The ongoing presence of these new forces would stay in the cities, giving even more credibility to the assurance that cities across the nation no longer had to live with the magnitude of violence that had become the norm. It wouldn’t be perfect, but it would be much better than before. The Mafia and the government would see to it.
But for now, the cities across the nation were exploding with violence as organized crime and gangs were being systematically eliminated with the kind of unchecked violence that had never been seen before.

Gabby’s auburn hair bounced around the back of the cap it was weaved through as she pranced down the street like an excited college girl. The front bill of the hat was pulled down just enough so cameras couldn’t easily see her blue eyes. All that showed of her face was her newly glossed plump lips and her perfect jaw. Her neck and shoulders were exposed.
She and Adam had been debriefed to keep their faces looking anywhere but up. The globalists would be using their cameras with facial recognition technology to identify them. The slight shadows cast on their face by the twilight also helped make a positive identification more difficult.
Gabby had a bounce to her gait. She was doing in on purpose to made her breasts bounce. She was scared. There were cameras everywhere for the next few blocks, and authorities would be watching. She had remembered Adam’s dry humorous comment that nobody would be looking at her face. She was hoping that anyone monitoring the cameras wouldn’t see enough of her face to identify her and her bouncing assets would distract any onlookers from identifying them.
Gabby did a little pirouette in front of Adam. She was acting playful, but it was an act. She took the opportunity to look behind them. The coast was clear.
***
At the police headquarters, a young man looked at camera footage. Suddenly he noticed Gabby. Her ultra-tight top revealed her assets. Her bouncing breasts were something that instinctively commanded his full attention. He enjoyed every bounce. He looked from the front and from the side.
Then a moment later, he snapped himself out of it. He had better not get caught gawking. The world was so politically correct, he could actually lose his job. After all, his superior was a middle aged, politically correct female who, deep down inside, harbored well-taught resentment for alpha males and almost anything that accompanied their instinctive traits. She was all about the things that had led the UK down this path of globalization. He and his kind were now prisoners in their own country. He was planning his get-away to the United States, but he wasn’t ready yet. He needed to save more money and he needed his job to do it.
He took his focus off Gabby and looked around for anyone matching the descriptions of the two people he was searching for.
Chapter 67
Alexus walked up and stood at a polite distance from Madison. Madison motioned for her to approach.
Alexus stepped forward and stood to Madison’s side. She paused. The president turned to face her. She said, “We have confirmation that one of our safe houses in London was just infiltrated by UN forces.”
George’s startled look cut through Alexus.
“The vice president wasn’t there,” Alexus quickly added, her eyes big.
The edge of George’s tight lips turned slightly upward.

Francisco Gonzalez stepped down onto the back of the small fishing boat and handed the man a bag full of money. The owner-captain of the boat immediately felt it was heavier than usual.
The captain looked at Gonzalez. He opened and immediately closed the bag. He didn’t stop to count the money. He nodded and noticed Gabby’s womanly shape and a larger figure directly behind her. He wouldn’t ask their names, he never did.
Gonzalez immediately turned, offering his hand to Gabby. She stepped to the side, allowing Adam to come on board. As she stepped past Mauricio, the captain handed her a long overcoat. “Here, put this on. It gets damp out there.”
It was then that the distant light of the pier shone on Adam’s face. It illuminated his profile enough for the captain to realize who he was. The captain froze momentarily. “Sir, you’d best have a seat over here.”
“Help me cast off,” the captain said to Gonzalez. “We’d better get out of here.”
Gonzalez had led Adam and Gabby out of the city. Realizing the deep state would have every harbor and airport in the area covered, Mauricio had Gonzalez take Adam and Gabby northwest. They would cut across the straits to Ireland.
Knowing the English Channel was one of the most heavily monitored waterways on the planet, they wouldn’t communicate with anyone. This chartered fishing boat was their best option. They needed to get off the island.
Dawn was a few hours away. The search for Adam and Gabby was undoubtedly expanding by the hour. They had to get underway before even these ports on the west side of the country were being watched.

Krieger looked at Mauricio. “Don’t say a word.”
The small stealth aircraft they were packed into had taken off from an aircraft carrier. Krieger was squished into the small fuselage like a sardine. The seat was too small for him. Mauricio looked at him and eyed his seat and smirked. This time he didn’t say a word, he let his smile say it all. The only other two people with them were Special Forces. They were serious. They didn’t say a word. There was no pilot.
When Mauricio closed his small computer screen, there was complete blackness again. Flying at just over 20,000 feet, they headed north by northwest.
Mauricio said, “Just a few more minutes.”
The light above the door began to flash. They each turned on their small oxygen supply tanks on their suits. That flashing light illuminated the small area enough so the others could see the SEAL commander had pulled down his goggles. They did the same.
When the door began to open, the frigid outside air gushed in. The countdown started in their ear pieces. A few moments later the light changed color and the four of them jumped out.
