by Dr. D

Acheron breathed heavily and leaned in again; his black eyes were so dark, it looked like it could swallow any light that came near it.

Dezi clicked his tongue with annoyance and pressed Acheron down to face his crotch. “If you like sucking that much why don’t suck on something better.”

Acheron didn’t resist at all and let Dezi push his face onto his crotch.

Dezi cringed with distaste at the actual contact, but the prince’s submission pumped arousal back into his system. He bit his lips and pulled out his limp dick. “Lick it.”

Acheron eyed Dezi and readily licked it.

The prince had no skill to speak of. The simulation wasn’t enough to give Dezi an erection, but it couldn’t be helped that the prince’s refined features just screamed royal bloodline. When a face like that glistened with his own saliva, holding his dick up with his cheek and squinting his eyes with infatuation, it made Dezi’s bone itch with a dark desire.

He jerked on his dick himself to get it hard just so he could shove it down Acheron’s throat. “Don’t you dare let your teeth touch it.”

The prince took Dezi’s dick to the hilt. His throat gagged in reflex, but the prince didn’t even frown.

The tight passage made ecstasy crawl up Dezi’s spine. Dezi let out a sigh and started to thrust. “Who is the dog now?”

He looked down at the prince. That gorgeous face was buried in his pubic hairs, blushing red from the lack of oxygen. Those black eyes were wetted by reflex tears and looking softly at him.

The pleasure yanked him in and devoured him. Melting warmth and bright lights swarmed through his senses as Dezi groaned and reached his climax.

A satisfying fatigue slowly washed over him, and Dezi fell down on the floor with uneven breath.

The prince already gulped everything down when he looked up. Dezi felt a heat wave on his face and averted his gaze from the Acheron’s dark eyes. As his eyes skipped through the obvious bulge in the prince’s crotch, he noticed that a red mark on Acheron’s pants that looked like a blood stain

“What is this?” Dezi asked casually. He didn’t think that Acheron was hurt.

The prince crept toward him on his knees and the red stain spread around his knees.

Dezi frowned, rolled the prince’s pants up from the ankle and saw that there was already bandage under there, but the blood was still oozing through the white cloth.

  He was recently wounded.

Dezi sucked in a breath and stared wide-eyed at the prince.

Normally, someone would try to avoid his injury or at least react to it, but the prince acted like he didn’t even feel it.

“Where did you go?” Dezi’s voice came out more gentle than he had planned.

Acheron didn’t answer and only took the chance to nudge closer and tighten his arms around Dezi. The prince’s cheeks were still red, and his breath was heated. His wet lashes almost brushed Dezi’s face, and his eyes were locked on Dezi’s lips.

Dezi could feel Acheron’s hard and scorching erection pressing on the side of his thigh. He shifted uncomfortably, but then felt the cold stone in his pocket, preventing him from getting up.

  Chapter 12

Riding the lavabreaker never got old for Dezi, even after he had spent two days sitting in it for the hunting trip and would still spend days more. Flying with so many other bone crafts and being able to see them from the window was another treat all on its own.

He spent most time admiring the queen’s dragon bone craft.

Unlike the lavabreaker, which had its neck bent back, the dragon bones were kept in their original structure. It looked almost like a living thing with its tail swinging back and forth, balancing its wings’ movements. Both the head and the tail of the dragon would cause damage in air battles. There was a solid helmet on its skull, hiding the slot for another elemental stone for magical attacks.

Last night they had rested in a manor within a small city, but after today’s travel, they would enter deep into the wilderness and would have to camp tonight.

The mountains were ruled by magical beasts. The majority of the beasts were below tier three and were routinely cleaned out by soldiers. This kept the commoners who worked on the farms outside of the city walls reasonably safe from attacks.

But accidents were still common, and occasionally there would be an attack from higher level beasts, in which case the accountable nobles would show up to defend his honor.

On the very rare events that a dragon, which was a tier six beast, began to terrorize a village, the member of the royal family would make an appearance and address the matter.

