Foreword
Dear Readers and Friends,
After many, many requests, I finally put together a reading guide! For those of you reading this introduction, this reading guide has several purposes:
1. To provide an easy place to access all the links to my books, so you don’t have to use wonky search terms or algorithms to try to find that one book you’re looking for.
2. To provide several reading lists for anyone hoping to catch up on the wide world of Terry (or anyone hoping for a refresher, too).
3. Lastly, I wanted to provide some unique content for long-time fans of my work, like a glossary (at the end of the book), and some other guides that anyone could find fun or handy.
In short, feel free to use this guide as however best suits you!
It’s kind of crazy, realizing that this world of mine has been seven years and more than eighty books (all bestsellers) in the making.
To my loyal readers who have been with me from the start, thank you so much! You keep me on my toes with my world-building and always catch the little hints I leave. I love you all so much! To new readers or those who have joined along the way, I appreciate you so much too!
I still can’t believe I’ve been lucky enough to dream up sexy dragons and shifters as my full-time job. As an avid romance reader my whole life, I feel like I’m living a dream every day, and it’s all thanks to you!
One quick aside:
Even though many of my stories interconnect, either by way of cameos, world-building, or continuing plot points, all my books (except for four serials) are intended to be stand-alone reads. As a romance author, I find the most important thing is the couple featured in the story, and them finding their happily-ever-after.
You can really start anywhere you like, but it’s true that you’ll catch more secret hints and references if you read in order.
Lastly…
If you run into any typos, broken/missing links, or any wonkiness whatsoever in this guide, please email me at [email protected] to let me know. I’ll do my best to fix it promptly.
This reading guide has been a work of love and a side project (so I can keep releasing quality novels for my fans) and as such might have a few things I missed along the way, so your help is very much appreciated!
Much love always,
Terry Ann Bolryder
A Note on Terry’s Pricing
One of my beliefs is that everyone should be able to afford books, because they are such powerful escapes from the pressures and sorrows of life.
Because of this, I have put my books in KU and kept them priced very low, no matter how successful I became, because the people who supported me from the start deserve my loyalty. After all, they are the reason I’m here!
But as things change, it’s hard to stay competitive while keeping such low prices. So how do I stay in the market and afford to keep bringing you top quality content, while still making it possible to afford my books?
Here’s my plan:
The way I’ve decided to resolve this is to release new books (at least for now) at .99 at release, and then raise the price shortly thereafter. I’ve also been doing pre-orders to give you a bit longer to pick up the book at .99 as well.
This gives my fans who need them at .99. a chance to still afford my books, as long as they are signed up to my newsletter (http://eepurl.com/bgG7Kf), but allows me to stay competitive in the market.
I appreciate your patience as I continue figuring out what works best going forward. I appreciate you all so much!
*A note on boxed sets, since I get a lot of questions on them: I do them sometimes and I don’t sometimes. I’m never sure any one series will become a box set, but I will email to let you know any time one is out.
Happy reading!
Terry Ann Bolryder
Terry’s Social Media
I am not great at social media (bad Terry) but I hope to improve. I’m just better at writing books and getting lost creating worlds than I am at interacting or marketing.
But I do have a few places you should follow me, if you want to know about releases and grab them while they’re at .99 before the price goes up!
This allows me to make sure my loyal fans can always afford my work, while making sure I stay competitive with the market.
Sign up here for my newsletter! No spam, and it’s always the most reliable way to know when something is out:

Reading Guides for Every Type!
Hi Fans, Newcomers, and Everyone Else!
I’ve had so many requests for a reading guide, but the truth is, unless you have time to read 80 books, there isn’t one way to read that will work for everyone.
So, while I’m including a full list of all of my books in order of publication with links, I’m also including a few other reading guides here, for people who want to just catch up in certain areas or get the main events.
Plus one reading guide that covers almost everything, for the dedicated reader.
