Victor was losing it, his wolf was now taking over. As his mate squirmed in his grasp, it devoured her sweet offering as he licked away at her pink folds. The need to fill her full of his seed was so overwhelming that he didn't even bother getting back into the bed. He rose to his knees and pulled his mate more over the edge of the mattress and in one hard thrust became one with her. Mica’s eyes shot wide open as he pulled her legs up over his shoulder and leaned his body ahead forcing her to bend with him. Victor clasped her hands and felt his fangs erupt in his mouth, his body aching with the need consuming him.
Mica looked panicked, her eyes as well as her scent held fear and it confused the man inside. But the beast would have its mate. Denied the union for far too long he slammed himself into her. The feeling of her body sent deep primal feelings into the wolf.
"Victor stop!” She wailed out suddenly. The anguish in her words killed the beast’s need.
"Mica...I...did I hurt you?” He fumbled with the words as his mate’s eyes leaked tears in a steady stream.
"Please...it’s okay just let go of my hands.” She said and he did as she asked.
"Do you want to stop?” He asked, his beast snarled its disapproval within him.
"No.. but just go slow, please.” She told him and pulled his face to hers.
"I love you Victor” She said before kissing him.
Taking his time he moved slowly, keeping control as not to hurt her again. The feeling of his building climax was a slow, almost painful burn within him, however, he would not go harder. He didn't want to see the look of fear or panic in his mate’s eyes again. Kissing her harder as she quivered under him, he knew he would not last through her climax. Her body gripped his in a repeat of hard pulses as she gasped. Her breasts heaving on her chest turned a lovely flush of red and the scent of her told him she was cresting into her climax.
Mica grabbed a hold of his arms, her small hands trembled as she cried out, her legs wrapped over his shoulders stiffened and shook. The torrent of her body washed over him, the waves of heated cream making her slick and the scent more than he could take.
"Mica, oh god Mica I Love you.” He cried out. Heat rolled up his spine, his balls tightened as his seed ripped from him spilling into her. This was heaven he thought, his mate and himself in this union. No feeling in the world could ever replace it.
Collapsing off of her, Victor pulled her into his arms and kissed her with all the love in his heart. His beautiful mate was slick with sweat, her flesh hot and silky under his hand’s caresses.
"I love you Victor.” She murmured on his lips.
"You know I'm not done with you yet” He told her as she pulled her mouth from his. The lust in her eyes told him she wasn't done with him either.
Mica got up from the bed and smiled down at him mischievously. The twinkle in her eyes almost a bemused look as she stepped towards the bedroom door.
"Where are you going?"
"Outside I want to run.” She stated and she turned and fled with a giggle.
"Woman, come back here!” He said as he bolted after her.
As Mica flung the cabin door open he sensed her shifting. The hunt was on and Victor felt the pull of his wolf. The overpowering urge to chase after its mate gripped him and he shifted before making the doorway.

Scott sat on the sofa beside his sister in Frank and Ajei's log cabin. The Alpha looked between them with a strange expression on his face.
"So you mean to tell me Mica is willing to go along with this?"
"Yes." Anna stated simply.
"Victor will never allow it!" Frank huffed.
"Victor really has no say in the matter." Anna told him flatly. His sister had that steely edge to her tone that told Scott wouldn’t tolerate this male interfering with her plans.
"This will only help the kinfolk Frank, for those willing to take part. It will help the declining Lycan numbers." Ajei said as she brought a tray of tea into the room. Frank stared up at his mate and Scott could tell by the look she gave him who really ran the pack. It was not the Alpha but his mate. When Ajei said something had to be done Frank listened. The woman was so much like her daughter, exuding power that the wolf within him feared. The man would never have sensed it, however; it was something only the animal part of him could pick up on.
The debate of whether or not Mica should be allowed to take part in the Hybrid project had been going on for almost two hours now. Scott had listened to his sister defend Mica's rights of free choice and felt great pride in her. As teens she’d been told she’d be mated to an Alpha named Travis from an allied pack, but she’d been in love with Scott's best friend Matt. The two had run away together and it ended badly for Matt. Travis had him killed and in doing so unleashed Anna's wrath.
His sister never told him the details, but deep down he knew she’d killed the other man. They never found a body, or any evidence to say she did it. But somehow he knew. Maybe it was because they were twins; maybe it was because he’d wanted to kill Travis himself. Either way he had known and he couldn't hold it against her. It was what helped to shape his leader, gave her the freedom to fight for the people within the Flock. A change was coming for those who wanted it whether the rest of the werewolf population liked it or not.
"We need to help them Frank." Ajei said as she passed the tea to everyone.
"Given the fact that Mica's bite has altered Dmitri's DNA it proves she’s the key to this." Anna said using his given name again.
"I'm sorry but we still need to bring Victor on board for this. He’s her mate and if we leave him out of the loop there will be hell to pay." Frank told them.
"If Mica is willingly going to help then he should support her decision." Scott said.
Throughout most of this conversation he’d simply listened. But he knew how much Mica felt about having her freedom of choice, it was something he respected.
