Nice and Naughty: The Reverse Harem Diaries #5 Page 9

by Moon, Mia

My guys. That’s how I referred to them. Whenever anyone asked about them, I just said they were my guys and let it go at that.

My sisters knew the truth. Abbie had officially handed the Surprise title over to me. She said there was no way she could compete, ever again.

I sighed as I rested my head against Pax’s arms where he had them crossed over the back of the sofa.

“How’s it look, angel?” he asked, brushing a kiss over my lips.

These perfect men had spent the whole year helping me renovate and rejuvenate the cabin. They’d poured time, energy, muscle, and cash into the project. Their love for the place was only overshadowed by my own.

“It’s almost perfect,” I told him, peeking out from lazy lids at the room full of decorations. Glowing lights were everywhere, and a real fire roared in the fireplace. The ornaments my family had put out for years glittered on the tree. Pax had seen to everything in the decoration department, and it couldn't look any lovelier. Still, something caused me to nibble my lip.

“What’s missing?” Pax asked, leaning back to look around, urgent to fix whatever was amiss.

I reached for his hand, and he came back to me right away. “You. And you, E,” I called out louder, including Ethan in my request.

I swear, Ethan must've been so desperate to get to me, he tossed the pan he was holding aside. A clatter rang out from the kitchen, and then he was right there. He curled himself so tight around me, protective as he whispered to my round belly. “Can’t wait to meet you, sweet girl.” He was so confident it was a girl. He was looking so forward to a daughter. We’d decided to keep it a surprise, but I was sure he was right.

Sweet, hot kisses fell on every exposed inch of my skin. Gentle strokes lighting a fire under the surface, bringing it to a blaze that was hotter and brighter than the one in the fireplace.

“Thank you for letting us be a part of your tradition, angel,” Pax murmured, kissing the sensitive place under my ear.

“You’re not just a part of it,” I sighed out. I squeezed Ethan’s hand where he still rested it on my tummy. “You’re helping me create something new. Something better.”

“Something real,” Ty said, leaning into the touch of my other hand in his hair.

“So real,” I moaned out when Ethan’s hand crept lower. “So good.”

The guys snuggled in around me, Ty tangled around my legs. Ethan dipped that hand ever lower as Pax bundled me against his side.

This cabin had never known more love or life. It was these men. These perfect, handsome, devoted, protective, hotter than hell men. Lighting up the whole world wherever they went.

  My very own family.

  My Christmas wish come true.

  One For All-Excerpt

This is an excerpt from Power Play, a story about one women and four hot hockey players. It’s included in the ONE FOR ALL box set!

Ken slipped through the door and pulled it gently shut behind him. I didn’t meet his gaze, only recognized him by the blue sweats he wore. He sat beside me, looping an arm around me and pulling me close. I heard his heartbeat as he held me against his strong chest. It felt so good, so right, to be in his arms.

“Hey. Hey. It’s okay. We can take it slow. Any way you want.”

  “I’m sorry,” I whispered.

"Don't be," he replied. His voice was low and had an edge I didn't recognize as if the words didn't want to come out. "I always knew this could happen. We all did."

“I wish I was the right one.” I buried my face in his shirt and inhaled his scent. He was a salve to my pain, and I didn’t know how I’d move on. “I tried to make it work in my head, I did.”

The door opened again, and Nathan strode in, leaving the door cracked open behind him.

“We’re having a talk,” Ken said quietly.

Nathan took my arm and I looked up at him, surprised at how gentle his touch. His eyes were edged with darkness, but he didn’t seem angry. It was a look of fierce determination.

“Hey,” he whispered, tugging me me from Nathan. He kissed my forehead then eased me back on the mattress.

  “Too much?” he asked.

“No.” Suddenly things were becoming clearer.

Climbing over me, he growled, “We’ve talked enough.”

I stared at him, lost. If he didn’t want to talk, then what?

He slanted his mouth over mine, stealing my breath and thoughts with a passionate kiss. His tongue wrestled mine, taking me back to the night we’d nearly lost control on my couch.

My hands clawed his back, wanting more.

  I. Wanted. More.

  Of all of them.

He pulled back and stared into my eyes. “Too much?”

  I shook my head.

“When I kiss you, what are you thinking?”

I blinked, trying to wrap my head around the question. “Of you.”

  “You aren’t thinking about Ken?”

Glancing over, it dawned on me that Ken was watching us. His expression was as shocked as mine, but he didn’t look bothered.

  “Ummm… no. Just you.”

“Who kissed you first, of all of us?”

  “Ken.”

Nathan swept his thumb over my bottom lip, making me turn back to him. “When I kiss you, do you compare us?”

  I scoffed. “Of course not.”

"Then what's the problem?" he asked. "We want you. You can balance us. I don't want to hear your excuses as if you're weak or incapable. You're a fighter."

  “I’m not,” I stammered. “I’m—”

“You’re a woman who moved across the country for what she considered a risky job. You work in a field dominated by men, and you do it so well you’re your own boss and you haven’t realized it.” He arched a brow. “You live in the shadiest part of downtown, in a city you barely know. There is nothing that you can’t handle about us, Violet.”

My lips parted to argue but I didn’t get that far. Ken sucked my bottom lip into his mouth and made my knees weak. Releasing it, a wicked grin formed on his lips.

  “What if…?”

“What if what, Violet?” It was Ken’s voice.

“What if I did end up wanting you all at once? I mean, physically. What would happen then?”
