“He wouldn’t be anything else. If he tries anything. His manhood is gone.”

“Poppy can see and do what she wants.”

I nod. “Sure, she can. But she’s under Day’s protection. Which means she’s off limits to anyone else in the club.”

“What happens if it backfires and she climbs into Data’s bed,”

I finish my coffee and pull Eve into my arms. Shit, it’s several hours since I was last between her legs and my cock is crying out for some attention. “Forget about Poppy. Data wants to be a full member.” I lean over and steal another kiss from her. The sigh she releases into my mouth sends the blood to my ears. “Believe me. His thirst to be a River Demon outweighs his desire to be Poppy’s lover.”

  “I don’t believe you.”

“No.” I lift Eve onto the counter and spread her legs. My fingers stroke the soft flesh of her thighs. “I like this skirt.”

“You do. Why?” Eve leans back as I push the skirt up to her hips. Her breathing shallow as I trace an invisible line on her thigh.

“Because of this.” My finger moves from her thighs to stroke the cloth of her panty covered pussy. Eve closes her eyes, and as she leans her head back, her mouth falls open and I stroke the material again. “You like this.” Eve nods as I stroke the material once more. Her fingers clench around the edge of the counter. “It’ll get better in a moment.”

  “It will.”

“Yeah.” Eve rises her hips as I hook my fingers into the waistband of the black panties, and I pull them free with ease and drop them onto the floor. Her body trembles under my touch as I stroke the sensitive flesh of her exposed pussy. A light flush spreads over her cheeks and down to her neck as I continue with my stroking. Her pussy is damp, and her cream coats the finger pleasuring her. Her gasps grow louder as she tries to steady her breathing. “Look at me.”

Eve opens her eyes. The silver darkening to black as I rub, pinch and stroke the skin between her pussy lips. My flick is light against her swollen clit. “Bastian.”

“Shush. Keep your eyes open, Eve.” As I stroke her pussy, Eve’s hips thrust against my hand and I slip a finger into her tunnel. Her muscles clench around the digit as I thrust in, scraping her muscles with the tip as I pull it out.

“Bastian.” I slip a second finger into her pussy and Eve’s muscles clasp on to them as her thighs clench.

“Are you enjoying your finger fuck, Eve”

Eve nods as another gasp escapes her. Her tits quiver and her stomach contracts as her fingers tighten against the counter edge. “That’s it, Eve. Come around my fingers.” As I thrust my fingers into her, my tempo speeds up. Eve lets free a groan which echoes around the room as her body shudders around my fingers.

“Fuck, Bastian. A girl could get used to a welcome like that.”

“I’m only here to serve you.”

“To serve me or to eat me.”

‘Now how can I resist that kind of offer.” With a smile, I push Eve further onto the counter, spreading her legs as my head dips to her inviting pussy.

  Chapter 11

Eve – Eve’s Home Noir Valley

The ringing of the doorbell interrupts my workflow and I glance at the clock on the monitor and frown. It’s eleven fifteen and time for my appointment with Charlene and a prospective buyer for the house. Charlene greets me with a smile as I open the door and my gaze goes to the woman next to her. As she’s slightly smaller than me, I don’t have to look too far down to meet her gaze. A gaze which offers warmth. Her smile is welcoming, as she holds her hand.

  “Hello, Eve. I’m Marilyn Keys.”

“Mrs. Keys.” I stand aside and invite the women in.

“Everyone calls me Ma Keys. Why don’t you do the same.”

I nod as my gaze turns to Charlene – “You don’t need me do you.”

Charlene frowns, then her smile is in place. “No. We’ll start with the upstairs and work our way downstairs. “That’s okay with you Ma Keys.”

“Yes, Dear. I still say you’re wasting your time. I’m only doing this for Josh.”

I watch as Charlene and Ma Keys mount the stairs, then I return to my workstation. However, instead of resuming with my work, I lean back in my chair and take a look around the living room come temporary study. Apart from my workstation with the laptop and a draught board pushed near the window, the only other furniture in the room is a couch and a coffee table. Shortly after Mama’s death, I packed up most of her belongings and dumped them. It had taken four dumpsters. Out of her mess, I managed to salvage several crates of unopened items and passed them on to the goodwill and women’s refuge. The kitchen is just as empty, and apart from the bedroom Bastian and I use, all the rooms upstairs are empty. Not that there is much furniture in the bedroom, just a cheap bed and a set of drawers I am using during my temporary stay in Noir Valley.

