Hatch (Dogs of Fire)

Jesus, her lips on mine were phenomenal. Always had been. But even more so when I hadn’t had access to them in so long.

I dropped her gently onto the mattress and pulled off my cut and shirt. Maisie let out a quiet gasp and I frowned. “What?”

“You’ve lost weight,” she said, blinking back tears.

  “Stop,” I ordered.

She wiped her tears and nodded.

“Maisie, I’m serious. I’m about to bury my face in your pussy and I want you happy before I do it.”

  “They didn’t feed you.”

“They fed me, Sunshine, it just wasn’t anythin’ I wanted to eat.”

She sat up on her knees. “So you starved yourself?”

“No, baby, I ate. I just ate what I needed to survive.”

“Bloody hell,” she hissed, scrambling off the bed. “You’re going to have a proper meal.”

I grabbed her arm and pulled her back to me. “After I fuck you.”

  “Connor.”

“Maisie, you leave this bed and you and I are gonna have a conversation that will not end with my face in your pussy.”

She let out a quiet hiss, then squared her shoulders and asked, “You think you still have the stamina?”

I unsnapped her bra and cupped her tits. “You seriously questionin’ my stamina, Sunshine?”

Kissing her neck, then her collarbone, I guided her onto her back on the mattress and tugged off her jeans, panties and all, burying my face between her legs. It didn’t matter where or when we fucked, I always started here, unable to vary my course. Jesus, her pussy was like catnip to me... pun intended.

I ran my tongue over her clit, then blew gently, earning a quiet, “Oh” from my woman. Her hands slid into my hair, pulling the tie out, and gripped my scalp. I’d threatened to cut my long hair off a few times in our more than a decade together, but she’d follow it up with a reminder that she’d divorce me if I did, so I let it grow. She whimpered, grinding against my hand as I pressed two fingers inside of her and swept her walls.

“I need you inside me, Con,” she begged, and I made quick work of removing my clothes and sliding into her. She knew how much I loved her using my real name in bed.

Her quiet hiss spurred me on and I ran my tongue over her collarbone, moving lower and drawing a nipple into my mouth. I buried myself deeper as I nipped at her neck gently, then kissed her, dragging her arms above her head and holding her still as I fucked her. Hard.

My dick threatened to explode with every thrust, but I knew she wasn’t ready, so I slowed my movements slightly.

“Oh, God,” she rasped. “Don’t stop.”

“I’m not stopping, Sunshine. Just makin’ it last.”

“Well, you can last as long as you want, but I’ve been without your dick for far too long, so I’d like to come, please.”

I gave her what she wanted, kissing her as she screamed my name, her pussy contracting around me, then I flipped her onto her stomach and slid into her from behind.

Wrapping her hair around my hand, I pulled gently and she dropped her head back with a sigh. “Yes, darling, right there,” she prodded as I buried myself deeper.

I released her hair and gripped her hips, holding her tight to me as I thrust into her harder and harder.

“Connor!” she cried out, and I felt my balls tighten as her walls contracted around me. I gave two more thrusts, then exploded into her, kissing the rise of her ass as her pussy milked me dry.

I slid out of her, pulling her over my chest as she burst into tears and settled her head on my shoulder.

“It’s okay, baby, I got you.”

“I didn’t know if you were ever coming home.”

“I was always comin’ home, Sunshine.”

She sniffed, kissing my chin as she said, “I want you to know, I almost killed Minus.”

I chuckled. “I understand that feeling.”

“But then he really came through and Clutch helped me with all the gun lingo. So, I let him keep his head. I got the impression Cricket was on board to help me hide his body.”

  “Yeah?”

  She nodded.

I stroked her back and smiled. “Cricket has always been overly protective when it came to all of us.” I had three brothers, all younger, and Cricket was not only the baby, but also the only girl. As protective as she was with us, we were ten-fold when it came to her.

  “Mom!”

Maisie sat up. “Shit! He’s home early.”

