Paul's Pursuit: Dragon Lords of Valdier Book 6 Page 24

by S. E. Smith

Morian looked at him with eyes the color of molten gold. She licked the spot on his thigh twice before she let her canines elongate. “Please!” He hissed as she ran her tongue over her teeth. “Please, Morian,” he begged in a strangled voice.

His balls were so hard and full he hurt. His cock throbbed with pre-cum seeping from the head, weeping in need. He drew his legs up as far as the golden ropes around his ankles would allow but there was no relief except for what she could give him.

“Damn it, please,” he panted as he strained, shaking with need.

“I love you, Paul Grove,” Morian whispered before turning and sinking her teeth into his thigh, breathing every bit of the love that she had burning inside her for him.

“Oh God!” Paul gasped as he watched and felt the flaming waves rushing through him. His body jerked as his balls drew up impossibly harder before exploding. “Oh God!” He groaned out as his seed shot out coating her shoulder, neck and back.

He would have been embarrassed if not for the waves of heat filling his balls again. The heady rush of desire was building up, making him continue to throb. His eyes blurred as emotion choked him. He needed to be inside her. He needed to bury himself so deep there was no way to tell where he ended and she began. He groaned loudly when she pulled away and licked the blazing mark of the dragon that she had left on the inside of his thick thigh.

Brushing her lips along his length, she crawled up his body. With a thought, the gold bands dissolved releasing him from his imprisonment. Paul wrapped his hands around her waist and lifted her until she was straddling him. With one powerful thrust, he lowered her over his thick, swollen length drawing a long groan from both of them. He raised her up again, pulling back just far enough to pull his bulbous head to the entrance of her slick channel before he thrust up at the same time he pulled her down over him again. Over and over he forced her to ride him until he thought he would go mad with the pleasure.

Flipping her over so he was above her, he let the waves of heat coursing through him drive him with a primitive need to claim, possess, and cover her with his essence. He wanted to draw her into him. His body rocked in and out of her. Her fingers clawed at his shoulders and arms as she wrapped her legs around his waist.

“Yes!” She cried out huskily as her body clamped down on his, breaking apart as she came. The waves of fire burning her as she shattered once again. Her cry grew louder as he grunted and stilled above her, his body jerking as he came heavily inside her.

He groaned as his arms trembled at the effort to hold himself up so he wouldn’t crush her. “Damn!” He hissed as he closed his eyes and clenched his jaw as the waves continued to pulse out of him.

He fell over to the side, pulling her close to him after several long moments. He held her head against his chest as the aftermath of such an intense orgasm shook him to the core of his being. It didn’t matter how many times they came together, each time just kept getting better. His body melted down into the soft comforter.

He drew in a deep breath before he released it slowly. “Wow!” He said staring up at the ceiling with unseeing eyes. “That was…. Wow,” he repeated.

Morian tilted her head to look at him. “That was just the beginning,” she grinned. “Just give us a couple of minutes. The dragon’s fire has just started,” she giggled as she ran her bare leg over his.

Paul shook his head and grinned like an idiot. “I think I have died and gone to heaven,” he chuckled.

Morian rolled until she was looking down at him with a serious expression. “Do you think of this as your heaven?” She asked, biting her lip. “I have talked to Abby about this place. Do you think you will miss your world?” She asked feeling a small blossom of fear blooming inside her.

Paul brushed her dark hair back from her face with a slightly unsteady hand. “You are my world,” he said looking deeply into her eyes. “You said you would like to go to the stars once. I’d like to take you to my world to show you the ranch I have there but if I never saw it again I wouldn’t miss it. I have found everything I thought I would never have again. I have you and a wonderful family,” he admitted with a soft smile.

Morian smiled back before her eyes widened as an intense wave of heat brushed against her insides. Paul’s smile turned devilish as he felt the answering wave inside him. The dragon’s fire was ready for round two – or three – he had lost count. He pulled her down to capture her lips as they both went up in flames again.

Several hours later, Paul stood on the balcony that curved around their living quarters. He needed to remember to take extra sheets and leave them in the atrium. He was forever destroying Morian’s clothing and having to wrap her up in the coverings from the bed. He had carried her back to their rooms a little over an hour ago where they had bathed together before falling into bed again. Even as sated as his body was, he knew there was one more thing he needed to do before he could give in to the exhaustion pulling at him.

He had carefully unwound his body from Morian and pulled on a pair of loose fitting sweatpants that hung low on his hips. He moved on silent feet as he quietly slipped outside so he could look up at the stars glittering in the clear night sky. He breathed in deeply as he felt the sad emptiness that he had carried since Evelyn’s death melt away. His eyes moved from star to star until he thought he had found the perfect one.

“Hi honey,” he whispered staring up at it. “I want you to know I’ll always love you. You gave me a beautiful baby girl and helped me protect her as she grew into a beautiful young woman,” he said before he looked down at where his hands grasped the thick stone of the balcony railing. He looked up again at the twinkling star with a sad smile. “I know you will always be looking over Trisha. She gave us a gorgeous grandson. You would have loved holding him. He is going to be a strong warrior one day, just like his mom and you.” He paused for a minute before he continued in a voice gruff with emotion. “I wanted to tell you goodbye and to…. and to thank you for being there all these years. I don’t think I would have made it without knowing you were there looking down on us. I’ve met the most amazing woman. She’ll never take your place but she fills my heart and my soul until I feel like I’m going to burst from all the love I have for her. She is my future now and I’m going to do everything I can to make her happy.” His voice faded as he felt a slender hand slip around his waist. He turned to look down at the tear-filled eyes of his true mate. He pressed a kiss to her forehead. “I’d like to introduce you to someone,” he muttered in a slightly embarrassed voice.

He pointed up to the star he had chosen. “That’s Evelyn. I was just…. I was just….” He couldn’t continue as the tears blocked his throat.

Morian looked up where he pointed and smiled. “Hi Evelyn. Thank you so much for taking such good care of Paul and Trisha,” she answered softly. “I want you to know I can take over now and care and protect them for you if you would like,” she said hesitantly not sure how Paul would feel about her offering to take over.

Paul trembled as he tried to hold back the tears he couldn’t shed when he was a boy of twenty-one. He nodded. “I’d…. We’d like that,” he choked out hoarsely.

He turned with Morian standing in front of him, his arms wrapped around her waist and her holding him close. They both stared up at the star in silence for a long time.

  “Goodbye Evelyn,” Paul whispered.

“Jalo, watch over her for us,” Morian whispered at the same time. “She deserves it.”

They both watched as the star appeared to glimmer brightly before it flashed. Before their eyes, a second star appeared near it. A deep sigh of contentment echoed in the fragrant night air as the Gods heard their quiet wish and granted it. It would appear even stars had true mates.

  Author’s Note:

I hope everyone enjoyed Paul’s Pursuit. The story of Paul and Morian might bring the end of the fight for power between the Dragon Lords and their uncle but it is not the end of the stories of the Valdier d
ragons, their warriors or their symbiots. The warriors have a different battle now, helping the women they have brought from Earth come to understand and accept them. Some of the women have encountered great hardship and it is hard for them to learn to trust. This is the case of Melina, Cree, and Calo. The stories continue with Twin Dragons: Dragon Lords of Valdier Book 7 coming soon.
