Loved By The Vampires Page 17

“Fall out of love with me?” Mina frowned. “Are you serious?”

“I’m only telling you what I know,” Reeba shrugged her shoulders. “You can believe it or not, that’s up to you.”

Mina sighed. It sounded as if she was attacking Reeba and that was the last thing she wanted to do. She felt as if an apology was due.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to be rude or anything…” Mina started.

“It’s okay,” Reeba smiled. “I get it. It probably hasn’t been easy being you these past few weeks.”

Mina smiled back. She appreciated the understanding.

“Just, be careful. Something fishy is going on around here,” Reeba seemed worried.

“Don’t worry. I plan on getting to the bottom of it.”

Mina had no time to be worried. Not when there was so much work left to be done.

  Chapter 18

The following day at school, Mina felt a strange kind of anxiety. It was with her when she woke up, as she gazed at herself in the mirror, trying to figure out what was wrong. It was with her during every single class that day. It was with her when she stumbled onto Raphael and had a pleasant chat with him in the hallways, when she even allowed him a peck on the cheek. It was with her when she accidentally slammed her locker door, causing much more noise than she wanted to.

“I guess that’s the only way you can attract attention to yourself,” Mina heard a familiar, unpleasant voice behind her, “by causing unnecessary noise.”

These words were followed by giggles, then the twins appeared before her, cornering her. Mina looked to the left, then to the right. The students in the hallways were dispersing in record speed, heading out after their last class for the day and the twins had strategically waited for their moment to approach her.

“There’s no use looking around, new kid,” Morgan grinned. “There’s no one to help you.”

The two giggled again and, at that moment, Mina knew this was probably what had been causing all that discomfort throughout the day. She had sensed this meeting was coming. In all honesty, Mina wasn’t in the mood for this kind of conflict right now. She had already arranged it with Hendrik to meet later on and head over to the Bunker, in hopes that it would improve her mood, and maybe, just maybe, something might happen. She was also hoping that the guys would be on board with her version of what a relationship should be, but so far, she was sure that Renwick and Raphael shared the same idea.

“So, a little birdie told us that you didn’t listen to our warning from last time,” Madison said, and they both laughed again hysterically, as if they came up with the funniest joke in the world.

Mina frowned. A birdie? Was it a hint or just a coincidence? She wouldn’t put it past them to put a dead bird in front of her door. Plus, if Reeba was right about it being the opposite of a love spell, then it all made sense. The twins found out about Renwick and Raphael somehow, and now, they were using a different strategy to get her to stay away from them.

“Obviously, we need to remind you again,” their voices sounded harsh and unpleasant, as they continued talking. “You see, we can’t figure out if you’re really that stupid or just pretending. My bet is you’re pretending. You can’t possibly be that stupid, can you?”

Madison took a menacing step towards her and Mina moved backwards, realizing that her back was now pinned against the lockers. There was nowhere to go. She was surrounded. Her first instinct was to play dumb, but when she thought about it better, she knew it wouldn’t work. It didn’t work the first time, either, so why would it work now? She ended up doing exactly the opposite and now the twins were pissed. Maybe it was time she put them in their place.

“I know what you said,” Mina shot back. “I didn’t approach either of them.”

She tried to remain vague about her answers and comments, for as long as she could.

“Liar!” Morgan shrieked and started to jump at her, with her hands aiming at Mina’s throat, but her sister pulled her back, like a wild animal on a leash, waiting to be allowed to attack someone.

“I’m not lying,” Mina answered, calmly, glad that she had gotten a rise out of Morgan.

People who acted rashly, on impulse, were usually easy to take down, without too much effort. Mina knew that much from experience. Still, she needed to be on her guard.

“Renwick and Raphael would never want to have anything to do with you,” Morgan hissed like a wounded snake.

“The point is that you didn’t listen to us, even though we were very clear about what needed to be done,” Madison spoke more calmly and it was her that Mina was more afraid of.

“I didn’t do anything to you,” Mina tried to explain.

“Oh, but you’re wrong, so very wrong,” Madison kept on talking even more calmly. “And it seems mere words won’t cut it with you.”

“What do you mean?” Mina asked, swallowing heavily.

“We’ll have to teach you a lesson you’ll never forget,” Madison shook her head, as if the very thought of doing that fell heavy upon her heart.

Mina knew no such thing was true. Whatever they had in mind, it would be painful and they’d both enjoy it.

“You obviously can’t leave either Raphael or Renwick alone, you whore,” Morgan growled again, baring her canine teeth.

