Perfect Kisses Page 11

by Maine, Miley

Sometimes I would play a piece that was already written, something one of my instructors was having me practice or maybe something from my sheet music books. And other times I would play whatever came to mind, composing my own short pieces to explain the way that I was feeling.

This was what I let myself do now, allowing the notes to guide my hands instead of the other way around. To me, this felt like the purest form of playing. I was listening to what the instrument wanted, to what the Earth wanted and what my body needed to hear. It allowed for music I would never have been able to imagine if I had stopped to make myself think about it.

I played like this for a while, losing track of time as I lost myself in it, until I was brought out of it by a short knock on my door.

I turned my head to see that Grayson was waiting there, a sheepish smile on his face. “That was beautiful,” he said.

“Thank you.” I considered telling him to leave. I didn’t know if I was in the place to talk to him just yet, but it was clear from the way he was looking at me that he had something he needed to say.

“Can I sit down?” he asked, gesturing to my bed.

I nodded, watching him from where I sat at my harp.

Grayson let out a deep sigh. “Listen, Serenity, I’m sorry. I know timing was not on my side, and there were definitely better ways to say what I said. The point is, I do want to be with you, I really do. You make me feel things that I haven’t felt before, and I don’t want to lose that. I don’t want to make you cry ever again.”

“But before we left, Sebastian warned me that he didn’t want me taking advantage of you and that’s how he’s going to see things. I want some time to figure out how to bring things up with him, because I also don’t want to lose our friendship. Both of you are very important to me, and I want to make sure he properly understands that I didn’t take advantage of you and that I really do care about you.”

He looked at me with such kind eyes that I knew he had to be telling the truth. He wouldn’t lie to me and look at me like that, it wasn’t possible.

“So please, let me do this the right way.”

“What do you mean ‘the right way’?” I asked.

“Let me talk to him about things before he stumbles upon something he’s not going to understand. I want to be with you, but I don’t want to cause any undue rifts.”

I took a deep breath. The things he was saying made sense, and I wanted to believe him. In fact, I realized that there was no reason for me not to believe him, not to trust him to do things ‘the right way’, as he put it.

  “Okay,” I said finally.

  “Okay?”

“Okay, we’ll do things your way. Just let me know when you’re done talking to Sebastian about it.”

“Of course I will. Now come here.” He gestured, and I went over to him, curling into his side. “Do you want to sleep in my bed tonight?” he asked.

“Yes, please,” I responded with a low purr in my voice. “Especially since once Sebastian comes, I won’t be able to.”

“Then shall we have a last hurrah before he gets here?”

I pulled away for a moment. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, my dear, shall we have some good old-fashioned sex?”

I giggled, letting him take my hand and press a kiss to my knuckles. “How could I ever say no to that?”

He shrugged. “Who knows, perhaps you’re just not up for it?”

“Of course not, you silly fool. I want you. I’m going to want you even more once he’s here. It’s going to be hard to hold back.”

“Then I guess that’s all the more reason to go all out now, huh?”

I pulled him down onto my bed and kissed the tip of his nose, then his lips, drawing him towards me and weaving my hands through his hair. “Please, I want to be with you.”

“Then you shall have your wish.”

He flipped me onto my back, pinning me down with his arms on either side of my body. The way that he kissed me was hungry, begging for more, promising that this night would be so full for both of us.

He tangled his legs with mine as he kissed a path down my neck, stopping to admire one of the marks that he’d left. One of his hands came up, tracing the skin that had gone all red and blue, then wrapping his fingers gently around my throat.

I was not frightened or turned off by the gesture. For me, the gentle pressure was just enough to send my senses reeling out of control. The way it said that he owned me and that he could do whatever he wanted with me, made me unbearably wet.

“That good, baby? You like that?” he leaned down to whisper in my ear.

  I nodded. “Yes.”

“Tell me what you like, my dear.”

“I like your hand at my throat.”

“Good.” He squeezed slightly harder for one second, then released. Still keeping his hand on my throat, he kissed me viciously. “You’re so good, baby, I could just eat you out all day,” he said with a moan. “So good.”

“I’d let you.” I leaned up a bit to kiss him back just as ferociously, nipping at his bottom lip in a way that elicited a growl from deep within his throat.

  “Oh, would you now?”

  “Yes.”

“Then that’s exactly what I’ll do.” He released my throat and moved down the bed so that he was closer to where my legs spread apart. With gentle hands, he spread them further, then leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to the inside of my thigh. Then he carefully relieved me of my skirt, and then my panties, exposing the sensitive skin of my pussy to the cold air of the room.

“You’re so soft, so beautiful,” he said.

I smiled down at him. “Yeah?”

“Yeah.” He continued to kiss me, sometimes licking and nipping the sensitive skin on the inside of my thigh in a way that made me squirm and caused heat and pressure to build within me rapidly. I wanted him inside of me so badly.