My gaze goes to the window and I look at the simple yard out front. As a child, the lawn had been a wild mess, with grass as high as the windowsill. Once a year, after the insistence of the neighbors Mama would have the grass cut. That was only because they threatened her with court. As I grew older; I cut the lawn. Until the summer I turned fourteen and could no longer cope with the way Mama lived. I’d run away then. Ran way to live with an aunt. I’d lived with her for a couple of years until I’d been accepted into college. The lounge door opens, and I spin the chair round to watch Charlene and Ma Keys enter the room. I drop my unused pencil onto the workstation and force my smile into place. Seeing this buyer is a stark reminder that my return to Noir Valley is only temporary. “Coffee.”

Charlene smiles as she looks at her watch, then shakes her head. “Not for me. I’ve another showing.” She turns her gaze to her companion. “Ma Keys?”

“I’ll love to stay for a coffee. That’s if you don’t mind, Eve.”

I rise from my seat and point to the couch. “Not at all. I’ll just see Charlene out. Then I’ll be back with the coffee.

Ma Keys is sat on the couch when I return with the coffee and I join her. “Well.”

Ma Keys takes a look around the lounge, then she turns her gaze back to me. “It’s a nice house and with a bit of color added to it, I’m sure it’ll be a beautiful house.”

  “But you’re not interested.”

Ma Keys takes a sip of her coffee, then she shakes her head. “I have a home I’m happy with. It’s Josh, who wants me to move.” She takes another sip of her coffee. “He thinks I’m bothered about those bikers. But they’ll be gone soon enough.”

My heart dips as my stomach clenches. “The River Demons – What have they done.”

Ma Key’s laughter is light, and I smile at her. “Not those bikers. They’re nice boys. Why Josh is one of them. No. The other ones. What is it Pond calls them? The Skull Collectors.”

My smile is frozen as I continue to watch Ma Keys and my fingers tighten on my cup. “You know Bastian.”

The woman smiles as she nods. “Him, and the others used to play at the house when they were young boys.”

“Did Bastian ask you to come look at my house.”

“No. It was Josh’s idea. And like a good mother, I indulged him.”

  “Oh.”

  “You’re not mad are you.”

I smile at Ma Keys, putting all thoughts of Bastian to the back of my mind. “No. Just surprised that’s all.”

Ma Key pats my thigh “You’re Bastian’s friend. Josh has mentioned you.”

  “Josh?”

“You’ll know him as Oyster, I guess.”

I nod as I rise from the couch and go to stand by the window. I turned down Bastian’s offer for the house and now he was getting one of his cohorts to buy the house instead. My smile is saccharine when I turn back to Ma Keys. “And you’re definitely not interested in the house.”

“No, dear. I like where I live. No matter what Josh or the others think.” Ma Key rises and places her empty coffee mug on the table. “Besides. If you’re staying you won’t be selling th
e house, will you?”

I blink as I follow Ma Keys to the door. “Staying – I’m not sure if I’ll be here longer than the summer.”

The roar of a bike pulling into the driveway, is the first warning I have that Bastian is home. I glance at the clock; it’s just gone five, he’ll be leaving for the Riverboat again in a couple of hours. I’m still sat at my workstation as Bastian walks past the door. He doubles back and leans against the doorjamb. “Come have a coffee.”

I shake my head. “I’ve a deadline to meet.”

Bastian walks further into the room and I watch his legs as he strolls over to where I am and sits on the corner of the workbench. “I’ll be gone all night, Eve. Giving you all evening to work.” He holds his hand out to me. “Let’s have coffee.”

I breathe in deep as I stand and walk away. The pencil is still in my hand and I twirl it between my fingers. I’d love to have coffee with Bastian. But first I want to know what game he’s playing.

“Someone came to look at the house today.”

