“Girl relax, you swear you be annoyed, but we all know you’re not,” Yani exclaimed.
“Whatever, let me call you back. My kid is calling my name.” I hung up on her.
“Girl, same here duty calls. Talk to you later bf.” She hung up.
   “Momma!” my son yelled out.
“Yes, momma stank what you want?” I asked him.
“Daddy said come on,” he stressed. I rolled my eyes.
“Tell your daddy I said.” I started walking toward him, and Kato was standing there looking like a whole snack.
“Tell me what? I heard you talking, don’t get scared now,” he teased. I put my hand up and rolled my eyes at his foolish ass.
“Come on let’s go, and you better be feeding us after this event too,” I told him.
“I got y’all you know that.” He helped me in the car and then strapped Kato in. One thing I loved Kato for, he was a man that took care of his family by any means necessary. My baby was the epitome of a King, and I treated him as such. We pulled off, and it wasn’t long before we pulled into this beautiful home across town. He pulled in the garage, and I rolled my eyes.
“Don’t just be pulling in folks garage Kato,” I snapped. He ignored me and walked through the front door. He took me from room to room top to bottom before asking did I like it.
“Hell yeah, I like it. I love it, it’s perfect for a family. One day bae,” I told him, and he held my keys out.
   “How about today?” he asked.
“Shut the front door?” I exclaimed.
“This all us baby.” She smirked, and I jumped on top of him kissing him and squealing.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve you. I love you bae,” I told him.
“I love you more Tejha, I’d give you the world if I could. But I wanna spend a lifetime trying,” he told me.
“Oh, you already know you stuck with me forever,” I told him.
   “That’s your word?” he asked.
“Word to mommy son,” I joked.
“How about we make it official then?” he asked me and pulled out a box from his pocket. The tears started rolling nonstop.
“Wassup baby, it’s cold down here, I don’t see how you do it,” he joked.
“But on the real, Tejha would you marry me?” he asked.
“Of course, Kato!” I kissed him. I heard my baby clapping in the background, and as I sat there, I felt like I was experiencing an outer body experience. All I could think was damn, through all of the bullshit, it was worth it. I was truly blessed and eternally grateful. I was finally happy.
