  GARTH WINGFIELD'S other plays include Are We ThereYet?, Sunday Styles, Flight, Touching Howard There, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Ado nis. His work has been performed in New York, Los Angeles, and London. For television, he has written episodes for Showtime'S Queer As Folk and was a staff writer on the ABC sitcom Clueless. He lives in New York City.

Ms. Shengold won the 1998 Writers Guild Award and a GLAAD Award nomination for her tele-play Labor of Love, starring Marcia Gay Harden, and the Shine Award for Unwed Father; other screenplays include Blind Spot, starring Joanne Woodward and Laura Linney, Double Plat

  inum, and an adaptation of Jane Smiley'S novella Good Will. She is artistic director of theatre company Actors& Writers, and has just completed her first novel, Clearcut.

  ERIC LANE is an award-winning playwright and filmmaker. His play Times of War premiered at the Adirondack Theatre Festival and won grants from the Puffin Foundation, Pilgrim Project, and Jonathan Larson Foundation and was an O'Neill Center Finalist. Other plays include Shellac, Cater- Waiter, and Dancing on Checkers'Grave, which starred Jennifer Aniston. Mr. Lane has written and produced two short films: First Breath and Cater- Waiter, which he also directed. For his work on TV'S Ryan's Hope, he received a Writer'S Guild Award. Honors include the Berrilla Kerr Playwriting Award, La Mama Playwright Development Award, numerous Yaddo fellowships, and a St. James Cavalier Center fellowship in Malta. Mr. Lane is an honors graduate of Brown University and is artistic director of Orange Thoughts, a not-for-profit theatre and film company in New York City.