Mina resented being called a whore but she knew that backtalk would only escalate things. It was already bad enough. Looking at their frames, she was sure she could take them on. She’d taken on worse than the two of them together but that wasn’t the point. This might go upstairs and she might get in trouble. She needed to behave for a few more days. The Headmaster would return any day now. She could sense it. She had to swallow just a few more insults until that meeting and then, all hell would break loose.

“Listen, I’ll keep away, just…” Mina tried to keep her head down, even though it took her much more effort than she initially thought.

“We already tried that and it didn’t work,” Madison shook her head menacingly again.

Mina had no idea what they were about to do to her but she knew she was in danger. She could sense it in the way they circled around her, like vultures, their teeth out in the open, like daggers aimed at the soft, palpitating veins in her neck.

“You obviously need something more painful to remind you of what is asked of you,” Madison eyed her.

Mina’s mind raced. There was no one in the hallways any longer. They were alone. She knew that, even if she shouted for help, it was uncertain if anybody would hear her. She could take them out but she was sure retribution would follow and she’d be stuck in a vicious cycle fighting these two, instead of being focused on what she came here to do.

Madison’s hand traveled up to Mina’s neck, her claw like nails already on Mina’s skin. Mina had only a second to react. She could allow Madison to hurt her, or she could fight back, as she usually did. She took a slow, deep breath. There was only one thing to do, only one thing that was natural to her.

  “Hey!”

All three of them turned to see who called out. Madison’s hand immediately fell down, releasing the grip she had on Mina’s neck. Mina took a step to the side, so that now, she was out of Madison’s reach.

  “What’s going on here!?”

The voice belonged to Hendrik. Mina felt like jumping into his arms, not because he was there to save her, but because he was there to save the twins. Mina wouldn’t have to hurt them now. Her identity was still kept safe and her mission could continue. For that, she would be forever grateful, no matter the outcome of her ordeal.

“Move along, Picasso,” Madison hissed at him, “unless you want to have your ear cut off and become Monet.”

“You mean, Van Gogh, you retard,” Hendrik snorted, then looked at Mina. “Two to one, isn’t that a bit unfair?”

“We didn’t do anything to her, we’re just talking...“ Morgan quickly added.

“I didn’t mean you,” Hendrik replied, with
a sly smile, looking at Mina. “I meant her. She’d take both of you on, easy.”

Madison and Morgan eyed each other with obvious confusion on their faces. Mina swallowed heavily. She couldn’t tell if Hendrik was bluffing, or if he knew something about her. Cleverly, she waited for the twins to make the first move and then act herself.

“Come on, Morgan,” Madison suddenly blurted out, as if she remembered something. “We have more important business to take care of but this isn’t over.”

Before Mina could say anything to that, the twins demonstratively turned around and angrily walked down the hallway and out of the building. Mina pressed her hand against her neck. She could feel the beating of her own heart. She knew that the twins probably didn’t believe a word Hendrik said but they didn’t want witnesses to whatever they were about to do with her. One thing was sure, this really wasn’t over yet.

  “Are you okay?” Hendrik asked.

He sounded worried. That led Mina to the conclusion that he was just bluffing. He had no idea whether or not she could take them on. Luckily, Mina didn’t need to prove that she could.

“Yeah, just…” Mina started, then sighed heavily. “They just won’t let me be.”

“You’re not the only one they pick on but I know that doesn’t make it better,” he tried.

“It’s okay,” she smiled, “I appreciate the help. We still heading to the Bunker?”

“Yeah, just…” he sounded a little nervous.

“What is it?” she wondered. She’d never seen him like this.

  “Nothing, I guess…”

“Oh, come on,” she punched him on the shoulder, playfully. “There’s obviously something you want to tell me. Come on. Spill it.”

“I don’t know if there’s time, everyone’s waiting for us at the Bunker,” he continued, avoiding her eyes.

  “Who’s everyone?”

“The guys… and girls… you know, everyone…” he answered, but each time, he sounded more and more confused.

“Hendrik,” she approached him, so close that she was almost standing on his toes.

She also needed to stand on hers, if she wanted to be on his eye level. She rested her hands on his shoulders. He was sturdy and strong, she knew she’d be able to rely on him, no matter what.

“What is it?” she whispered her question softly, urging him to open up to her, without fear.

“I guess I just wanted to do something, before we got there,” he smiled nervously.

  “What?” she smiled back warmly.

Instead of a reply, he moved in, and pressed his lips on hers. The moment he did that, she felt a dam deep inside of her break and that primal desire which had been there all along, was released once more, just like before with Thorne, and then Raphael and Renwick. She didn’t close her eyes for a second. She didn’t want to. He seemed to feel the same way, because he looked at her with a power to see right through to her very soul. She could almost feel her body melting in his arms, as he pulled her closer and tighter. There was nothing like it.