I glanced at the clock on the nightstand. “He’s not, actually. We lost track of time.”

  “Mom!” Flash called again.

Flash’s real name was Parker, but we’d called him Flash ever since he was little because as soon as he could walk, he was off and running. Jamie, our youngest, would be home shortly, so it was time to cut our reunion short.

Maisie was already out of bed and pulling on her clothes, I did the same, and we headed downstairs. “I’m here, love. And I have a surprise.”

I walked into the kitchen with a grin. “Hey, bud.”

“Dad!” he shouted, and made a run for me.

I grabbed my son up into a bear hug and held him tight. “Jesus, I missed you.”

“I missed you too,” Flash said, hugging me harder. “Are you out out, or out on bail?”

“Out, out,” I said. “All charges dropped.”

  “Awesome! Jamie’s gonna shit himself.”

  “Parker,” Maisie warned.

“Sorry, Mom, but he’s gonna be really excited, and it’s quite possible he’ll defecate in his underoos.”

I couldn’t stop a laugh as Maisie rolled her eyes and made her way to the fridge. “You hungry, baby?”

Flash and I both answered, “Yes.”

She grinned, rushing over to hug us both before stepping back to the stove to make food.

Flash and I sat at the kitchen island while Maisie cooked, and she set grilled cheese sandwiches in front of us just as the front door slammed and Jamie called, “Mom, I’m home.”

I slid off the stool, making my way out of the kitchen and smiling as Jamie slid off his shoes. “Hey, buddy.”

He spun with a gasp and made a run for me. “Dad!”

I lifted him and held him tight as he hugged my neck. “I missed you.”

He turned watery eyes to me, then hugged me again. “Are you gonna leave again?”

“No, buddy, I’m here for good. Mom’s made grilled cheese,” I said. “Come and eat.”

We headed into the kitchen and I reveled in the love my kids showed me. I was so glad I was home.

  Maisie

“We don’t need to do this,” Hatch said once we’d climbed off his bike. “Say the word, and I’ll take you back to bed and bury myself deep again.”

I shivered at the thought, closing my eyes and biting my lip before forcing myself to shake the desire to have him fuck me again.

“Your brothers haven’t slept working to get you out, love,” I said, trying to calm my hair and hide my red-ringed eyes. I still found myself bursting into tears if he was out of my sight for more than a minute. “They deserve to see you, too. Even Flash and Jamie recognize that.”

Payton was bringing our boys in a little while so that I could be on the back of my man’s bike.

He frowned. “Yeah. But we’re gonna make it quick.”

  “I’m good with that.”

He tucked me protectively under his arm and we walked inside.

“Hatch!” Flea bellowed, jogging toward us.

Hatch released me, sort of. He removed his arm from my waist, but took my hand as Flea pulled him in for a hug.

  “Let’s get you a beer...or twelve.”

Hatch chuckled, keeping a tight hold on me as we moved through the room. His brothers each hugged him, then handed him a tequila shot, which Hatch took, until I decided to slow things down.

“The man needs to eat,” I said. “You can get him wasted later.”

  The room erupted in laughs
and I guided Hatch toward the kitchen. Before we could get any further, however, we heard the roar of pipes outside. Since the majority of the club members were already here, I figured it was probably Minus and his crew.

“It’s the Saints!” Booker confirmed after checking the security monitors.

“Let ’em in,” Crow said, and the motor on the rolling bay doors activated. A group of five Burning Saints rode up, parked and got off their bikes.

Minus pulled off his helmet, followed by Clutch.

“What the fuck is he doing here!” Hatch growled, advancing toward the giant third man standing between Sweet Pea and Ropes.

“Whoa, hold on just one minute, Hatch. Lemme explain,” Minus said, blocking Hatch’s path.

I frowned. Not a smart move on Minus’s part. I glared up at the big man, several inches taller than Sweet Pea, which made him close to seven feet, I was sure. This must be Kitty. I’d heard his name, usually said in some derogatory tone, and since it was very likely this man had something to do with Hatch getting locked up, I didn’t care how big he was. I was contemplating how hard it would hurt to head butt him in the testicles.

