of you who wrote to me about your own journeys. It really does mean the world to me. We’re all on the same path and we just need to keep going forward!