Because of the various beasts, for commoners like Dezi, camp in the mountains was a painful way of committing suicide, but rules didn’t really apply for the royals when even the dragons posed them no threat.

This hunting trip was even initiated by the queen as a pleasure activity. A dragon had shown its trace in the northern mountain, and the queen wanted to capture it. Hunting and keeping dragons were entertainments only possible for the royal family, but it was also a tool for a kingdom to show off its strength.

“We are here,” Mathew said as the lavabreaker lowered itself on flat ground.

Dezi got out of the bone craft and stretched his arms. It wasn’t long until he felt Acheron’s clingy hands on his waist.

Dezi drew in a breath to hide his annoyance and glanced at Mathew. Seeing the baron calmly looking back at him, Dezi forced out a smile and gently held onto Acheron’s hand instead of pushing it away.

Dezi had spent all day with Acheron in a small, confined space with Mathew’s constant presence; he felt as stifled as a pot trying to hold in all the boiling water. But the prince pulled Dezi closer to his chest and didn’t seem to care that Dezi was at the limit of his patience.

Dezi bit his teeth and muttered to the prince, “You just love this, don’t you?”

Ever since the bone craft left the city, Acheron had been gripping onto him like he was a life buoy. But for once, Acheron didn’t look at him, instead he was scanning his surroundings. Dezi rolled his eyes and looked around, as well.

The sun had started to set, and most of the bone craft had already landed. Many servants were bursting about in the distance, and many large tents had already been set up. There were many horses and carriages around, as well. It seemed that many servants here were borrowed from the nearest city. They traveled here on land well before the queen arrived to set up the site.

It made sense that the queen didn’t bring too many servants herself. It wasn’t worth the elemental stones it was going to cost to fly them over.

Dezi soon saw the queen as nobles gathered around her. She had the infamous bone craft scepter with her. It had an advanced earth stone on the top and gave her the ability to use the earth elements, as well. Her famous attack was shooting out a wall of burning red iron spears toward her enemy.

Dezi wished that he could to see it in action. But he knew that he couldn’t be allowed on the actual hunting trip with his background and ability. He wouldn’t be able to protect himself, let alone contribute.

But Dezi couldn’t stop staring at the yellow stone on the top of the scepter. He swallowed and reached into his pocket to touch the ice dragon stone. Like the snowflake in the ice stone, there was a diamond in the middle of the advanced earth stone that kept reflecting the sunlight.

“Good day to you, my dear cousin.”

Dezi flinched at the voice and took his hand out of his pocket.

  It was Princess Tatiana.

Her greeting didn’t get any response from Acheron, but Tatiana widened her smile and looked at Dezi. “Were you allowed to go to classes, Dezi?”

“Yes, your highness.” Dezi kneeled down. He was nervous as soon as the princess laid her eyes on him.

“Is that so? I have to say that am surprised.” The princess delivered the faked amazement perfectly. “I reckon Acheron would like to keep you close.”

As if to prove that she was right,
Acheron pulled Dezi up and tugged him back into his arms.

Dezi opened his mouth but nothing came out. For a few seconds, Tatiana just stared at Acheron’s behavior and let silence soak through Dezi like ice water.

Just when Dezi started to panic, she spoke again. “Did you know that Baba used to bite anyone who went near him? It was because the poor thing was never allowed to be social with others since it was a puppy. And after a certain age, he just started to fear anything that was unfamiliar to him. He couldn’t help it.”

Dezi forced out a stiff smile, confused about what the princess was talking about.

But Tatiana smiled again, as if she had delivered a message, and changed the subject. “If I recall correctly, you are taking cooking lessons?”

  Dezi froze and nodded.

“Some elemental stones would really aid your studies, wouldn’t they?” Tatiana said casually.

Dezi felt like her gaze had the power to scrutinize each fiber of his soul, and cold sweat immediately came down his back. He wanted to answer calmly, but fear choked up in his throat.

