Editor/author/game designer JOHN HELFERS lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and wears many industry hats. The co-creator, with fellow Origins Library author Dylan Birtolo, of Henchman (Clarion Game Studios), he is the Fiction Director of Catalyst Game Labs, and works with other game companies such as Nomnivore Games and Lynnvander Studios. He’s also written more than twenty-five novels and fifty short stories in just about every genre known to humankind. John currently works from home, where he spends much of his day pondering whether that is truly the case, or if he is just living at work.
TAYLOR KER was born in Columbus, Ohio, in 2003. She wanted to watch the Harry Potter movies, but her parents said she had to read the books first—which she did by age seven. Catching the writing bug, she cut her teeth on fanfiction before moving on to develop her own characters. She contributes regularly as author, editor and reviewer at online writing sites, and has attended every Origins since her birth. She is proud to be the first Aaron Allston Scholar recipient at Origins 2018.
NIK KORPON is the author of the Memory Thief series—The Rebellion’s Last Traitor and Queen of the Struggle—as well as The Soul Standard, among others. He lives in Baltimore.
DANIEL MYERS is a database programmer, author, dragon slayer, and food historian. Several years back he discovered a secret manuscript which would turn the culinary world upside down. Unfortunately he misinterpreted it as a recipe for clam chowder, left it on a table in a library, and completely forgot about it. He lives in Ohio with his family and an impressive number of Figgy-Fizz bottle caps. CHANTELLE AIMEE OSMAN is the former Editor-in-Chief of RT Book Reviews and freelance editor for over ten years, she is the co-host of the Crime Friction podcast as wells an instructor at the Virginia G.
