  INTRODUCTION

As you read this No Weapon Handbook, my wife Joni and our children, Ashton and Austin, and I want you to know that we are standing on God's Word for you and your children and your entire family because we have His promise that...

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord (Isaiah 54:17).

It has been the ploy of Satan from the beginning of time, in the Garden of Eden, to attack the heritage of the family of God.

Why? The devil knows if he can apprehend the children of one generation, he can stop the mighty flow of the revolutionary remnant army of God who is rallying its forces in this end time hour.

He knows that as long as he can keep our children captive to the value system of the god of this world—they will never realize the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that can set them free.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord (Luke 4:18,19).

In every generation there is a yoke ... but also in every generation God, Himself, provides an anointing that will destroy that yoke.

You have this anointing resident within you. In this handbook I'm going to show you just how you can break through Satan's stranglehold on our youth and set them gloriously free through the blood of Jesus, the Word of God and travailing prayer.

Every day I turn on the six o'clock news to witness murder and mayhem in our streets and senseless violence, with children murdering children all across our land.

America is witnessing the assassination of the spiritual power and prowess of the body of Christ. We have sown to the wind, and now we are reaping the whirlwind. We have spent an entire generation raising irreverent children, training them to question authority at every level instead of teaching them that to obey is better than to sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22).

Today, all across America, Satan has unleashed a strategic and calculated plan to annihilate our children. The entire family structure is under attack as never before.

There are only two institutions ever found in the Bible that God sanctioned: first the family and then the church. But nearly half of all children in America are being raised in single parent homes. All over this planet, children are being raised and nurtured by only half of God's intended provision for them.

If our youth do not receive the nurturing they need at home, they will seek it on the Internet, in street gangs, in drugs or in the occult ... and if these demonic alternatives don't give it to them, all too often, suicide or violence become the answer to their dilemma.

  FOLLOWING ABRAHAM'S EXAMPLE

The Bible didn't say God blessed Abraham more exceedingly than any other man because he was so full of faith, or because he was so respectable, or because he was such an astute businessman.

The Bible records in Genesis 22:17 that God told Abraham He was going to multiply his seed like the stars in heaven for one reason—because He knew Abraham was a man who would raise his family to revere a holy, sovereign God.

The Lord knew when He blessed Abraham with Isaac, his son, it wouldn't be long before Isaac was walking with the Lord. And if Isaac walked with Him, it wouldn't be long before Isaac's son, Jacob, would be walking with Him as well.

The ultimate responsibility lies within the family. The highest commandment God gave to the human race was to raise a righteous seed. In Genesis 1:28 He states, "Be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it."

Our children are our spiritual seed. They are our posterity and the heritage of those who belong to the Lord. God is only in covenant with us as we produce the righteous seed to fulfill His purpose in the earth.

THE TOOLS OF THE DEVIL'S TRADE

We must be alert! We are living in a time when the devil desires to manipulate the impressionable minds of our children and poison them against the things of God.

Matthew 18:6 tells us, "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."

Who is it that offends our children?

Secular humanists offend our children. Educators who immerse our children in values clarification and sex education, which has little to do with personal hygiene, and everything to do with shaping their morals away from those of their family and their church; these offend our children.

Political correctness offends our children. The unsaved, unregenerate politicians who are not born again offend our children.

Marketing masterminds have packaged the spirit of the world with the doctrine of devils and attempted to embed them into the minds of the righteous seed of God.

Never, in modern history, has the devil attacked our heritage as in this final day and hour. He is doing everything he possibly can to spiritually and physically annihilate one entire generation.

He is trying to send an entire generation to hell using music and lyrics that glorify death, murder, suicide, New Age philosophy and outright Satan worship.

For nearly 50 years, unconventional clothes and hair have been the trademark of the younger generation—from the leather jackets and duck tails of the '50s to the bizarre spiked hair and punk styles of the '80s. But the '90s have brought some subtle changes that encourage a step into the dark side to meet their need for acceptance and identity. Many of the hottest items sold at our malls sport satanic and occult symbols.

Satan knows the Lord's ultimate plan for him. He knows his days are numbered on this planet, and he's starting to panic. He's pulling out all the stops! It's time to call a halt to this satanic onslaught.

While we may be in a spiritual war with the forces of darkness over the future of our children ... our Lord has declared to us through His prophet, Isaiah, that as we stand in covenant and fight on their behalf that no weapon that is formed against them shall prosper ... and every tongue that shall rise against them in judgment He will condemn. This is the heritage of those that serve Him! (Isaiah 54:17)

  IT'S OUR TURN NOW!

I believe the tragic events in many of our high schools in recent history is our wake-up call! Too long the church has sat in deafening silence while the world has cheered itself into a frenzy of violence, immorality and crime. Our voice has been silent too long and our action far too weak.

God is looking for a people who are willing to stand up and declare that their God is stronger than the demonic forces of the hour in which they live.

One Christian martyr did. Recently her classmate pointed a gun in her face at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado and asked if she believed in God. She squared her shoulders and resolutely declared, "I do," and became America's first martyr in over a century.

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS

I believe the Lord has brought you and I together in the fullness of time to stand in the gap for this generation. The devil has had a free hand in America long enough, and it's our turn now!

God, Himself, has raised us up as a revolutionary remnant church to declare to the forces of darkness that NO WEAPON formed against the young people of our nation CAN PROSPER because we are lifting up a hedge of protection around about them that the devil cannot penetrate.

It's our turn to enthrone the King of Glory to His rightful place in America and return the worship of His name to o
ur children and our teenagers.

So many of our young people today have no one to stand in the gap for them in prayer, but we can make a difference through the blood of Jesus, the Word of God and travailing prayer.

