I heard the door open and then shut. Now I really wanted to open my eyes. What seemed like hours was probably only minutes until I heard the door open again and then shut along with footsteps echoing. I heard breathing as it came closer to me.

"You have no idea how beautiful you look right now. Laying on the floor and waiting for me to have my wicked way with you." He sat on the floor next to me and touched my lips with something that smelled sweet. "Baby doll, open your sexy and fuckable mouth for me." I followed his instructions and was met with a delectable chocolate covered strawberry. Vincent eased it in my mouth as I ate it and then I licked my lips to taste it again. His hand left my side but when they came back he touched something from my lips down to my chest. "Sit up a little," I sat up and he lifted my shirt off of me by the hem. As he laid me back down, he touched my lips and then trailed whatever it is he touched my lips with down to my chest. "Mm, stay still." His breath was hot on my face as he licked me from my lips down to my chest in the trail that he left. "Chocolate and you. I never thought that chocolate could get any better until now."

"Oh yeah?" I asked as my body was begging for him to stop teasing me. "Is this all you want to do? Tease me and eat chocolate off of me?" I ask with a pout. I am pretty sure that I am about to explode with the amount anticipation I feel.

"Stay still," his tone was rather soothing and it made me feel adored. "Don't you dare open your eyes," and now the bossy man is back. He is so sexy. Vincent ran his hand from my chin down to my button on my shorts. I bucked against his touch and then he licked inside my thigh. "Mm, quit moving!" I didn't want to listen but I did. He unbuttoned my shorts and then unzipped them. As he slid them off, I lifted my hips to help them slide off.

I felt his hair tickle my inner thighs and his tongue as it trailed up my inner thigh. "Oh! That is torture!" I screamed as his tongue licked my sex through my lace panties. I feel him make an L gesture with his hands between his thumb and index fingers and then placed them at the juncture of my thighs.

My eyes are squeezed so tightly shut but I still felt him trail his hand up to my bunched hands. I hear a click and then something cold snapped around my wrists. I wiggled my hands but they are now combined by metal. My man just handcuffed me. I started to panic until he spoke: "Shush, trust me." Vincent settled my hands and then I felt his breath trail past my torso. With a quick yank, he ripped my panties off and I felt and heard the rip of my panties as they came off of me. I squeaked when his finger dipped through my sex. "I think you should stop wearing those. Baby doll, they take time away from my destination," his breath got hotter as his tongue licked through my folds and found my clit. "You taste so good," Vincent took a finger and pushed into my hole slowly and matched his tongue's magic. Never did he stop as his tongue massaged my clit and drove me insane.

"Mm!" I really don't know if I am able to make a declarative sentence so that will have to work for him. All my mind is doing right now is vibrating with pleasure. Seriously, it feels so good when he pays this thorough of attention on me. It feels like I am the only woman in the world with him.

Vincent changed up his pace and I lost myself all over his finger. As he got up from between my thighs, he kissed my mound and slid up my body carefully. All I felt were his arms as he walked himself up my torso and kissed my cheek.

I started to shake as I felt his dick at the front of my hole. I flung my hands up hoping to get him but they were cuffed. Gah! This is frustrating. "Mm, please. Baby! Stop making me wait!" I begged as I took my hands from above my head and dragged my nails down his back, which is awkward in itself due to my lack of mobility. As he hissed, I circled my legs around his waist. I hissed back at him and bit his ear. "Stop making me wait!"

His teeth sank into my beating pulse located in my neck. "Hey, don't make me tape your mouth shut!" Even with his threat, Vincent pushed himself so hard and fast into me that I screamed at the surprise. He didn't move inside of me for a moment so I could adjust to his length. "Let me know if I hurt you," he whispered into my ear as he began his thrusting. Even in the mix of passion, he still wants to take care of me. This man is wonderful. I feel as if I have died and am now living in a fantasy.

I shoved my body into his core to drag him down to be right on me with my legs. "That feels amazing." The whole weight of his body laid on me and I love it. I feel as if I am wrapped up in him.

Vincent steadied himself while getting onto his knees. To not break the connection, I wrapped my legs around his waist so we can still be stuck together. I writhed on him as I tried to dull this ache. "Baby, I am going to let you go now because I need your hands on me." A few clinks and my hands were free.

Within three of his thrusts, I climaxed with a scream in his ear. His shirt rubbed against my chest, and I used it as leverage to match his thrusts by gripping a handful for each hand.

"Mm, baby! You feel so good," he moaned into my hair as his thrusts got slower and buried deeper into me. "Tighten your legs around my waist," I followed the instructions and he shoved himself all the way in and lifted his head to trail kisses on my neck. Vincent got more breathy as he kissed my neck and I knew he was about to climax.

I shoved my waist into his chest and made it into a ramp for him to slide into me easier. "Do you like that?" Vincent answered me with a grunt and collapsed on top of me. I rubbed my hands up and down his arms as he tried to control his breathing. "You amaze me."

"You blow my mind, Savannah. I love the way you feel," he pushed himself off of me and helped me stand up.