Without leaving the desk, Bastian twists his body around to watch me. His gaze is hooded from me, hiding his thoughts, and I clamped my lips. “Did they make an offer.”

“No. They weren’t interested. They only came to make their son happy.”

  “Oh.”

The pencil snaps and I glare at Bastian. “Oh. Is Oh, all you can say.”

Bastian shrugs. “What do you want me to say.”

“To tell me that you didn’t put Oyster up to buy this house after I’d turned you down.”

Bastian rises from the corner of the table and as he steps towards me, I step to the back of the couch. “Oyster’s been after Ma Keys to move for years. I told him about this place.” Bastian smiles, flashing his teeth. “You’ve met the old lady. Do you really think Oyster can make her do something she doesn’t want to?”

I bite my bottom lip and smile as I shake my head. “She said she wasn’t letting The Skull Collectors drive her out of the one home she’s always loved.”

Bastian chuckled. “That’s Ma Keys. How about that coffee?”

Bastian is close. His scent enflames the pulse in my pussy and I raise my arm and push against his chest as I step back. “Forget about finding a buyer for my house. And I’ll think about the coffee.”

Bastian follows me to the door and as he moves in closer, he pushes my body up against the doorjamb and his hips thrust into me. “I don’t know why you won’t let me, or Day buy your house.”

His hand is at the catch of my jeans, and as he pulls the zipper down, his fingers brush against the flesh as it is bared to his gaze. “Because if you or anyone from the River Demons buy the house. It’ll feel like charity.” I gasp as Bastian slips his finger between my plump lips and begins to spread the cream. “I don’t need your money or your charity.”

Bastian lowers his head. His lips are just above mine. “It wouldn’t be charity. Now forget about the house and let’s have coffee.”

“Coffee.” My voice is lost as Bastian thrusts his tongue into my mouth and his cock surges into my pussy. As he plunges into me, my hips meet his thrusts. “I don’t want coffee. I want to talk about the house.”

“Leave the house to Charlene to sort out and enjoy the coffee.”

  “How do I look?”

Bastian removes his helmet and hangs it on the handlebars of his bike. As he looks at me, his eyes gleam and his smile has me wetting my panties. No matter how many times we fuck, I never seem to get enough of him. “You’ll pass”

“I’ll pass. Tell that to your friend in your jeans.”

Bastion loops his arm around my shoulder, and we turn towards Firebird and Leon’s home. The smell of burning charcoal and freshly cooked meat teases my taste buds and I slip my hand into the back pocket of Bastian’s jeans. “I can’t control my little friend, Eve. He has a will of his own.”

“Are you fishing for compliments. Because we both know your friend is not wee.”

Bastian’s chuckle sets the blood racing through my veins and I give his ass a pinch. “That’s a mighty fine compliment you gave me, Eve. Guess I should give you the same.” Bastian glances at my breasts and as they swell at the look of appreciation in his amber eyes, my smile slips and I force it back into place. Today is not the time to be thinking about my future.

  “So, I look good.”

“You look amazing. That Tee-shirt has my firm approval.” Bastian’s hand drops to my ass and he squeezes one of the cheeks. “And those jeans have my blessing. Especially the way the material hugs your ass.”

As we turn down the path leading to the rear garden, the music which was faint when we arrived is now louder. Bastian pushes the side gate open and I step into the backyard. Balloons of a variety of colors bob on the fence and it looks as though the whole club is here and there’s barely any standing room. I scan the yard until I find Firebird, who is standing beside TJ at the barbecue. “I’ll be back.” I kiss Bastian on the cheek and turn to where the food is cooking.

“A good turnout.” I hand Firebird the bottle of wine which she accepts as she kisses my cheek.

“Free food and a party. The River Demons rarely turn one down. Never mind when both are on offer.” Firebird turns me away from the barbecue and escorts me to the makeshift bar. “Do you want wine or beer?”

“Beer. Save the wine for when I’m over next.”

“I like your thinking. Data, two beer.”

“Here you are ladies.” The young Biker hands the beer over which I accept with a grateful smile as I search the crowd for Bastian. I find him talking to Day and Kit. All three are relaxed and chuckling.