Also, at the bottom, I have a (very short, VERY SPOILER-FILLED) plot synopsis for any readers hoping to catch themselves up to speed without having to read every book in my catalogue.
First, I should note that all of my series are technically stand alone, and many have been able to read my books in reverse order without any problems. That being said, if you have the time, many of my readers have commented that they enjoy reading the story from start to finish.
So for those interested in just knowing what to read in terms getting the bulk of the ongoing story, this is for you.
And for those of you who have read all my books, thank you! This can still be a quick refresher for you if you want.
And if you want to just learn more about the world of Terry in general, check out the chapter titled, “A Guide to Terry’s World of Shifters” which gives an in-depth look at the different species and world-specific tidbits without spoiling everything.
Also check out the Glossary at the back, which will help define any terms you’ve seen in a Terry book that might not have made sense at the time.
Here we go!
Reading list Number 1:
“I want just the right starting point so I can read your newest dragon books without feeling lost!”
Suggested Series to Read
Dragons of New York 1-3 (Double Dragons Boxed Set) (if you don’t read menage, you can skip).
Awakened Dragons 1-6 (Awakened Dragons Boxed Set)
Forgotten Dragons 1-5 (Series Page for Forgotten Dragons)
Terry’s Note:
Reading these three series will give you a general knowledge of my dragons (and other shifters), as well as how they mate, what sort of powers they have, and what dragons are fighting for in
this world. My latest series, Forgotten Dragons, has all the info on my newest addition to the world of Terry Bolryder as well: the fae. You’ll definitely want to read what they’re up to, because rumor has it the four princes seen at the end of the series just might be getting their own books!
Terry’s favorite from the list:
Emerald Dragon. He was a villain to the awakened dragons, but ended up being the sweetest hero once he found his mate. Also, his power is probably the coolest of all the dragon powers, and his utter failures at cooking are absolutely hilarious.
I think I still get the most fan mail about him as well, and it always makes me smile.
***
Reading List Number 2:
“I want to know most of what’s happened and get the bulk of your storytelling, but I don’t have time to read every one!”
Suggested Series to Read:
Dragons of New York 1-3 (Double Dragons Boxed Set)
Awakened Dragons 1-6 (Awakened Dragons Boxed Set)
Awakened Sea Dragons 1-3 (Awakened Sea Dragons Boxed Set)
Club Crimson 1-4 (Series Page for Club Crimson)
Bad Dragons 1-3 (Series Page for Bad Dragons)
Forgotten Dragons 1-5 (Series Page for Forgotten Dragons)
Terry’s Note:
These series have the greatest bulk of my world building, giving you a feel for the the important stuff while passing on the more “stand-alone” series that don’t connect to the others as much (though technically each one of my series are stand alone if read in order). You’ll learn about double dragons, awakened dragons, Drakkaris, The Blur, and even get some of hidden secrets about the Fae.
Terry’s favorite from the list:
Felix (Club Crimson #4). For those who have been reading my work a long time, they’ll definitely recognize Felix (a.k.a. Fifi) as a recurring character from my third series ever, Alpha Contender. Over the years, Fifi has popped up to help other shifters out, but I’m so glad he finally got the happily ever after he deserved. The fact he’s a katana-wielding assassin with the most awesome alpha power ever doesn’t hurt, either.
***
Reading list Number 3:
“I love all shifters, dragons, recurring characters, and fun world building. I want to really know the story of Terry’s world from start to finish!”
Suggest Reading:
Alpha Contender 1-4 (Alpha Contender Boxed Set)
Alpha Defender (Alpha Defender)
Dragons of New York 1-3 (Double Dragons Boxed Set)
Tiger Protectors 1-4 (Tiger Protectors Boxed Set)
Awakened Dragons 1-6 (Awakened Dragons Boxed Set)
Rent-A-Dragon 1-3 (Rent-A-Dragon Boxed Set)
Date-A-Dragon 1-4 (Date-A-Dragon Boxed Set)
Awakened Sea Dragons 1-3 (Awakened Sea Dragons Boxed Set)
Dragon Guard of Drakkaris 1-6 (Drakkaris Boxed Set)
Nightmare Dragons 1-3 (Series Page for Nightmare Dragons)
Club Crimson 1-4 (Series Page for Club Crimson)
Bad Dragons 1-3 (Series Page for Bad Dragons)
Forgotten Dragons 1-5 (Series Page for Forgotten Dragons)
A Note From Terry:
This will more or less give you a complete overview of the story so far in my world.