I walked into his core as he buttoned his pants up and pushed my arms around his waist since I am not ready to stop touching him. "Vincent, I love you so much. I just hope you know that." He responded to my embrace by squeezing my core into his.

"Come on, let's go to our room."

  Chapter Six

As Vincent and I snuggled in bed, we discussed how we couldn't stay away from our problems any longer. I needed to go back to work and get my life back in order, and he needed to go back to whatever it is he does do for a "living."

Someone knocked on our door, and Vincent went to go answer it since he was more dressed than I.

"Hey guys, how are you this morning?" Vincent asked as he shut the door and people came walking in. I quickly shoved my arms in my shirt at the edge of the bed and pulled on my sleep shorts that were discarded yesterday night.

"Hey Vans. I brought you your chai," Anne came walking in and handed it to me. I sat up in bed and accepted it. Ronnie sat on the love seat with Vincent while Anne came into the bed and sat next to me with her own beverage. "So, what is it that you are going to do? Have you come up with a plan yet?"

I looked at her and noticed that her brown eyes seemed sad. "What's wrong, kitten?" I asked her as I rubbed her hand.

"I am just so worried about you. In these past few months, so much has happened and I just get scared that you are going to crash. I am so sorry for being so brutally honest. However, I do think that you should come live with me for a while until you heal." She touched my chin that was still cut and let her other hand graze my bruises on my face.

My heart broke a little more while looking at my honorary sister's face. "Anne, that is so sweet of you. I am not saying I want to stay in Chicago forever. I just needed some time to figure out what I should do with everything."

"Rossi, you really want Savannah to live with you guys?" Vincent asked while turning his face to me and locked eyes with mine. His eyes told me that this conversation about living situations isn't over.

"I wouldn't mind it. If she is family to my wife, then she is family to me," Ronnie turned from looking at Vincent to catching my glare now. "Savannah, seeing you hurt like that has haunted me these past couple of days, and if living with me makes you safe until you find out what to do... I will support it."

I took a big drink of my tea and looked away from everyone as I swallowed. "Thank you everyone for caring about me." I took a breath as I decided on how to phrase my true feelings. Vinc
ent's eyes burned through me. "I appreciate your offers, however I feel as if I need to establish roots and make my own home. Plus, I won't be alone. Vincent is moving in with me." I looked at Vincent's watch while I waited for a response.

Crickets. No one said anything for what felt like hours.

Ronnie dropped something on the ground that made a huge noise before he raised his voice. "Moretti, are you serious? What are you going to do with your house?"

Vincent explained his ideas, and Anne helped me pack up my new stuff. My new clothes were able to fit in a big carry on bag that I bought yesterday while shopping. I liked the bag because it is pink with rhinestones all over it.

"So, Vans. I was thinking about you and the bridesmaids should wear cute and loose fitting dresses to fit the beach theme. What color do you think?" Anne placed my folded clothes into another new bag and tried to put my dress from the party in the bag. I pulled it out of her hands and threw it in the tub. "Vans!"

Thinking it were easier to avoid explaining the obvious, I continued with our original conversation. "I think a light blue would look beautiful! What kind of dress are you looking for?"

And just like the best best friend that she is, she understood my avoidance tactic. "I am thinking something off white and flowy!"

"Perfect. When are you guys leaving? Did everyone else leave?" I asked as I walked to the bathroom to get my shower stuff. My shower stuff is now packed in a plastic bag to be set in my pink bag. The other one, its green with sequins, is packed to the max with the clothes that Bethany brought me.

Anne set the two bags on the floor and pressed her hand to her lower back then fell onto the bed. "We are leaving today. Everyone left this morning. They couldn't be away from work for more than a couple of days. When are you leaving?" My eyes were fixated on her hand that is still on her back and when I looked up at her she giggled. "You don't want to know."

I rolled my eyes and decided to not press for information. "Vincent, baby?" I called towards the sitting room that held Vincent and Ronnie. He poked his head through the door and winked at me. Swoon. "When are we leaving?"

"I am thinking today with those two. I got us seats and everything."

He really does think of everything. I noticed that the hotel safe is slightly ajar and now I am curious. "Okay, baby." He smiled at me and I mouthed: "I love you." I don't need to ask him today. We have more than enough things to think about and worry about.

He went back into the room and told Ronnie that he needed to pack but little did he know that all of his stuff is already packed.

  Chapter Seven

"Ms. Cavanough?" The security guard at the airport asked as I handed him my license, passport and ticket. "You will need to come with me," he held his hand out and looped arms with me. As he led me away, Vincent and Ronnie were stopped and led away behind me.

"What is this about?" I asked as he shoved me into an interrogation room. Due to security purposes, Vincent and Ronnie were put in separate rooms and I was left by myself. I hope Anne is okay since I didn't see her be stopped.

"Well, I need to wait for a female to come in here as well," he sat down on the chair across from me. "While we are waiting, my name is Detective Shepherd. My partner is Detective Valcy."