I'm challenging every mom and dad, grandmother and grandfather, aunt and uncle, neighbor and friend to join me in raising up a spiritual covering over the young people of this nation. It's time to draw a line in the spiritual sand and tell the demon hordes of hell, "You're not going to have this generation!"

Let's storm the gates of hell with the words of the prophet Isaiah as our battle cry:

NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST THEM SHALL PROSPER!

  THE BLOOD

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt (Exodus 12:13).

Jesus became our Passover Lamb. Our heavenly Father loved us so much that He gave His Son— without sin—to be our final sacrifice.

Jesus' priesthood began when He entered the Holy of Holies and offered His blood for us ... once and for all.

Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us (Hebrews 9:12).

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus . . . let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled ... (Hebrews 10:19,22).

The Israelites applied the blood to their doorposts, and their entire households were kept safe.

Not only was the blood for their household, but if their neighbor did not have a lamb, it was for them also!

... they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house; and if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb (Exodus 12:3,4).

Now, when we apply the precious blood of Jesus, our Passover lamb, He speaks on our behalf. Jesus says, "Look, there's the blood. They're blood bought."

Satan shrieks in rage when he can't touch our households, which includes ALL of our relatives. He can't touch those children who are covered by the blood.

The blood is an impenetrable force against the demonic schemes of the prince of the air.

Nothing can get through the blood. Drug pushers can't get through the blood, street gangs can't get through the blood, spirits of suicide and addiction can't get through the blood!

We need to stop running around trying to please God with our socials and our charities. We cannot offer our own works; we can only offer His blood. When we offer the blood of Jesus as our covering and our plea, God sees the blood—and the blood cries mercy.

When we apply the blood of Jesus to our lives and those we care about, it immediately pleads for us from the mercy seat.

There is power in the blood!

When Satan and his demonic hordes hear you plead the blood of Jesus, they know no weapon formed against those it covers can prosper. They know God is going to answer your prayer.

When the blood is applied, all heaven rallies to the aid of those it covers. Satan cannot penetrate the prayer covering of the blood of Jesus.

LEARN HOW TO PLEAD THE BLOOD!

[We are] the elect... unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:2).

We can "plead the blood" all day long, but if we are not obedient to the Word of God, we will be wasting our breath.

And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason: and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you (Exodus 12:22,23).

If the Israelites had set foot outside their homes that Passover night, they would have perished with the blood right in front of them!

God told them to stay inside. If the Israelites had disobeyed His instructions and crossed their thresholds, the blood would not have covered them. Even though the Israelites believed what God said, if they didn't follow His instruction to them, the blood could not keep them from harm.

Through faith, he [Moses] kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them (Hebrews 11:28).

Our inheritance, by faith, includes sprinkling the blood of Jesus. As believers, we "sprinkle the blood" in obedience because we know that the power of the blood overcomes all the works of the devil.

The high priests of the Old Testament offered blood sacrifices daily for the people. As New Testament believers, we are to apply the blood of Jesus daily as our plea for ourselves, our children, our loved ones, our neighbors and all our possessions!

Parents, every day at the breakfast table, before your kids go out into the world, lay your hands on their heads and plead the blood—the protecting blood of the Lamb of God—over them.

As a child, every day before I went off to school, my mama laid her hands on my head, saying, "God, in the name of Jesus, before my baby boy leaves this house today, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over him!"

Take this prayer and pray it over our righteous seed every day of their young lives.

"Lord God, I plead the blood of Jesus Christ, through my covenant relationship with you, over young lives right now. By your mighty power, move them out of harm's way. Deter everything that would affect their lives. Protect them and raise a hedge of protection over them now, in the name of Jesus.

"Satan, you have no right to these children; they are covered by the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I break your power. I plead the blood of the Lamb, and every yoke of bondage is broken."

  THE WORD

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up (Deuteronomy 6:6,7).

The Bible is a great reservoir of the power of God. Every time you feed your spirit on the Word of God it grows stronger.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

Victory over the world, the flesh and the devil comes through the Word, for it is the most tangible and powerful weapon God has given us in our spiritual arsenal.

  Who through faith subdued kingdoms,

wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens (Hebrews 11:33,34).

The devil cannot penetrate the Word of God spoken in faith. When we confess what the Word says, we unlock the door of our faith.

  SPEAK WORDS OF FAITH

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matthew 12:34).

If your heart is filled with the Word of God. . . if you are diligently standing in faith on what God's Word says, then you will speak words of faith and not doubt, life and not death, victory and not defeat.

  THE NAME OF JESUS

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).

God revealed His character to us throug
h His many names: Jehovah-Rohi, the Lord is my shepherd; Jehovah Shammah, the Lord is ever present; Jehovah Shalom, the Lord is my peace; Jehovah Rophe, the Lord heals, to list a few.

In the New Testament, Jesus fulfilled all the names of God. His glorious name preserves us from the evil one and is with us always, bringing victory, healing, peace, holiness and righteousness.

The Bible tells us that Jesus was the Word made flesh. Jesus has done everything He is ever going to do about the works of the devil—now it is up to you.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

Resist the devil through the power of the name of Jesus, and he will run from your home in absolute terror.

Whatever you are believing for the children you love, stand in faith on what the Word of God says about them. Start speaking the life-giving Word of God into their spirits and into their lives.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony (Revelation 12:11a).

The devil can't read your mind. Words of life, victory and deliverance are going to have to come from Y OUR mouth if the strong man is going to be bound.

Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? And then he will spoil his house (Matthew 12:29).

Silent faith is dead faith. For faith to operate, you must DO SOMETHING. Confess your faith out loud. Speaking the Word gives life to faith. Speaking the Word binds the devil from operating in these precious children's lives.

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:8-10).

Faith brings victory. Faith brings God on the scene. Faith moves mountains!

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).