Acheron seemed to have had enough and grabbed onto Dezi’s shoulder. Dezi wobbled as he was pulled away by Acheron and looked at the princess. “Your highness …”

“You are excused, Dezi.” Tatiana chuckled.

Dezi let out a breath and took his escape.

He wanted to ask Acheron where the hell exactly did he get the ice dragon stone, but there were just too many people around.

Before Dezi could be relieved that he was away from the princess, he was too close to the queen and the nobles surrounding her. Dezi sensed a gaze on him from the crowd, and when he looked for its source, he saw the man Mathew called Ronan was grinning at him.

There was a teenager with black curly hair standing next to Ronan. He was looking at Acheron with his chin raised and nose wrinkled. Dezi realized that he must be the queen’s younger son, Prince Andrew.

Dezi knew Andrew had A rating and a fire talent just like the queen. With Princess Tatiana only having a B rating, Prince Andrew was going to be the next king.

Dezi smiled back to Ronan out of courtesy and lowered his gaze again. He heard that Prince Andrew didn’t have the best of tempers, and he had no intention to find out if it was true. The princess was scary enough.

  Luckily, they didn’t approach.

It seemed like that the queen was dividing the nobles into teams based on their talents.

“Mother.” Prince Andrew pointed at Acheron. “He shouldn’t be here.”

“He wouldn’t participate the hunting,” the queen said.

“Then why is he here? He never even cast a spell in front of anyone.” Andrew wouldn’t drop it easily.

Dezi became curious about Acheron’s magic talent when he heard that. He had always just assumed that the prince was incompetent, but it was true that the queen didn’t invite anyone to be here for no reason, besides Acheron and him.

“That is my decision.” The queen didn’t welcome the question.

Andrew glowered at Acheron. “What exactly is your talent, anyway?”

Acheron didn’t look at him, but his grip on Dezi tightened.

“Andrew!” The queen hit the ground with her scepter. “You stay with your sister.”

  “Mother!” Andrew yelled.

The queen didn’t give him another word.

“Don’t be so curious.” Tatiana eyed the queen and comforted Andrew. “At least Mother did tell us that Acheron has B rating.”

Dezi looked at the smile the princess wore and couldn’t help but wonder if it meant that it was a lie.

A strong wind rose in the forest as the team forming continued, and the tall trees above them rustled. Acheron pulled Dezi closer to his chest and dusted off a leaf that fell on his blonde hair like it was poisonous.

Andrew glanced at Dezi and gave him a look of plain disgust.

Dezi cringed. He tried to pull himself out of Acheron’s grip without making too much movement, but wasn’t successful. He bit his lips and glanced at the Acheron, but the idiot was looking at the leaf that fell onto the ground.

“What? You never saw a fucking leaf before?” Dezi chewed each word with the last bit of patience he had and swallowed them back down.

After the teams were decided, Dezi and Acheron were lead to the tent meant for them. It was set up almost exactly like the room in the palace.

“All right. Let go now.” Dezi shoved the prince as soon as they were alone.

Acheron released his arms a little, but gripped him back immediately when Dezi headed toward the open flaps.

“Hey!” Dezi snarled at Acheron in a low voice. “Let go.”

Acheron moved his darting gaze to Dezi; his wide-open black eyes blinked at Dezi’s words, seemingly trying to interpret their meaning.

Dezi rolled his eyes and half-dragged the prince toward the flaps and closed them. The tent instantly got a little darker, and it created a small enclosed space.

“Get off me.” Dezi shoved the prince harder with the newly-gained privacy, and this time Acheron relaxed his clenching fingers enough for Dezi to get away.

Dezi let himself fall onto the bed and stretched out his arms. Acheron followed him diligently and lay down next to him. The bed sunk and brought them closer together in the middle.

Dezi frowned. This bed was the kind that had ropes on the bottom instead of a mattress. It was easier to carry, but didn’t have much support.

