‘GROUP HUG!’ hollered Sophia.
‘PIPPING PIPIS I almost forgot,’ gasped Olivia. ‘Before you go on your next adventure, Oscar, we have to take a selfie!’
Sea Star Reef Summer Camp may have ended, but it was still the holidays and the mermaids were super excited to be back in Turtleville. More importantly, they were happy to be back in the Tearooms and filling their bellies with Grandmer Coral’s delicious seaweed scrolls.
‘Well, if it isn’t my little explorers back from camp.’ Grandmer Coral chuckled. ‘Chloe told me all about the MERMAZING week you had.’
‘It was the best,’ exclaimed Sophia.
‘We can’t wait to go again, can we?’ added Willow.
Olivia sighed.
‘What’s the matter, Olivia?’ asked Chloe.
‘I’m just being silly,’ she said. ‘I’m so happy to be back in Turtleville, but I miss Oscar.’
‘Don’t be sad, my SWEET LITTLE SCALLOP,’ said Grandmer Coral. ‘I have something that will definitely cheer you up.’
‘What are you talking about, Grandmer?’ asked Chloe.
With a little wink, Grandmer Coral handed Olivia the morning newspaper. ‘Just have a look at today’s Turtleville Times.’
Olivia had the BIGGEST smile on her face as she read out the headline. ‘TURTLEVILLE’S LITTLEST EXPLORERS FIND THE LITTLE DUMBO.’
‘OH. MY. POSEIDON!’ gasped Sophia.
Willow giggled. ‘It’s our selfie with Oscar.’
‘MERMAZING!’ cheered Chloe.
And there, on the front page of the Turtleville Times, was the best memory from the best holiday the mermaids had ever had.