"Mica is a smart young woman. She has the well being of her pack in mind, the entire pack not just the wolves. A true Alpha if ever there was one. Her mate should stand behind her decision." Anna said.
Scott watched as Ajei’s eyes fogged a little and she smiled. It seemed to be a knowing smile and he had to wonder what she knew that she wasn't telling the rest of them.
"Ajei?" Frank asked. He’d noticed it as well.
"Mica will be what she’s meant to be. No one will stop what fate has in store for her not even her mate. Tonight is a night of change, the spirits are eager and excited. Soon we will be gifted with another special member of the pack and this one will be the first of the new Lycan's.” She said cryptically.
"What the hell does that mean?" Anna stated forwardly.
"It means that the time of change is upon us. Together the Amalgamation and the Flock will make the way for peace. A precious gift was created tonight, he will be the herald of change within all the packs."The smile widened on Ajei face as she spoke.
Scott knew what she was talking about, he knew Mica and Victor had left for the night having gotten Shea to watch Lea. His stomach knotted, they were together in a way he’d wanted to be with Mica. The heaviness in his chest felt as if it would kill him. Fighting the growing ache, he stood and headed out the front door. He loved her and this was more painful than he could bear.
The coolness of the night air stung his eyes. He heard the soft footsteps and felt the icy hand on his arm.
"This is the way it was meant to be Scott." Ajei told him with a gentle tone in her voice.
"I love her.” He stated
"I know, but your fate is with another. One you already know.” She said and he turned to look at her.
"How is that possible, Mica is all I ever wanted."
"Sometimes what we want is not want was right for us. Your mate is here Scott. The two of you just don't know it yet.” She told him and turned and walked back into the cabin leaving him confused by her words. How could his mate be here and not be Mica, he thought. The
re was no one else he felt this way towards, no one that made his heart ache to feel their touch.
Chapter 33
Alaric stood before the other Alpha's of the Alliance, his wounds still slowly healing had made this meeting more than uncomfortable.
"So how many were lost?" Alpha Tomas asked.
"We lost thirty including my Beta Greg." Alaric told him solemnly.
"A nearly complete failure, this is not acceptable losses." Alpha Laurence stated. The aged man was close to sixty and was the actual leader of the alliance.
"We were taken by surprise."
"Ah yes, these mystery people in body armour and full automatic weapons." Tomas huffed.
"We didn't have any Intel prior to the incursion that the Feral or Valtors possessed such arms."
"So who are they, Mitch you said in your report that you saw a woman and five of these men. Were they wolves or kinfolk?" Alpha Tomas asked Alaric's new Beta.
"They smelt of wolf, but none of them shifted so I think they were just kinfolk marked by the pack. The woman though.... she smelled like a she-wolf. I'm positive she was the only one of them that was a Lycan." Mitch explained.
"Very well, we will be discussing the events from this botched mission. It has given us useful information about what we will be up against in the next attack." Laurence stated.
"Yes, we plan to attack the Valtors home territory once Frank is out of the way."
"But the shamans?" Alaric murmured weakly.
"Your order to assassinate Frank Valtor will still stand. We need to take out their leader before any more of the smaller packs join. Their numbers are growing too quickly for our liking and this will cause a rift. The vacancy will take time to fill and should cause some tensions within their group. It will make the attack for us much easier." Laurence explained
"What do you wish me to do in the mean time?" Alaric asked.
"Well without Greg and his moles in the pack we are limited to any Intel. You need to get to someone on the inside. Do whatever you have to, we will make the funds available in your account and your target is this she-wolf and her soldiers. Learn everything you can about them, we need to find out who they are. Do not under any circumstances kill the she-wolf. Capture her if at all possible, she's too valuable to let die." Tomas said and with that the meeting ended.
The drive back to his home was slow and rather painful. His force had not heard his weak call to retreat and stayed to battle the other pack. Alaric had not exactly lost face for abandoning his men. He did lose status though for the horrific losses to their side. The alliance was giving him another chance to show them he was capable to help lead the group along with the other ten Alpha's who governed the Alliance. Now he needed a mole, and that would be no small feat.
Things were getting complicated, his child had led the attack against his forces. Somehow she had been changed into a shifting female. No doubt by Victor and those evil Valtors. From the reports he kept hidden from the rest of the Alliance, he’d learned that Mica had fearlessly and furiously defended the Ferals. She killed a few of her own familial pack in the process. Alaric was both proud and outraged at the same time.
He needed to get her away from them, her and his grandchild. But now he wasn't sure if she’d kill him herself. If his only child wasn't able to be saved from the Feral' influence, he knew deep down in his heart that the baby was young enough that it could be brought up within the Dickson pack never knowing its true heritage. Yes if he couldn't save Mica from the Ferals, he could at least save the baby.

They came in via the back door. All four of them wore the spray to nullify their scent. Collin had designed the spray years ago for military purposes and smiled now as he walked silently through the house. No wolf or anything else could catch their scent and his brother would be caught unaware of his home being invaded.
