“Why can’t your people handle it?”
“Sir we can but Dark Core will make an attempt to recapture this facility.”
“I thought all of their support droids were destroyed.”
“They were. But some of the data within the lab complex haven’t been decrypted yet. We have no way of knowing if Infernus was being truthful or not.”
“How long will it take to decrypt it?”
“Days, weeks, or even months. We have no way of knowing.”
“Then I’m going to have to say no. Not until you can give me better results.”
“But sir, Jason M. Idelle wanted us to defeat Dark Core by any means necessary.”
“Don’t confuse him with Lenkov and Omori. They are not him.”
“But sir the fact is . . .” Captain Maxwell was saying.
“I don’t care about the facts! They are not him! This conversation is over.”
Captain Maxwell is on his on. He’s right, and nobody believes what he does accept for Commander Ivey. Depressed, he would later get drunk and because of it Dark Core will gain an upper hand. It’s only a matter of time before more people starts to realize that Maxwell is right. But nothing can be done until then.
The Unconquerable Evil

“Where is Captain Levine? Shouldn’t he have brought us Infernus by now?” Inferno of Terror mentioned.
“Yes since he’s dealing with a blank slate SIN type of individual.” Dark Serpent said as he was checking all available information at his disposal.
“Then what shall we do then? The only good that came out of Infernus’ plan is that he was right about how to get rid of Lenkov and Omori.” Inferno of Terror mentioned.
“We must reject his so-call plan, reject him, and stop waiting as he suggested for him to return.” Medusa Pandora responded.
“Agreed. It’s time for us to strike back.” Dark Serpent mentioned.
“In order for us to do that we must throw everything that we got at this wretched world.” Medusa Pandora responded.

“The defenses have been fully repaired and is currently manned sir.” The Senior Ensign informed Captain Maxwell.
“Understood.” Maxwell responded. He then left to have a word with Task Force ZH-3C. He had both good news and bad news for them.
It was obvious that Maxwell was drinking when he met Task Force ZH-3C. He was born on February 20, and like his sign, he can drink like a fish. Omori is also a Pisces but she never drink like a fish. Her only concern is rather or not a person’s drinking conflicts with their duties. It was she who always curbed Maxwell’s enthusiasm for drinking. But now, without her, and combined with his depression, there is nothing to stop Maxwell from drinking to his heart’s content.
“Listen up. I got good news and bad news for your team.” Maxwell was saying to Task Force ZH-3C. He continued on, “I’m not going to send you out for the foreseeable future. The bad news is that Dark Core will strike back and this world will pay a heavy price for it. Nobody can see the wisdom of Lenkov and Omori. Our great glorious founder.”

Without the TIA starbase nobody will ever know that the Efiáltis’ attack an outpost, killed everyone, and secured a major foothold in a strategic location that will allow Dark Core to strike back. The two horned beasts were doing a simple mop up operation so that Dark Core can wipe out all who oppose them. Michael Christianson who is directly responsible for the creation of both the Dragon Clones and the Efiáltis’ in his words “the new clones, although they come from both the madness of General Vaughan and that of the so-call bridge between both versions of the Dark Id, once the mechanism of control is clearly understood, they will render all other types of military clones obsolete.” He also called Efiáltis’, “the unconquerable evil that will destroy all who dares to oppose Dark Core.” But he knew that there was a problem that only Omori could solve.
The mysterious Dark Id creatures were first encountered by Sakura and her team. After the encounter the rift between Omori and Sakura started to develop. But it was mostly over the fact that only Sakura kept on going back into the Valkyrie Matrix and Omori choose to stay outside. Omori at one point started to believe that her friend was under the influence of some dark force. Michael Christianson, when he was analyzing the data that will shed light upon these dark entities, realized that Omori was right on everything concerning the Valkyrie Matrix/Dark Id.
Not understanding why it is, there are four different types of the Efiáltis: grey, brown, red and greenish-black. Michael agreed with Omori that Sakura “knows” but only if she could somehow let go of her beliefs about what the entities are. Nevertheless, Mad Dawg and his Marines have “taken care of” the brown type. The people will no longer have to worry about those versions. But both Michael and Omori knew that these creatures are also strictly hierarchical and what constitutes as their leader/General is still alive upon that world. Vaughan/Infernus knows something and everyone, including Dark Core, is paying the price for what it is.
Although the Marines took out the Efiáltis’ at the clone storage facility, they knew that did not guarantee that was the last of them upon that world. Because the media is what it is they made any effort to detect the new clone threat a mute effort. If no one trust the media than what happens when they report upon the new threat? And those who were reporting upon it was small media outlets. Nothing that would get the attention of those who would seek out the monsters to neutralize them.
If Captain Maxwell had his way than the new clone threat could have been stopped before it became too late. But because of his drinking it is also possible that it wouldn’t. It should be noted that Omori (who always kept a close eye on his drinking) would have stated that with Maxwell his problem is not his drinking but the excuses that he gives so that he can drink. But if he were to make a mistake based upon his drinking, and if you give him enough time, not only would he recognize it, he will overcome and correct his mistake. He is a good officer so long as someone is controlling his drinking. In some way it is not surprising that the other captains, let alone the Governor, didn’t want to go along with his plans. Trust a drunk? Are you out of your mind? They might say. But this drunk, for the first time in his career, is right about something and nobody will listen. Omori was indeed right when she told Ramirez to weep for this world.

