Cross Faded, a new urban fantasy coming May 2019 from Crazy Ink Press

Some things you aren’t ever meant to see…

When Ezra Ashford woke up from a four-day bender and watched a woman in medieval armor kill a scarab the size of a Great Dane in his apartment with a sword, he assumed it was a hallucination on account of, y’know, all the drugs.

But truth is often stranger than fiction, and now that he sees these monsters everywhere, he’s convinced he might be losing his mind like his mother did before she disappeared.

He hopes his new meds will make his symptoms disappear in six-eight weeks, but there’s something oddly realistic about the beasts he’s seeing, which gives him a thought that scares him even worse than losing his mind: They might be real.

And if this isn’t just a nightmare he can pop some pills to get rid of, then Ezra’s completely out of his element and out of time.

Because now that he can see the monsters, it turns out they can see him, too… And that might be the worst part of it all.