A second later and he let go. She just stood there, like a statue, frozen with confusion and excitement, waiting for him to explain himself.

“Sorry, I….” he started, but her smile assured him there was nothing to be sorry about.

“It’s okay,” she whispered, “I’ve been hoping you’d kiss me from the first time I saw you.”

Then, a naughty idea crossed her mind. She grabbed him by the hand, then looked around. Everyone was gone. The hallways were unusually but, pleasantly, empty. She bit her lower lip as she smiled at him. She didn’t care how crazy her idea was. She’d do it.

The janitor’s closet was just around the corner. Mina knew it was always unlocked and besides, it opened towards the inside, so they could just lean against the door and no one would be able to barge in and interrupt them.

“Come on!” she pulled him, as she rushed to the janitor’s closet.

“Where are we going?” he wondered, grinning cheerfully.

“It’s a surprise,” she turned around to wink at him.

When they reached the janitor’s closet, she pushed it open and a bucket turned over, with a loud bang.

“Crap!” Mina laughed. “Do you think anyone heard?”

“There’s no one here,” Hendrik assured her.

“Great, that’s what I wanted to hear,” she giggled, as she pushed him inside, then closed the door behind them.

She had no idea how this was going to go. In her mind, it had all seemed so effortless. All she needed to do was let go. They were both trying to find a good spot, moving a broom here, the bucket there, when he pushed her against the wall, hard, his hands on her shoulders.

His kiss attacked her with a vicious passion, as his hand lifted her leg. He pressed against her so hard that she could feel his bulge immediately. She didn’t want any foreplay. She wanted him now.

His tongue searched for hers, as his teeth kept biting on her lower lip. She moaned loudly, arching her back, her head flying upward. He showered her neck with kisses, licking her earlobe, as his hands explored her entire body. Her blouse flew upward, revealing a white lace bra. He pulled the cups down, revealing her nipples. He pressed his hot palms against them, cupping them, squeezing them.

Mina felt like she was melting in his arms. The heat between her legs was unbearable. She felt herself getting wetter by the minute. Her hands raked through his hair, as his head got buried between her breasts. She felt his tongue all over her skin, lapping, leaving wet trails. His hands traveled down to her skirt, pulling it up. The motion made her moan with pleasure.

He pulled down her tights forcefully, then her panties, too. One long, passionate kiss was then followed by him turning her around and pressing her hot, blazing cheeks against the wall. Mina bit her lip, closing her eyes. Her hands pressed against the cool wall, open palmed. She was waiting. She was ready.

The tip of his bulging cock pressed against her pussy lips, spreading them. Her wetness was now on him and he moaned into her ear.

“Fuck….” she heard him say, and the sound sent her overboard.

He entered her wildly, forcefully, expelling all the air from her lungs.

“You feel so good…” he whispered again, biting on her earlobe.

He thrust into her rhythmically, as she welcomed him in. She wanted all of him and more, much more. She could hear him moaning, growling, his hands on her breasts, running his fingers up and down her ribcage. Her body was speaking a language of its own, begging for his fingers, for his kisses, for his cock deep inside of her.

Overcome by animal lust and excitement, there was no common sense in either of them. He settled deep inside her warmth, as she adjusted to fully accommodate his cock, filling her up to the brim. The delight they both felt was beyond description. As her pussy clenched against his dick, he kept pounding into her, bringing them both closer to the brink, faster than either of them thought possible.

His fist groped at her hair and her head flung backward, exposing her neck. He was a vampire, he wanted her blood, he was dangerous. None of that mattered. His name was imprinted in her heart, now and forever, alongside the other three. Nothing else mattered.

Fucking her brains out, she wanted this moment to last forever. Adrenaline kept surging through her body like electricity, powerful and dangerous.

“Come for me, Mina…” he growled into her ear, and those words resounded in the small room, like thunder somewhere far away.

So rough, so animalistic, so beyond human, she finally let go. Her body tightened, convulsed, her thighs shook uncontrollably, as breathless tremors escaped her lips. Her orgasm caused his and he too let go, balls deep in her. They both went completely mad for one blissful second, as he filled her up, gritting his teeth.

Breathing heavily, as if they’d just emerged out of the depths of the ocean, he rested his head against her shoulder. His palm was pressed against her heart, feeling it rac
e. Still inside of her, neither of them felt any desire to move. Instead, they just stood there, for what seemed like an eternity, waiting for the moment when their breath would normalize.

A few seconds later, he moved away, planting a soft kiss on her neck, which made her giggle.

  “You’re tickling me…” she smiled.

“I love the way you laugh,” he told her, as he pulled up his pants and zipped them up.

  “You’re sweet,” she blushed.