The pitch-black night and the sea below them was disorienting. It took Krieger a moment to stabilize before he glanced at his wrist watch. He watched the readout of his altitude and the direction of the intended drop zone.
When the screen on his watch flashed at two thousand feet, he pulled his chute cord. Their locating devices allowed the small vessel to quickly pick them up.
On board, each of the men stripped while the crew gathered the chutes which were put into a bag and dropped into the sea. The homing device would allow the bag to be picked up by a small stealth sub.
Krieger and the team changed into local attire. Then they donned shoulder holsters, Glocks, and waist belts. They each took several magazines.
The boat headed towards the shores of Ireland. At a safe house, they’d meet up with Adam and Gabby, and escort them to a location where they could be picked up safely.
Chapter 68
Seeing Krieger when she walked into the safe house brought Gabby an immediate sense of security. The boat ride to the small port on the east coast of Ireland had been uneventful. Making it to this safe house in the south was a relief.
The deep waters off the coast of Waterford would allow them to be picked up a few miles off shore by a sub, which would take them to an aircraft carrier. From there, they’d be flown back to the States.
Gabby’s sense of relief was short lived. The tone being used in the adjoining room was unsettling. Gabby finally heard the SEAL commander say, “Yes sir.”
The next thing Gabby heard was the unmistakable sound of Krieger walking across the floorboards of the old house.
Krieger came into the room, followed by Mauricio. “The harbor is being watched. If they know we’re here, it won’t take long for them to find us. This town isn’t that big. We’d better get you out of here now.”
Mauricio looked at the local commander. He said, “We can get them
out of the city, but I hesitate to make any electronic communications.” Then he looked at Gonzalez and said, “Tell me you have some options or contacts here on the island?”
Gonzalez thought for a second and then said, “Only one.”
***
About four hours later, Gabby walked into the adjoining room of the suite. She took a sip of her sparkling mineral water. She had just put on new clothes. Gonzalez’s contact had gotten them for her from a shop on the grounds. It was a classy, fitted outfit designed for European women about thirty. This castle sure beat the past two safe houses.
To remain as undetected as possible, Gonzalez had checked into one room with Gabby. Adam was in an adjoining room as a guest of the women who had gotten Gabby her new outfit.
It had all been set up by Gonzalez, who had contacted Sonya Snyder, an old friend he could trust. Currently, Snyder was showing Captain Kurt Kimball around the grounds. He was actually doing reconnaissance. Snyder had retired early a few years ago, and was living out her dream of being in charge of a world class hotel. Here at the Ashford Castle, she was in her element. The woman was almost fifty, but still retained traits of her stunning beauty. Her green eyes sparkled and, though her hair was now dyed, she’d chosen the dirty blond color of her youth. It suited her. It was clear that she admired Mauricio who, through a personal contact, had gotten Snyder the initial interview here at the castle.
Kimball looked around warily as they walked. The expansive grounds covered almost four hundred acres. Once the home of the famed Guinness family, this historic world class five-star castle in County Mayo dated back to 1228. The grounds and the nearby town had formed the backdrop for many famous movies, including the John Ford film, The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, which had received seven Academy Award nominations. The castle also drew some of the most powerful people in the world; both Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton had stayed there.
Snyder directed Kimball’s attention to the Cong river. It fed cold water into the forty-four thousand acres of Lake Corrib, well known for its brown trout, salmon and pike fishing. After walking the grounds, Kimball was satisfied that the presence of Adam and Gabby hadn’t been detected… yet.
* * *
Early that morning Kimball shook Adam awake. “Mr. Vice President, you need to get up. We have company.”
Sleeping in his clothes, in case a fast getaway was needed, Adam took a deep breath and got out of bed. He immediately headed for Gabby’s room where she met him at the doorway. Krieger had awakened her at the same time.
There was a knock at Adam’s door.
Kimball and Davis, the two Special Forces guys, took Adam and Gabby into the other room. Krieger positioned himself to the side of the door and pulled his pistol, then looked through the peep hole. It was Sonya Snyder, Gonzalez’s friend.
Krieger let her in. He put the chain back on the door when it closed.
Snyder quickly stepped farther into the room. “The authorities have the road blockaded, and they’re stopping every vehicle that’s coming in and out of here. Our security cameras show they’ve also closed off the service entrances.”
Krieger looked at Adam. “They’re most likely British SRR.”
“SRR?” Adam questioned. He wasn’t familiar with them.
They’re a relatively new special forces unit of the British Army, called the Special Reconnaissance Regiment. They specialize in close target reconnaissance and surveillance with eyes on intelligence.”
Sonya now understood more of what was happening, and looked at Gabby. “Well then, you don’t have much time.” Her gaze switched back to Krieger. “There’s a woman at the front desk reviewing records of everyone who has checked in over the past two nights.”
Kimball said, “That must be them. They have very highly trained men and women. She’s probably a member of a special detachment acting on a tip.”