The grey-Efiáltis’ came at them in late evening. Knocking out their communications they didn’t stand a chance. Their target was the media, and not just any media, but the ones who sincerely believed that Lenkov and Omori was not the founder. Although it may seem like an absorbed thing to do, Maxwell would have known that it was a form of a media, and public, manipulation. You target your supporters in an effort to convince the people that your opponent is to blame. Combined with Maxwell’s drinking what should anyone think? Maxwell picked the wrong day to be drinking.
Maxwell made two mistakes when the media arrived. First, he ordered a subordinate to take the questions, and second; when he had to answer the questions he was drunk. He made matters worse by not second guessing rather or not Lenkov and Omori was indeed the founder, Jason M. Idelle. Because of his certainty that they are, it made him look like he was guilty of having eliminated the media.
Maxwell was never as good at dealing with the media like Lenkov and Omori. Perhaps the media knew that, or perhaps they just realize it. Regardless of the case, Maxwell sank even deeper into depression and alcohol consumption. As for those under his chain-of-command they, because they served under Lenkov and Omori, felt the same way that Maxwell felt. They will stay with him and they will combat any forces that Dark Core sends their way. But what of Task Force ZH-3C? How did they felt? They had a wait and see attitude. What could they do? They are at the mercy of Maxwell. But they knew that he won’t throw their lives away for nothing. They hope.

The Efiáltis took out the global robotic repair facility. From that point forward any infrastruct
ure that needs repairs will have to wait until the facility is rebuilt. And that will not occur for the foreseeable future. After that they started to take out the infrastructure of that world. Their target was primarily transportation but they also would target electricity and telecommunications. Within the minds of the media they started to develop the fear that Maxwell was right from the get-go. But they would neither apologize nor would they admit that they were wrong. Nor would it have matter if someone showed them any form of evidence. If it doesn’t embarrass them then they wouldn’t care.
The core of Skotadi control over the media was partly based upon the notion that if they (someone other than the upper echelons of Skotadi [more often than not some religious leader]) can break you over what you believe to be the truth than they own you. Skotadi then come in to break you of the lies that you were taught to believe in simply by giving you the truth. (Not a false truth but a real truth.) But unfortunately they steer in you in the direction of conspiracy theories. Why? Because it is too easy to dismiss them as well as to create them. Or as Skotadi puts it, “pick your poison for tomorrow it will be water.” Or to put it another way, today’s truth is tomorrow’s lie. If the people believe in nothing than how can they believe in their own salvation or hope for that matter? And thus the people become pure sheepeople.
In 2286 with Infernus being the strongest within the dirty civil war within Dark Core, he persuaded them to stop the liquidation of all popular conspiracy theories. His reasoning was simple: if the people no longer believe in anything than they will not believe in Skotadi. Their loyalty is therefore in doubt and is reflected within the military. If they were to lose the military than there will be no one to support Dark Core anymore. Even though Dark Core has been experimenting with using clones instead of the military, as Infernus was reasoning, without it being tested on a massive scale they will have no way in knowing if the tactic will work. And thus his argument was simple: human vs. clones, who’s better to use? If Dark Core will stop the liquidation of popular conspiracy theories than it will allow them to find the most popular one so that they can hijack it.
But why was conspiracy theories so important to Dark Core? Why not create a religion in an effort to control the people? Because everyone, including atheists, can believe in a conspiracy theory. Religion, as an atheist might say, is based upon fairy tales, but with a conspiracy theory you need “facts.” President John Doe was killed by whom? A secret cabal of human elites? Or maybe he was killed by the Dark Leprechaun who is in cohorts with the monster under the bed. Which is more believable? What’s more, which would caused a person to be in permanent state of paranoia and hopelessness? The dark evil demon spirit that is out to get you, but may be the figment of someone’s imagination? Or how about a group of evil elites who is out to get you?
It’s not surprising that nobody believed that Lenkov and Omori is Jason M. Idelle. Or Captain Maxwell is innocent of having those media outlets liquidated. Even though the founder came up with all the techniques that guaranteed that Skotadi will always remain in control of all propaganda that did not necessarily extend to Dark Core. They, unlike the founder, never cared what the people think. Why should they? They never, not once, cared before. So why should they care now? But in so dismissing the media they lost out on the public relations that both Lenkov and Omori knew was needed. For both of them, despite how they felt about the media, and yes the media knew how they felt about them, was able to get, and to earn, the full respect from the media. Yes the media did give them a hard time, but all in good respect. As for Captain Maxwell? The media knew that they had a sucker. And they were more than willing to take advantage of it based upon ratings. And without them knowing it they were fixing to pay a hefty price. It did not take long for the people to realize it.