A few side character stories and a number of cameos by main characters in other stories might get missed along the way, but these books will get you all caught up to speed as far as knowing what is going on. You’ll want to read Alpha Contender at the start because it introduces several characters you’ll end up seeing much later. The rest of the suggested reading mostly involve dragons, or shifters that work with dragons, so you can get all the juicy tidbits that are hidden in the romantic main plots that each book centers on.
Terry’s favorite from the list: Aquamarine. I loved Marina from the start, since I always relish the chance to write strong, powerful women in romance. Her mate, Mercury, was a different story. He started out so evil I didn’t think he’d ever get a book. But when he helps Marina when no one else will (no spoilers!) their love story is sweet and powerful.
*Also, the dragon guard of Drakkaris members are all hilarious additions as well.

Spoiler-filled Synopsis of Doom!
This final section is just a short summary for anyone who wants to be caught up to speed as fast as possible, but who doesn’t have the time to read any of the guides above.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND at least starting with list #1, as all of the books in the list are an absolute blast to read and highly rated by my readers. But if you still can’t (which is totally okay, we live in a busy world), then this is for you!
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
LIKE…Seriously. A TON of spoilers.
LAST WARNING. MAJOR SPOILERS. (In case you missed the other warnings. Which I doubt.)
Super Short Synopsis: Just the basics and nothing else.
Shape shifting humans exist in our world. There are wolves, bears, tigers, lions, and even dragons (and much more). All shifters live in secret, and even have laws forbidding showing themselves to humans. However, many shifters are looking for human mates, which leads to fun, problems, and happily ever afters.
The wolf world is run by a secret organization called the Tribunal. Even though they think they’re the good guys, they’re actually super bad sometimes. Through many stories, their evil machinations create problems for our brave heroes and heroines.
Enter the dragons: enforcers of order and enemies of evil. The first dragons we see form triads, with two dragons mating one woman. But almost all subsequent dragons have been monogamous, obsessed with finding one mate per dragon and protecting her at all costs.
The dragons operate under the guidance of the oracle, a powerful, ageless woman who directs shifter affairs to protect the world. However, she has a sister, the dark oracle, who has made tons of trouble for the dragons and their mates over time. She’s done this by channeling the power of dragon blood to create an unstoppable army. But thankfully, with the help of some special nightmare dragons, she meets a necessary end.
As if summoned to fight the rising tide of evil, more dragons awaken from the ice, the sea, and even come to earth from another planet inhabited entirely by metal dragons (Drakkaris). Their efforts culminate in the defeat of another evil dragon queen, Hora, whose plan was to capture special dragon mates (dragon hearts) in order to enslave the dragons.
After that, the combined efforts of a few brave wolves finally bring an end to the evil tribunal as well (Thanks Lock and Fifi!), leading many to believe peace is finally won.
However, an unexpected adventure on the part of one woman into a mysterious place, the Blur, leads to the knowledge of another world beyond our own, inhabited by magical fairies (or Fae). Her encounter with the fae is not a good one, and it takes all the strength of six enforcer dragons to destroy an evil fae prince (yay!).
To our dismay, it looks like the evil chaos fae have their sights set on earth now. This leads to the formation of the fae relocation program. This permits good fae princes from beyond the Blur to come to our world willingly, in the hopes of finding mates as they seek out the dark forces invading in secret. They, with the help of some special, almost-forgotten dragons, are now ready to do what it takes to save the world.
Will they succeed?
We’ll just have to wait and see!