Adam turned to look out the window. Gabby followed and looked out over his left shoulder.
Adam turned back to Snyder. “What are the other options to get out of here?”
Snyder looked at Gabby and then to Adam and said, “Can you ride?”
“A horse?” Adam questioned.
“Yes sir,” she said, “a horse.”
As Adam, Gabby, Krieger, Mauricio, Gonzalez and the two secret service agents all huddled together, Snyder looked to Krieger. She explained, “The bike trails parallel the roads, but the equestrian trails go around the lake and through the woods. They cut across the most scenic parts of the grounds.”
Krieger nodded. “It’s better than going on foot. Sounds like our best option. How do we get there?”
Snyder began to point out the window and say, “It’s just over…”
Kimball interrupted. “It’s over a hundred yards away. They’ll be exposed.”
Snyder hadn’t thought of that. She nodded in agreement.
Kimball looked at Adam and Gabby and added, “They’ll be looking for you traveling together. We’d better split you up.”
***
The two special forces guys tied the sheets together.
Mauricio said, “Dump your all electronics, any type of electronic device you have. These guys have the latest state-of-the-art electronic surveillance gear to eavesdrop and track their targets.”
Gabby and Adam had dumped their phones in the safe house in London, but Adam had one that Mauricio had given him when they’d got to the castle. He passed it back over to Mauricio. He looked at Adam and then turned to Krieger and said, “We need to communicate with the sub. These devices should be clean, but there’s no guarantee who’s been compromised.”
Krieger understood Mauricio’s concern… They’d need to change the pickup point… again. “Affirmative.” Turning to Captain Kimball he said, “You go with Gabby, and have Davis go with Adam.”
Kimball turned and stepped over to the window. He opened it slowly and looked around. He motioned for Gabby to come over. He’d go down first. She’d follow.
As Kimball was lowering himself down. Adam gave Gabby a hug and a kiss.
He held her waist and said, “I’ll see you in a few minutes.”
Gabby smiled and said, “The next time we stay here I want to be in the Presidential Suite.”
Adam smiled, laughed and said, “Absolutely, as it should be… and we’ll do some fishing.”
“Of course.” With that Gabby began to let herself down the sheet to the ground, immediately followed by Gonzalez. The SRR would be looking for two people, so Krieger had put the three of them together. He hoped that, with Gonzalez’s stature, it would help them be overlooked.
Adam quickly changed again and Krieger handed him a hat.
“Wear this,” Krieger said, “and keep your head down. Snyder, can you escort the vice president to the stables? Our best chance for him to get there is if he walks with you.”
Snyder nodded. “Sure.”
“When you get there, get the vice president and Gabby mounted up, and show them where to go. Shit, where do we meet up with them?”
Snyder thought for a second than had an idea. “There’s a small town just on the other side of the estate. One of the equestrian trails comes out there. I can mark up a map, and you can meet them there.”
“Sounds good,” Krieger said.
Adam put on his hat and said to Snyder, “Sonya, you ready?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be,” she said with some trepidation. Then she took a breath and, with more confidence said, “Let’s do this, sir.”
Adam took a step towards the door and then turned to Krieger. “Bill, how are you getting out?”
Krieger had no misconceptions about his ability to make a stealthy getaway in broad daylight, so for better or worse, he had formulated a plan.
“I have an alternate plan… You’d better get going sir.”
Adam knew they only had minutes, so he nodded, opened the door and headed out with Snyder.
Chapter 69
“How in the hell did they track that shipment?” President George Carnegie snapped at the General who was monitoring the extraction of the gold from the states.
The General hesitated with his response. The two largest shipments of gold were free and clear. However, the Pennsylvania, which was headed home with its hull full of gold, had been diverted to pick up the vice president. Another shipment that was on a stealth ship, had driven directly into an oil tanker undetected. The UN forces were currently tracking two decoy ships. The largest air shipment was also free and clear, and on its way to safety. Though this shipment was sizeable, it wasn’t the largest by any means and the president had been apprised that most likely they all wouldn’t get through.
The General relented. “We don’t know how they traced it, hell they may have just used some deductive reasoning. We don’t have much time, so let’s focus on what we can do about it. They don’t have it yet.”
Dr. Owen’s team had intercepted the communication that the SAS, Special Air Services, was going to catch up to the plane and force it down. When this British special services unit forced the plane down, they’d not only confiscate the gold, they’d use the capture as a political tool to whatever ends they could. The president knew the agenda of the globalists was to get him out of office before he got more done for the nation.
The president got the feeling that the General had something in mind. “You’re right General; what are our options?”
The General had Owen hook him into another area of the Area 51 base, then he turned to the president. “They’re tracking the plane by its transponder. We prepared for this, if it’s not too late.”
George had been briefed on the military’s technology to change the transponder signals that identify aircraft, but he hadn’t ever witnessed its use.