  “You like Bastian.”

I smile as I watch the Biker “Yeah.” I take another swallow of my beer and turn my attention to Firebird. “I never thought I’d get caught up with a Biker. You hear so many rumors about them.”

  “Most of them are true.”

“Really.” I turn my gaze back to the three Bikers, who, though part of the party appears to be on the sidelines.

“Yeah.” Firebird glances over my shoulder. Her smile wide. “But I wouldn’t change them. Well, perhaps Day. He can be a jerk when he wants to be.” Firebird takes a swig of her beer and I watch the red tip of her tongue as it wipes the liquid off her lips. “But most of the time he’s okay.”

  “Yeah.”

“If he hasn’t done so already. He’ll make a crass pass at you.”

“Even though he knows I’m with Bastian.”

  “Especially because you’re with Bastian.”

I scan the party. The crowd is well and truly mixed and there’s no shortage of women. “I don’t see him going too short on company.”

“He’s not. But he likes the chase.” Firebird frowns as she watches the Biker. He’s stopped talking and glances in our direction. Firebird raises her bottle to him, then takes another sip. Day returns the salute, then takes a drink of his own beer as he turns away from us. “I think it’s his way to test your loyalty.”

“What, Make a pass. I turn you down. You’re okay. Make a pass. Accept it. Enjoy it and you’re a tramp.”

“I know. You’ve got to love their double standards.”

  “Or we could change it.”

“If you have Bastian’s protection. You’ve nothing to worry about.”

I search the party and find Poppy dancing with Leon. “Bastian said something about Poppy being under Day’s protection.”

“They see her as a little girl and not the woman she is. She can make her own mind up.” Firebird chuckles. “She’s hamming it up with Data and loving the attention she’s getting from it.”

“You think she’s got what it takes to bring Day to heal.”

Firebird nods “Yeah. And more. But it’s not going to be easy.”

I turn my gaze back to the men and this time it’s Bastian who glances over. He says something to Day and Kit who laugh and slap him on his back. Then he’s coming towards me and the speed of my heart increases
.

“I’m going to save Leon from my baby sister.”

I nod without looking at Firebird. My attention is on Bastian as he makes his way to me. His approach is slow and seductive as he watches me. “What are you and Firebird up to?”

“Nothing.” I link my hand into his and his thumb brushes over the flesh and the coils in my stomach come to life.

The corner of his eyes crinkle and I clamp my thighs. “Nothing. You and Firebird are getting quite thick.

  “I like her.”

“Wanna Dance.” With a nod I turn to the throng of people gathered in a clear area and as I pass a table I place my empty beer bottle on it.

The heat of the afternoon sun and the throng of dancers soon leaves me thirsty, and I turn to leave the dancefloor. Bastian follows and with a smile I accept the fresh bottle of beer he had collected from the bar. I search the yard for somewhere to sit and Bastian’s chuckle has me looking at him. “There’ll be a couple of crates in the garage. I’ll go fetch them.” I nod and watch as he turns away, keeping my gaze on his ass as he disappears amongst the crowd.

  “Eve.”

I turn to the biker who has silently approached me and try not to shiver at the coldness in his eyes. “Day.”

“You planning to stay in Noir Valley for long.”

My gaze goes to the blonde by his side. She is petite and skinny with her hair pulled back in a tight braid. “I haven’t given it much thought.”

As he takes a long swallow of his own beer, his gaze remains on me and I fight the urge to blink and look away. Finally, he lowers his bottle and nods. “Poppy tells me you’re going to New Orleans.”

Hell, I’d forgotten we’d rearranged the trip and if Day knows. Bastian is bound to know, but he’s never said anything. “Yep. We made the arrangements the morning the photographs arrived.”

“I wouldn’t have thought metal was your type of music.”

System of a Down fills the air and I smile. “No. What kind of music do you think rocks my boat?”

Day’s hand wraps around the blonde’s waist as he pulls her in closer to his body. He takes a swig of his beer without taking his gaze away from me. “Something popish” He squints as he tilts his head as though he is studying me further. “Or maybe classical.”