Dezi tossed and turned for a bit, but the soft bed always just brought him back to Acheron’s arms.

“Ugh.” Dezi pushed the unwanted hands on his waist back to the prince. He really had enough intimacy already today.

When Acheron tried to touch him again, Dezi hissed and flipped on top of him. “Touch me again,” Dezi growled at the prince's ignorant face and pinched those annoying hands down on the bed, “and you sleep on the floor tonight.”

  “May I come in?”

Started by the voice, Dezi hastily tried to straighten himself back up, but ending up sitting on the prince’s crotch.

Warm yellow sunlight filled his eyes when he turned to look, and it took Dezi a second to realize that the shadow stood outside was Mathew.

“Excuse me,” Mathew said with a monotoned voice. “I will come back later.”

Knowing that he misunderstood, Dezi’s face twitched. “No, no need, my lord.” He hurried off the bed. Almost eager to show him that he still had his pants on.

Mathew stood there for a moment, and eventually came in with other servants to deliver the prince’s dinner.

  Chapter 13

Dezi touched the water with his fingertips and cast the ice spell. A circle of frost spread through the water in the basin.

A grin appeared on his face as Dezi forced more energy through his hand. The water surface soon completely froze over with ice, and some cold fog climbed up through the basin.

Dezi had become more familiar with controlling the magical power with practice. What had been impossible now all seemed rather easy with a dragon stone.

As Dezi continued to play with water, he heard noises outside and put his ice stone into his pocket. “Are they back?”

It was the second day that they camped there, and the hunting parties had been gone since sunrise. “I wonder if they get any dragons.” Dezi ignored the prince, who had been standing by his side watching him, and went to look outside.

When he pulled open the flaps, however, he saw the queen right outside.

“Your majesty.” Dezi drew in a breath and kneeled down to the floor.

“You are excused.” The queen’s voice came down from above him as she walked past Dezi without stopping.

“Yes ...” Dezi left the tent with his eyes to the ground.

He closed the flap behind him, but didn’t leave. He half expected that Acheron would insist on following him out. But as seconds passed, there was still only silence from the other side.

Dezi pursed his lips and turned to walk away
. He could see that the hunting teams had come back, but there wasn’t any sign that something rare had been discovered. “I guess no dragon yet.” Dezi murmured.

Two people walked past Dezi, talking about how the queen had encountered the dragon today, but it slipped away. Dezi stepped forward a bit, thinking maybe he could follow them to eavesdrop a little, but he then paused and turned around to look at the tent. There was a mystery even more appealing within.

Why did the queen keep calling Acheron to meet her, and even brought him here?

Dezi swallowed and approached the tent again. He checked his surroundings, flipped opened the fabric a bit, and peeked.

Between the split of the flaps, Dezi saw Acheron was holding the earth dragon stone that was on the top of the scepter.

But before Dezi could make up what Acheron was doing, he was stung by an icy coldness on his fingers. Cold frost froze over his fingers in a second, but before Dezi could even register the pain, it retreated even faster and vanished without a trace.

Coldness still washed over Dezi as he realized that the ice power was drawn from the ice stone in his own pocket.

Only someone as talented as the queen could utilize an elemental stone with ease even from five feet away.

Dezi shivered and dropped to the ground.

The queen came out shortly. Dezi flinched and lowered himself even more. He could feel her cold gaze on his back, and fear squeezed tightly on his lungs.

Just when Dezi was sure that he would be a dead man, the queen walked past him without a word.

Dezi didn’t dare to move until Acheron pulled him up and brought him back into the tent.

“I ... I have offended the queen.” Dezi rubbed his forehead; it was still covered by cold sweat.

The prince took Dezi’s hand and was looking down at his fingers.

Dezi didn’t pay much attention to Acheron and spent the rest of the day with unease. At night, when Mathew showed up at the tent, Dezi swallowed and worried for a second that Mathew would tell him that the queen ordered him to be beheaded.