I groaned as he got closer to my throbbing pussy, teasing me with every movement of his mouth. I arched my hips up, trying pointlessly to get him inside of me, wanting him to touch my clit, to ease the sense of want that I was feeling.

“Easy there,” he said with a laugh. “All in good time, darling.”

“I want you now,” I groaned.

  “You’re having me.”

“I’m not having enough of you. I want all of you, inside of me, making me feel the way only you can.”

“Is that so?” He ran a hand up the inside of my leg, making me shiver at the touch.

  “Yes.”

“So you haven’t felt this way with anyone else before?” He nipped at a bit of particularly sensitive skin, making me cry out, and then looked up at me with a wild look in his eyes.

“No,” I assured him. “You’re the only person who’s made me feel this way.”

“You must have had some terrible partners before then.” He licked and kissed at the spot that he just bit, causing me to squirm. His hand came up to my hips, holding me down firmly so I couldn’t move around so much.

“Or maybe I just feel especially strong about you.”

“That could also be the case, I suppose.”

Finally, he moved his ministrations, all of his careful attentions, up to my throbbing clit. He licked it, teasing it with his tongue in a way that caused the pressure to build up even more. Noises came out of me that I didn’t quite recognize as he thrust his tongue into me, taking over the attention to my clit with one firm thumb.

It only took a few more minutes for the feelings to overcome me, so strong was my attraction to him. But he didn’t stop then, didn’t give me a moment of respite. He kept going, pushing me into a second consecutive orgasm.

“Grayson!” I cried out. “Oh, don’t stop.”

He didn’t, and I didn’t have to look at him to know that he had a self-satisfied expression on his face.

As he pushed me over the brink for a third time, he sat back, watching the waves of pleasure wash through me, leaving me smiling and malleable
. “How was that?” he asked.

I sat up drunkenly and wove my arms around his neck. “The best. More than I ever could have asked for.”

“Is that so?” He cocked one eyebrow, and then kissed me. I could taste myself on his lips, my desire, my pleasure, and the need for him once again rose from deep within me.

  “Yes.”

“You should learn to expect more, demand more then.”

I didn’t like the implication of those words. To me, they said that he didn’t think that he would be with me forever, that I would have other partners, and that I would have to ask them to fulfill the role he’d left vacant.

He must have noticed my frown, for he tilted his head to the side. “What’s wrong?”

  “Nothing.”

“Don’t say that. It’s obvious from the look on your face that something is wrong. Tell me what it is.”

I sighed. I couldn’t say no to him, however hard I might try. There was just something about him that couldn’t be refused. “It sounds like you’re planning on leaving me.”

His brows came together and he pulled me closer to his chest. “What would make you say that?”

“The way you’re saying things. That I ‘should learn to expect more.’ It sounds like you’re preparing me for when you leave, so that I can ask for what I want from another partner.”

A flash of jealousy went through his expression, and I could tell then that I had been mistaken. “No, of course not. If everything goes as planned, then I shouldn’t have to leave you.”

  “Really?”

“Really.” He pressed a firm kiss to my forehead. “I promise.”

I sighed, letting myself melt in his arms. “Good, because I don’t ever want you to leave.”

“I’ll try my best not to.”

He gave me a small squeeze, then sat back. He got up and I watched him curiously as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small foil packet. I had seen it enough times by now to recognize it as the condom that he always seemed to keep handy. I would have to remember to see what I could do later about getting myself some birth control so that we wouldn’t have to use those anymore.

Then he slowly unbuttoned his shirt, taking it off, and tossing it to the side. His pants came next, then his briefs.

He was so beautiful naked. It wasn’t something that I had thought of any other guy before, but he truly was. He had toned abs that glistened in the light spilling through the windows, and the lines of his legs were powerful. His cock was large and imposing, especially when it was hard like it was now. Just seeing him unclothed like this was enough to make shivers go all through my body and cause my internal heat to begin its build-up yet again.

He ripped open the foil package and slid the condom over his cock, then towered above me at the foot of my bed, looking down at me with a sly sort of smile.

“Let’s see, how shall I prove to you that I don’t plan on leaving you?” he asked, a mischievous tone to his voice. He leaned down, tracing one finger along the line of my cheek. “Shall I make you scream my name so that even you can hear you are clearly mine? Will that be enough for you, my dear?”

I let out a small moan. When he spoke to me like this, it seemed like all my words and my ability to speak just disappeared.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” He got onto the bed, positioning himself over me so that the tip of his cock was pressing against the entrance to my pussy. Then he leaned down to kiss me and thrust into me at the same time, causing me to cry out in pleasure.

Over and over he thrust himself into me, causing the feelings to slowly build up towards my fourth orgasm of the night.

“You’re mine, you hear me, baby?” he said, breaking contact with my lips for just a moment.

  Unable to speak, I nodded.

“I want you to scream my name as you come. Do it for me, baby, do it!”