“Fuck you, Minus, step aside or I’ll make sure you’re separated from Cricket for good this time around,” Hatch snapped.

Minus’s jaw stiffened, and his fists balled at his side. “I’m gonna let that go, but you need to stop and let me explain why he’s here.”

Hatch continued his advance. “I mean it, Minus, there’s gonna be six feet of fresh soil between you and my sister if you don’t get out of my way right fucking now.”

“Hatch!” Crow yelled, causing him to stop in place, but his eyes remained locked on Kitty’s massive frame, which now stood only three feet from Hatch. “What the hell is going on here, Minus? You’d better have a really good explanation as to why this giant sack of shit is stinking up my clubhouse, and why you brought it here.”

“Kitty’s the reason Hatch is out of jail,” Minus said.

“Bullshit. He’s the reason he was there in the first place,” Booker snapped.

“That was Los Psychos,” Kitty said.

Los Psychos, a rival Mexican biker gang, had been gunning for the Dogs and Burning Saints for years. A few months ago, our club had rekindled an old relationship the Saints in order to help them deal with Los Psycho’s bullshit. We were more than happy to help them out, in exchange for some future services rendered... whenever called upon, of course. Apparently, our help didn’t go unnoticed by Los Psychos, and although they left town, they weren’t gone for good or done with the Burning Saints or the Dogs of Fire. To make matters worse, my sister, Cricket, was Minus’s old lady, which is likely why I had been their target.

“You shut your fucking mouth, Ben,” Crow spat out. “You have no right to be here, and I swear there’ll be nothing but a stain where you’re standing if you don’t leave.” He turned to Minus. “I don’t know what the fuck you think you’re pulling here, but you need to go with him, and I’ll think about whether or not our clubs have any kind of future together.”

“Crow, please. That’s what this is all about. That’s why Kitty is here with me.”

“You don’t know shit about Kitty or his history with my club,” Crow snapped. “My club, Minus. My club that I kicked him out of years ago. The guy that I just found out was trying to frame my sergeant. A man I asked you to deal with to settle up your debt to me.”

“I did deal with it,” Minus continued. “I got you every shred of information you needed and then some as a matter of fact. I held up my end of the deal, lock stock and fucking barrel, Crow.”

“He looks no worse for the wear, I notice.”

“I told you the Burning Saints are out of the hurt business. I got you what you needed, my own way, without violence,” Minus said calmly.

“By cutting some sort of deal with him? By agreeing to bring him here in exchange for the information he planted?” Crow growled.

“Yes and no. If you’d just hear him out, he can explain everything,” Minus said.

“I don’t want an explanation from him. I want an exodus from all of you. Get the fuck out, or I’ll put you out.”

Clutch took a step forward and moved his hand towards his inside cut pocket, but Minus motioned for him to stand down.

“It’s cool, I’m not here to cause trouble, Crow,” Minus said. “You know the kind of future I’m trying to build for my club, and you know how much I respect your council. You also know the intel we gave you was solid, and that we’re gonna help you until this Los Psychos shit is resolved, but right now I need you to trust me. Give us five minutes and if you don’t like what you hear, you’ll never hear from Kitty again.”

“I shouldn’t have heard from him at all, and it’s your future presence around here that you should be worried about.”

“I understand. Five minutes, that’s all I ask.”

“You’ve got three.” He crossed his arms. “Start talking.”

Hatch leaned down to kiss my temple and whispered, “Club business, baby, yeah?”

I rolled my eyes. “Bloody hell, Con—”

“I’ll fill you in later, but if this gets heated, I don’t want you gettin’ hurt.”

“Well, I don’t want you hurt, either.”

  “Sunshine,” he warned.

“Fine,” I snapped. “I’ll go make you something to eat.”

  “Love you, baby.”

“Yeah, yeah. You’re gonna work hard later.”