The door opened and in comes a very butch woman. Her hair was blonde, she wore glasses and was probably about fifty pounds over weight. The complete opposite of Shepherd who looked like a prom king.

"Ms. Cavanough, I am sure that you are wondering why you are here. We have slight suspicion that you have been involved in a crime. The airport security guard who checked you in to the airport at the JFK, called us and asked if we seen you."

I took a deep breath but stared at her as she kept talking. I am Pop's lady! I don't get scared.

Oh, shit. "Yes?" I raised an eyebrow and pushed my hair off of my shoulder. Its a nervous habit to play with hair and I am not giving anything away.

"Well," Detective Shepherd started, "we are wondering if Mr. Moretti is the reason why your face is... Well...?"

I gave both of them a disgusted look and turned my head to face the mirror. Everyone knows that it is not truly a mirror but I wanted to make whomever was watching uncomfortable.

"Okay, since you are not going to be forthcoming about that, then maybe you can tell us what you were doing with Millstone on the 18th. Sources say that you left a formal event with him and got into his car." He looked away as I turned to look at him. My eyes were burning because I am not sure what exactly he is getting at. Is he trying to tell me that I killed him? Or at least that it is what he thinks? "As I am well aware that you know he is dead, maybe you can fill me in on what happened." He took a deep breath and his partner sat down next to him on the rolling chairs.

My seat is that cheap plastic chairs that elementary students sit in and comfort isn't something that will . "I think I should first tell you that you are right. I did leave the gala with him and a few of his friends. However, what you don't know is that I didn't leave willingly."

Both of them were writing down what I said and looked back and forth at each other as they were finishing. They both looked at each other and then gave me an encouraging smile and nod.

"Millstone hasn't been very nice to me," I point to my face and both detectives dropped their jaws. "He forced me to leave the gala with him by holding onto my hair and by gun point."

There is no sympathy radiating from either detective and I am beginning to think that they already have some preconceived notions about my being guilty. "And, why would he do this?" The woman detective asked in her gruff voice.

"Because Millstone and my ex-husband are friends. Well, affiliated is more like the term to describe them." As big of a kick as I would get by revealing their organization, it would shine a light on to Vincent and his family.

Detective Shepherd looked up from his notes and caught my glare. "Is your ex-husband," he looks through some papers, "Joel Castile?"

I cringed as he asked me that and nodded. "Joel and I are divorced now, however it has been a long process. Ever since he asked for the divorce, he has been trying to win me back. Since I am involved with someone else, Joel and Millstone were trying to make it clear that they weren't appreciative of this." I was trying to keep it as vague as possible. Obviously I couldn't get into too much detail because that will let them in to the underworld. Surprisingly, I didn't find it that difficult to be this vague.

"What have they done to you for you to know they weren't supportive of your new romance?" Valcy asked with doubt laced in her tone.

I am already guilty to these people. They might as well put a noose around d my neck and kick a chair out from under me. Nothing I can say or will say will make me innocent to them and I felt as if this room is filled with quick sand and the more I try to move, the more I sink.

"Well, where to begin," I replied sarcastically. "Before I fill you in, can you tell me why you stopped my boyfriend, brother-in-law and myself?"

There wasn't any reason for me to give up Anne's name since this doesn't have anything to do with her. I feel so bad that this happened and now Ronnie is being brought into this which makes me feel worse.

"We believe that you all are involved in Millstone's murder," Shepherd says. A man of few words and zero sympathy.

"Those two," I pointed out the door to signify Ronnie and Vincent, "didn't do anything." I took a deep breath and realized that this was all my doing and I needed to fix this. I couldn't let Ronnie or Vincent sit in a cell because of my ex-husband. This wouldn't be fair to anyone. Especially Anne. "I killed him."

My finger wasn't the one that pulled the trigger but his presence around me is my fault.

"You mean to tell me that you have a Glock .45?" Valcy asked with disbelief.

Is it such a crazy thought that I would have a gun? Hello! I am a New Yorker! Guns are a must. "Yes, yes I am telling you that because it is true. Millstone and Joel both have drugged me at a bar, broke into my apartment and killed my boyfrien
d's assoc- friend. Then they captured me from my friend's gala and beat me up." I stood up to lift my shirt up my stomach so they could see my bruises from the hits.

Both of their eyes got large as they looked me over. "You mind if we take some pictures for evidence?" Valcy asked.

I shrugged and then heard the click of the camera go off a few times. After they took a few pictures, I put my flip flop clad foot on the table so they could see my hand printed bruises. "Joel did these," I pointed to the bruises on my ankles.

The male detective is actually showing me some sort of empathy and I wish it were just he and I in here. "Okay, then tell me what happened?" Shepherd asked.

"After Millstone hit me in my face," I pointed to the bruise on my cheek and then to my chin, "he tried to pull my underwear off and unzip my dress. I was scared, so I reached into my purse that was on my shoulder and shot him as he pulled a gun out in my face. As he fell, Joel took off and my boyfriend found me." I am truly amazed as to how easy this story came to me and flew out of my mouth as if it were true.