As the pressure became more and more intense, I couldn’t hold myself back anymore. I screamed his name, feeling the waves of my orgasm wash over me. Grayson slowed down, cumming himself, then withdrew himself and flopped down onto the bed next to me. He pulled me close to his body, my back pressed against his chest, and leaned over to whisper in my ear. “I want to just hold you for a bit. Is that okay?”

I nodded. In my mind, nothing could be better. I loved having him hold me. I loved being close to him like this. There was nothing more comforting than having his arms around me and feeling his heartbeat against my back.

“Good.” He buried his face in my hair. “I’m sorry that I didn’t get things worked out before, or think them through better. You deserve better than that.”

“It’s okay. As long as you fix it now.”

“I promise I will; you don’t have to worry about that anymore.”

“Okay.” I snuggled deeper into his arms, feeling my consciousness drift away to peaceful daydreams. In my mind, I was thinking about all the possibilities for our future together and what I wanted from a relationship with him.

And then, the peacefulness was interrupted. Suddenly my mind was caught on something. When was the last time I had my period?

I knew that I should have had it maybe a month ago. I tended not to track my cycles as they tended to be irregular and unpredictable, but this was strange even for me. Could it be?

No. I pushed it out of my mind. I wouldn’t think of that for now, not when everything was just starting to fall into place. It would only bring up more questions, cause more confusion. If it was something...then it was something I could deal with at a later point.

For now, I just wanted to enjoy Grayson’s company and enjoy being in his arms while it lasted. Once Sebastian came, we would have to pretend for at least a few days that things were normal between us.

The very thought broke my heart.

Grayson stroked back a strand of my hair. “Is everything alright?” he asked. “You seem tense.”

“It’s fine,” I said. “I just don’t want this moment to end.”

“I know.” He squeezed me tighter. “I promise we’ll make it last for as long as possible.”

Serenity and I both went to pick up Sebastian from the airport when he arrived on Tuesday night. Serenity waited anxiously next to me as we waited for Sebastian by the baggage carousel.

“Do you think he’ll be here soon?” she asked, looking around with wide eyes.

“Calm down,” I said, ruffling her hair. “Man, you’re excited to see your brother, huh?”

“Can you blame me? He’s the only brother I’ve got.”

Having grown up as an only child, I knew that I couldn’t really understand what she meant. Sebastian was the closest thing I had to a brother, but I knew that the bond between siblings and the bond between friends were two very different things. When someone was your sibling, they watched you grow up and they were usually there every day—often whether you wanted them to be or not.

Although Sebastian and I had grown up together, we had also grown up in very different situations and were unable to spend every day together as we sometimes wished. We didn’t have any sort of blood linking us either, therefore I would classify our relationship as slightly different, no matter how much I loved him.

“There he is!” Serenity shouted, pointing to where a black head was bobbing through the crowd. Then Sebastian emerged, a large smile on his face.

He rushed over to where we were, taking us both into his embrace.

“Man, it feels good to see the two of you,” he said, clapping me on the back. “Now, will you help me pick up my bag?”

“Of course,” I said with a smile, following him over to the carousel and keeping a lookout for his luggage.

Sebastian has travelled with the same suitcase ever since he was twenty. It was dark green, a little banged up, and it had a luggage tag on it that Serenity made for him for Christmas one year. It was one of those pieces that was easy to spot and hard to miss, which made it great for travelling.

After we had collected Sebastian’s luggage, the three of us headed to the parking garage and located my car. “I’m afraid you’ll have to take the backseat, my dear,” I said to Serenity, opening up the car door for her.

“That’s fine,” she said, climbing in nonchalantly. Sebastian got into the front seat and then we were off, driving back home.

“What should we do, since you have the evening off?” Sebastian asked. “I want us all to spend some time together.”

“We could hang out at home,” Serenity suggested. “Maybe watch a movie or something like that? Grayson also has some new books.”

Sebastian turned around in his seat to look back at her. “So, you convinced him to buy some? Good job! But I’d really rather go out and do something.”

“Then you’re going to have to be the one to suggest something,” I said, cutting in. “We’ve been so exhausted from work that we’ve been staying in for the most part. I could see that Serenity was suppressing a giggle at my words in the back seat.

“Hmmmm, then what about this? Why don’t we go shopping?” Sebastian suggested.

Serenity and I exchanged a glance in the rear view mirror. That was definitely going to be interesting, especially since the two of us had already gone. “What are we going shopping for?” I asked.

“I was thinking that I should get my girlfriend a gift,” Sebastian explained. “I have a few things for her already, but I would love your suggestions on something, if you don’t mind.”

“We can do that,” I replied. “Is there any particular place that you want to go?”

“Just a mall would be fine; I’m not sure exactly what I want to get yet.”

  “We can definitely do that.”

First, I drove the three of us back home and showed Sebastian to his room. While he unpacked, Serenity approached me in the kitchen. “Are you sure it’s a good idea to go shopping with him?” she asked.

“Why wouldn’t it be?” I was brewing some fresh coffee for Sebastian and me, since I was already exhausted. Once the pot was full, I poured myself a cup and took a sip.