  “Lookin’ forward to it.”

I headed to the kitchen and started going through the fridge. My kids walked in a few minutes later, followed by several of the wives and girlfriends of club members, so I put them to work, helping me make food for an army.

“Let me get this straight,” Crow said, stroking his thick beard. “In order to pay off your debt to me, I told you to get information from Kitty and for you to come through for me you had to agree to patch him into your club?”

“Not had to, chose to,” Minus clarified.

  “As if that’s better.”

“No one gets into my club by force. Kitty agreed to give me, therefore you, access to the information you needed, and in return, I’ve agreed to bring him on as our tech guy. We have needs, he has skills, not to mention he knows the area.”

“You’re forgetting the part where I ran him out of the area years ago and told him not to show his giant face around here again.”

“Yeah, well instead of being an ass about how he found the intel, how about you just be happy he did it and didn’t ask for anything in return,” Minus said.

“Fuck this,” I said. “I’d rather drink than listen to any more bullshit that pussy wants to spout. Who’s with me?”

The room erupted with cheers and we spent the rest of the night drinking and eating the feast our women prepared for us.

“Sid!” Poppy squealed as she rushed into the room and threw herself into my arms.

  “Hey, baby girl.”

Poppy was technically my step-daughter, but I’d adopted her soon after Maisie and I had gotten married. Her biological dad had died of cancer when she was really little, and she’d always called me Sid (Stand-in-Dad).

She reached up and patted my cheek. “You’re really here.”

“Yeah, baby girl. Really here and not goin’ anywhere.”

  “Promise?”

  “I promise.”

For the rest of the night, she and Maisie stayed close, as did my boys. All in all, it was a perfect end to a shitty situation, and I was so fuckin’ glad to be home.

  Maisie

  Eight months ago...

“You good?” hatch asked as he held me close. Maisie Day had come again, and last night I was convinced I was over the fear that he’d be taken from me again, but this morning, it all came back.

“Not yet,” I admitted, burying my face in his neck.

He chuckled, kissing my temple. He was waiting for m
e to feel settled before he left for work. I’d feel bad if he wasn’t the boss, or if he didn’t have a kickass team to cover for him.

This was one of the things I’d come to fully appreciate about being part of an MC. And even more now that Hatch had been promoted to club President. There were a shit-ton of bikers ready to back you, whether in a fight or needing a morning shagging your husband.

This morning, Flea had opened the shop, and Hatch’s brother was joining him so Hatch could stay here with me. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t freak out every Maisie Day, just this one. The one that happened at the same time of year as he was arrested.

“Poppy’s gonna be here in less than twenty minutes,” he informed me.

  “She’ll understand.”

He lifted my chin to meet my eyes and stroked my cheek. God, he was a beautiful man. Long, dark hair, peppered with grey now, his beard full, and when he smiled, his eyes crinkled at the corners, proving I’d made him laugh for a long time.

“Nothing’s going to happen to me, Sunshine. Remember, I’m your escape hatch.”

I chuckled, kissing him gently. “I know that here,” I said, tapping my head. “But here,” I settled my palm over my chest, “not so much.”

“You need me to fuck you again?”

I sighed. “Need? No, because a twelfth orgasm would just be greedy, but want? Yes.”

He slid a hand between my legs and pressed his palm against my clit, slipping two fingers inside of me.

  “Mmm,” I moaned.

Then he was over me, his dick sliding into me and his mouth on mine and I was wrapping my legs around his waist, arching to get closer.

I wove my fingers into his hair and he bit my lower lip gently, burying himself deeper inside of me. “What do you want, Maisie?”

  “Your dick.”

  “Where?”

I blinked up at him. “Wherever the hell you want to put it,” I challenged, and he hissed as his dick got harder inside of me.

Pulling out, he rolled me onto my side and retrieved the lube from the nightstand, then he pressed the tip of his dick at the tight entrance of my ass and pushed in slowly. I whimpered with need, trying desperately to keep another orgasm at bay.
