The Percipience Series Continued
I hope you have enjoyed 2022. This book was written after my first draft of 2222 with the hope that separately introducing background information on Percipience will make 2222 a better read. I was not too happy where 2222 ended, so I added the novel 2232, completing the trilogy. Still not content, I felt compelled to tackle a few of the more controversial issues around sustainability and, Time Lost, a standalone book in the Percipience series was the result. Currently I am working on the yet to be named book five of the series and hopefully will complete it in 2017.
All feedback, either through my website or through a review/rating on Amazon, Goodreads or Librarything is greatly appreciated.
From the back covers;
2222
With his act-now-and-ask-questions-later approach, Alec resolves to unravel the mystery of a radio signal that should not exist in a world thrown back into the Dark Ages after the Great Loss.
In an unforeseen period of self-discovery, Lauren attempts to understand her own personal capabilities born of an experiment begun 200 years earlier by a philanthropist whose goal was to solve the ultimate puzzle.
Alec and Lauren and their ideologically opposite cultures emerge in a post-apocalyptic world and endeavor to coexist while racing to rediscover lost technologies—all on a planet still recovering from events predating the Great Loss. The challenges are not restricted to the world of fiction and dare the reader to answer the real-life question: “Are we there yet?”
2232
Time did not dampen his need for revenge. If anything, in the years since the showdown between Epoch and Percipience, his commitment for vengeance was stronger than ever. Like a wolf watching his prey, he patiently waited for the right opportunity to strike back.
With the development of a new defense system for Percipience, Alec and Lauren thought that they would finally be able to concentrate on the challenges within their own village. However, an unexpected telepathic connection and a new riddle change all of that, leading them to the discovery of new technologies and the uncovering of an imminent danger threatening them, their village and the human species.
As the story unfolds, the characters begin to realize the unthinkable. That Richard may have made a fundamental mistake when laying out his plans two hundred years ago. A mistake so significant that it may unravel their very way of life and perhaps may do the same in the real world that we live in now.
Time Lost
Realizing that they have not gone far enough to save the planet, Richard and the eco-terrorist organization CURE decide to take their fight into the commerce atmosphere, starting by targeting the largest corporations.
Independently, the multi-nationals are realizing that environmental issues are starting to put a dent into their profits and are risking future growth so they unite to put in place a tried and true solution, war, on a scale never before seen on this planet.
Just like a game of tug of war, there can only be one winner. But is the rope, in this case the planet, strong enough or is it so frayed that it will be torn apart in this conflict?
