Eagan rose up on his knees to line his cock up with her opening, before coming down on his forearms to brace his body above hers. He thrust forward only a bit, enough to rub the crown of his cock against her clit. It slid easily with the slickness of her arousal easing the way. He teased her with tiny movements, but this time he was able to kiss her lips as he did. He nipped at her mouth, sucking her bottom lip as he pushed the head of his cock into her waiting body.
Beth’s eyes had fluttered closed and she bore the cutest look of concentration as he continued to tease her. Her nipples were hard, the tips of them grazing across his chest each time he moved. He knew she wouldn’t be able to last much longer, and he needed to feel her come undone around him.
Lowering his face to her shoulder, her body shuddered the moment before he pressed fully inside her body with one long, slow stroke. “Oh God.”
Eagan opened his mouth and sucked on the bruise, knowing he couldn’t help but return here, return to the mark that showed the world she was his. What he hadn’t realized that while he might bear a physical sign, Beth had placed a mark on him as well, one that would never go away.
He loved her.
Love wasn’t an emotion he’d experienced much even before his re-birth. He hadn’t bothered to seek it out and then with the war, it was the last thing he was concerned with. Missing an emotion he hadn’t really experienced wasn’t something he’d ever worried about once he’d been implanted with his matrix. But now, oh now he knew this was what he felt and it would forever change who he was.
All thanks to the woman who’d come to save him without knowing that’s what she was doing.
They began to move in rhythm with one another. He thrust forward as she bucked against him, their bodies connecting over and over until the only thing he was aware of was her and the arousal building inside him. Sweat pooled between them, making their bodies slide, rubbing each bit of skin until they moved like a perfectly timed machine.
Beth’s breathing grew frantic as she increased the bucking of her hips. He could feel her impending orgasm and wanted to fall over the edge with her. Shifting his legs, he pressed his rondella hard against the outside of her leg, needing to feel the rush of blood that would push him into his release. The steady silent beat that drove him toward the edge grew louder in his head, echoing in his brain as it consumed every cell and circuit in his body. With his face pressed against her shoulder, Eagan closed his eyes and focused his attention on her, on the emotions rolling off her, on just how close she was to coming and wanting to be there with her.
The first feel of her orgasm trickled down his spine like an electrical current. It kickstarted something deep inside him. The cool detachment that had comprised his world view was blown from his mind, replaced by a full spectrum color blast. Pleasure mixed with love and a sense of peace as Beth tensed beneath him and cried out as her orgasm washed through her. Eagan let his walls fall as he gasped and came with her, before biting down on her shoulder.
He slammed into her over and over as years of pain and suffering dissipated. His orgasm ripped him apart, flooding him with pleasure so intense he couldn’t imagine a world without it, a world without her. With one final stuttering thrust, he lost the ability to hold himself up any longer and collapsed down on her. It took her slapping at his shoulder to bring him to his senses enough to shift beside her. “Sorry.”
“S’okay.” Beth turned and tucked herself beneath his arm. “That was amazing.”
Eagan wrapped her up in his arms, pressing his nose into the soft waves of her hair. “Did I meet your expectations?”
“Surpassed them.” She began to draw tiny circles on his chest. “Is it too early to say that I love you? Because I’m pretty sure that I do and I’m not sure how that’s possible.”
For the first time since his re-birth, Eagan was happy. He pulled her a bit tighter to him. “I’ve learned that some things are better not to question. Somehow, despite a galaxy between us, you found a way to me. You saved me when I didn’t know I needed saving. You showed me that I could love and was worth of love in return.”
She peeked up at him. “You love?”
“Yes, I love you.” He kissed the top of her head. “Something I wasn’t sure I was capable of doing.”
She made a happy hum. “Where do we go from here?”
“Anywhere we want. As long as we’re together.”
“I love the sound of that. Let’s plan something.” She let out a long, jaw-cracking yawn. “After a little nap.”
“Rest, little one. We have the rest of our lives together.”
Eagan pulled the blanket up to cover them both, closed his eyes and went to sleep, daring to dream of the future with the woman he loved.