Infernus trapped within the body of Captain Levine was desperate in trying to make his plans come to fruition. He felt cursed by the limitations of the human body which he, like the other Dark Core members hated so much, despised so bitterly. He watched everyone fall for his plans. Even the other three Dark Core members! But his plan will never work if he doesn’t learn to live a life as a human. (Like all other Dark Core members he forgot what that was like.) Choosing to be drunk he came close to being overcome with alcohol poisoning. He knew what was coming next and how he enjoyed the thought that the monkey-fuckers will pay the ultimate price for their treasonous and most wretched behavior against Dark Core.
Although he will never admit to it, but Infernus actually did believe that both Lenkov and Omori was the founder Jason M. Idelle. And he fully understood everything that they were trying to convey but nobody would listen to. As strange as it is, Infernus will bring both Lenkov and Omori’s unwritten vision to fruition. He saw it when no one else could. That being stated, however, he did not fully understand their vision. For their vision did not include people like him. If he did understood it he wouldn’t have care. Power was his main concern like the other Dark Core members. And what of Lenkov and Omori? What was their main concern? Duty and honor for they made that clear when they choose the manner of their “death.”
Unlike all other peoples (Dark Core included) he understands why Lenkov and Omori will not return back to any area that is under human control. Why is it that the gods do not live amongst mere mortals? Or humans amongst apes for that matter? Infernus always got a big huge kick out of something that Omori once said, “If god exist than he is an atheist. Why? It is statistics that bears out the reality that the higher your intellect is, the more statistically likely you are to be an atheist. And therefore god is an atheist.” And yet the irony is that both do entertain the notion that a god could exist. (And the irony of them being Cyeus?)
Infernus’ plan will be executed for the simple reason that nobody will see it coming. And when they do it will be too late to do anything about it. The more he thought about his plan and the more he tried to falsify it, the more he fell in love with it. It will go down in history as the most sinister, the most diabolical, the most ruthless, the most cunning, the most brilliant curse ever to be thrust upon the human race.

“Alex . . .why are you drinking?” Maria asked the love of her life.
“Because I believe that Captain Maxwell is right and nobody will listen to him. Dark Core will strike back and yet, no one upon this world can see that.” Ramirez responded through his drunken state of mind.
“I dread asking this . . .” She was saying.
“Then don’t.”
“What do you think will happen?” She asked him. It only caused him to take a long sip of his drink. It told her to expect the worst.
“Sir . . . I just wanted to let you know that you were right about the Intel.” Martinez informed him.
“Thank you, Dominic.” Ramirez responded. After Martinez left Ramirez took a very long sip of his drink.
“What? What’s wrong?” Maria asked him.
“It’s been nice knowing you my love. And I am grateful for the time that the two of us spent together.” He could only respond.
“What!? What is it!?”
“We’re fixing to be overrun by the Efiáltis. Only a miracle can save us.” Ramirez said which had a chilling effect upon her.

“We’ve lost them! We lost their signal!” The news reporter responded. The only thing that could be heard was the audio and it sent a chill down their spine.
“Oh my God! What are those things!?” The reporter could be heard over the audio.
“What is it? What is it that you see?” The newscaster asked. The only sounds were one of screams, gunfire, and death.
Dark Core was now striking back with a heavy-handed vengeance and the media was nothing but cannon fodder to them. All was expendable and no one is sacred. Blood in massacre out is the only rallying cry of Dark Core. Ramirez is right that only a miracle can save them and they were about to get it. For this one single event will stay the dark hand of the darkest core. But not
for long.
Under a Desperate Situation

“This is Captain Iverson of the RTF Group Tactical SC-15[35]. It is imperative that I speak immediately to Fleet Captain Lenkov. This is considered a priority one message for his eyes only.”
“Captain Iverson, this is Captain Maxwell. Fleet Captain Lenkov is incapacitated. And just what is a RTF Group Tactical doing in this sector?”
“Understood Captain Maxwell. What is the nature of his injuries? I was under the impression that he is an experimental cyborg. And to answer your question, we had no other choice but to come here. We were under attack by unknown forces.”
“Lenkov injuries are classified under the pretext that it would reveal the type of cyborg that he is.”
“Understood, but captain we are at an impasse because my orders require me to speak directly to Fleet Captain Lenkov only.”
“Understood. Captain my first name is Isaac and what is yours if you don’t mind me asking?” Maxwell asked him.
“My first name is Xavier. And I sure would like to welcome you on board my ship.”
“I will be delighted to come over. Over and out.”
Using their first name like that was a way to tell one another that something too serious was occurring and needs a face-to-face conversation. In some small way Maxwell was glad for this opportunity to have presented itself. It gave him hope when nothing else would have. It made him a born again hard Skotadian warrior. But still, he had his doubts how could he not?

“Will you shut up!?” Medusa Pandora almost yelled at Inferno of Terror. He was near hysterical at the reason why RTF Group Tactical SC-15 was doing in the sector.