This was the house he had grown up in and he marveled at how much it hadn't changed. The decor virtually the same as the day he’d left so many years ago. His parent's bedroom was to the left of the short hallway, his old room was to the right. A brief longing to see it one last time filled him and he turned towards it to look inside. It too was mostly the same. The blue walls and bunk beds which he’d shared with Victor still remained. As did his baseball glove that sat on his shelf along with his many trophies from the various sports he’d played in. Every one of them was a reminder of his attempt to earn his father's respect. It had been in vain. Victor and Mike had been their fathers pride and joy. Collin was the stain on the family.
He turned from his childhood room and walked softly towards his parent’s old bedroom, peeking inside he saw the small night light beside the crib. The soft sounds of someone sleeping from the bed were just audible. Collin looked to the queen size bed and was a bit surprised to find a sea of long black hair resting on the pillow. No one else was here other then the young woman and the baby.
He stepped right up beside the bed and scrutinized the girl. Pale skin, pretty face and looked long and lean. The girl wore only a long shirt and a pair of panties as she lay on top of the covers. The thought to indulge himself fluttered across his mind as he watched her sleep for a few moments. But he knew better, this one could kill him as sure as any bullet could.
Her eyes fluttered open and the shock caused her starling brown eyes to look even larger.
"Hello sweetheart, now aren't you a pretty little thing.” He whispered as he raised his gun to her chest.
The soft sound of the dart hitting her in the chest was the only sound in the entire house. The girl didn’t get a chance to scream as the drug worked so fast and was out in seconds. The tranquillizer would only last an hour so he’d little time to prepare for this small inconvenience. He knew who the girl was and now as he eyed her over he knew he’d have to kill her too. Having the Valtor shaman's daughter as a witness would get him killed.
"Tie her up and put a gag in her mouth.” He ordered one of his men. Then he stepped over to the crib. Lea lay there sleeping soundly.
"Time to come home with Uncle Collin my little darling.” He whispered as he lifted her gently from her bed.
"So my dear, where is your lovely mommy at?” He asked the baby as he walked to the bed and sat down with her beside the unconscious girl.
Collin knew Mica would not leave her child for long and now all he had to do was wait. Although Lea held the key to his transformation as well and if he wanted he could simply kill the girl in the bed and walk out the door and attain the results he needed. However, he wanted more than that, he wanted revenge, to see everything he was denied destroyed and to take Victor’s mate from him. He wanted Victor to know he was helpless to save his mate and child just before he killed him.
Lea gurgled at him as he held her in his arms it made him smile. She should be his child, he thought. There had to be a way to fix his infertility problem and he’d several of his top team members working on it. He wanted Mica to bear his young, he needed an heir and somehow she would give him one of his own.

Every inch of her body ached in a way that felt good. The muscles in her four legs burned as did her lungs. The soft padding on her paws was wet and hot from the two mile run and she was relishing the exhilarating feeling it gave her. Racing through the dense underbrush of the pristine forest, she felt more alive than she ever had before. The smells that assailed her nostrils filled her with information that only an animal's mind could put into images. No wonder the males preferred to hunt as their beast natures, she thought.
Victor's scent was close and as she crested the small knoll towards the lake she heard him howl behind her. The urge to return his call was so overpowering that she came to an abrupt stop and raised her head into the cool evening air. Her breath escaped her muzzle as she tilted her head far back and howled to answer his call. He was hunting her. It was a mating game and she loved the rush of excitement that pumped throughout her at knowing what would happen when he finally caugh
t her.
When they had made love in the cabin Victor had scared her. His forcefulness had brought back the feelings of helplessness she’d felt in his brother's grasp. She needed to tell him; somehow she had to find the words. But tonight was a night to mate. Her wolf would not be denied it any longer and the need had totally consumed her in Victor's arms. Tomorrow she’d tell him everything. Mica needed him to know the truth and she knew that information would hurt him as much as it would her having to tell him.
She forced those thoughts clear of her mind and scented the ground. The deep moist earthy smell filled her with so much knowledge. A rabbit had scurried by here with a fox hot on its trail. A need to hunt both the rabbit and fox filtered into her, but soon dissipated as another lonesome howl echoed in the night air. It was closer this time and she bolted off not wanting to get caught just yet.
Mica bounded over the knoll towards the lake and felt the winds shift. Her scent would be driven back towards her pursuer and the thought excited her. Making directly to the water's edge as she needed to drink, she believed she’d time to stop for but a moment. As she lapped up the cold fresh water of the lake, she heard a noise behind her. Mica wheeled around and saw him. The large male's black fur hackled up on his neck and he growled low. Instinct told her to be submissive, but her human half refused and she growled back.
The look of surprise showed on her mates face at her defiance and he moved in closer. With a lunge he went for her throat and she dodged out of the way and turned on him, biting him gently on his hind flank. Mica liked this, teasing him with her cocky attitude and as he tried to tackle her, she nipped his paw and barely managed to avoid being knocked down. The grumbled growl deepened in her mate and her wolf side fought for control to be allowed to be submissive to him. Again she forced it down and she bit the tip of his tail as she wheeled around him and he yelped.
